They use the same links, etc on the Yahoo board.
They have been claiming the "winfield manipulation" now
for over three years.
Amazing how great an effort is being put forth to keep people
out of the stock or get them to sell right before the dore pour.
IMO
Looks like Corrado did some good work yesterday.
Nice to see some large buys today...
Until it's not...
Shorts are getting desperate, just like the CRA.
The ID is all too familiar, Rich. Has a bit of an angry tone in the message too; like after you lose lots of money on a wrong-way bet.
Looking forward to the dore' pour in August...
Like I said, the CRA is desperate...and thanks for confirming my suspicions.
A desperate act by desperate people unwilling to entertain all the good
that Comstock Mining provides and will continue to provide in the future.
You're very lucky that this company has taken all the time and effort to do things right.
CRA's short-sightedness will of course cost the company more money as
they jump through yet more hoops but in the end, the outcome will be the same:
Mining will commence!
Good too for your "growing position in VC" and the office; I see that you donated
some money for headstones. Great job in boosting the economy in your
depressed area.
BTW, I was able to add a good number of shares today at these bargain prices.
GLTY
"This Notice does not impact the construction activities ongoing at our processing site and does not directly impact the preparation and construction of the mine. Both will proceed on schedule."
I think this just about sums it up. I suspect this action was initiated by the CRA, which at this point is grabbing at straws. It's kinda sad. Another attempt to throw something at LODE to see what sticks.
Like everything else the misguided, malicious, mal-informed CRA has tried to do will backfire at them.
These people just need to accept the fact that Comstock Mining will shortly be in production
and there is nothing they can do to stop it.
It's an exciting time for LODE, Gold Hill and Virginia City!
Old "news" LOL
This amateur was useless then and is still useless today.
GLTY
I like the part about July 2012 dore pour!
Thanks for posting the link...
"Research Counselor?" Really? This is nonsense.
You want me to believe this "research counselor" out in PA who writes like a high school student?
Then you link to an email posted on a site that is known to be hostile toward LODE? Didn't their appeal just get turned down...AGAIN? These people will try anything just to see what sticks.
How about posting a link to show us all when JET initiated coverage? Most legit research firms publish a PR when initiating or dropping coverage. A third party email just doesn't cut it; especially when it comes from the likes of Comstock Residents Association.
GREAT NEWS FOR LODE TODAY...
Air Quality permit is ready to be issued after public hearing and comment period:
"On the basis of the preliminary review and the requirements of the NRS, the NAC and the Clean Air Act, the Director is hereby announcing his intent to issue the Class I Air Quality Operating Permit to Construct based on a review of the information submitted."
http://ndep.nv.gov/docs_11/comstock_a0404_npa_2761.pdf
http://ndep.nv.gov/admin/public.htm#air_p
The point being that shorts like to drop explosive statements to perhaps keep
interest in the stock down or to mute the interest after the recent run up. It's especially
effective on those who are new to the stock or haven't run the numbers. A well worded negative will make newbies think twice, hence slowing the run.
Shorts are nervous as they know it's only a matter of time before the permit is finalized
and we're on to production.
This stock is a great value considering all share types issued and pending.
All IMHO...
Seems like the shorts are getting a bit nervous...
Saw the same post on the Yahoo board this am.
Most longs are well aware of this.
As always, thanks for posting the linked facts.
Yes, I guess that's their prerogative. It's also Comstock Mining's prerogative to mine on the land
that they own in a mining district. Nothing ever stays the same and it's not like Comstock Mining just showed up on the scene; they've been exploring, drilling and test mining this area for nearly ten years.
It strikes me as odd now that Comstock is just about ready to produce, that these NIMBY nuts show up. If the "association's" true goal was to prohibit mining in the area, they are about ten years too late.
IMO, these two sides will work it out just fine and everyone will be the better for it.
He who rejects change is the architect of decay. ~Harold Wilson
Gold Hill is no Williamsburg, that's for sure...
This "association" seems pretty short-sighted and fails to understand the greater good that
Comstock Mining will bring to the area. Thankfully, the county administrators see differently and
look to the economic future. Nobody in these towns are getting rich on tourism, that's for sure;
they now have a golden opportunity to capitalize on the rebirth of the Comstock.
The money that Comstock Mining will provide to the local towns through taxes, revenue and reinvestment will more than compensate for the mining activities, which incidentally are well on the outskirts of town. Reclamation bonds have been posted to return the disturbed areas back to
their natural state. From what I've seen, it'll be a big improvement.
