760x increase from its low in 3 years. GPGI/BORK from low of $.005 (.001 as GPGI) to $3.80, $4?, $5?
$dimes if Zimmi is large BONANZA site.
If we take the lab analysis done by our competitors (black sands -not virgin gravel on Pampana, and diamonds on Sewa), there is incredible wealth in the sands and alluvial deposits especially imo on the Pampana. By there and our own projections the potential is $10s-of-millions/year.
If the operations grow then $100s-of-millions. The river sands and alluvial gravels are rich with gold, diamonds, rare earths, and titanium. Of course one has to find the correct area, but apparently large sections are rich in profitable minerals/metals.
What's happening to rare earths is a once in a lifetime event.
Most US rare earth companies went belly up because prices/demand were too low. That has dramatically changed in the last 4 years and especially in the last 2. It has take gold over 10 years to increase 10x. Rare earths only 2 years and the increase in still escalating.
China apparently controls 93 - 97% of the rare earth production/market.
Dasily, have you called Etrade? or Charles Schwab?
Isn't Etrade offering 500 free trades or $500 or something like that - be sure to ask. But I know they handle pinksheets and know about BORK.
Twiford worked hard to get us this merger. That's what he wanted all along from June 2010 with then Bourque & JBIT. It took him till to Sep/Oct to convince John Bourque.
So he could of just given up, but he didn't. He believed in the Kryron technology. Why all this uptick in price did not happen last year is puzzling to me, since the kryron armor was as good last year.
Maybe around $4s will be a temporary top?
Until news or hot rumor come out.
JoeDaddy, first BORK needs to win:
Ceradyne, Inc. Receives $2.37 Billion XSAPI/ESAPI Body Armor 5 Year.
Right now they have $2.37 Billion on BORK.
$3.48 already after 30 minutes of trading!!!
This is crazy a frenzy.
All Doug indicated was he was considering it and taking small steps on feasibility. So far Doug and John have considered everyone of my suggestions and even implementing some or planning to.
Billetman, did you not receive the merger proposal packet and the chance to vote?
The merger happened Nov 2010 and Bork became official on Feb 7 and was proposed in Sep 2010.
You could go to Globalplatinumonline.com and read the last 4 posts/updates.
Someonelse recommended reading post 1076 on this board.
Spec, titanium is not a rare earth.
Our competitor based lab analysis of dredge blank sand concentrates sees $thousands/ton. Say we have next year 1000 tpu capacity/hour. 1000 tpu * 8 * 100 days = 800,000 tons. Could be worth alot. Better alot than just throwing it away.
Nunaka, how funny our rare earth competitor is just now moving there custom built dredges(from Idaho) onto the Pampana. They are talking being productive next year.
Hmmm -- I guess SGCP is so imcompetent that they won't be able to do any with their leases on the Pampana for another 10 years.
Yep I totally agree - someonelse can do it in one year, SGCP just maybe after a decade.
How gullible are you Nunaka?
Penny, I'm assuming they are waiting for results from Zimmi and the 3 (equiv to four 50 tph) dredges. Probably all 3 have been extracting "pay gravel" for at least 2 full weeks by now.'
Imo, a lot depends on the Zimmi results and future prospects.
The rare earths (prices increased 10x in 2 years) make going back to the Pampana a priority for SGCP.
The Pampana River Basin with its gold and RARE EARTH metals may be one of the greatest financial national treasures for Sierra Leone.
If i remember correctly(??), new company had at least 50 million shares to sell. So 50 million * $2 = $100 million in funding. Now it might take them a while to sell even 20 million shares.
Wasn't it like 50 million shares? Anyone know?
FR/PR posted at end-of-month.
Sure is beginning to feel like it imo.
Break $2 million in trades today?
Yesterday we broke $1 million.
WOW
Gem, Sagan: From SGCP website - Field Report Tab
February 9, 2011: see lab results table: Certificate of Analysis
RARE EARTH
Y - Yttrium
plus titanium.
============
Pampana is the motherlode of rare earths from a dredgers perspective!
---
Pampana black sands contains from competitor analysis:
Ce - Cerium
Dy - Dysprosium
Er - Erbium
Eu - Europium
Gd - Gadolinium
Ho - Holmium
La - Lanthanum
Lu - Lutetium
Sm -Samarium
Tb - Terbium
Y - Yttrium
Doug is considering it. So its a future thing. Maybe in a future FR (for next year). Or as I suggested to them with a 2 year horizon.
What is wrong with some of you?
SGCP has an incredible opportunity to really increase revenues. Rare earths are RARE!!!!
The rarest of the rare earths prices are exploding.
Gold is going down. Diamonds are plentiful. Farming takes MONEY.
SGCP is already dredging and the lab results show they are recovering rare earths and titanium. SGCP has leases on the Pampana already.
