and those that close their eyes and stay, lost yesterday, and with no pr, will also today.
happens all the time with a placed stop loss on pinks
willie, if you don't mind me asking, what is your averaged pps?
excellent. As I have said before, "words" have meaning and the "lack of words" have meaning as well. The few 'words" that we get out of this team are enough to give hope, but the "lack of words" are mind blowing. Over the weekend, I read a PR from a company that received $225K to help reorganize, and we supposedly receive $350M (over 100 times) and nothing. As soon as my exit strategy allows, I am out. Even the peeps on this board keep pushing back either the expected PR date or the "explode above .50" date. It is slowly sinking in.
it has worked for me. I have been able to dump half my interest in this stock for a profit. Keep up the good work and I'll be out completely by the end of the week...and for a profit at that.
exactly
why not news this evening
agree. everybody needs to slap that ask.
Manti could you explain to me one more time how to correctly interpret the BUY and SELL Volume columns provided in IHub. I need to make sure that I have it correct so that I can bounce this off a friend of mine tomorrow. Hopefully with your explanation and my friend's tomorrow, I'll be able to finally get it right. We learn something new everyday. Thanks.
Dud, where did you get the info concerning 6.8 M buys and 3.7 M sells? Thanks.
using the charts on ihub, where are the numbers / tallies indicated in the BUY VOLUME and SELL VOLUME columns come from and/or mean?
are repurchases by the company shown as "sells", because it looks that was sell instead of a buy at 9:57?
...full court...
As I have said in several previous posts, I am losing faith in Dean's ability to close this deal to the scale that we (at least me) were originally led to believe. However, there are a few things that keep me from losing faith completely in the stock. The lack of a full course press P&D strategy does lend credence to the legitimacy of this stock. IMO.
Done for the day. Looking forward to reading all the hype later tonight.
I do not know how much simplier I can make my question? First he states that the reason for 28th Aug delay is due to closing the first 4 acq at the same time. Later he states that he needs a $350M loan. But $200M of loan is for acq 5 & 6. So did he have the money prior to 26th Aug for acq 1 - 4? If so, what is the additional $150M for? If he did not have the money, then why say the delay is due to coordinating a closing date for the first 4 acq and not due to lack of funding? Words HAVE meaning, and the LACK OF WORDS have meaning as well. Simple question.
On the 28th of Aug, he PR's about plans to invest $50K and that he has already invested $40K, and yet he does not PR about landing $350M. The $350M loan is 7000 times (or 3500 times depending on number) LARGER than his personal investment in the company and he DOES NOT even mention the $350M...come on. He PR's $50K and not $350M. He closed the $50K, what about the $350M.
Reread the PR. The additional $200M is for (or so the PR says) is for acqu #5 and #6. Not #'s 1 thru 4. So again, what is true? Did he have the money on the 26th of Aug or not? Hard to know what to believe at times.
what about #'s 1 thru 4
moral and ethical? on whose part?
why did he PR that he was closing the acquisitions in Aug? Did he have the funding then? Again, which is true?
Yes, I do have shares and I have done my research, and YES at every opportunity I am now going to exit. Unfortunately, it appears more and more that I may have to exit at a loss...and I don't want to. As for the bashing, as you call it, at least for me, is to help help shed the light of truth on this stock to help prevent someone who from getting into this stock that is currently on the sidelines. Why did the board delete my earlier post? Nothing wrong or misleading in it.
But didn't he say that they were going to close the acquisitions in Aug? Did he have funds then? If he said that he was going to close the acquisitions, and one can infer that he did not have the funds in Aug, if he had the funds now, shouldn't he have said so? What is true?
Why delete the message? Was anything in it not true? He missed the date. No mention of the loan being secured. Again, it comes down to credibility, and I believe that based on the minimal communications that QASP is providing, it is reasonable to question the credibility of this stock accomplishing what is promised. IMO.
good point. I'll take that hit. But didn't it also say "We will do a press release tomorrow of Monday"? I met my obligation until the point where he did not meet his. If we had received a PR by this morning, you would never have known that this exchange had taken place...it would be irrelevant.
seriously, the edits were like "thanks for the hard work", yada, yada. Consider them as "buttering" up phrases....nothing to do with QASP.
My wife says that although she always uses the () to indicate a negative number, she has seen it both ways on/in "official" financial statements for other companies. Negatives as opposed to () are rare. It is her opinion, that a company using a neg sign as opposed to () would not reflect one way or another on the professionalism of the company using the negative.
yep, I believe sometime on Monday.
definition of "long"? Anything longer than 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months? I think that I bought my first shares in July? If necessary, I will explain to you what I mean by "dead" next Wednesday. FYI, I believe that a PR shortly will just confirm the securing of the loan and I am not necessarily expecting the PR to discuss, in depth, the acquisitions. I WANT THE STOCK TO GO UP. If its a $1 before Christmas, my Christmas present to my wife is that she can quit her job!
Northrop Grumman. Interesting. Depending on what actually materializes with QASP, I believe that an argument could be made for a FUTURE connectio between QASP and Northrop Grumman. Just a thought.