Jobs and the promise of economic prosperity will win out, especially in times like this.
I think Comstock Mining will turn out to be a good environmental citizen and will be given
the chance to prove it.
Hey guy, you posted the wrong chart and the analysis seems flawed.
You are answering a post from April of 2010 where DavyJones said that
the stock would be down 40 - 80% post split. Here's the right chart from that date going forward and he was WRONG!
Stock is strongly up from the date of the split June 7, 2010...
It's a non-issue. Local and state govt are pro-mining and the counties in
this area sorely need the revenue. It's a win-win...
Fantastic...Moelis at work! (eom)
Funny you should come back to announce
a price decline. You give yourself away. LOL
I was able to add on this dip. Another great buying opportunity!
I think Extreme is right, the 43-101 resources are counted & categorized differently
that the previous SME standard.
The 43-101 report mentions additional resources that cannot be included at this time until
certain issues are addressed, i.e. moving the highway and other BLM minutia.
If you've only read the summary and not the entire report, it's very interesting
and thorough and I believe, will answer your question. I'd be surprised if Goldspring
calls you back but you never know...
Section 99.2 (Entire Behr-Dolbear Report) from yesterday's 8k:
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/displayfilinginfo.aspx?FilingID=7266673-21914-23028&type=sect&dcn=0001144204-10-028724
Will look forward to hearing your report from the CEO...
Great news with this 43-101 and delivered pre-split. That's good for current shareholders.
I'm sure you'll let us know what you find, once you've had a chance to review the 2008 numbers.
It doesn't really matter though what you find, this document supersedes prior indications.
(At least officially for now)
Extreme most likely was alluding to the greater potential of the Comstock.
Quit nitpicking and give the guy a break. He is only a poster and not Goldspring.
Time to focus on what the COMPANY is providing in their PR's.
Behre indicated in their report that the ounces had a high likelihood of doubling.
That's good enough for me and all this on small percentage of their land holdings.
Excellent news today.
I voted YES to the R/S in both accounts.
IMO, GSPG is in serious need of a share restructuring and although the reverse is higher
than I would like, it's clear to me that they would be doing this for exposure on another
exchange. If the split were a lower ratio, it would not make the future SP high enough
to be listed on another exchange with any great effect.
I'm all for moving forward and into production. I'm also for having greater institutional
investment in this company which can't be done at the current price level and share structure.
I'm looking forward to the outcome of the voting and to see if the R/S would be implemented
immediately or if GSPG keeps this card close to their chest.
Scared money never wins.
Again, what are your motives for still posting here? Oh, you're a trader.
You've posted ad nauseam that you believe the R/S is a bad deal. You've made your
point over and over again. Move on. You appear to be the emotionally invested one.
I still happen to believe in the dd that I've done. Don't beat me up about it.
Goldspring is a great value at these levels and IMO will be going into production.
Time will prove one of us right or wrong. Your crystal ball is no better than mine.
Stock bashers are so transparent, especially with Goldspring.
Nobody in their right mind would continue to hang around a message board after
they have sold their investment, unless there is another motive.
The more negative posts that are made, the more they give their true intentions away.
This is a delicate time for Goldspring and I expect we'll see more negative posts from
strangers and people that have "sold."
Of course all in the guise of looking out for everyone's best interests.
Hang in there!
Agree, the communication has been frustrating although they are a fully reporting company (which is a good thing). I believe and its only my opinion, that GSPG cannot divulge the plan BEFORE the restructuring. Until then, you either believe in the dd that you've done and hold/add or if you're unsure, then fold. There are lots of people around that evidently want long holders to throw in the towel. I won't be one of them.
You sound really frustrated. Mining takes time and patience. Plans do change and will change.
Goldspring has a big project here that has drawn a lot of talented people. Keep the faith and watch the project unfold. IMO I believe it will happen.
Very confusing post. You expect me to believe what you've written to Extreme when you only have $400 invested? Extreme makes much more sense and has real facts to back them up.
Take some time to read the links he's posted.
One reason why I'm holding & adding to my position: The link below is to a project that Goldspring's CEO, Robert Reseigh put together for New Jersey Transit tunneling. It's quite impressive and also contains his substantial resume.
This guy could work on any project and he has chosen Goldspring. Someone of this caliber
WOULD NOT be involved in a fly-by-night operation.
Mining takes time and I fully trust Goldspring's management.

I'll take those cheap shares, THANK YOU!
You definitely get the artful post award for today. Nice color!
Pretty fantastical first post, Stocks. Doesn't appear that anyone is bailing...
