kinda looks like it.
if nothing else, there shouldn't be any need to dillute anymore to fund operations, with this sale. i wonder how the market will react to this tomorrow.
i have to say, i'm feeling more confident about this whole thing than i've felt in quite a while. GO ENTI!!!
lol. yes, there's a couple of small issues that kinda occurred to me as well, but if the pps goes up i'll be happy. it does sound like we may be heading in a new direction.
thanks for the heads up. i like the sound of this podcast. if there really is follow through on what he's saying, the pps should start to rise. let's hope Thomas means what he says.
hey Smittle, where did you find that pr? are they changing the name of the company to Meet?
that's some good DD tonight cash.
or maybe it's just people that think they can make some money by buying low and selling high.
almost all the buys today are on 2s. it doesn't look like this thing is dead yet.
this article just showed up on google. it's mostly a summary of yesterday's podcast...

July 21, 2011 (MMD Newswire) - - Encounter Technologies, Inc. (PINK: ENTI), specializing in social media, video technology and on-line streaming solutions, announced today that Thomas E. Hargis has been named CEO of Encounter Technologies, Inc. and is introducing himself to investors with his first podcast, which can be heard at www.encountertech.com.
"I was very pleased to be asked to take this position with Encounter, I know Mr. DiBiase has his hands full with the great things that are happening with PTEL and MusicMatrix," states Hargis. "There is such promise with the technology at the heart of this company, I am excited to be the one to take Encounter forward at this time."
In the first of many podcasts, Hargis today outlined his plans for the future of Encounter Technologies, Inc. He stressed that he has a forward reaching vision for the company that includes taking Encounter's base technology and utilizing it in new ways to open broader market opportunities for the company.
"In the short-term our primary focus will be on our current products and technologies which are market ready and are profitable," says Hargis.
Hargis said he's aware of investor concerns about the possibility of a reverse split and assures investors there are no plans for a reverse split for Encounter.
"We are committed to the process started by Mr. DiBiase, of uplisting ENTI to the OTCBB. This reflects our commitment to our investors, our plans to grow the company and enhance our existing technology and our marketability across the board. I have instructed our team to make uplisting one of our highest priorities moving forward in the next few weeks and to provide everything we need to make it happen quickly."
Hargis goes on to state he is focused on creating revenue building technologies that will sustain the company over the long haul.
"For me it's about making sure we go beyond just being viable in the marketplace. We live in a time of rapidly changing technologies and shifting revenue streams. Our goal is to diversify this technology and build strategic partnerships so we are functioning in several business sectors simultaneously to ensure the health of the company for both ourselves and our investors," says Hargis.
According to Hargis, in the coming days the new team will move into place and ENTI will begin the process of steering the company into this great new direction. He plans on getting up to speed on the current state of affairs within the company and looks forward to keeping investors informed through podcasts, video and press releases.

it was two different recordings, but i think it was the same guy(Thomas Hargis) in both. what it sounded like to me, was they probably got such a rush of email over the possibility of a reverse split after the pr yesterday, that they decided to add some more info on this to the podcast. i have to say, i liked the style of speech in the second part much more then the first. the first part sounded too much like a speech. the second sounded more genuine to me.
the bottom line is, you can dump your shares at .0001 if you believe there's no life left in this "pos scam", or you can hang in and see if maybe a new CEO brings new direction and energy into the company. i personally believe there's enough potential to stick it out. IYP, Filmrookie, SEO/SEM all require no where near the capital to run that MMX did. i'm betting that ENTI isn't dead yet. time will tell. GLTA!
what does the L2 look like today?
i'm with scottrade and they're fine with ENTI, but i'm having problems with them and another stock that i'm in. i'm still hoping someone here on this board can help me with info on fidelity. are they ok for trading ENTI?
i just checked network solutions and filmrookie.com and .net are taken. also, when you enter filmrookie.com into your browser you're redirected to musicmatrix.com. this wouldn't happen if it was available. sterlman, no offense, but, you're mistaken.
