Thanks al.....that makes sense....will the same strategy apply when they are up-listed? I ask because I'm assuming is more difficult for the MM to take advantage like they are now.
Lurker,
I have brain freeze right now. (for the record)....lol
But for example, if I wanted to buy 250,000 shares, and there werent that many shares for sale by the shareholders, would the MM have to sell me some of theirs to me at a graduating higher price per share?
I hope that made sense. Its almost Friday. kinda.
Will it be broadcast in black and white? hahaha....
Hey all,
Some of the recent negative comments regarding their PR today is EXACTLY why they are holding back with the PR's. Even though the shareholders double, people are still finding a way to bash it.
When they announce earnings, and when they uplist, and when they announce new license contracts, and when they announce their 1st qtr earnings, those ssme people will find a negative vibe within those announcements.
Personally, its almost comical how easy is it to see what the real motive of the "negative poster" is. But I guarantee that there will be a day when they all become supporters again. I'm guessing .05 per share.
Cheer up!
Cool----I just want to see (something) that is showing the number of caskets sold...I dont necessarily need the actual income, but to know that their products are selling is key with me.
its ok man!....Ohio State will win another championship soon. They were best when Orlando Pace was blocking for Eddie George. As a matter of fact, I think that was one of the best combo's in the team's history. Two possible Hall of Famers in my opinion.
SS, its better then having your money in a company that isnt off the ground though. You have to admit that. And by the way, you're probably a LOT safer here than the DOW or NYSE.
Yikes!!!....How many good companies out there are getting the crud kicked out of them for no reason???!!!!
What an ugly market.
okokok.....I was on a different page there....I was thinking that some companys wont report the last 30 days of revenue until the 1st qtr of the next year...
But what you just said sounds exactly why they wouldnt include those numbers....
Either way, do you think they will have made more than 2007?
Thanks Lurker! (as usual)
could be....i didnt know what he was referring to....i think he said somthing like "net-30" revenue?
???
Bee!!!
Check this out though----I figure if there are (probably) 15-20 million Cubs Fans, and they dont win another World Series until 2109, that would mean EI would probably sell about................15-20 million more Cubs caskets!!!!
Wow. I cant believe I just said that. I'm gettin' struck by lightning on the way home.
I'm fired up about the earnings coming out next Wednesday. At that point, I wont be considered "pumper" anymore because i'll be able to shove the financials in those doubters' faces!!!! I bet they made a lot more than 2007, Bee.
I am curious though about them not reporting the Dec casket sales. Lurker was saying that some companys dont reflect the last 30 days of revenue for that year. Is that correct? If they dont include those figures, can they release them along with their 1st qtr '09 numbers?
GOOOOOO Eternal!!!!
Lurker----here's my take.....
It takes FINRA apprx 8-9 days before responding to EI's response, right? I'm thinking that the earnings and up-list could possibly happen by the end of next week. I wonder if FINRA and the MM are intentionally trying to delay this as much as they can before the income figures are out next Wednesday? At the minimum though, if FINRA doesnt move fast enough to uplist by the 15th, shareholders can start to eliminate doubts of the companys performance (or lack thereof) because they will know the company's fiscal trajectory.
Personally, once I know that they are making more money on a year-to-year basis, I will be confident enough not to worry about the semantics of FINRA, irregardless of when they let EI off the uplist leash.
Interesting. So if I am a fan of the company, I'm a "pumper"? Do you think this is a broken company even though they have began selling caskets at a good pace since Dec. 08? DO you think this is a broken company because they are 10 months ahead of schedule on the PM casket line? Do you think this is broken company because they are reporting their earnings in 8 days? Do you think this is a broken company because they have products all over the United States?
Are you getting my point? The list of items I've listed is not "pumping"....it is fact. Why dont you list out all of the reasons (if any) that Eternal Image is a broken company.
I get the impression that the people who've held Eternal since 2007 are very bitter; but I cant help you on that one, because over the last 6 months, they've made leaps and bounds just like a normal start-up company should. They have signed manufacturing and distribution contracts, have had great success with the sale(s) of the MLB caskets, and are very close to up-listing and reporting earnings.
I would recommend that you leave the past in the past. (to a certain extent). In no way am I giving them a free pass to make more mistakes, but I do see a positive trend that began in late 2008 that was not there in 2007 and middle 2008.
Hang in there! The only way us shareholders can prevent the stock from going down is to NOT SELL.....period. Dont let LABS take advantage of these FINRA delay(s)...!!!!!
I wonder how expensive the NFL would be in relation to MLB?
I believe that once the earnings come out, larger brokers will be able to establish a baseline for the company's trajectory. Once they have that information, they will begin recommending ETNL to their clients. Pretty much every stock broker I know says to stay away from the Pink Sheet Stocks unless they are "real" companies. Too many brokers look like "Boiler Room" when they recommend a PinkSheet.
I also think that once they are uplisted, ETNL will receive a higher amount of respect within the investment community.