I'm gonna stick around and continue to accumulate.
This little gem has all its ducks in a row and is about to go big time.
Well worth the risk. IMO
Nobody likes a reverse split but in Goldspring's case, it's a necessary
evil to get us into production and to expose us to a much wider investor base.
Stick around, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
What is interesting here is that these shares were absorbed by buyers pretty quickly
without much price decline.
You'd have to go back a few years to find .004
If you look at more recent charts, it's more likely to bounce off of these levels
than to head down to .004. There's just too much support in the .006's.
Every time during the last year that I've been able to add under .007, it has worked for me!
Don't get discouraged. The greater fundamentals of this company will raise us all up.
Also don't forget that along with financing will come production.
Goldspring didn't recently expand their footprint by 67% for shits and grins...
(once financing & production are announced, the price of the surrounding leases will be
much more expensive -- good move on their part)
I've got my buy orders in...
Anything below .007 is still a deal no matter how you slice it.
Thanks for your repeated "warnings." LOL
Since you are a long-time holder, surely you realize that
Goldspring so far, hasn't been tied to the POG.
It GSPG were tied to the price of gold, we'd certainly be much
higher right now, correct?
Therefore, if the price of gold heads south, it should have no effect on the SP.
BTW, gold has significant support at the 1,000 level.
Great thread on Moelis here:
www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/citi-ibd-vs-moelis
It's a bit dated (12/08) but talks about working for Moelis
vs. Citi. Seems like Moelis Co is highly regarded in the industry, has
a very dedicated team and gets the job done.
Goldspring chose well...
No need to shout all your negativity.
I don't think Goldspring will have much trouble finding the needed 30mm
to begin production. They have TWENTY TIMES that amount in proven reserves on
less than 2% of their holdings. Get real! When their approved permit is released,
IMO you'll see the financing come into place in short order.
I think THM was a suitor coming to call on Goldspring. Pontius sat on the board long enough to see the big picture.
Either he couldn't meet their price / terms or it was too big a project given THM's recent drill program in Alaska.
I don't think it was a mistake, by either party, that he sat on the board. I'm not buying the story that Pontius was too busy -- he wouldn't have gotten involved in the first place. It's not like he's a newbie to the industry...
In his exit letter, didn't he refer to GSPG's project in some kind of superlative such as "massive?" Subtext: Go ahead, go it alone...
With resources becoming harder and harder to find, not to mention the expense of proving a resource; Goldspring is a good buyout / jv candidate.
I think the people behind Goldspring know this fact, know the history of their lands (Bonanza proven) and want top dollar -- otherwise, they're taking the necessary steps to take this mine to the next level and begin production themselves.
Relating the article to Goldspring, I don't think it really matters as even Mr. Basenese agrees the long term trend for gold is up.
Will the share price head down if gold goes lower, I don't really think so and this is why: When gold corrected last year, GSPG held its value much better than many of the mining stocks, at least in my portfolio.
We've also been testing these lows and it seems like the shares are in strong hands. Goldspring also has major expected news.
Many of my miners have been shooting up as of late but the royalty stocks are definitely lagging. Perhaps if gold trends down, I would expect to see royalty stocks take a hit as their bottom line is more immediately tied into the POG.
I think he's in denial about inflation. Supermarket prices have gone up and if not, they've reduced the amount of food in a package by 10% - 20% as not to sticker shock the consumer. I just came from Staples where my toner cartridge costs ten bucks more and a box of envelopes was almost another ten.
He seems a little urgent at the end of the article about selling & shorting gold.
Does this guy have ties to the Fed?
Thanks for the read...
That's the billion dollar question
So if you've been invested for two years, you've seen the great
progress that Goldspring has made. Going from reported resources,
to reported reserves to upgrading permits (because the ore body is
just huge and goes off in all directions). Their indicated resources have
doubled and then some over this period of time.
You also must know, since you've been invested all this time, that
GSPG plans production after the permits have been upgraded and
they add to their already existing processing facility. Some of this equipment
has already been purchased and is waiting for the permit upgrades due out
in Aug/Sept.
Now to answer your (rhetorical?) question, this points to late 2009 / early 2010,
just when Gold & Silver are expected to really push beyond their all time highs.
Surely a little longer is really not going to matter in the greater scheme of things; especially when gold AND silver prices are set to skyrocket.
(not to mention the buyout potential here given the level of reported reserves and indicated resources)
Looks like perfect timing to me...patience is the key.
Low volume manipulation (eom)
