This board would have 5000 fewer posts if Thurston would have never taken that D$%^photo, lol!
The "win/win" comment in that pr immediately got me to thinking this way. a dividend gives the longs an immediate reward without the constant worry of "is the price going to increase or decrease, should I sell or hold". Depending on how/when the deal is announced, it could increase the pps as more people want in to receive a dividend.
Letting Jared run the company is a win for Jared because it let's him complete his dream, and for some people that's more important than the big immediate paycheck. GLTY
Since everyone is postulating on the buyout here's my theory and, it is similar to H-tex's.
EESO is going to be bought out by Berkshire Hathway. They will be bought as a fully owned subsidary keeping thier name and share structure. Jared and management team will stay in place. The purchase price will be given out as a dividend to shareholders. This will allow eeso to cover their butts with share holders in case the share price tanks after they reverse split in order to upgrade to the Nasdaq. This way the shareholders can stay in the company and let their shares turn into longterm gains thus benefitting again....and they lived happily ever after....at least that's how it happened in my dream last night...GLTA
With the exception of the week of 2/2/2009, we have had at least one PR a week on the progress of EESO. How many other pinks, let alone "real" companies do that. I think they are keeping us informed!
I feel constantly asking management for updates is analagous to the little child in the back seat asking dad "how much longer till we get there". It upsets him and takes his mind off the goal of getting the family to the destination safely.
Have patience grasshoppers!GLTA
Isn't that what Warren Buffet likes to do? From reading some of his books, he likes to buy undervalued companies with good buisness models and management team, and just let the management team stay in place and run everything.
Gehngis Kahn used the same buisness model also...but he used more of a "hostile takeover tactic" to gain control of the Company(or in his case city, country,,continent),lol!
Don't remind me of that! I had $2000 slated to buy eeso at .0005 and my transmission broke and needed replaced, lol. It's going to end up being the most costly transmission rebuild of all time, lol. GLTY
I wouldn't call a stock that is up 50% from 19 trading sessions ago, as is eeso, a tanking stock.
Informative post...You've been doing your homework. Thanks
Hey.. it's always good to dream..I'm glad to see a young person like yourself investing already. If I new at 20 what I learned at 30, I'd probably be retired already..GLTY
I'm not POed.. I liked the buyout PR. It showed that someone is interested in the company...and I've seen real numbers..12 Mil for one contract. 10-40 thousand wowgreen distributors, 9 mill in 2008 revenues, 136 mil in 2009 projected revenues(not counting the 12 mil contract), a 5 year 27 mil contract that is most likely going to turn into a 52mil or higher contract..GLTA
He hasn't tied up my money.. I've been here since April 8th and I had planned on being here for the longterm long before there were any buyout rumors...I think there are alot of others in the same boat I am...I just hope it isn't a sinking one, lol! GLTY
didn't I read #109773 about 100 posts ago...maybe it was 200.
Jared never said in the cc or open house that the share price should be $1-$2...He made a comment to the effect of 'would I like to see a share price of $1-$2... yes I would'.GLTA
Regardless of what's happening concerning the buyout, I think it's a good sign that Jared feels the need to hire two VPs. It also shows that Bill White must have been pretty valuable if EESO needs two people to replace him.IMO, GLTA
It may be because we have 13 less posters today that post about eeso.
Abc, thank you for all your efforts in regard to eeso, I appreciate it. GLTY
My guess, if no buy out .25 by end of year due to shorters and bashers keeping it down, but Jared rewards the longs with a .01 divedend for our loyal support. If there's a buyout, .25, a .005 dividend (from the earnings eeso's made year to date), shares in buyout company totaling 15% of the purchase price, and maybe some wrrants thrown in for good measure. The buyout will finalize in mid June. Just a guess.
I was just catching up on todays posts. I didn't realize Jared only had 1 1/2 years of post secondary education (if the information provided is correct).