By the way----it is terrible what happened in New York....my thoughts and prayers are with the family(s) of the victims....
I'm thinking good stuff next week.....if FINRA is usually taking 10 days to respond, and they do without any more BS comments that need to be answered, this stock should uplist by next friday at the latest.
SO.....If they DO uplist next week, and the following week report their earnings, then soon after that, they annouce the new financing with Shane Swetel, then the new license contracts, etc....!!!!!
10 cents a share, Fugundus!!!
yeah----but the economy is at its bottom. It will rebound (in certain areas) quicker than people think.
In my opinion, there are two items that will get the economy going again:
1. The toxic assett auctions will begin within a few weeks. This will allow lenders to offload their cruddy paper, and focus on lending again, rather than trying to keep 30% of their adjustable rate portfolio from foreclosure. The quicker that happens, the quicker the lenders are able to loan money with losser guidelines. (Conforming Mortgage lenders are not qualifying anyone unless they have a 620 middle score). I would bet there are a lot of people with a 615 middle score that would pay just as timely as those with a 620 middle score.
2. The mark-to-market evaluation of these lenders' assetts will be revised to allow the portfolio to be judged on todays values, rather than last year. This is a rather slippery slope, but it will let the lenders (once again) focus on generating new loans. The mortgage application(s) for the 1st qtr are higher than expected, so now is the time to buy a house..!!
LC, what I'm getting at is the market is recovering, and their will always be life insurance policy's available. Caskets produced by Eternal Image have set company sales records in Dec of 2008! That was during the THICK of the economic meltdown!!!!!!!
Go 49ers!!!!
BASSER!!!....how dare you speak of the 49ers that way!....we're going to the superbowl this year. okok---maybe they will go to the Sugarbowl instead!!! lol
Eternal Image may need to build a lot of 49er caskets if they dont start winning again!!!
ITS ALMOST FRIDAY!!!!!
EXACTLY!.....I cant wait until they are hitting on all cylinders and have their entire casket line out there!
10 cents? yeah right! Wait until they annouce the 2009 and 1st qrtr 2010 earnings.....this thing will be at a buck!
And the 49ers are going to the playoffs. I had to squeeze that in there Lurker. Sorry.
My guess is that they wait as long as they can for their earnings report so they can uplist before then....
By the way, I'm curious if the earnings will show the December casket sales? Lurker was saying that sometimes the last 30 days are (not) included sometimes?
Either way, I think their earnings will be better than 2007, and that is exactly what the bigger investors want to see. My friend at Wachovia said they pay attention to the trend of income sometimes more than the actual amount. In Eternal's case, I would imagine their 2008 earnings are far more than 2007....with that being said, the trending is headed in a positive direction.
Figure when they file their 2009 earnings, they will have all their caskets available, so 2010 is looking more and more solid.....
About the CFO----they are probably using the accounting firm that handled their SEC uplisting, so the CFO shakeup wouldnt impact the company as much as posters are saying.
C-YA!.....talk to you a few years from Cabo San Lucas.....!
how about 4 dollars a share? c'mon!!!, thats half off!!
rock on man...!!! I tell myself on bad days that "the best part of today is tomorrow"....
Earnings tomorrow?.....I'm also curious if each company has a certain "day" they have to report earnings? Depending on a fiscal year end, etc...or are they all bound to report by Wednesday?
Thanks----
al44!!!....how dare you!!!.....
I was counting on 40 dollars a share!!!.....I would have $34,760,000 in my checking account if that happens!!!.....
Thanks for spoiling it all the way down to .40 a share...!!!
I love it!!....we're actually a bit cheery and its Monday!!!
lol
It wont be an issue soon though---provided all of us hang on to our shares....the more of us that sell, the larger LABS gets, right?
ok---so the earnings we are expecting from ETNL are the 2008 totals...right?
Lurker---one more thing....
I was reading a post about the DOW is likely to get beat up next week because of all the earnings that will be coming out in the "next few weeks".....I'm wondering if some companies have certain days where their earnings are due, or do some companies postpone/delay past the 31st deadline? I got a little thrown off by the phrase "the next two weeks".....
Is it normal to see companies delay their earnings? What is a normal circumstance for a company to do so?
Tony indicated that the information is simple to retain the "higher" status for the Pinks, but to be honest, in MY opinion, he didnt sound very worried about what the PINKS say at this point. He indicated they are much more focused on getting the earnings reports done, and putting pressure on the MM to get along with FINRA....
It was what I expected, so no surprise there. Lets hope for some good news next week....I wont be impressed by their earnings because they only sold MLB caskets since Dec, but it will be a good reference opint going forward. MOST importantly, if they announce they better financing, and a new license contract, this thing is going to take off..!!!
Happy Friday Lurker..!
Fugundus!....whats up!!!
Thanks Lurker----I guess Citigroup did that because they took 500 bazillion dollars from the bailout ATM and taxpayers are sharpening their knives...lol!!!
