Bedrocan #4961X Dec. 12
Hundred Percent. Health Canada ( minister philpots ) noted there were more changes coming to the ACMPR . Those could happen any day. And rec regulations will be mulled over. This exemption is huge. Cgc will be hitting the ground running at any significant market shift

Re: Four Character Stock Symbol Reservations
TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”) is providing guidance with respect to its stock symbol reservation procedures. Currently, a stock symbol (a “Root Symbol”) must consist of not more than three letters of the alphabet. However, the Exchange is now giving listed issuers and applicants the option to reserve Root Symbols that consist of four letters of the alphabet. The Exchange anticipates that four letter Root Symbols will commence trading by the end of the fourth quarter of 2016.

Canopy Health Innovations - Cannabis, Research and Intellectual Property Creation
SMITHS FALLS, ON, Dec. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - Canopy Growth Corporation (TSX: CGC) ("Canopy Growth" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the formation of the cannabis research incubator, Canopy Health Innovations Inc. ("CHI").
The planning and implementation of the business strategy for CHI began in the summer of 2016, and CHI was formally incorporated as a private company in August 2016. CHI will focus on developing and researching clinically ready whole plant cannabis drug formulations and dose delivery systems, with the ultimate goal of validating diversified treatment options for Canadians and for patients and consumers in other jurisdictions where treatment with cannabis is federally lawful. CHI plans to undertake a combination of exploratory studies and early stage clinical testing to identify, develop and validate products aimed at disrupting the market for a variety of existing pharmaceutical product categories, and then commercializing those products through licensing or other arrangements.

anyone know why, for the past ten to fifteen minutes its been trading 0.15 below higher bids and lower asks?
So in this article, it's about Ireland. Nothing about Canopy specifically, except, the editor decided to use a photo from Tweed processing shop. The Media really is our best volunteer advertiser.

Hanford City Staff Research Marijuana Cultivation Facilities
Posted on December 1, 2016 by Catherine Doe
Mata and Sever took a reconnaissance mission to Tweed in Smiths Falls and Bedrocan in Toronto to gather more information before attempting to write city regulations concerning the cultivation of medical marijuana. The purpose of the trip was also to gather more information so the council members could make an informed decision on whether or not to approve similar facilities in Hanford.

Quote from Tweed email:
Hi,
Like we said last Friday, good things come in threes, regardless of the order. We're pleased to let you know Paisley No. 2 is also now available for sale (Paisley No. 1 is arriving soon and Paisley No. 3 is also back in the shop).
This phenotype’s hue is a mixture of Paisley No. 1's light green and Paisley No. 3’s shockingly dark purple. Paisley No. 2 has the sweetest scent of the three phenotypes, with the same pleasant and tart notes as Paisley No. 1 but with the addition of mellow hints of grape.
Paisley No. 2 is an indica-dominant hybrid priced at $6.
You can get the full scoop on Paisley No. 2 in the Tweed Shop.
Here's to Future Growth.
I think your absolutely right. We have very fortunate issues here. There's so much great things going on, it's a task to keep up. Like you point out, there are still further improvements to be made to the ACMPR. ( products, delivery methods, etc) I was expecting those to be made in November, but now that it's past and I think I see a bigger picture, the delay is understandable. I think there is some sort of comparative analysis going on at Health Canada right now betwixt the potential regulations for MMJ and RMJ. By the way, I'm still a great fan of Bedrocan as a patient and as an investor. All we here from the suits and stethoscopes is " there are no clinical trials", " no standards of dosage ". " no double blind studies".
And therefore, no DIN. And you know what, they're right. Then I look at the R and D at CGC, the research project at McGuill, Brazil... on and on and on. When all those ducks line up, MMJ and Bedrocan will have tremendous much long term value for CGC in my opinion.

I hope we get some information today. It's no accident that the age restriction was all in news this past week. This looks like sideways uncertainty.
No announcement is Due today. The Task Force is required to submit its report to the Government, Specifically the Office of Health Minister , Jane Philpots by the end of today. Once the has report has been reviewed by the Government, it will then be made public ( in whatever capacity that means).
Absolutely. the best thing Canadians have initiated is an open conversations on the subject. Canada will be the ones that Say hey, we did it right. Here's the data ,

Should there be a minimum age for recreational pot?

A federal task force is expected to recommend one to cabinet. Open lines with Dr. Jeff Blackmer of the Canadian Medical Association.

