The question is are you?
Thanks for confirming.
From my research DEA hemp licenses have been near impossible to obtain. I question with the changing position of the DOJ and states legalizing if that hasn't softened? If so I would imagine TRTC is on it.
It's not easy and probably next to impossible but you can apply for a permit to grow hemp from the DEA. Before it's federally legal.
At least according to my research.
I would agree.
I had a limit order in at .005 above a gap last week. My order didn't execute.
Cost me 10k that day.
Correct. It's about the hemp bill which just passed both houses.
Christie can veto it but it won't stick.
He could also let it collect cob webs on his desk for 45 days.
NJ
Law
A bill becomes law upon the Governor's signature or after 45 days if no action is taken. If the House of origin is in recess on the 45th day, the time is extended until it reconvenes. (Different rules apply to bills passed during the last 45 days of a two-year session.) If vetoed, a bill may become law if the Legislature overrides the veto by a 2/3 vote. A law takes effect on the day specified in its text or, if unspecified, the next July 4th.
Even if he vetoes it, looks like they have enough votes to override it?
That about sums it up.
Not sure what happened to interim Q1 results. Pushed to Q2?
Isn't this the second time it's been pushed out?
So now all TRTC needs is a license from the DEA.
No it's not.
Clarity needs to come in the form of a structured deal or at the very least a business update as to how the deal will look and not run afoul of SEC. Also how much equipment are we talking about in each deal? 1m? 2m? and what do they see as an roi?
The CANEX deal states % of grown which we both know can't be structured that way. I would have thought they considered that but my guess is they back off from that statement. Again clarity. I know the deals will happen. I just don't want to wait until federal legalization.
Everything right now is riding on our faith in management.

He's saying the assembly not the senate.
That means both houses passed and it's headed to Christie.
Haven't confirmed.
I don't have a problem with it as long as we get details.
I can't imagine going into a 3B authorization without an offsetting catalyst.
Do I think they are smarter than that? Sure. But sleeping with one eye open right now.
I don't know but usually retail investors don't even vote their shares. At least not in significant numbers.
Which is how these things usually pass.
In saying that we are a pretty involved bunch though.
Perfect
If they announced something like that before the vote then no I wouldn't. But my point is they will need to throw us a friggen bone here. Otherwise the vote isn't the only thing that will go down.
And as to the vote. My guess is it will pass anyway with or without shareholders. It's typically how it works.
I got that covered to.
Well my vote will be with my shares as I will sell all.
Correct but CO growers of hemp are doing it illegally.
I'm not sure under what grounds the DOJ can decide to not enforce federal law is beyond me.
I don't agree with the law btw. Hemp and mj should all be legal. Especially hemp.
Question and please answer honestly.
If going into the vote we don't have news or clarification on GIFT are you holding thru the vote?
I will say this.
With the changing landscape I wonder if it might be easier to obtain a DEA license to grow hemp now?
Correct. You can say it a million times here though and it won't matter.
And the federal government.
Near term I would agree. Long term. No.
You are correct.
My links were in regards to MJ.
Here's from an article today.

Big money is in MJ not hemp. Yes you can make money from hemp but 1 or 2 years from now it won't be profitable to grow unless it's subsidized. And just because hemp passes doesn't mean it will be legally grown. Not sure if TRTC could apply for a permit from the DEA.
Here is another from today.

He is against. Any expansion. Period.
Yes but I believe it's the same Bill. Just now voting on it.
Thank you.
He stated he's not for expansion period. He won't sign it.
Vote his arse out. Follow the will of the people or your done.
IMO. This is spam.

Correct. Makes sense to announce this first. Then GIFT contract using the equipment which has been accelerated. BOOM!
Watch for the shorty morning dip trying to drive the price down. If it happens it should pop right back up.
