Tweed now has the top 3 or 4 largest cannabis production facilities on the planet. it is sick, what we added today is larger than any other LP, it is larger than Aphria or Aurora
it is true that ACB has the most tried and the most tested growing techniques....but all that trying and testing and their buds still suck, that is why CMED got bought out, while they were creating patents Tweed was becoming a market leader - seriously, I wouldn't brag about buying out a group or retards that had 17 years head start and lose the race, lol
I love the BC Tweed deal, it is like we reproduced an Aphria or an Aurora Sky, but with very little shareholders capital employed. The deal is certainly cost us less than 1 million shares of dilution....but it is 66% of over 3 million sq. ft of production space, 1.3 already licensed - and it comes with experienced partners...
21.5% Bakerstreet is getting stronger - love the dedicated breeding facilities, that is where the real value is going to grow
a decent look at our competition when it comes to pain management.....
yesterday I bought over 1700 shares of WEED and I have no plans on selling it, just hopes of buying more at better prices.....
since Jan. 2, at the opening it was $30.69, since then the price of WEED has gone down over 10%, but my portfolio has seen gains
but I just feel everything is different now, although the price is lower the corporation is fundamentally more valuable today than it was at the beginning of the year.
BMO financing, they got BC Tweed up and running, genetics transfer to Alicaliber......and the distance to legalization was halved.....
just another catalyst in front of us.....anyways there is Alicaliber, although that is a supply agreement and not our own production.....who is to say which is better? The value in Canopy Growth Corporation is their efforts at gaining increased supply diversity as time goes on, they control the largest and most diverse cannabis supply chain on the planet
do you have a source?
so it looks as if the SAQ put in 6 orders for a total of 64 tons a year. @ 12 tons that is 3/16 or .1875 - 18.75% provided by WEED
if you take 64 tons a year and divide it by the fraction of Canada's population that live in Quebec you have 265 tons a year for Canada....
but that is just the first year of use I suppose, Canada estimates the market to grow to 450 tons annual within a few years.... $450 million dollars in tax revenue at the LOW, LOW price of just $1 a gram!!!!
Use that money to pay off the cops, few years everything will be groovy, pie is getting sliced up real nice, WEED will have premium grade edibles, extracts, beverages, vape pens and who knows what else....margins will be fat, industry will be massive, and there will remain massive international growth potential
Bruce Linton said thanks for the hemisphere as Bedrocan inked it's deal, clipped at the nuts....bought Mettrum and it is all over! Thank goodness for those two deals!
In the early days of this industry it would have been easy to argue that Tweed, Bedrocan Canada and Mettrum were the three most valuable corporations, now we call that WEED
oh I just love the hypocrisy. I remember when Bruce said he wants a list of US federal laws he is allowed to break, but you got to buy up former congressman, they are the ones with the list is seems
well fine then, while I wait this morning i am going to go chip away at the ice mountain in my drive way.....have a nice day....I am sure Canopy Growth Corp will have a fantastic day because it is Wednesday which must be awesome if you work at Canopy Growth Corp!
well ok, when it was under $24 i was really excited, and then it was anxious as I had to wait and talk to this guy at the bank, and that took a while, and then i was a little sad to see the price move up, and then I went to the spa and I was super relaxed, smoked joints before and after so it was really nice. Like I had an extremely decent day yesterday, but throughout it all I wanted the price to stay down and it kept going up....
today I think I am just really anxious....I want to know how much I will need to pay for the stocks I am going to buy this morning....and I should eat, I drank too much coffee and smoked too much joints, not enough food.
I think this stock is overvalued, but I will buy some anyways, I think people should sell this morning, because they could sell some to me, that would be nice.
