did the career thing long enough.

exwannabe, FTM...
would very much appreciate your comments on CP's latest post.
Dew...do you have any comment about Brekken saying the combined P2 groups understated the effectiveness, as referenced today at NYAS? would you expect a guy like Brekken to be careless about making such a statement?
losing track of how many times our 30-day chart has looked like this!
i guess Brekken can't hit it out of the park either :)
PPHMownsME from downtown!!!!!!!!
and, btw, the biotech indexes are UP today
very, very disappointing. tustin throws bones to traders, but never to longs.
we going to hold $2.00 permanently? how about today!?
i suspect what IR means is that shareholders here need to remain patient. if they can't, perhaps this isn't the right stock for them at this time.
there. how's that?
cheynew... unfortunately, i have several other bios down like this today. all of the ones which shot up recently are tanking.
is it true that when the Phillies lose on the road, you guys go down to the airport and boo bad landings?
jeez
pphm was my best-performing biotech today
by a comfortable margin
ouch
maybe next year will be our year...
if they'd just do a partnership and get it over with,
1. we'd get institutional ownership right away
2. we'd get press, so the masses who have not heard of the science would be reached en masse immediately
3. the conspiracy theories and speculation would mercifully stop
it's all about institutional ownership. pphm has not convinced the pros yet. given the apparent progress on the scientific front, that points to lack of respect for the BOD, methinks.
so far, today's pattern is just like monday's, when in went down a bit on low volume, spiked to 2.43 on a million shares, then drifted back down to flat on crap volume. rinse and repeat, traders making some cash.
there's no tellin' what the agendas are of the experts who show up here from time to time, who are hyper-active, full of insights, and then...vanish.
several make loads of good points...may have inside info, and then, poof..gone. does anybody here think that only the bashers around here might be being paid by conspirators?
can't worry about any of the carpetbaggers.
this is the lowest-volume open in a long time
accumulation?
why not something simpler, like
Trader #1: Hey, Phil, I need another $10,000 so I can take the Mrs. to Bermuda for a coupla' days. Can you help me do that PPHM thing again?
Trader #2: Sure...it's worked all those other times for 10 years, so why not... and I still owe ya' for ICPT and Imclone! I'll never be able to make those up to you!
amazing how many times that works, isn't it?
pphm...the gift that keeps on giving...
Gene...pre-market action doesn't make me think there's a roche buyout announcement forthcoming today...
where can i get some of what you guys are drinkin'?
looks like the sole reason for the roadshow this week was to make the point repeatedly that bavi is a legitimate immune system playa... if they have begun to convince the scientific community at large, it should raise the floor while trials continue.
we need to hear it's legit and accepted as true/valid from non-PPHM entities, and people other than MLV, Roth, et al.
got a lot of work to do if we're gonna have "$4.00 by the end of the week".
back to $1.?? till some partner writes a check.
if there isn't something stunning in the liver info, i don't see how we stay at this level unless a first real partner is announced shortly. the stuff presented so far is years away from P3. without good info within a few days, i expect us to be back under 2.00, and we'll be beaten up all over again.
can anybody explain what the pre-market vs opening action is all about? it it somebody artificially getting the price up on miniscule volume early so they can immediately short 100,000 shares and make a quick $10,000 covering when they push it down?
will a pro please explain that nonsense?
Denise...
your taste in music is off the charts...the best
4 shares at 2.24 ah...
yuck yuck
'they' are actually sticking their finger in my eye.
maybe DewDiligence will convince AF he should write a nice article about PPHM's new science discoveries soon, and that'll take care of it!
with all the new studies and validation, i cannot figure out why we're at this price when all you need to do is do an ipo to get a 700 million market cap, unless it's just the hedgies workin' it :)
i find some comfort there after days like the last few...
And Lucy pulled the football away aGAIN!
very disappointing price action.
that wasn't an IB jumping in....
institutional ownership needs to increase more before we'll sustain a run, and since it doesn't update instantly, we won't know for sure when they're buckled in. i'll admit it could be any time now based on last week's volume, but after all this time, i'm not about to assume anything about pphm...
at least a couple of regulars are out shopping for new cars...
don't expect a sustained run this week...we're still not on the radar of most of the entities who make stocks move.
2.40/2.55 on fidelity
except your opinions are not based on current science/discoveries. if you're not interested, that's fine, of course, and i know others here share your view. some of us remain open-minded, however.
When Feuerstein did his scheduled hatchet job the other day, he said PPHM keeps changing what they say their antibody does...and that now that immunotherapies are in vogue, they've begun to say bavi is an immuno agent.
if he cared to be accurate, he'd have disclosed that pphm said it acted on the immune system back in 2006...it's just taken this long to figure out why.
so i guess the scientists here know a lot more than the KOLs who have joined pphm over the past year or so. and Blackrock, and the folks who bought the preferred shares last month, and so on.
got that right.
PPHM has numerous presentations this week surrounding early-stage clinical trials in a variety of cancers with bavituximab in combination with approved treatments, where they will claim to show significant improvements over the approved treatments alone. either it will be well-received and boost the share price, or it will be ignored.
i can certainly say with confidence that, even if it's well received in the scientific and financial communities, it will be trashed here :)
the fact that there are outrageous statements made by some PPHM posters has nothing to do with whether or not the drug is gaining credibility in the scientific community. trashing the drug/company because of message board posts is ridiculous.
