Help Dog CFG pleeeeze, I have to decide it's Friday night, do i get a hamburger and a couple of drinks beers at Applebee's or buy a couple hundred shares of ASR?????
What can one do with $30.00...........
Dog was it you that bought $22.00 worth of ASR, those super hot, hard to buy shares that no one wants to let go of, to get the price up at the close. ROTFLMFAO
.000925 PRE REVERSE SPLIT..............
approximately $285 traded today. I guess people eventually get tired of trading with themselves. Particularly on a Friday afternoon.
The only bashers that exist against ASR are their financials, operating (?) history and their management skills.
I don't understand how I missed the L2 numbers on ASR after all you and I are the same person........
Nice. They spent $75 bucks to inflate the ASR price and manipulate the share price. To Da Moon and Everything is Looking Good.
so how do the 2nd qtr losses and the YTD losses square up?
my sense is that sales are horrible, management is cashing out to the tune of over 1 million and margins suck.
roughly $5600 of activity between buyers and sellers........its a tsunami!
But its not a perfect marketplace. Example: In the supermarket industry, manufacturers and food brokers "lovingly" refer to C&S as "Cheat and Steal." C&S is famous (or infamous) for what is known as "nuisance fees" on vendors for everything from slotting fees to late delivery fees to accounting fees. Some vendors refuse to do business with them while many others do so only out of necessity.
I guess I should mention that the Robinson Patman Act of 1936 controls how companies price their products to different customers and dictates a "Proportionately Equal" doctrine. Sarbanes Oxley also controls certain aspects and more specifically attempts to control retailer abuses on cash discounts etc.
EDIT: the selling price of the thermometer is $19.50, $12.50 is their cost.
$19.50 is what they bill it out at. then the retailers will deduct from that price whatever "SPECIAL DEALS AND INCENTIVES"
That would be in the $500k area. I don't see that happening.
Thanks, you put forth sound logic. A rare commodity here.
whats everyone's guess on 2011 Q2 revenues?
Based on their many proclamations it should be in well excess of $500k, assuming that most of those announcements were not real stuff then we should expect $250K
IF IT WAS ALL MADE UP THEN MAYBE $150K?
Anything below that.....well..........
My guess is somewhere in the $100k to $130k range
I believe Wilson3 had posted that there was big news coming from ASR but he could not tell us what it was. But said everyone needed to get ready or be left out. Ring a bell?
Correction, I found the post:

Get ready for a very big week!
Hey Dog, do you remember when the "BIG NEWS" from ASR was supposed to come out?
Theory; The ASR 10Q for Q2 2011 is due in a few days, the volume, the hype and the price all sink to low levels and things get quiet.
It is like everyone is holding their breath.
Then the Q will come out and if the company doesn't announce bankruptcy, they all sigh and then go on to resume the hype and self trading. Once again making the claim that no, this past Q isn't the one that matters it's the NEXT ONE that will be the tell tale.
Well we will see what happens on Monday or whatever day they actually release the Q.
Based on their Facebook announcements revenues should be well over $500k but then again, maybe that's why they release this stuff on facebook, they can lie, misrepresent, fail to disclose and engage in all sorts of off the record junk. No accountability.
The markets are relieved, the crops are saved. Since ASR is up 2 cents, there is no longer a worry that the global economy will fall further, seeing how ASR is a beacon for the global financial markets
wilson3, are you saying that what happens with ASR stock is in any way related to the global financial markets?
In my opinion Streett, the only ongoing and constant interest in ASR is amongst a group shareholders and promoters who by all appearances seem to trade in their group and pass shares back and forth as a way to justify their hype of the shares, making up total falsehoods along the way, like J&J is buying the company.
no different than someone paying 30 cents for 500 shares of asr yesterday. no one seemed to complain about that which was an obvious effort to manipulate.
yes, Martian Medical Specialties are interested in paying 300 times revenues, unfortunately they will use Martian currency.
On a serious note; I have heard rumors that Johnson & Johnson was buying them as well, however it was pure pumper BS
it feels like a black hole
nothing is going away, so dont worry about in time, this will just continue on and on..
very reasoned approach. I just don't care for the unfounded hype. I have already liquidated. To say that things are great and the stock is going "To Da Moon" is unethical to say the least
I think questioning the company and its management is much better for the shareholder's interests that laying out false and misleading info or re-posting stuff that is a year old like it was new news.
wasn't the second quarter the "REAL TEST"?
I know its a moving target. I have only been watching a couple of years and I have seen the equivalent of "Next qtr is the key" posted at least 3 times.
Sooo Dog, what's your thoughts regarding the soon upcoming 10Q 2nd Qtr 2011?
Revenues under $100k? under $50K?
Or the often herein discussed over $500k?
Hey Dog, this must be the new ASR wave........actually a tsunami of red ink. On the other hand, just think how much they save in envelopes, paper and postage by not issuing invoices.
if the SEC storms the ASR beach, the "To Da Moon" crowd will likely be the first to fall.
My oh my! ASR accomplices are now crying wolf!
hope it was useful
if the SEC looks at this stock, the "To Da Moon" swindler's assistants will have a tough time.
It would be WONDERFUL to see the SEC investigate these stocks LIKE ASR....ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL...,I am sure they would look closely at manipulation and the myriad of false statements......
PLEASE CALL THEM TODAY, I WILL DO THE SAME
200 to 1 REVERSE SPLIT in march. They did not reduced the authorized, so its 5 Billion authorized. They doubled the authorized about 3 months ago as well, management they issued themselves Preferred Super voting stock around the same time. They now can and have done whatever they want without so much as consulting the common shareholders, like the 200 to 1 reverse split and the doubling of the authorized shares.
Nice to see someone else running numbers and showing actualities
really? and what will you do if the sales for ASR Q1 2011 do not exceed $100k?
my god, the transfer agent must be going nuts handling all of this volume
no i don't, i simply speak to people in the trade. I know the national trade fairly well.
I don't know where CFG gets his/her info. Whether that number is accurate I don't know.
When I read the "To the moon" BS I just laugh. When I posted that Q1 would be around 100k all of the BS boys laughed and ridiculed, we will see what happens next.