Stock investing is a funny thing....I got no debt except for my small low interest mortgage....cars paid off, 6 figures in the bank - and still I can feel like a loser because I miss out on some shares
what this stock needs is low, low prices for a while......people need to stop talking smack about how Bedrocan sucks, we all know they suck....Bruce clipped their nuts at the start of a revolution
Maybe it is time to gather up funds he says.....fack....because I did call the bank and I gathered up $49,611 to be used this morning....I made the call the second the price dropped under $25 yesterday, fack.....
all of y'all need to stop putting in buy orders, I am sick of this schit!
that came out today? that is very interesting...as an analyst his job before was to evaluate the entire industry and underwrite capital raises....I can't imagine there is another person in the world that knows as much about the financial situation in the Canadian cannabis industry.
very interesting indeed.
this is insanity, the volatility is epic
the stock price went under the line, I wonder what are the chances it will ever go above that line again....
this action line, it moves upwards about $2.50 a month....at the current price that is over 10% a month......very strong growth line, i doubt this investment would sustain that level of growth for any length of time....
$2.50 a month....or another way of looking at that 'action line' is it represents a rise of about $500 million dollars of value per month.....or $6 billion a year, meaning the market value of CGC would double in less than a year if it were to keep up with that line
nice how a graph is a visual representation of math.....line doesn't look too impressive, but it is a steep hill to climb!
it is nice to see Canopy's influence continuously spread outward into new markets, organizations and institutions...the list of people involved and the locations where Canopy related work is being done continues to grow
well where the CBD for this study is source does remain open to debate at this point for sure.....but it is just CBD from what I have read....
it looks to me like CGC would be a good partner because they do have a real supply of CBD products in Europe already....and maybe Beckley has the connections to set up a University study ...
well that was something we heard that CHI was working on I agree, but that was before this merger....also before this merger Beckley was working on a project with Exeter University for the nicotine addiction thing....
this is a good thing, partnership with a university human trials for CBD medication...
it is all right there on two different websites......Canopy Beckley health and Exeters....
sure, that is just other cannabis related brain imaging research project Beckley is working on.....might not have anything to do with the cannabis related brain imaging research project that Beckley is working on with CGC
sure
yeah - it just took me a couple minutes and a google search - the partnership's first human study is right here.
http://beckleyfoundation.org/science/collaborations/dr-celia-morgan-exeter-university-uk/
I like it that we are getting feet on the ground in England - good stuff.
we just joined a partnership with Exeter University.....people trying to stop smoking I guess, 60 people - CBD treatments (provided by Canopy I suppose) brain imaging before and after treatment....
she has gone a long way since drilling that hole in her head, so it works, I need a clean drill bit
BECKLEY CANOPY’s first IP generating research in humans is already underway: a brain imaging trial looking at the effects of a proprietary cannabinoid formulation in the treatment of a major indication Additional research and product development programs are scheduled to start in 2018. As IP positions are secured, further information will be provided.

I was planning on calling the bank to get some funds ready in case it goes down into the teens, and then Yoda shows up and talks schit about Bedrocan......fack
Amanda Fielding once drilled a hole in her own forehead with a dentists drill and fully stands behind the practice for decades, something about bloodflow, Countess of Wemyss and March.......I facking love it!
so a company becomes more valuable when someone with a lot of cash owns a part of it? Is that how Warren Buffet does it?
I don't like this idea that institutional ownership should or would matter - i think the business operations and assets matter and have a value that is independent of who or what 'owns' it.
if an asset became more valuable because an institution owned it - well that just creates circular logic....they could sell anything they have at a good price because it would be a good price because they had it to sell...and they could buy anything they didn't own at a fair price because it would be undervalued before they owned it.....
I mean an institution could just sit back and make money buying and selling the same asset over and over - creating and exploiting volatility at the same time. Fack, maybe that is actually what they do, I don't know
it would be like
lol, Ontario is just 1 Canadian province....that is true.
another way of saying it is Ontario has over 37% of the population of Canada, so it is just over 1 third. One province, one third.
