Any of these selling AMHD biodiesel?
Don't see what this has to do with AMHD. This is no different than if we were on the F discussion board and you posted that GM plans on building 10 M cars next year.
Great for that other company but what has AMHD done for us (actually done that is not some story).
I did review the flier and this is something interesting I found:
5.25 INTERACTIVE PANEL:
FEASIBILITY OF JATROPHA-BASED
BIODIESEL PROJECT
• Economic and production model
• Financing strategy
• Earning carbon credits
Panelists include: Aziz Hirji, CEO
Amelot Holdings, Inc.
and others to be confirmed
Seems funny that he is willing to sit down with a panel and discuss this topic but cannot let his shareholders know any of it. Just what is the financing strategy? Seems like a simple request of our CEO. How exactly to you intend to pay for it. Isn't that what stockholders are supposed to ask?
I agree that biofuels may prove to be a beneficial investment both financially and environmentally. So that being said the majority of the posts and DD talking up Jatropha and the biofuel plans for other comapnies does little to make me sure of the future of AMHD.
If AMHD had spent the last few years talking about gold and how they are going to mine over 100M worth but had no money to actually build a mine, pay personnel or refine the ore would you keep talking about the price of gold at $1000 an ounce? I would hope that you would be asked some pointed questions of "our" company.
I hear talk about who could fund the ventures but where has the funding for the ventures that are supposed to be ongoing (such as the 2000 acres ready for producing 7m of Jatropha in three months) come from? Seems to me if somone had done that a PR would have flown out so fast someone would have gotten papercuts.
I am just sorry that I didn't research this more when I first got in. Dumb me I actually went to the company website. I thought the idea was impressive. Too bad Aziz doesn't even care enough to ensure that it is up to date.
I'm sorry but I cannot see any investment bank or other legit lending company having anything to do with AMHD at this time. Come on, have you read the news lately? We are in for a heck of a credit crunch for years to come. No records, no revenue and a past of failing equals a "thank you very much but the door is that way".
One thing I would like to know is how much debt this comapny already has. Considering they have never made a dime as far as I can tell. (I have tried to find any records but to no avail.)
Stockslayer,
I looked up the address for the National Group of Companies and found this website. I just put it out there for information. I didn't know if this was some type of clearing house to dump stock on the market or a pump and dump office space.
Found this. Thought it was very interesting:

Are they shorting or pumping and dumping? I don't know but here it is. You all know much more than I do.
Where is the proof that this thing is being shorted then?
360 Million shares traded this week. How many of them are shorted? You keep saying that there are 304M shares. I also don't understand how the price can keep going down if someone is forced to buy at the ask. Seems like the ask would go up and up. When someone is selling at the ask (like we have seen this week) the price goes down. That seems simple to me.
I would just like to see some visual evidence that a field exists, plants are growing, personnel are tending the fields. Normally I wouldn't care because I would be getting annual reports or even semi-annual from some. That tends to be sufficient as I can follow the money as well as the mission & vision with projects.
And to answer your other question there are plenty of times that joint ventures appear on websites via some media even if it is just a picture of the two parties at a table signing a contract. Maybe some footage of what they are joining together for.
One thing I have figured out is that penny stocks are penny stocks for a reason. Lot of shifty folks out there and according to many other message boards that I have read recently it doesn't stop with the CEO. I will definitely be much more careful in the future.
I guess you miss my point. We should not have to go to extreme means such as flying down to Costa Rica and finding a plantation somewhere in the middle of the jungle. No addres for it. It should be the responsibility of the company (actually Aziz since that is the company) to ensure that we are well informed. Merco should not have had to hunt him down for an interview. If he cared he could even take some time to answer some of the email sent his way.
Oh well I am just glad that I didn't lose anything in this and thank God that my guys who had bought it before me got out clean to. Thankfully there has been some on here that were not just cheerleading this thing.
I really do hope that those of you holding stock get out clean too. Someone will end up paying though.
I think I would like some more verification of the so called PR's. Where are the pictures/video footage of the 2000 acre fields of Jatropha that will yield us $7M of seed this year (in 3 months if I remember correctly). They don't exist or they would be shown on the website to replace the outdated photos that are there.
I have said this before. Without independent verification (not just phones numbers) and audited books it is all just wasted ink on paper.
