The people you allude to are basically those and their followers who build some momentum by hyping the hell out of a ticker and as they are hyping they are selling into the run. Leaving all the people who look at the high volume boards and see them as being active get burnt because they enter high and these players exit. They make money and you lose your shirt.
The fact that they are not here is actually good news. Slow and steady is better than hype and then crash.
They gave news - have products - growth in revs - not great but growth and low O/S - better than 90% of the POS's people are chasing these days
Where not why
Why this is trading is ridiculous - there's probably 100's of pinks out there trading around .01 that have zippo for products and multi billions in O/S.
Friggin mm's are killing this.
Another little nugget from IR this AM.
"Also, we might be doing a live video from the floor on Saturday."
Correct - on all counts.
Only 2.7 is o/s
That info is as relevant as your ihub handle.
Anyone thinking of going or is going to CEDIA for a first hand report?
Sure would but they haven't shown anything really. We need to get some concrete proof the tech is accepted and viable for revenue generation - hence I wait for CEDIA results. I already paid a price on hope - this time it's real proof - no more could be, should be, maybe, possibly - it's either real or not.
Haven't sold any to recoup a little cash but not investing more until tangible proof exists.
Not if you have millions already under water
Could be sooner if they get the traction expected at the show.
I just have this feeling that come next Friday, you better be strapped into your seat and get ready for take off. I have a good feeling about what CEDIA is going to do for SDVI's future.
I think Azzam is going to demonstrate a tech platform that will be of interest to a lot of the professionals in this space.
I will be watching very closely at what news comes out.
That announcement will be big news for MDGC. A rising tide lifts all boats - mdgc doesn't have to do anything to get a boost if the news is good.
I was on the call as well and I loved what I heard - the volumes they were talking about initially were very small - the mfg runs were small volumes - the product and development were impressive - I could see multiple pennies providing the product is enthusiastically received and getting someone to put up seed money for a true product launch internationally.
This is headed in the right direction - I just hope capital doesn't become a killer constraint.
I am an old holder - not a new Investor and I have a lot of this as wallpaper - been holding over 5 years so believe me - I want this to be a rocket more than just about anyone
Answer is pretty simple - when SDVI approaches $700M+ in revenue, they will be worth $5 a share too. Profit means nothing in this era of internet based commerce. Every one of theses companies like Amazon (see Whole Foods acquisition), Blue Apron, Wayfair or whatever others, are all worth more because they are changing a paradigm.
If Morpheus or Knoton represent a true paradign changer or at least are at the top of their specific product chain, then SDVI is a rocket ship. It just needs to get the revenue cycle cranked up and to do that they need two things:
1. Exposure (CEDIA hopefully) and
2. Capital (that comes if 1. happens)
Until then we trade like a struggling penny stock trying to find their way among the thousands of penny stock wanna be's.
The MSMY outcome will be a very interesting result for MDGC. We will be able to tell how serious and effective IVS was in their vetting process when we see who comes forward as the merger partner.
If the merger partner is legit and the company has a real product(s) and is considered a "going concern" and not a hope for or maybe type company, then MDGC will move just on that alone.
IVS will have success or failure just based on what they deliver for MSMY because:
1. They spent a lot of time and money setting up the deal - legal, filings etc.
2. It would validate their due diligence process.
3. It would demonstrate their reach and influence to bring forth companies ready to go public.
IVS has a lot at stake here - I would watch MSMY very carefully - if it goes well and dilution isn't an issue coupled with a "real" merger partner - then MDGC has a real chance at multi pennies.
Ok, IVS, your on the clock.
Depending on the merger partner, I think we can do a little better than MSMY - MSMY is not done yet from what I can see.
At $.01, I can make back a lot of what I have most the last few years chasing these blasted pennies.
Here's to a new beginning.
Fingers crossed - I have a ton of this as wallpaper - hope to turn it back to green. I can always paint the walls - lol.
There's still a few of us left - lol. I still got a ton of this wallpaper - it would be nice to turn it back into green stuff.
Let's hope IVS is the real deal and sincere in there approach - it would be novel.
We need some IVS news. They tweeted about ICRD and MSMY over the weekend - It's MDGC's turn to get an update.
Wearable Market per Gartner this year around $30B - 1/3 is smartwatch - great opportunity for Knoton - based on the video conference recently, a great deal of development has gone into Knoton. Hopefully that will be showcased at CEDIA as well.
If that happens - a buyout sooner than later is possible.
If IVS hits the milestones of getting the fins and fees paid for all of the back reporting and continues to update the progress of the "interview" process for potential mergers, then MDGC will get back it's momo.
The PPS won't really move until real tangible visibility to the new partner and some public disclosure on what is going to happen to the A/S and O/S shares. If Pfd stock is used for the merger partner and there is a 6 month, 12 month or longer hold on conversion (if convertible) then there is a chance of some sort of a run.'
If there is any sense of dilution, then this goes nowhere.
Can't have IVS viewed as a dilution machine to fatten their own pockets at the expense of current shareholders. I am not saying they will, but caution is advised. We must see whether their rhetoric matches their actual deeds. Words are great - but actions are what counts.
I just hope they have been the purchasers of the cheap shares.
It would seem IVS and Ms Long have been very busy lately. Let's hope they are sincere about getting these shells productive and not dilution machines.
It always seems like these deals never benefit current shareholders - I am hopeful they are different and the results go in our favor.
Hey K23 - long time no talk - hope all is well with u and family - we may have a little to celebrate soon. I still own a bunch of this - lol.
Not the dream we had 4 years ago but maybe we get out with our skin.
Been in this since 2011 - been waiting a long time - hope they can ride some CEDIA momentum because the product set up is really state of the art - need momo to get some seed money to get the pipeline filled and stock price moving north.
This stock doesn't move until it gets more widespread coverage beyond the 10 people who own it on this board - exaggeration but you get the point.
CEDIA IS CRITICAL TO GET MORE WIDESPREAD COVERAGE - NEED SOME REAL BUZZ OUTSIDE OF THIS SITE.
Only 9 people on the call - missed a good update from CEO.
Making progress - CEDIA looks like a great opportunity - Appears ready for US launch - new product soon. Development of the other software for Truckit and Knoton on schedule.
I beleive 4 or 4:40 EST - I think it was 1PM PST I belive.

Hey scotchie, glad to hear our Aussie friend is alive and well. MDGC will be a new company very soon. We can leave the Val era behind us. That alone is a good thing.
Tomorrow's call will be interesting. Need to hear what the next quarter should look like and the plans for CEDIA and thereafter. I would like him to address funds for expansion and how that is going to be financed. No money = limited growth expectations.
Some of the info needs to be explained further.
I am all in here. Just want better explanation.
Question is where are the shares coming from. The A/S is maxed out and they can't issue new ones at this point. Val and Ryals would be out of shares by now - and if I am a large holder (AND I AM)- I have no reason to sell large blocks as there is no reason to do so - so where are they coming from????????
The tighter the shares are held, the more pressure to the upside in price. If new investors want in, let them pay - why give them away.
Ryals was the name of the 80 something
Been trying- sold over 4m so far- have a lot more
These types of deals NEVER end well for existing shareholders- the only ones to make out if at all would be Investment Company and or maybe the principles of the company trying to go public on a shoestring - essentially us old MDGC investors are screwed - IMO.
Seen many of these deals over the years and am still holding a lot of bags of useless wallpaper. Just saying.
Hope this ends differently but not optimistic
Me too
Yes I can