$100 million in revenue! It is line with the federal governments prediction that the entire Canadian market will bring about $450 million in tax revenue. Ontario's portion of that would be over $150 million, and they plan on 'sharing' 75% of that with the provinces - so Ontario's portion should be around $100 million.
and so that tax $1 on a gram, so they expect the entire recreational market would be about 450 million grams for canada - maybe $4.5 billion dollar market..
so even at $10 a gram...450 million gram market....plus tax that means the consumers send $450 million to Ottawa, 4.5 billion to the LPs for a total expense of about $5 billion.
if CGC gets 20% of the market could be $900 million in revenue just in Canada....gross margin 70% is $630- $130 expenses, $100 tax - might end up being $400 million in earnings......being really generous here - going to be a while before we see $900 million in revenue. Analysts expect it will be after FY2020 - so 2 years before we see that
so yeah I guess it is possible that WEED is still underpriced.... like thinking through the math
450 million grams - if a customer can only get 30 grams at a time....means a minimum of 15 million individual purchases....1.25 million a month - if 1.25 million people order 30 grams a month - $300 a month.....that is a small enough fraction of the Canadian population where I think it could happen, that is cool
think this might just be the beginning....there are going to be a lot of stories in the future of hundreds of millions in paper assets disappearing when nothing materializes....
the valuations on these corporations is just outrageous - I think today even now the price of CGC is outrageous, but the price of the competition is just outright fraudulent....
I mean we are talking about some warehouses with air conditioning and some grow lights, no proprietary competitive advantages losing money operations being valued at thousands of dollars a sq. foot. Today - at the low, low price of $5.3 billion you could buy CGC - even if CGC had fully owned 5.3 million sq. ft fully licensed and producing right now, still be over $1000 per sq. ft
the pain will come, the theft has already happened at this point, it is obvious a lot of naive retail investors have pour billions in on literal pipe dreams....and being how it always is they will be the ones holding the bags
very interesting times, like the dot com bubble before it goes pop....
cannabis is currently in the same 'classification' as heroine, LSD, and enriched uranium.....I am going to go smoke some of it
so from here you expect the price to go up? That would be good, Canopy Growth Corp is cool, I need another joint. I had a super stressful morning for baby reasons, sometimes they just cry for no discernible reason,
what is up with that? I think I'll cry all morning and roll on the floor like I am on fire.....
no big deal, wake up at like 4:45 and just hate life to the fullest for three hours, wait to my sister wakes up then I will just pass out on the kitchen floor.....great way to start the day.....
I somehow did some dishes, made bacon and coffee this morning too, I need another joint, fack, then more cleaning
you make that chart while I was smoking my two bedtime joints?
would like to find a service that combines price history and fundamentals.....
i am not sure what you mean, in a sense the internet is a service that provides this.....
or you could mean a single updated image, with the price history, financial quarters highlighted in some way, with indication points for financial releases and major PRs.....
i believe the rise in artificial intelligence will make this solution obsolete before it could ever be truly implemented....with advances in machine learning soon charts will be analyzing themselves....charts will learn natural language and take over most telephone customer service jobs.....spreadsheets will be driving cars, it will be insane
3 hotpockets, tall glass of mountain dew, 2 decent joints, then bed, peace
this is a tip, if you do end up buying a printer, a lot of times you can find a cheap printer on sale for $20, but then you check the ink and it costs $25 a cartridge, but the printer comes with one for free.....I buy like 8 printers just for the ink.....because the printer with ink is cheaper than just ink.....
that is what Tweed needs to do, create the best vaporizer with replaceable Tweed extract cartridges or something, sell the Vaporizer for $20 and the cartridges for $30 or something.
just saying.....with a printer your analysis would be on a whole new level, insane
just to emphasize, fiscal year 2019 started April 1st, 6 days ago....
this right here is FY2019, at best there will be 6 or 7 months of recreational sales
$1 billion by fiscal year 2020.......someone must be trippin.
alright, at about $10 a gram in revenue that is only 100 million grams, or 100 tons...or 25 tons a quarter....
now last quarter they did nearly 8 tons of production....now that is done in 3 months without BC Tweed, without Denmark production, that is without the supply agreements with Alicaliber, Sunniva or Livewell.
So I think they underestimate Canopy Growth Corp's accelerating growth in capacity.....i think by 2020 CGC will be involved in the production and distribution of at least a kiloton of cannabis - 1 billion grams
biofuels are completely retarded, batteries and electric vehicles are the only future worth contemplating.....internal combustion engines are worthless, biofuels as an energy source or an energy storage mechanism is worst than worthless, all about energy conversion rates, arable land usage, and the fact that ICE engines are schit.
textiles, rope, maybe we can feed it to cows....that would be good