I agree with about shorters. I disagree with your statement that they can bring a solid company down. I will agree that they will shut the doors to companies that only put out PR, sell stock into it and have no positive revenue. A solid company will have EPS driving stock price depending on what P/E some want to play with.
What is the EPS for this stock? No one knows. Why? No filings. No public accounting data. Nothing.
One last item. Where is the sheet stating we are shorted to the tune of 300+M? I would like to see it and not just take someones word for it.
Seems like you all know about this short position but I have yet to see any proof. No links to a website. Nothing. If there was such a short as you say then I am sure they have been buying. How long can they short this for anyway?
I keep hearing we need a PR saying this company is being shorted. I don't buy any PR from this company now. In fact there is too much PR. There is no way it can be true. The only thing that is going to save this play is independently verified PR. Not going to happen because there is nothing.
Sold 2/3 of my pot yesterday. Rest of it I'll leave just on the .001% chance something actually happens.
And to those of you that posted and reposted the supposed offer. It doesn't get any worse at pumping in my book. Get real.
I for one would like to see the true value of this company. You say it should be at a penny or higher and while that may be true there are no financials to back it up. And how the heck do we acquire something with no money. I say no money because nothing is available to determine a earnings per share besides a one sided PR.
Doesn't it seem a little strange (to those who think this stock is hot) that we have a lot of PR which requires quite a bit of capital? Where has the revenue streams been? I have a feeling we are going to see the true value of this company soon and a penny will not even be close.
Well said. As I said earlier I think AMHD may have paid for several of these "joint" ventures with stock. Those that received the stock do not really care much for holding it so they are selling in large blocks. They may or may not know when some PR is about to hit.
This makes sense to me as far as the 300M short and the 300M extra outstanding shares.
I think that if this is what happened then it is possible that this company may have some future as long as AMHD wasn't just paying for PR and nothing else.
I know that there has been a lot of research on this one but I have yet to see any proof tha anything is really happening. No revenue sheets. If this slide is to stop I still think this company as a responsibility to the shareholders to "show me the money" (to borrow a phrase). This isn't a startup. They have been around for awhile.
You can only bleed so long.
Agree with you there. I also would like to see it.
I guess I was a little behind in the posts.
Okay this may be off topic but I have to ask anyway: As I said in earlier posts I am still learning some of the nuances of penny stocks such as charting and the effect of shorting but something keeps sticking in my head (Actually I have a few).
1. I have reviewed a lot of the PR and DD (please no arguments about symantics or twists). Here is my problem. I have no idea how we are paying for all of the ventures unless major portions of stock have been turned over to the various interests. Seems like this would answer a lot of the shorting and dilution concerns by both sides. Yes in the short term it does reduce the overall value of our shares but may pay for itself in the long term.
2. Now this question is somewhat delicate. Just consider this a little crtical thinking from my shore patrol days. I understand the pump and dump scenario. Is there a such thing as a pump/bash and dump scenario. I only ask this because in reviewing a large number of old posts here and from othe boards it seems like people actually talk about stock price rising when it starts to get bashed.
3. Be careful on knocking those who have questions or have a different point of view. They could be watching you back and you fail to realize it.
I have also seen many posts about integrity and I hope all understand the true meaning of the word.
Honor Courage Commitment (My Navy core values that will guide me forever. Retired today and saluted my flag one last time in uniform.)
Anyway just my thoughts.
Merco,
Just looked at this chart and it looks like the section you refer to only compares the first 9 months of 2001 to the first 9 months of 2002. (Jan-Sept 2001/2002). Looks like 2002 was actually better.
(Sorry if this was already addressed. Lots of posts to read)
Merco,
Appreciate your research. Just can't figure out how you got there. Can you post the links.
Guess this goes back to my point on the visual. This information should all be on the website. Get rid of the old and bring in the new items. Update the news and show all the parteners.
I think you have to have to be able to answer tough questions in any business venture. I could pose this for your consideration. Wouldn't it be nice if all companies were completely open with their stockholders and there were no surprises? People have asked some good questions. I am sure a lot of Enron, Bear Stearns (the list goes on) stockholders wished someone had dug into the books and found out the situation before it was too late.
That being said needless bashing is wrong. Post the pictures and the books and it will stop. I would like to sell at a much higher level also and feel good about it.
