TDA shows 3X4 and it has all day. What trading platform do you use? I dont think Ihub is a trading platform?
Has anyone seen a ruling of any kind so we know what is going on? I have skimmed the litigation a number of times and there MUST have been some kind of investigation in order for the SEC to allow this to trade again. I dont think with these kinds of shenanigans going on that it can be as simple as showing a valid CUSIP# and being allowed to trade again. That is like a terrorist walking into an airport with bombs strapped on him and being allowed on the plane simply because he has a ticket. It just doesnt make sense. I dont see anywhere in the litigation anything that mentions a bad CUSIP#, so where did this idea come from? The SEC must have checked more than a simple cusip# before allowing this to trade again. Those who think this is the issue, please explain/provide sources.
There are clearly swindlers at play here. If the current owners of MGLG were conned into buying an illigitimate shell and they sold shares with the wrong CUSIP#, but the company is still a valid company, Wouldnt the SEC have SOMETHING in place to protect shareholders? It seems like it would be very simple to get MGLG a new CUSIP and transfer the shares. How could the SEC just say "sorry, you lose all your money"? There must be a different outcome.
Heels you have been saying with delight that if that is the case and they have been selling shares under a CUSIP that they dont have rights to, that our shares are worthless. Have you seen this happen before with a company which wasnt a scam?
This is not a challenge, I am just curious of the outcome here, because if they are found to not have a correct CUSIP, then I think the legitimacy of the company will be seriously questioned, and you dont think the legitimacy of this company has anything to do with whats at play here.
From what I understand from watching BEHL, Pinksheets.com asks for money, not just information, in order to get the caveat emptor tag removed. I think it was something like 1500 bucks. I know BEHL refused to pay it, based solely on principal, but it might be worth Mr. Carcasona's money to get that taken care of.
I find it interesting that the SEC litigation considers the "new" magellan (MGLG) to be the same company as MGGL and the EASTWIND group. How hard would it be to prove that they are not the same company? It would appear that some type of name transfers or ownership transfers must be on file somewhere.
Can anyone explain the piggyback rule mentioned in the litigation?
You don't think that this will lend some much needed transparancy with the blessing of the SEC? I think it will. Alot of the fears surrounding this company is that it is a scam. I think that if the SEC checks them out and they come out unscathed, it would actually give the company a solid foundation to rebuild its reputation on.
Sorry, must have been a miscommunication. When i said "on the left" I just meant on the left side of the web page. And as there is only one building in the picture, I guess I was confused by the "where is the building" question as well. There are about 5 different offices in that building, judging by the returns on a google search.
HA, well if you gathered that, why the hell did you ask "where is the building and can you even see it?" Yes you can see the building, no you cannot see the interior of the office. I was actually just googling it to see if it was a persons home or not. I wonder if you would get anywhere calling anyone else in the building just to ask if they are still there. Or maybe find out who manages the building and find out if they are still renting an office there.
Have you ever checked the address of some of the pinksheet companies on google street view? Its good entertainment if you are bored. And moderately good DD.
its a small picture on the left under "contact us"
A Picture of MGLGs office. Look here: http://www.nelsonfamilylaw.com/index.html
Its on the left. Must be an old house converted to offices. There are a bunch of lawyers there. It might prove convenient.
However, the way you count it doesnt allow for any of that.
How can you tell buys and sells when just in this small group of people there are people getting filled at .0004? People with more clout or more money could be buying at .0004, no??
If you send it that way, you will simply be sending it directly to karen who will promptly delete it. I really wish there was a way to speak to someone who is actually employed by mglg. If you call the number on the website, who do you get, karen? Ive never tried it.
I'm glad you put "actually" in quotation marks so everyone knows it is your opinion and that you have no idea what is going on, like the rest of us.
You honestly have no idea how much money they have and what they do or don't need for day to day operations.
You have no idea if they are producing or not.
Your other 2 points are clearly your problem with this stock, you're incredibly impatient and they take their time.
And by the way, if all the action at 5 last week was selling, then why all the buying this week at the same number? Did something get that much better?
BTW, you mean DOWNSTICK dont you?
You can't be serious. wtf are you talking about?
you just had one.
TMD energy is a private company.
Its okay heels, that is a more significant number!! I am assuming you got these numbers from the company? I dont see any other way you could have gotten them. I guess it is fine to believe the negative info, but all the positive stuff should be seriously questioned?
you cant say 5 was the bottom when we were at 4 last week.
When you try to scare people with your dilution tales, be sure you quantify it with "15 million shares" so everyone can laugh at you.
Careful heels,
Speculation is speculation whether bullish or bearish. You are drawing conclusions just as ridiculous as the ones you claim are "hilarious".
From your last post full of scenarios that -might- be going on :
"everyone should just be careful defending any pink and coming up with scenarios that must be going on... "
Defending or attacking are in the same boat when everyone is ignorant, no?
I was actually getting ready to argue with you and ordinary that production numbers are not what we actually want, that real revenue numbers are. But honestly, I think if we had a bunch of really impressive looking numbers with MCF and BTU after them, we would be better off. Any chump can calculate a PPS from a revenue number and will see that it is probably not that impressive. Even with flow numbers, most wont realize that they give 50% of revenue produced to TMD. So yes, I agree that confusing, technical numbers would be the best for the shareholders who are playing this for a run!!