i think, given the nature of the company and the stock, news of the backstreet boys is pretty much dead center on topic. at least that's my opinion.
the problem i'm having is with another stock, not ENTI, that i'm in. apparently Fidelity is the only one that's allowing trades right now, at least that i know for sure. i'm pretty sure Schwabb is not allowing trades on this stock too.
i want to post a question to the board. i'm looking at switching brokers. is anyone having any problems buying or selling ENTI with fidelity? i really would appreciate it if anyone with experience with them could get back to me...thanks.
well, whadya know, someone just bought 5 million shares at .0002. that's something.
i believe there are plans in the works to kick start this company. if you listen to his last podcast, Tony says as much. unfortunately, in the mean time we have to deal with an ugly/painful daily pps. i think the problem here is Tony's timetable vs. an investors timetable. i'm with you kaitnick. hoping this thing sees a comeback. i still think it can.
that's what i think.
i have to agree.
thanks, but that's not really an answer to my question.
when is Tony due back?
i heard 15.00
if you go back and listen to the last podcast, Tony is very careful to explain that until those shares show up in our accounts they remain owned by ENTI. in other words, ENTI still holds a major chunk of musicmatrix. that could prove to be a very good thing, or not. it's funny how the "non-supporters" are seriously coming out of the woodwork lately, considering these companies are are so dead. if i didn't know any better, i might think someone was worried.
here's what i keep thinking, though. we know that filmrookie and IYP news are coming. i believe it's this month. because of the terms with the divi right now ENTI is invested in MMX, not the individual shareholders. then there's DUTV. there's several avenues through which this could see a rise again. someone IS buying the shares that come up for sale. if this is really worth nothing, why? i don't know, maybe i'm just holding on to what little glimmers of hope i still have, but news could turn this around and i'm still holding onto my shares.
or, rather, Tony's strategy is not helping shareholders YET. i can think of several reasons for everthing that seems so problematic right now, becoming quite advantageous under the right circumstances. who know? i've got no choice but to wait and see.
i think that's the real question. LOL
also, remember PTEL isn't a pinkie. it's listed on the OTCBB. personally, i believe there's more planned for the future than we can even imagine. the "non-supporters" have to dwell on what's happened to date, because they don't want any investors to consider potential. i still believe the potential is huge.
exactly. this is a buying opportunity.
they can always change their name. i'm in agreement with some here that there's more to the way this thing played out then meets the eye. i think a buying opportunity is coming soon for people that missed out the first time around.
i was kinda' being facetious. i agree with you kaitnick. lots could happen while he's away.
i'm starting to think it might be an integral part of a plan. remember, ENTI has its ownership in PTEL, even if the individual investors don't. if something material were to happen to PTEL that was favorable, it would still affect the value of ENTI. but Tony's going camping with his kids next week, so i guess nothing could happen for a while. be sure to hide the roaches.
or some people getting out at .0001, that don't want to wait. the volume today wasn't out of the ordinary given the circumstances.
i hear ya. i think the difference is, i knew this pps would drop for a while. all you have to do is look at what's going on. a relaunch of filmrookie and IYP launch. those are supposed to come in july and august, as i'm understanding it. in the meantime, here we sit. i choose to believe we WILL come back. in the mean time it's probably best to turn off your computer for a little while. focus on your gardening/barbecue/car maintenance/canasta. the next month or so will probably be painful. i am glad Tony gave a very solid reassurance regarding the PTEL divi questions.
i agree. Tony answered the most pressing questons. and i think he did it pretty convincingly. i feel somewhat relieved. however, i'd still like to see the price go up. where's the 50,000 share guy?
you're trying to buy on the bid. you may not be able to buy on the bid if someone is ahead of you or there aren't any shares available at that price. if you try at the ask, which is .0002 you should be able to buy. that's just how it works.
i think Tony needs to come out with a podcast that addresses all of the investor's concerns. right now this is kinda ugly.
Tony definitely needs to clarify all of these questions regarding ptel shares and enti's future specifically and clearly. i think that alone could drive the price up a bit.