Been doing a lot of reading with with some points being made on both sides. I consider myself a critical thinker looking at both the good and bad and I can see why there are differences here. Someone mentioned "show me" in an earlier message. Since I grew up in Missouri before the Navy called I have to agree.
I have asked several times for visual proof. I still do not understand how there cannot be one single picture of the fields, trees, seed bags, or any of the revenue producers. Nothing. That does worry me some. I think it should woory everybody. All of this arguing and wondering could be solved by a updated visual report on the website and independently audited books. Pictures of what is actually going on. If 2000 trees are actually ready to provide $7M in revenue in three months seems to me Aziz should be proud of this especially after all the early setbacks. I know I would be videotaping this success.
I do have another question now though. How many employees does the company have and where are they? Has anybody talked to them?
Merco,
Not sure why you are not letting us know the big name. Is it insider trading info? I only ask because you said you are buying more on Monday. Good info needs to be put out.
Merco
I would like to hear if there is any information about some of the questions that I have posted, such as:
We live in a digital age. Seems like everyone has a website of some type that they update with some picture, videos or what have you. Why in the world would a company that wishes to capitalize on whatever business arena they are in not advertise this? Where are the pictures of the corporate headquarters, pictures of the board, CEO etc? Where are the digital videos of the fields and the ongoing processes that are being put in place to develop this oil of the future?
Plus the obvious question of how do the books look and who has seen them?
Looking forward to your report.
Phil,
Thanks for the answer. Makes sense in that case. Just thought it was a very strange transaction.
I also have a lot to learn about the penny stock market. This is my first one. (Actually I had some stock in Interliant years ago that I took a loss on. It got dropeed down to the OTCBB. Bought $1000 worth. Worthless after a year when they went bankrupt but at least I was able to see it happen.)
John
Just to ease some minds I did not or would never hedge any type of retirement income on this or any other penny stock. I had a spare $1000 that I took a chance with. I got my $1000 back so at worst I am even (minus some commissions). Made a lot of money through the "normal" investments through the years so I am set (The Navy paid me some very nice bonuses). Of course always looking to make more and that is how I ended up with this stock through a friend.
That being said the stocks I do have I do want to rise in value. I do have an issue because I am sensing that there are real concerns with this stock and so far no one has answered my question.

21 years of operating nuclear reactors and being in charge of 100's of young men and women (very smart ones at that) has given me a lot of insight. People like to advertise the good and hide the bad. Funny thing here is that the only advertising is a piece of paper (which you or I could write given enough time). I am not calling anyone out. I am sure that many actually believe in this stock. But I think that we all (shareholders/owners) have to hold them accountable. We should demand the answers.
Like I said I made my money so I am not concerned for the short time as I tend to invest long term anyway. I just want to KNOW that this company is legit. I understand trial and error and the if at first you don’t succeed try and try again. But we still have to have facts. Who has seen any accounting data? How much actual money was made last year? What is the debt amount? There are a lot of questions and you all have to agree with this.
This is not to be and endorsement of any side. I have been reading this board for a few months so I like to think that I am the independent thinker. Telling me to have faith is one argument that I hear but with money faith doesn’t apply.
One other thing can someone tell my why they would spend $10 for 5000 shares and at the same time pay $10 commission on that trade? That does not sound like smart trading to me.
Sorry for the length.
Overachiever, poorme & scalig. Thanks for the information. Makes you wonder why anyone is holding this stock. Time to take my profits and head elsewhere where integrity means something.
Can someone that has been talking this stock up answer my question from earlier. Here it is again:
I currently hold 1.5 million shares bought at the .0005 mark. Sold some at .0020 so now I am playing with house money as it were. I do want this company to succeed (I retire from the Navy after 21 years so a big nest egg from this would be nice) but I am some misgivings. I do think that some valid points have been brought up. Here are some of mine.
1. Why does the website not include "any" pictures to show off these grand plans. (To be honest the pictures that are shown I could do in a storage shed with some rented equipment).
2. If you all actually believe this company will succeed and is primed for a major blowout why do you care if some talk the price down. Seems to me it just creates excellent buying for a long term goal.
I want some independent verification and rehashing the same PR is not doing it. Hopefully this will make it to the CEO and if they are on the up and up and they do care about the stockholders we will see something. Can you imagine the PR and the stockprice after and INDEPENDENT audit firm confirms numbers.
Just my 2 cents.
