Wow.... working overtime tonight. TECO action is causing the wheels to turn in excess.
At a $ 0.01 SP, the company would be capitalized at $ 2 million.
I think $ 0.50 is a pipe dream. The problem with ONCO is that with so little information, it is difficult to judge the value of the company. Dr. Walker needs to begin acting like a CEO and reporting the progress of the company.
Does anyone know what the sales are or what the profits are? No.... there has been nothing released to indicate whether the company is thriving or preparing for bankruptcy.
Given Walker's age, I would think he would do anything he could to make the stock worth something. With ~ 110 million shares under his ownership, he could be sitting pretty if he ran this like a real business.
Help me understand your comment. I had a bid in to buy TECO (the bid price) and someone sold it to me at that price. I bought the stock as it is certainly going through the roof.
Was this a buy, or a sell as you define it?
Junk, at what point do you become a buyer?
Remember, Bruce Gwyn only gets %5K per year in salary from TECO. I am sure he get lots of options/grants in liew of pay. Would you do that if you didn't think the share price was going through the roof?
He probably wants to sell a few shares (God knows he has many, many more) to plan the party.
Good things coming soon.... unless you are short.
Word is that TECO is on the verge of a massive upward explostion.
The announcement will soon be made that Belize is on line and Texas is producing, approaching a 600 BPB rate.
You heard it here first.
Have you hired a hit man??
Nabbbss (interesting handle),
As anyone reading this thread knows,I am a great supporter. ONCO is,indeed an undervalued company, but I see nothing that will change that until Dr W is no longer running the show.
Don't get me wrong. He is a great asset, but not as the CEO/CoB.
Having spoken with him many times, I find him very sincere and likable, but without the business accumen to command a business.
This is the real problem with ONCO. My hopes are that he soon steps down and sells the 120M or so shares he owns.
Only then will we find the true value of this gem.
Dan, none of us are demented enough to understand him.
Where can a guy get a bag of popcorn to eat while viewing this circus?
I didn't realize TECO made him the Site Supervisor. Why are you so sure he will be there when things go pop?
If you knew what I know, you would buy more.....but you don't
Good points. My opinion is they are letting the shorts dig themselves in deeper and will lower the hammer when the most damage can be done.
I would not want to be short when the world hears what is going on with TECO
Seven.
Maybe it means the massive buying you predicted weeks ago is starting, huh? Or maybe it means he saw the coupons on the Boston Market web page and can't wait to get some chicken noodle soup.
Yes, very revealing
Hogg, I am not sure I am in love with Facebook updates, but I own stock in a few companies that do the same thing. They are careful with cash and don't wish to spend $ 2500+ per news release, so they use FB as a means of keeping shareholders up to date. You are correct that it might not do much to add to SP, but it is a tool for communications.
TECO will soon begin it's ascent and I will be along for the ride.
Interesting statement... care to elaborate?
Blind,
You need to follow the thread. My response was speaking to the question of why the SP is so low. We will not have new blood here until TECO does what I mentioned. There is no reason to buy the stock right now since there is and has been no reason to buy it now. I want to see the price go up and it would be nice if it started it's advance soon.
I have not sold a single share and also know we will all be rewarded for staying the course. What we need is something that will get investors off the sidelines and buy stock.
BTW, I speak with Mike almost every week. He is a great guy and is very open about things (but limited, of course, in what he can say). As of yesterday he couldn't tell me how many BpD were being pumped. If you know, please share that info with the board.
But therein lies the problem. TECO needs to come out with a release and say something like .."we are produciong X BpD of oil and y mcf per day of gas..." and also giove a complete picture of their plans for E. Texas, W. Texas and Belize.
Does anyone know how much they are producing every day right now?
I don't.
Thanks... I do not have PM capability either. Your advice is great, however, I've been here for a while and am totally invested... with far too much TECO already.
Like many, I am optimistic about the long term and anxious to see the catalyst that sets the share price on it's skyward path.
I would love to receive a PM with your thoughts. As a long, I also believe we are heading north and always enjoy understanding the view of others.
TECO is progressing, more oil is being pumped every day and things are in place to increase production exponentially. Everyone knows that so we all need to wait for the plan to come to fruition.
There is no urgency on the part of the company to release news until it is ready. Nothing anyone here says will change anything.
As are many others, I am in this for the long haul and in it to sell for dollars, not cents.
