about 30 more minutes and we will start to gain into the close.
the days events are way too predictable.
cool new phone coming out from a new cell phone manufacturer.
http://saygus.com/
Saygus announces plans for the launch of the world’s first two-way live video conferencing PCDA in the fourth Quarter of this year. This new real-time, two-way, mobile video conferencing device, the V Phone™, will allow its users to communicate from one handheld device to another via real-time, two-way low bandwidth live video and audio combined.
the NEOM roller coaster has left the station. Hold on, we are heading down. We will then spike the last hour of trading.
oh, I have been a long for 5+ years at this point. I still hold millions of shares. I have already taken todays Christmas stash out and it is sitting in my Scottrade account grinning at me from ear to ear.
You are right, you never know in NEOMland.
Good luck
well, if it matters, I am flipping today and my entire Christmas is more than covered already.
Go NEOM!!!
great day to easily make a few thousand dollars off day trading. we will see a very nice spike that will taper down as the day goes on.
Good luck all.
well then start buying.
be careful what you wish for in NEOMland.
and then I clarified my meaning of CLEARINGHOUSE (in Japan) to mean some sort of way to keep track of the codes they are using. Japan is not using Neustar and they are managing codes just fine, arent they?
interesting that you try so hard to pick fights with anyone that is not pumping the Hell out of this stock.
I have no idea, that is why I was asking QUESTIONS!
I dont claim to know everything like you do.
EXACTLY!!!! I dont get why people on this board think that NEOM and Neustar are going to be collecting fees from around the world, they wont be!!!
NTT Docomo and China Mobile will never pay one red cent into NEOM or Neustars coffers.
"There you go. I essentially say they don't have one and ask you to prove it and you berate me."
Ask me to prove what? I was asking a question about if Japan uses a clearinghouse. I was looking for an answer, not someone looking to pick a fight.
I guess you didnt understand my posts. What I was saying and asking was: 1) Japan uses some sort of way to keep track of their codes (clearinghouse of some sort, meaning something to keep track)
2) have their own clearinghouse, meaning that what ever they are doing to keep tack of codes is working fine.
Japan doesnt use Neustar and things are just fine there, arent they?
Sorry it was so complicated.
oh so now the Japanese dont give a hoot about security?
Please inform the Japanese about your finding.
Pop, thank you for the answer.
I have no idea what you are trying to get at.
My point is that Japan does not use Neustar and they are managing their codes just fine. I never said that they do have a clearinghouse.
P.S.- I NEVER SAID THEY USED A CLEARINGHOUSE!!!!!!!
Success, I did not post that they would somehow avoid patent infringement!!!! I was asking a question, not stating a fact.
Please dont mis-quote my question.
Thanks.
Interesting. do you think there is even a remote chance that those darn Japanese use ANOTHER WORD FOR 2D BARCODE CLEARINGHOUSE??? You dont think they are rude enough to also have other words for dog, cat, money and bicycle do you?
Believe it or not, they dont use English over in them there parts of the world, so I am not surprised that an ENGLISH google search doesn't return much.
Japan clearly has a clearinghouse of some sort, they have been using barcodes for many years now without the use of Neustar and things are going great over there.
thanks for posting this for me to see Streets.
Los, Japan is way ahead of anything that has been accomplished here with barcodes. To say that Neustar is apparently the model that has been accepted as the worldwide interoperable model is just not true. It sounds nice, but..not true.
why would it fragment the ecosystem?? they have an ecosystem that is working just fine and it seems like it would be very easy to tap into. I cant see the harm in this at all.
well, Japan is way ahead of us when it come to barcodes, so I am sure they know better than us what they are doing and have their own clearinghouse.
My questions is... cant anyone just use Japans system and totally ignore NEOM and NEOMs IP? If everything is routed though another country (not covered by NEOMs IP) and back, is that legal to do?
here is a question for anyone to answer.
We all know that Japan has their own patents that are bar code related. What is to stop anyone from using Japans technology and going around NEOMs IP??
My point is, if servers (etc.) are located in other countires NOT covered by NEOM's IP, companies can skirt NEOM all together, cant they?????
so you are thinking $40+ million in 6 months is possible??
I hate to be negative, but there is no chance in Hell that will happen. NEOM will not generate that type of money in 6 months.
I dont care what Jonesie posts unless it is fact based.
So again, if anyone has even one success story, I would love to hear about it.
thank you for that, but that didnt answer my question. just because there is something etched in glass in a London office doesnt mean that shareholders will make squat.
I would like to know of any success stories where the shareholders and the company came out on top after using YA funds.
Thanks.
seeing that we are in a strangle hold courtesy of YA, does anyone have any success stories of companies that used YA and were able to shake them??
every person I talk to in the finance world says that Cornell/YA is the kiss of death.
I have never believed that NEOM would make money based on "clicks", I see that you think the same.
All of these posts about FILL IN ANY NUMBER OF CLICKS YOU WISH making NEOM FILL IN ANY DOLLAR AMOUNT YOU WISH are just not realistic. IF we are to go mainstream, we will just be lumped into a carriers data plan at a very low low low low low flat rate.
everyone understands an NDA, dont flatter yourself. :)
you need to understand that when it comes to NEOM, it has always been stated as gospel truth that the deafening silence from NEOM has always been attributed to an NDA and that they must be in a quiet period. after years of it just being crappy management, folks get a little gun shy.
be very careful philam. most of this boards experts were saying the same thing back when the PPS was in the .60 range. the share price dropped over 95% after the "no brainer" talk.
didnt you say we had that with Chas, Charles, Martin and with Chip??
the only thing that will give our CEO credibility is revenue and cash in the bank. Anyone can be a tool for YA, we dont need that.
I agree this is what we need, a CEO that knows how to kick some A@@. I hope that person is IM, but to date, I am not sold on his abilities. I guess the next 10Q will either shout his praises or seal his fate.
you are correct philam, thanks for the breakdown.
the biggest problem that NEOM is going to face and is facing is intruders. when companies like MSFT, GOOG, etc... with very deep pockets are intruding and dont want to pay, they can fight NEOM in court for years on end and drag this out until the patents are no longer valid. Thats my concern.
Sean, do you really want to play the point out how wrong game??
Not a good game for you to play. :)
So you are saying if NEOMs IP was sold to another company, Neustar wont be interested?? Come now Sean.
Neustar was sold on the IP, not NEOM track record of success and stellar leadership. (just like me.)
there sure has been a sizable share of vocal dissent, but it sure as hell was not those voicing disdain for YA now. these folks were the biggest cheerleaders for bad management, YA and the Super Company.
Go back and read the posts.
Claw, I will be more than happy to pitch in.
correct. all Nuestar wants is access to the IP, regardless of who owns it.
well said Beacon, I agree.
I know for a fact that Iain gets feedback from shareholders. I have talked to him. I also talked to Chip, Chuck and Chas.
The problem is that Iain has NO pull when it comes to YA. In order to keep getting a paycheck and a job, Iain must do what he is told.
there are some of us that were not happy about Cornell/YA years ago and knew where it would lead us.
these same posters that you are mentioning thought it was GREAT that our fine NEOM leadership had hooked up with Cornell/YA.
what is that saying about hind site???
you are giving certain posters way too much credit. while I also applaud them for their actions and posts, there is NO PROOF whatsoever that their posts have made YA change their strangle hold on NEOM.
Again, what YA does is called "death spiral financing" for a reason.
If these posters have so much pull, as them to get us a shareholders meeting. :)
