Bid size piling up nicely. And fast. Good sign. Should be a good week.
Did they charge you for the transfer? The last time I moved 2K or more into my E-trade account they charged ~$48.
Make note of your available cash and see how much of the $2K actually ends up in your cash balance.
Now is the time to get em. If news comes out you would need to pay more.
My sense is some big players know something is going to happen very soon (maybe this week). Considering the big pileup on the bid at 3 that happened this morning, and the big ask hits at 4, something is happening soon.
I think your theory about a volume surge right before news comes out may apply here. If we see big ask hits at the end of day today, it could mean news tomorrow or Thursday.
They haven't updated that since 12/16/2022. It is far higher now.
Wow. Massive volume today. Moving up!
A dog ate the paperwork, had to re-do it. That is why it is taking so long. Sit FINRA, sit.. Good dog.
I agree. Need some news from the company here.
Wow, people moved a bunch of buy orders down to 2 today.
Still -not a peep from this company. What the hell are they up to?
Rick O'Shea - Famous Irish ballistics expert - Need some news here.
My opinion-
Usually, when a buyback is done, the company offers the existing shareholders a price at premium, but that may only be $0.0006 (my guess) per share. Better than the 3 - 4 we are at now, but if someone payed more than that, they wont accept the offer and would just hold. You are not required to accept the offering.
I'm not sure Rick would understand the effect of mentioning a reverse split. He has never run a public company before. As anyone whom has dealt with OTC's knows, the mere hint of RS by a company often results in a sell-off, as we experienced on 11/8/22 when Tad mentioned it in a PR.
There is no reason Rick would care about existing shareholders. There is no reason for them to do a buyback. It is just a waste of money IMO. They are going to do an RS anyway, so just do a bigger one to get the OS to a better place. No matter how they do the RS some existing shareholders get screwed.
At this point, I will not be buying more of this until long after the RS. In my experience, not matter how big the RS is, there may be an initial rise in price (short-lived), but then a relaxation to 50 to 60% lower than the post-RS price. I will usually wait at least 9 months after a company does an RS before trying to buy in.
At this point I am hoping for news that will give us another spike to $0.001 or higher so I can sell at a profit before the RS. Then I will look at it again 9 or 10 months after the reverse.
$0.0003 is an excellent price to get in IMO. Low risk, even at this OS. We are so coiled and ready to pop on the next news. It may only pop to $0.001, but that is a good profit if you sell on that peak.
And if they go a couple more weeks without news you could definitely buy it at $0.0003. We had a hit at the $0.0003 bid already today.
They can RS any time they like at this point. But they may want to get some cash out of that existing AS first.
I was just thinking that exact same thing (about dilution). And- From the company's point of view - if you know you are going to do an RS, wouldn't you want to squeeze every dollar you could from the existing AS before the RS?
Definitely real shares. Whether it is MM's, retail, or the company moving shares into the market, they are real. If it is the company, the OS hasn't changed lately, but perhaps the transfer agent is just waiting for them to be done transferring shares to update the OS number.
I agree. I think it is the only way to get where they want to be.
That is a good approach. I will consider that on the next spike.
This thing would fly if they took that off the table. The OS is still crappy though, but at least we would see some nice movement.
Yeah, that's probably why I didn't sell. Always a sell vs. hold fight in my brain.
Yes. Bid size at 3 is pretty big (255,824,852 shares), but if we go 2 or 3 weeks more without news we might see 2's
I think it will be ok. We just have to hold our shares for now. They will put out news eventually.
Yikes. I'm kicking myself for not selling on that last spike to $0.0011. I could have taken all that money and placed a buy order at $0.0003.
Dumperoo day again.
News drives the price. But we haven't had any $PLPL news since 5/31, and people are getting tired of waiting for something to happen. Twitter doesn't cut it. They need a real OTC news PR with timelines of what they will be doing.
I agree. The price would not go down if they were buying back shares. They are required to buy at the ask value (at least, since it would be an offering with SEC paperwork).
They could be diluting, and that is why the price is going down, or people are just tired of waiting and dumping.
And they need to file an SEC form.
That's too small to be useful. Did Rick say what the split ratio was or are you going by Tads proposed RS number?
But, because this was a reverse merger into an existing public company with it's own share structure, the valuation / SS / share price relationship is all wacky. So, the valuation of ByoPlanet is not being reflected in the share price because of the SS of Plandai.
Please clarify, under "Off Topic"- "Examples of benign religious statements that generally do not incite an all out religious discussion include: “Bless you all”, “Namaste” or “Merry Christmas!”, etc"
Does this mean these statements- Like saying "Merry Christmas" on or near Christmas, should be removed, or "benign" implies they are acceptable and do not need to be removed?
Yes, Rick says there will be a share buyback, but I don't know if Rick really wants to spend the $4M or $5M needed to make a major impact on the SS. He says he does, but if they are going to RS anyway, just do a big one. It will be cheaper for the company.
And, share buy-back or not, until they do the RS, new investors won't want to buy shares because of the perceived danger of the RS.
The worst possible thing the company could do right now is name / ticker change but not RS (AS and OS) at the same time. That is guaranteed to to crash the price down, and longs will get screwed in the process.
I agree. He made a newbie mistake. We used to get up around 0.002 pretty easily on big news, but now we struggle to get to 0.001 even on news of the merger.
As long as they do the name / ticker change along with it, longs will be fine IMO. We won't see 0.0035 levels with the specter of RS hanging out there, and Rick himself publicly said they were going to do an RS.
Yes! New name and ticker is needed. Fix the SS at the same time, and we are in business.
I agree with all of that. Until the RS is done, this will be stuck in the slow lane.
5's are moving this morning. Need some news to stop the bleeding.
Sweet. Hope to see a PR soon.
Nope. Only brokers can do that. But if my broker gets shares at 0.000591, and I place a buy order for 0.0006, my broker will sell me those shares at a tiny profit, and then they still charge me the brokerage fee for OTC's.
Every trade has some profit associated with it. Someone will always make money.
Bid size at 6 piling up again. Good sign.
