TPPH running like crazy. em
OT: Morningstar tells it like it is.
In researching some mutual funds for a co-worker that doesn't feel comfortable in stocks, I ran across the following comment about a fund at Morningstar's web site. I was surprised at their choice of words, although they did make the meaning crystal clear. It happens to be a Dreyfus fund, no less.
This fund is not worth the bellyaches.
The fund only gets one star, but Morningstar gets a full 5 stars for the bellylaugh it gave me.
...or not.
POCI gap sellers all done, now starting to run a little.
I got in yesterday at 1.50. This may be the first exciting thing to happen to me in 2005, other than the other morning when I got out of bed and stepped in cat throwup.
OT. I sure didn't know this...
Norway is the world's third largest oil exporter, after Saudi Arabia and Russia.
Oh, man, there's gotta be a ton of people out there kicking themselves about now (after 5 days of selloff).
Waiter! Another serving of chagrin for my buddy here.
POCI in at 1.50 for (hopefully) a gapper tomorrow.
I gots to have me some of dat.
I'm about ready to stick it all in 10-year T Bills and take a nap.
Brig is awfully big-hearted that way.
I'm usually very optimistic. I'm the guy that will say about a blizzard, "Well, at least the snow will keep your feet up off that old, cold ground."
But I have to admit, today I am very discouraged. Someone, somewhere, out there is pouring millions (or billions) of shares into the market. It may be convertible debentures, warrants, or someone on a vendetta, but they are keeping their hobnail boot on the neck of this stock.
It just sort of fell off the cliff this morning anyway.
Thanks, I finally got in.
Shorting Mr. Softy looks like a good play. Microsoft falling like a ton of bricks.
After all, there is a "Boston" in Texas, Connecticut, Kentucky, Michigan, Georgia, Indiana, and Arkansas.
*Spillway sticks his tongue out at Skunks*
Lots of hubris there, just posting the name of the city without a state. :=))
It's the old site I can't connect to. I even tried to go to just Ameritrade dot com & couldn't get there, either.
I'm fuming now.
Boston... and that would be in what state?
Hell, I can't even get into Ameriturd this morning! Watch the darn market run like a scalded cat & me not able to do squat.
Amen, brother!!!
Just copy and paste adding your town
to the list if "Q" is in your "USA Today"
I'll start:
Abbottstown, PA
Johnson City, Tennessee
PLKC chart... What's up with this POS? It's being pumped and hyped all over IHub.
This should be interesting. Up until now, any sort of good news about Q has done very little to the pps.
When you're strange....
Faces come out of the rain.
Twenty large now.
Noted and recorded.
I wonder if this has anything to do with his last name...
This is too strange:
Japanese toy maker Trane Co's managing director Makoto Igarashi rests his head atop his creation called the 'lap pillow,' a polyurethane pillow shaped like a kneeling woman from the waist-down in Tokyo December 15, 2004. The pillows, targeted at single men in their 20s and 30s, are available for $90 with a choice of red or black skirt. (Yuriko Nakao/Reuters)
Hell's bells, that looks to be as good a play as any today.
Is it just my imagination, or is the market really, really ugly today?
Ugly start to 2005 doesn't even begin to cover it, Brig. Three days into the new year and I've had exactly one winner, and that was just lunch money.
I tried all day yesterday to buy that POS at .038, only to come to grief at the end of the day. Isn't this the one that Buzz said was getting "jiggy"?
CHTR banging its head on 2.35. em
Staggering around at 2,111 right now, but it looks like a drunken... er... Spillway.
Ahhhh... that explains why they won't sniff around my .0385.
You did get filled?
I'll tell you one thing, the sellers right now are holding on tighter than a bull's butt.
Yeah, that's how I interpret it, too. Of course at this speed, you could go plumb broke trying to scalp it or flip it.