I do think though, that if they gave a VERY comprehensive "update" type PR, which included info on every one of their projects, but still didnt give flow numbers for the lankford lease, that it would run. If (IF IF IF) you saw in a shareholder update that the wells on the PAUL project were still producing 50 BOPD, and that they were finally opening some of the wells on the martin waterflood project and planned to use some of the funds for a small share buyback, would you see that as positive? Maybe this falls into the same type of PR that you say we need, but would still be considered a shareholder update.
I am not trying to nail you on semantics, but magellan does have a few irons in the fire and all the emphasis doesnt need to be on the lankford lease. So whether they have the numbers or not, a shareholder update along those (very optimistic) lines could be very good for the stock.
Thanks Midnite, but I disagree with just about everything you say. Most of what you say is inarticulate and pointless. You take a very bearish stance on this stock and I really dont understand why you continue to watch it. If you are watching for a run, JUST BUY SOME NOW. If you think you can get in cheaper, how much cheaper can you get? Like pasha said today, if you get 1 or 2 ticks cheaper by waiting you have a very good chance at missing 3-4 ticks if/when a run starts. You criticize everyone for buying at every level as it drops without giving your (apparently better) plan. Well what is it? Sit here waiting to either say I TOLD YOU SO or DISAPPEAR depending on which way it goes? Sit in front of your computer all damn day for god knows how long so you can get in on the first few ticks? It jumped 3 the other day and i'm damn sure you didnt buy. It could have been the start of "the big run" for all you knew and buying on the first uptick of a 3 tick move is like getting .0003s right now. Would you buy if we were at .0003 right now? Lots of people with lots more money than you will know about "the numbers" at least 3 ticks before you, so if you would buy .0003s, you should buy now or shut up. (this goes for all the bashers or anyone criticizing people for buying at these levels).
And for the third G-D- time, Karen answers the phone because people call her number! She doesn't answer the phones at Magellan. She is NOT a secretary. She is the mouthpiece of the company. If I see this again:
"these folks hang on what someone saya who answers the phone"
my head will explode. Thanks but no thanks, I dont need support from someone like you.
No I havent been in pinks long, and I agree that everything is a big if. I also think you miss my point that money is a huge motivator to almost everyone in the world. If I take a poll today and people holding at .0012 tell me they want out ASAP, I guarantee you, that IF IF IF it starts heading for their number in a quick manner, they will hold on. The MMs dont make money with a stock sitting still so they have a huge motivation to make this thing move. The company has a huge motivation to make the PPS increase and make money. All of the holders here have the same thing in mind, making money.
No, I havent been in pinks long, and I may be wrong, but the greed factor is something that cannot be removed. Which is why I think there is a much better chance it will run than not.
You never explicitly said that the news will never come. You equated a good run with a PR with solid numbers, then said that there is a good chance that it won't run. I must be missing something here. You won't say the PR wont come, you won't say it won't run, and you say there is just as good a chance that both will actually happen. Then you say that the buyers are foolish. You take a very bearish outlook but wont take your arguements to their logical conclusion. Everyone is here to make money, you can't short the stock, what is your motivation?
Just the fact that people trade stocks to make money says that there is a better chance it will run than not run. The people who are in control of the PRs also hold lots of stock. If you could make up the PRs for your largest holding, what would they say?? I agree that this BS news isnt doing ANYTHING for the stock, and that hard numbers are the only thing that will do it, but saying there is a better (or same) chance that the news and numbers (real or fake) will simply never come is very illogical.
So you agree that there is a good chance that this could make it to .0027 again, so please explain how buying anywhere under that is getting drained?
The MMs know about the hype surrounding this stock. When a PR comes they will bring it up, and most of the impatient sellers will jump back in to make a quick buck and send it a little higher. I think it will run regardless of the sentiment in here, you cant argue with a rocketing share price, and if the MMs want it to happen, it will, and everyone will be back on the happy wagon.
The last time this stock ran, It went .0027 on mediocre news. Please give one good reason why it wont do at least that well this time, regardless of when the PR comes or what it says. The stock has all the same buyers, watchers and MMs. Please explain who is getting drained.
What kind of revenue did miller petroleum do for this period last year? They have hundreds of wells and thousands of acres in the same area. That might give you an idea.
I recieved an email from bill goodwin last week. I was under the impression that TOGA was a governing body and I was expressing my grief about magellan's lack of communication. He corrected me and told me that TOGA was NOT a governing body and that they have no control or influence over them or how they do business. He followed up by telling me (as if I didn't know) that he was CEO of TMD energy. Then he informed me that he is working with magellan on several projects and that "the information contained in their news and press releases is accurate". In my opinion Bill has a lot to lose by misleading investors and I for one feel he is trustworthy.
Have you tried this # for Bill Goodwin?

They don't even release financials. Why would the "feds" care if they had flow numbers?
Has anyone ever talked to anyone else at magellan?
Karen does IR for tons of companies. I would like to talk to someone who actually works for MGLG.
I found this today...
http://investing.businessweek.com/businessweek/research/stocks/people/person.asp?personId=26747411&ric=MGLG.PK&previousCapId=35355&previousTitle=Magellan%20Energy%2C%20Ltd.
Anyone tried this number? I have never seen this address for magellan in the US.
If you are going to make an arguement, at least try to minimize the grammer mistakes and use proper english. This way if you do somehow string together a series of rational thoughts, someone might take you seriously. XOXOXO