Dont I get any credit for initiating the response, which in turn, caused the "Post of the Year" award? lol...
wrong! Their products and product availability is spread across several funeral homes!!!.....people walking into those funeral homes are viewing (and purchasing) their product(s)!!
---Somethings in "life" are free man....even though we're talking about the funeral industry!!! lololol
Lurker, I wonder if EI could annouce earnings forecasts early?
For example, a few weeks ago Citigroup had a PR indicating they were operating in the black from the beginning of 2009.....they were probably urged to do so because of the economic crisis we're all in, but do you think EI could make that kind of a statement before they are uplisted?
I dont know if I phrased that question properly, sorry!
Do me favor though---make sure the price is still at .01 on monday, because thats when I get paid!!! lol.....
I'd love to pick up another half-million of shares at this price!!!
Rock On Eternal---
I might be reaching here, but how swift is the current that Eternal is swimming against? C'mon, they build caskets!! They are progressing RIGHT before our eyes......is the way that everyone wants? Probably not. Are there things we'd like to have seen done differently? Probably.
The fact is, once they announce earnings (correct me if I'm wrong) on the 31st, they will be ANOTHER step closer to becoming a legitimized company.
Once they uplist, I will become their most intense critic; becuase at that point, money talks, and message boards walk.
5star---all I'm saying is that Eternal Image has a VERY good chance of succeeding once they are recognized by larger investment firms---and that will take place once they uplist.
Actually LC, they are getting a lot of unplanned exposure for free...first of all they are getting the exposure from all the funeral homes, and I'm pretty sure EI isnt paying for all of the TV interviews that are occurring....
All i'm getting at is ETNL doesnt appear to be the "normal" penny stock at this stage in their company's progress.
hang-on man!!!.....are you saying that Eternal Image is not a tried and true company already? They have already established a huge network of distributors and manufacturing! They are getting massive exposure FOR FREE...!!!
You dont really think that Eternal Image would be able to sneak into the MBL and Star Trek do you? or the Vatican, etc....and they are 10 months ahead of schedule on the PM casket line!!! If a properly trained stock broker takes a look at the upside of Eternal's operations, their stock will be purchased more frequently than now.
The problem is simple----99% of the larger firms wont even LOOK until there are earnings, a forecast of future earnings, and a solid business model pertaining to the industry the company is part of. No other funerary companys have what Eternal has-----and that should mean something to any investor.
My point is that once they are uplisted, (my friend is a stock broker waiting on the uplisting) they will start to be evaluated by people with a LOT more money than any of us have....If Eternal buckles then, I'm fine with it. But we should all give this a chance to be a sound, popular company in Funerary industry before giving in to the negative stuff.
I wish it was at 3 bucks a share, man----but I'm certainly not going to buckle because of the semantics of FINRA and the manipulation(s) therein.
Your both missing the fact that once EI uplists, they will viewed as more legitimate than a pick sheet stock. This in turn will have a LOT more brokers, and investment firms evalutaing, and (hopefully) recommending to their clients to purchase shares of Eternal Image.
The price right now is down because too many shareholders (are probably needing money for their mortgage payments) but also they are trimming off and waiting for the uplist, and then earnings, and then to see how Tony does or doesnt do with the newer, larger, prospective investors that will recognize EI as a legitimate company.
It's almost Friday ya'all...!!!! Cheer up!!!!
Sounds good...!!! I will happily buy any shares you sell at this price!
See you later! (thank god)
SBee----that would actually make perfect sense...if they get lucky and FINRA gives the green light before next tuesday, AND they report earnings, then watch out!!!.....this thing is going to fly sky high!!!
All that is great, but please educate me (and the others) about EXACTLY what it takes to uplist to a higher board then. It will help alot more than pouting about who should be hired and fired.
You also left out the part of Tony's response indicating he CANNOT put pressure on FINRA.
I saw some comments about people wondering if Tony, or ETNL could contact FINRA.....below my message is his response to that....And I agree with it. I wonder about if shareholders complain about this and that, and manipulation, etc....could that have an adverse impact on our uplisting in a timely manner? I am in now way trying to justify some of the funny-business that is going on, but maybe if we held off the calls and complaints to FINRA or the SEC, we'd uplist quicker. I have no idea if whether or not that is the reason the uplisting is taking longer than expected, but maybe Lurker or Superbee could educate me a little here....(god knows I need it!!!)
Happy Tuesday!!---lets get a run together!!!
Hi Roy:
We are forbidden to contact FINRA directly, however we can --and do-- exert pressure on our MM to bring this to a timely conclusion.
It's easy to imagine all sorts of conspiracy theories and of course, everyone seems to have their own insight -- but all we can do from our perspective is follow the rules and respond to each and every comment as expeditiously as possible.
We await FINRA's response to our latest response and will keep everyone informed of our progress!
Best Regards,
Tony Fazio