$4s??? Maybe I've been to conservative???!!!???
$4s??? Maybe I've been to conservative???!!!???
Properly, no just a riverbarge (rent as needed) out to the Ocean.
It really depends on who they parnter with.
Rare Earths are very limited and SL has some of the rarest of them
Gold is a commodity. Diamonds are plentiful.
China has an almost monopoly on rare earths - especially the rarest of them - for their growing industrial/military uses.
Rare earths keep increasing in price
-- the rarest of the rare earths prices EXPLODE!!!!! & SL has these and SGCP can dredge them on current rivers but especially on the black sands of Pampana.
$2.45 already!!! Wow
WOW
rare earths: Bunny, this is the 1st year that SGCP could consider it. Before they just did not have enough dredge capacity.
Also the competitor has shown it is viable. Plus China's almost monopoly has helped alot.
Doug is looking into a potential partnership [b]I think.
So the management isn't bad. This is really the 1st time/year they could even begin to consider doing something with rare earths.
***rare earths 10x increase in 2 years!!!! and are projected to increase much higher.
Gold what maybe .3x in 2 years?
Diamonds what maybe .25x
Food what maybe .2 x
SGCP is already dredging the rare earths and titanium and just throwing it away as waste!!!!!!!!!!!
SL has some of the rarer of the rare earths. SGCP could be junior partner shipping/barging the rare earth sands to the major partners EXISTING processing facility somewhere in Africa.
As stated why waste what could be worth $tens-of-millions/year. If rare earths continue it exponential rise in price, next year todays $tens-of-millions would be worth $hundreds-of-millions.
Right now they are just throwing it away.
From a money viewpoint (and increasing of price of an asset) rare earths is the GROWTH area. I think for the last 3 years it has been increasing at 4x/year in price.
China has been buying up almost all rare earth miners for the last decade worldwide for use internally. China has close to a industrial monopoly.
Good point if investors continue to buy over $500,000 in stock/day, the company can easily raise the $millions it needs by selling BORK stock. This something that could not be done in the GPGI days - not enough buyers.
Should be a very good week and price a good chance of hitting $3.
What happened to Grawsha, who use to post 20 - 30 messages a day?

Bunny I'm sharing it here, because I already suggested the idea to the company management. So far they have been very receptive to my suggestions.
Let's see what happens. Look the Australian company has ZOOMed on rare earths and they are still over 1 year from processing it.
US is gearing up in California and Colorado.
Australian company I think has increase 20x in one year as they gear up their rare earths mine.
Can't let China strangle the entire industrial globe.
I still say the big danger (now that BORK is a public company) is buyout by one of the bigger defense contractors - say Lockheed-Martin, Boeing, or Northrop Grumman.
As BORK becomes "known" throughout the Industry. One article by Army Times/Military Times and ALL will know.
Looks to me $2.25 touched before end-of-day
Sagan I recommende to the company a JV with a 2 year horizon.
Some company apparently already has the industrial complex connections/infrastructure. SGCP could piggy back. 30% - 40% of a lot is still better than "throwing it away"
Wow over $1 million invested in BORK today!
WOW!!!
Sagan why not (no I don't know), but a competitor just raised over $680,000 because they claim they can and are on the Pampanas.
B4, the company can ship the tons of "sand" after the diamonds and gold are extracted (maybe an actual ship/barge) to a smelter. That way SGCP could get almost immediate return on dirt that otherwise would be discarded. Who knows maybe the discarded dirt is worth as much as the gold and diamonds (10x increase in gold == $15000 ounce and rare earths are still going up).
Anyway apparently most of the rare earths worth dredging are concentrated on the Pampanas.
rare earths in black sands of Pampana: Lanthanum, Scandium, Thallium, Cerium, Dysprosium, Hafnium, Lutetium, Niobium, Neodymium, Praesodymium, Tantalum and Zircon
and in SL other rivers. Plus titanium.
China almost has a monopoly on rare earths so what is in SL is very important source.
There will be pullbacks between information lulls until the first major contract comes in.
But Ceradines stock price is probably a good indicator for where BORK will be with a couple of years - maybe higher if kryron takes off in other industrial applications.
Rare earths are what SGCP should include into their dredging/mining-all-year mix. Sierra Leone is one of the few places on earth that has significant amounts of rare earths and titanium. JMHO
HONG KONG — Rare earth prices are reaching rarefied heights.
Rahman Roslan for The New York Times
The facility in Malaysia would be the world's largest rare earth refinery.
World prices have doubled in the last four months for rare earths — metallic elements needed for many of the most sophisticated civilian and military technologies, whether smartphones or smart bombs.
And this year’s increases come atop price gains of as much as fourfold during 2010.
Even without contract news - could very well hit $3 soon.
Since the potential is $hundreds-of-millions in US/Nato military contracts. This armor is FAR superior and its lighter!
