It will be great to find out what applications
I thought I would mention somthing about the demo kits, I think that its a great idea to test out a product before commiting to a product. I really think that it shows the confidence in a company when they are willing to do this. I just wish more companies did this lol.
True, great ideas for the company though
It will be interesting to see how this piggybac metholodolgy will come out. looks like a bit of money was invested in the metholodogly, its great to hear that another force has joined.
thanks for the imput, i was just woundering b/c i was reading through some of the posts, and it is true on there website they have a list of questions that are kinda allready pre-answered for you, even thought there is techincal support ect.. It may be a good idea to even come up w/ somthing like dell has w/ there online support. or if not able to do, then the message board, that way customers can also hear how its working for others.
excatly
do you think that it would be a good idea to have there own message board for new users on there site?
True, I wounder if these machines will be factored in a new saftey route for the companies
Its interesting that you brought up space, and how that will be a factor for companys
True, that is a big factor.
Interesting, any word on any dates yet?
ok, thats what I was more interested in hearing. I would also figure it would be grabed by the industry.
no, not like that with the software in the system
Thats good to hear. However do you think they would have a specific target?
no, however i think it does a good job explaining the companys info.
Would Spider silk be just primarly for commercial use?
Speaking of its life...I wounder if there are continual updates for these machines
On the website there case study's are interesting, most about air plane traffic, but useful information.
I would really like to see that. I can picture it thought w/ the machines that all ready have
Wow, that would be some super silk!
It does I guess we will call it that then from now on
I agree. Especially with the economy customer service plays an important role. I was glade to see that the company was not pushing this to the side.
True, it really seems like the company is also focusing on there tech support also.
what companies are using the x-stream access
This past weekend, I was talking to my younger brother, and I was amazed on how much he knew about spider silk, and was comparing to Kevlar, and other materials.Apparently its being talked about also in the schools on how strong it is.
That's a catchy name!
That's a great idea! Also a webcast may help with budget also.
Those are two really good points. However, why was this just originally focused regard to air traffic.
The report on beconequity.com was interesting making note on the industry, and market possibly doubling in the future
lol gotcha, that would be a good idea. I wondering during there pitch what market area they would include, just one specifically or multiple uses.
that is good news to hear. Hopefully it will do well
What kind of visual are you talking about?
I agree also. I wouder if anything like this has come out in Japan. Due to the amount of building, and space.
I would think, Im sure it would depend upon a specific companys needs.
Do you think that a particular model will do better than others
From the report this was interesting also especially about Japan:
"The market for spider silk would be classified as part of the technical textiles market, which is dominated by industry giants DuPont and Honeywell. Both of these multinational corporations have seen considerable success with products in this area and it is believed either could be a licensor of the company's technology or an acquirer of the entire company should Kraig Biocraft Laboratories efforts yield significant results. A 2% penetration of the technical textiles market would likely be worth in excess of $3 billion per year. While the primary target for spider silk is thought to be the technical textiles market, we believe such a product could also be very popular relative to the apparel market, especially in Japan where silk purchases per capita are the highest in the world."

I thought this was really intresting from:http://www.scribd.com/doc/4012223/KBLB-Analyst-ReportJuly-2008
about spirder silk
"Spider silk is one of the strongest and most resilient fibers known to mankind. It is significantly stronger than steel on a pound for pound basis and comparable in tensile strengths to man-made fibers such as Kevlar. Spider silk, however, has no comparison relative to its ability to absorb energy before breakage occurs. Materials scientists in the textile and military industries have long desired to use spider silk for a variety of applications. Unlike silkworms, which live in harmonious peaceful coexistence, spiders are territorial and cannibalistic, and therefore cannot be raised in captivity."
I agree. People are always going to look for a way to handle emergency's
Very true. Would love to get more recent information on this company
There you go!