I read somewhere that some guy named Bill Gates went to Harvard, but dropped out his junior year to start some company.I think it's called "Microsoft" or somethng like that. I don't know if it was very successful. I think they made some money with the MS-DOS computer operating system by licensing it to IBM. I guess he collected a certain percentage of royalties whenever IBM sold or put the MS-DOS OS in a computer. Not bad for a person who didn't complete his post secondary eduction.
I guess there could be worse things in the world than not finishing college.
Disclaimer: My information is only as good as the sources I read and choose to believe. GLTA
Frankie, your right, their not going to release info to just anyone...but it's obvious you don't know who jim bishop is, lol!GLTY
ya, but is the grass their cutting the legal variety, lol
I guess I should have read your post before I replied to worldismine! I guess great minds think alike, lol!
I'm trying to think the opposite...I hope EESO is buying up shares with their 1st quarter profits so they can retire them, hence making any remaining outstanding shares worth more if and when the buyout is completed! Again just another fantasy of mine! GLTY
Abc, thanks for that post. it was very imformative..I find it funny how some people can't grasp this concept, even though they use it everyday in there personal life..The concept being "word of mouth". I find something good whether it's a hunting or fishing spot, a good restaurant, shampoo, a cleaning product, etc., etc. I tell someone else, they say they know someone that could find it beneficial, and so on. Sounds like this is what happened to eeso...good product and word spreads..Thanks for all you've done and continue to do!
JB, C'mon buddy, you have to admit a $12 million contract is good, isn't it? So why the 10 negative posts (that's only since the news release this morning). Please, I beg of you, can you just, for 1 hour, let all of us losers who have invested and beleive in this company have our brief fleeting moment in the sun? Please...
Good news...GLTA.
This bears repeating-

12 million is more than all of 2008 revenues, lol. That's good too and just one contract.
Ken, hang in there. In comparison, it can easily take 6-8 weeks to buy/sell a house, and this is a similar (LOI vs. Earnest money agreement)but more in depth process. GLTY
Yes, I do beleive that or I would not have written it. ABC has provided pretty accurate information to date.GLTY
Why do you say that?
I know, point is he could give out a dividend..so there's a possible reason to stay with this stock...if the buyout happens, it'll be a mute point.
Then why did you post the following in post #104541? "He does not even own .25 cents worth of this company, yet everyone is on his jock".
You know the reasoning behind why he doesn't own the stock. I'm sure you some idea of what insider information is. Yet you make a statement like this. You try to discredit a respected individual by forcing your slanted opinion on others who don't know the reasoning why Abc owns no eeso. That's hitting below the belt.
Can't you get dividends if EESO decides to give dividends to common shareholders(rhetorical question)? Jared said in his last cc that he would like to give out dividends if conditions allowed..
Ace, Thanks for the update much appreciated..I'm sure some people won't be happy as the email time is only 10:50pm..they'll probably expect another one around 01:30am! GLTY
Abc doesn't own any shares of EESO because he talked to his lawyer and it would possibly be a conflict of interest for him to do so....but I'm sure you already knew that being the dd machine that you are. GLTY
I know, I read the post. Gibber made a definitive statement saying abc said there WOULD be a pr, ABC gave an opinion that he believed there would be a pr. Big diference..It bothers me when people change the truth at the expense of others.
Gibber, did ABC state definetively that there would be a PR today? If so, could you refer me to the post #.
Good post..Similar to an earnest money agreement for a residential real estate transaction, but more conditions.
Question- If the buyout is successfull, what happens to any year to date net earnings eeso has made? Do they get absorbed into the buying company? do they get divested as a dividend to shareholders? does Jared keep the earnings for himself? any other scenarios? GLTA
Power, that wasn't the question. Read the post again, then give me one of your intelligent answers.
New topic (I think)- If the buyout completes successfully, what happens to any year to date net earnings eeso has made? Does it get absorbed into the buying company? does it get divested as a dividend to shareholders? does Jared get to keep it for himself? any other scenarios? GLTA