I believe that the stock is because the market expected a PR immediately after the loan was secured. The market assumed that no PR means the loan was not secured. Rumors that the "some word" would come out on Wednesday buoyed the stock for one more day. No PR at close on Wednesday was reflected in the stock price on Thursday. What does Friday hold? IMO, the market will open down as the market evaluates the current rumaors of PR at close on Friday or no later than close on Monday. If the price does not recover at all on Friday (stays low or sideways), IMO, the market does not anticipate a PR on Friday. However, Monday will probably be a hugh rise in price with anticipation of "DO OR DIE". No PR at close on Monday...we're dead IMO. However, I believe that if the price and volume starts to accelerate on either Friday or Monday, then, IMO, the market is expecting and PROBABLY WILL RECEIVE a PR. Personally, I anticipate a PR either at close on Friday or pre-market on Monday...just must opinion. Again, I believe that the stock is legit and the close and acquisitions are real...I am just wondering how real and that I would be wise to manage my expectations of/for this stock better. FYI, if you buy or sell QASP on anything that I have said above, then you are not smart.
Colonel Sanders did not start franchising KFC's until age 65. It would have been nice to have gotten in on the ground floor of KFC. Dean's age is not an issue with me.
Her is response that I received from Dean:

easy for him to say. he has his money, one way or the other.
I refer you to an excerpt from Wallstrret Sweeper's post #61160 "...Too many red flags here - broken promises about August 28 date with very sketchy explanations, then this secrecy when it comes to the names of the companies, buyback which never happened, other fluff PRs, etc..."
From the 26 Aug PR, I have capitalized some of the phrases that have raised questions in my mind the more that I think of what is written and what Dean has delivered. ..."The company DOES NOT ANTICIPATE A NEED OR ANY REASON TO RETURN THE CAPITAL MARKETS FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING. We have been very successful in raising the funds needed thus far, and we are confident we can operate quite comfortably WITH CAPITAL CURRENTLY RAISED. This should give shareholders confidence in knowing that our SHARE STRUCTURE WILL LIKELY NOT CHANGE FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. The world economic situation is unpredictable lately as we all know and things could change. That being said, we remain confident.
Also, from the 26 AUg PR, I would like to bring your attention to what Dean said was the reason for the delay in closing the acqusitions (again capitalized for ease of reading) ..."We would like to also update shareholders on the closing of our acquisitions. AS A SINGLE TRANSACTION ON A SINGLE DAY. Doing otherwise would lead to excessive transactional fees and duplication of expenses. With the obvious complications of closing four acquisitions AT PRECISELY THE SAME TIME ON THE SAME DAY, we have to find a day and time that is good for all parties and their support and legal teams. We will be soon choosing a day and time that is acceptable to all concerned. While we tried to MAKE IT ALL HAPPEN FOR FRIDAY, August 28, 2009, it simply is not possible. We will provide an update when it is prudent".
So I big question that I have is what is the reason reason for the delay in closing on Aug 28? Was/is it that all 4 companies could not come together, etc, etc on the 28th or was/is it due to the lack of funding, for example, $350M.
If was due to the lack of money and he did not realize that he did not have the funds until somewhere around the 25th, this is extremely poor planning on his part and he is going to try and managem a conglomerate? Also, if a date and time was the only hold up, it took 4 months to come to a date trhat met everyone's schedule....am I suppose to believe that! 4 months...no one is that busy. And, if we are splitting hairs as some want to do, the recent PR implies that the acquisitions still may not necessarily be completed by mid-Dec. What is the right answer?
I still can't help but ponder this whole idea of which came first...the lack of an agreeable closing date or the lack of funds to close. Something fishy with that whole thing.
I'm rambling now so I'll stop. Not bashing, just lost/losing confidence, but now kinda stuck, and confused as to how to best exit this movie with something to show for my time other than experience.
people risk a lot more for a lot less than $350M.
you are correct, I believe a PR was released that said that.
if don't think that a PR is important and expected at this time, then please explain why the share price is down, and the sell volume is larger than the buy volume. One thing that I have learned is that the market has a certain psychology. I believe that the market, like me, expected a PR. No PR = no reward. I, for one, am disappointed. Not discouraged, just disappointed. I am lowering my expectations for QASP and I think that the sp is reflecting lowered expectations by the market as well. Do you expect a Christmas present on Dec 25th? Has anyone specifically told you that you are getting one on the 25th? For me, no, but I still expect one and would be disappointed if I did not get one.
I have to agree with you. I was initially going to play this as a very long term hold and ride it to the promised land. I do believe that this is a legit company and all, but I am beginning to question several things about it. Even though it is legit, that doesn't mean that Dean will be able to pull things off as smoothly as once thought. May be more difficult for him than I had originally thought (and I believe harder than Dean originally thought as well). So now, I am also looking for an exit strategy and a flip opportunity. Leaning more toward playing this as a flip opportunity as opposed to LT play. One thing is for sure, I would be further ahead right now if I had flipped more than I have in the past with this stock.