When the shareprice begins to respond, it also will rise exponentially.
I have been sued and filed suit against others. What's the big deal...?
The question is, does TECO have oil and that question has been answered with a resounding "YES"
Hopefully, today's lack of buying doesn't give the shorts an incentive to play their games again.
We sure will need news about more production to get this thing rolling.
Help me understand. Are you saying they have said specific things were happening in the past that were not, or are you stating they said things would happen and they never came to fruition?
There is a big difference. On July 20, TECO stated "Treaty is now producing oil at the rate of 229 BOPD and natural gas at 822 MCF per day..."
So is your position that they didn't deliver as expected, or they have flat out lied about production?
There is a big difference....
At $3.00, that was some serious money bailing out!... NOT
LMFAO
Anyone want to venture a guess on whether we will see news today?
I am thinking yes....
What Treaty says isn't always what Treaty does
Perhaps you can name one that does...
Perhaps the fact that the literacy rate is so low in the US is the reason many just can't seem to read the writing.
I sure see good things on the horizon.
Blind,
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this statement you made
or there is a longer term interest and understanding of the potential that Treaty must really possess,
Is exactly why I am certain that TECO will become a major player.
When it was announced on July 12 that:
George Warren, a Director of Tanjung Offshore, a Malaysia based Company Offering Comprehensive Services to the International Oil, Gas & Energy Industries, Accepted Appointment to the Board of Treaty Energy Corporation
....TECO made a statement that most people have just not been able to interpret. In due time, they will.
Nothing happens overnight, but this will be as close as it gets.
Man, this is becoming a different board. Impatience, demands for news, bad mouthing management....
Folks, none of this will do any good. What makes anyone think that things will go on the schedule they demand? Now, I would like to see the SP at $1.00 too, but it will not happen as soon as any of us want it to.
Things just don't happen overnight and I would much prefer that Reid and co focus on the business issues and not spend any time trying to placate anyone here. Either you are in, or you are not in.... simple.
I am in for the long haul. Thank goodness it is Friday so everyone can tie one on, cuss and spit and get it all out of their systems for Monday.
Take a deep breath, have a beer and relax. Just think, the deays make it that much longer ntil we need to pay capital gains to the azzhols in DC.
Amen.... I'm with ya
Dull day, huh?
OK, so here is a joke to pass the time....
At the end of the tax year, the IRS office sent an inspector to audit
the books of a local hospital. While the IRS agent was checking the
books he turned to the CFO of the hospital and said, "I notice you buy a
lot of bandages. What do you do with the end of the roll when there's
too little left to be of any use?
"Good question," noted the CFO. "We save them up and send them back to
the bandage company and every now and then they send us a free box of
bandages."
"Oh," replied the auditor, somewhat disappointed that his unusual
question had a practical answer. But on he went, in his obnoxious
way. "What about all these plaster purchases? What do you do with what's
left over after setting a cast on a patient?
"Ah, yes," replied the CFO, realizing that the inspector was trying to
trap him with an unanswerable question. "We save it and send it back to
the manufacturer, and every now and then they send us a free package of
plaster."
"I see," replied the auditor, thinking hard about how he could fluster
the know-it-all CFO. "Well," he went on, "What do you do with all the
leftover foreskins from the circumcisions you perform?"
"Here, too, we do not waste," answered the CFO. "What we do is save all
the little foreskins and send them to the IRS Office, and about once a
year they send us a complete dick."
One thing to take in to consderation is that we need the GoB to sign off on all news releases coming from Belize. I've been told they are are on the same page now, but I am sure TECO management doesn't want to make any waves and is complying with all of their requests/demands.
This will surely result in a slowdown of information coming from the field there.
I am in the camp that believes Belize will be a monster.... it may just take a bit longer for us to all find out.
braveheart.... got it... thanks
I also agree with you on Bill Maher
arstegall,
I did not see the (deleted) post, so didn't understand the reference. I hope the resulting trend continues .... As are you and many others, I am quite long and hoping for a major home run with TECO.
Braveheart,
Perhaps you should read your post... as it starts with
"Kipnocky your correct.."
I hope you're able to understand my point.
I'm wondering why it is "urgent". Can you elaborate? We have been here for a while, waiting patiently. Do you suspect something has changed or accellerated that make the purchasing of shares more of an immediate goal?
Thanks...
Close... we are buying them out !
