10-Q is out, they are broke! And no funding!!!
i don't think the likelyhood of an up move is very high until they make a positive announcement of some sort.....like maybe that they are staying in business!!
Looks like a late 10Q again......filed with the SEC
appears to be some interest in this stock this morning...hmmm
Okay,so I was tyring to be overly optimistic! I was hoping there was some scenario that could possibly explain the situation other than Mick realizing this was a sinking ship and there was no way to keep it afloat....
Is it possible Mick was brought on as a "consultant" based on his expertise. He collected, analyzed, reviewed and developed a path forward by which the company can survive and grow? His job was done so he left......
“It’s been nearly two months since I came on board with Growers Direct Coffee Company. Since that time, our team has been diligently working to assess the current state of affairs in the company, which we have now completed in a comprehensive Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) assessment. Subsequently, our team has made considerable effort to solidify our, “Tree to Cup,” vertical integrated strategy, which sets the course for our future success in growth of the company, meeting our customer’s needs, acquiring new customers, as well as improving the investment position of all current shareholders.”
Mick continued, “So far, all strategies have advanced forward and a series of press releases will be made upon successful conclusion of strategic ventures. Some of our strategies are significant, innovative, and are not currently being pursued by our competitors, which is why it's been "close to the vest". We believe our market approach is innovative and we intend to become an industry leader as we advance.”
Mick further added, “It’s at times like these, in our current economic conditions, that only the most smartly strategized and funded companies will be the “lights in the darkness” of the current market. The coffee segment is a good recession-resistant place for some of the smart money right now, especially with our new viable, effective and executable strategic plan. We are in discussions to secure funding for our new strategic plan, and news of that funding, as well as an outline of the new plan will be forthcoming.”
In closing, Mick stated, “I cannot overstate the importance of our team taking the necessary time to develop our new strategic plan, for it is the foundation of all our successes. In the immortal words of Sun Tzu, “This is the art of strategy. It is the most important skill in the nation. In situations of life and death, it is the way of survival or extinction.” At Growers Direct Coffee Company, we fully intend to be both survivors and growers, as we execute our “Tree to Cup” vertically integrated strategy. Our Tree to Cup strategy is an excellent business model that allows our company to pursue opportunities, in spite of these challenging times."
Forget it, site back to "normal"
Anyone notice Yahoo site now has no news articles or company events? Wonder if something is up...
MSN shows the 500000 share as a grant, not a purchase. I did not see that on the form though
I suppose the next press release will either make us or break us, not that there is much left to break...
Hawk, You seem to have left us here...disappointed with recent events? We all are! I want someone to give me a good reason Nepal acquired 500,000 shares two weeks prior to this announcement.....he had to know it was coming...or did the deal just fall apart and Mick said I'm gone! Its only $25,000 of Nepals money, but still....WHATS UP??
I did my buying early on at ask...just for you Real! I tried!! Figured if Nepal bought 500,000 share, i could by 50k or so
What do you make of all of this? Combining an announcement for the sale of coffee with the resignation of Mick?? Then Nepal buying 500,000 shares at .05 last month??
Did they not want Micks direction or did he bail the sinking ship?
well I pulled my bid, no sense adding money to this now..wait and see...
I'm not selling, if nothing else, I'm supporting the price by buying!
More of the same ol stuff....new news..drifting lower, still waiting to get filled..Cheers all!
I don't know why the MM's would even mess with a penny(literally)stock.....well it probably won't take a lot of $$$'s to drive it down.....we shall see!
I think I'll get my fill today.....if we go below .02 its probably because someone knows something or we all know something at the point...
Looks like someone is trying to fill my order, thanks!
Well I won't drag it down, but someone will want to exit if the news doesn't come out soon, so I am patiently waiting for the cheap shares someone wants to give me! And should the news come out and this is back up to .25 things could be worse! I don't see it going anywhere without confirmation of a few things mentioned by Mick..right now in this economy, I would say the financing thing is a big deal. Hopefully they have been succesful!
But it needs to wait until my buy gets filled...
Two months left this year, anyone want to speculate what the price will be at on December 31? It would be nice to see a new high for the year!
its not a lot but you have to wonder why people would sell at this price, unless they know it's going to 0, then a sure three cents is better....but if you are an investor not privy to the inside info.....why sell?
Seems like just about every day is a "dreadful" market day!! Maybe this will be the week for some meaningful news
or it could all be a scam to try to get the price "pumped up" to allow some to exit before 0
not saying that is the case but it would have to be considered!
Well the bright side is, this can only go three cents lower....
I hope we hear something very positive very soon!
If these guys are for real, we'll be ten fold in no time....if they are not, we'll be down 4.5 cents....it appears the jury is still out!
Added a bunch today at .045....let hear about this plan!
None of the stores are company owned. I would think the franchisor is definitely making money as they get their cut from each store. How much? who knows? I wonder how profitable each store is and if it's a viable business.

Well, initial response is not overwhelming by any means...down to 3 cents.....what do you make of this, I guess it really depends on the terms of the purchase...