Perhaps GTEOD (Good Til End Of Day) orders as opposed to GTC (Good Til Close) orders?
My question is: what impact will the report have on the Board of Directors. When no one thought the Liberal Party would win, much less a Federal Majority, CGC moved to acquire Bedrocan, in the case the Recreational Cannabis wouldn't be legalized, and a lot more Canadians would have to plead with Doctors. Now, we find ourselves waiting for the unimaginable. I'm not concerned very much with what the markets will do, although I do find it entertaining. My guess? A little hype for a few trading days and then the dust settles on whatever the new recommendations actually mean fiscally.
For me , the report is important because it gives CGC a "clearer" picture as to what legalization may be like. It's the next stage of critical strategizing for the Board of Directors. Like the beginning of the Playoffs. What will the recommendations be? How will CGC operate within those loosely bound pages.
See the numbers in that article? 500 thousand kg! 25% earned by Canopy @ $7/ gram. Even with downward price pressure, it is significant growth. Not to mention international, which could easily match or exceed Canadian Demand.
Canada’s Task Force on Marijuana Legalization and Regulation will deliver its report to the ministers of health, justice and public safety by the end of November, Radey Barrack, spokesman for MP Bill Blair, parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, said in a Nov. 25 e-mail. The report will be released once the ministers have had a chance to review the recommendations, he said.

There is a majority in the financial sector that is still holding up the taboo by: not covering the industry with due diligence, and steering clients away from the Canadian MJ Industry. But wait, give it a few quarters, and the tides will turn. As the industry shifts to greater normalcy , models will better reflect traditional consumer trends, and they may want to take a second look.
Financial Post: Canopy Growth enters German marijuana market by buying distribution network MedCann

17, I believe, will be like the evasive 4.20. It was the resistance of mockery, that the sector and its investors expectations were "high". Well, 17 is the resistance of doubt. Halted even, just after. Once the flowers from all Of CGC footprints are in full bloom, we may need another decimal place.
Hmmmm? How long do you think the opposition in parliament, the media and the public will tolerate "in due course. "? I think the media will squeeze the information out of it. I don't think they will be able to keep the report hush hush.
? I didn't know that was a MeddCann deal? Well then, I stand corrected
So far, MeddCann Access has been the only Dud, although some may say Bedrocan is also. I disagree. I think the arrangements with XIB was specifically for the purpose of making better decisions for the corporation in these contexts
Pharmacy distribution! Great! Now we wait for exponential Growth as the people get more awareness
HeyBuddy! Thanks for the message! Haven't heard from you since waaay back? $3 range. Welcome back to the board. We could really use your differing perspectives.
About the strains and names, I don't think LP's, CGC specifically has anything to worry about in that area. If anything CGC is paving the way to clarity. Through its extensive R&D programs at Smith Falls, CGC has discovered most strains named on the underground market today are mislabeled, for origin and content. Not only that, CGC is working with DNA genetic to improve the characteristics of the best "known " strains!
Cannabis is getting the 5 star treatment over here. Bedrocan is Awesome! And Tweed is fixing the supply shortage issue! There just never seems to be enough for the patients! Did you know Leafs By Snoop sold out in less than 24 hrs and Tweed hit over 1 thousand orders that day! Wow! Talk about Demand!
Glad to see your back just in time for the next chapter. We need your foiled perspective. Investors here have their heads "high" in the clouds. Hey, did you know the sp hit $17! Crazy, huh? Remember way back in Vietnam when Greengold and surfer girl were predicting that, and you were predicting $0.25? Well, we don't always get them right. Welcome back Awesome!
It looks like the Task Force will report by Wednesday.

3 paragraphs into this report, the writer completes his headlines statement that president Obama "will sign an executive order", with "so predicts Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson,".
The chances are there, but I think this article is a fluff piece. It refers to a NY Times article from August 2016, and a Washington Times article from March 2016. Both articles couldn't create any more interest than that of speculation. Without further evidence of solid policy movements, I categorize this article as heavy speculation.
I don't think so. I think Mrs Emery made her petition to Health Canada on her views of Legalization. And the response she got is what she posted. A formal Letter Head repeating the Governments mandate, to Regulate, and restrict. Who will be surprised if the Task Force recommends measures that include regulations and restrictions? Not me. I will be surprised it they don't.
