Oh.
I thought it might have been in Alaska or somewhere. (Do they even have salmon in Alaska? I have no idea!)
Nothing like taking a full three minutes to empty the fish basket on the salmon wheel every evening.
And where in these estados unidos (or environs) would that have been?
yes, r-------
That's who it was. I don't remember him salt and peppering his posts with aussie-isms!
Butt there actually was a poster on the old Loch boards who was living down under ... he seemed VERY close to the company. Can't remember his name, though.
"Too clever by half"
Love the liberal use of "mate" -- such a sterotypical attempt to sound like an Aussie! Surprised he didn't add something about the barbie ... mate.
Seems there's a post missing. I know I read it earlier, but it's all gone now.
Now how in the world did that happen?
You're missing my point, paige ...
I said it was a product YOU developed, not Paul Mitchell. And if you were a publicly traded company that had issued a PR to "suggest" significant sales, are you saying you wouldn't tell your shareholders what order of magnitude the sales represented? $10? $100? $10,000? $1,000,000? Knowing you from these boards, I'd think you'd barely be able to suppress your enthusiasm!
btw, I was in LV earlier this summer and wish I'd known where your place was. I'd have called or come by and introduced myself. You should know the only other person to have the distinct -- distinct, I say! -- privilege of meeting me in person was elrheo. He wore an electric yellow shirt to show off his off-season suntan. Some head of hair he had ... you'd have loved styling it.
c'mon, paige.
You know if you'd developed a brand new hair product that iyo was far superior to anything else on the market, and you were trying to market it to other hair salons, and if you got calls inquiring about it, you'd respond. Particularly if you'd issued a PR that said it was already "out there" and being bought/used/tested/sampled. (Edit -- should have said after issuing PRs that said it HAD been bought ... etc)
What's the difference here?
When a SALESCRITTER won't answer their phone, dodge calls, and won't return inquiries about a product they SUPPOSEDLY sell, then you know the product is (1) not sellable, (2) an embarrassment, and (3) subject to a de facto gag order
1-a: not manufactured to "specifications" (read: hyperbole in PRs) or fully tweaked yet
Oh dear ...
What I had hoped would be encouraging news to share from Decatur electronics is just more of the same. No one would confrim any sells of the meth scanner.
I talked to some of the same folks again and was refurred on to others that would not answer their phone. I thinking now maybe none were ever sold just a handful made for demmo. JMHO.
You've been quoted (with attribution) on t'other board. Now don't go getting a swelled head ...
Who do s'pose wrote the current PR? Somewhat more restrained than malcbaby's!
The old neighborhood's going downhill fast.
btb (tm arloco) -- do you s'pose Tommy's reading the boards these days?
welp, you may be right, but I don't see any wording about a trial period. If true, pity that detail isn't included in the PR.
be fair, xeno ...
"We purchased two
ValiMed units to provide additional assurance of accuracy of our compounding
practices."
All that's missing is the purchase price!
btw ... no comment on my earlier post from the horse's mouth?
This will be of interest, I think.
Direct from the U of Michigan's horse's mouth.
We have been using Valimed for several years. We currently have two devices and are considering buying some others. None were gifted to us, but we may have received preferential pricing based on the fact that we were the first to use it to validate high risk compounded products.
Initially, when we reported on our early experience, we also found some problem s with instability of the technology. Over the years we have worked with the manufacturer to understand and address these problems. Each year the performance of the devices has improved. At the current time, the most recent device has some improved features which have made it much more stable than the early devices. We are very satisfied currently, and as I mentioned, are now considering expanding our use and potentially purchasing additional devices. We weren't willing to do this until we were satisfied that these early problems had been satisfactorily addressed.
Comments? On any aspect of this? I can think of a couple but someone else gets to go first.
welp, they should be used to it.
Evidently everyone is cool with going Pink.
"Good to see more pr. That system is very prestegious !
Such info should be encouraging to other hosp systems.
Wish it detailed the nature of those sales,
ie: ppu? demo ? the 2 units for all3 hosps ?"
So was and still is Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust "very prestigious" and guess what happened to those (gifted) valimeds?
Very funny. Now, how 'bout answering the question! Es el mismo hombre?
I've discovered there's an MP in Apex NC. That's closer to Raleigh than Charlotte. One and the same MP beloved by all?
How good friends are Wade and capnmike?
"Of course it is hard for a hard-core "bleever" who spent many years as a one-sided pure propagandist to make the conclusion that all he was pushing for those many years was truly all part of a well-orchestrated scam, and there is not a single scapegoat, there is a whole collection of the guilty and that list starts at the doorstep of the one person he trusted most (and I don't mean Boone or Malarkey - although they are both highly responsible also!)."
I think you're being overly generous.
I'm reminded of this particular bleever's irritation -- actually, fury -- in a phone conversation with someone nicknamed rottenstorm (sumpin like that). IMO this hard-core "bleever" had a vested interest in doing his part to make sure certain peeps were never brought into court.
Six degrees of separation. Or maybe only three.
Where in NC has MP gone?
ya know wot, moonie?
The CEO who was responsible - along with his BOD - for that company's sorry plight, one Richard Trevillion, is being brought to court by the company and has had his options removed and no salary paid for the period before his removal.
Can you say the same for cdex?
Didn't think so.
Oh, and that company has quite/quit/quiet a few patents.
Can you say the same for cdex?
Didn't think so.
Justice will be done to the perps there.
Can you say the same for cdex?
Didn't think so.
"Doc" "Dr." Stk Distributoire, NasD.Aq.
CEO and CFO
DiddyStock Cayman Holdings, Ltd.
You forgot 'Monsieur le' (before 'Stk Distributoire')
If you're gonna be French, get it right.
Cordially,
an 'umble sea urchin
That's got to be one of the funniest things I've ever read!
crow ... whatever's happened to monsoonman? I haven't noticed any posts by him.
He seemed like such a good guy, too. Had such a nice bunch of friends and all.
Past my bedtime so to be con't manana, I hope. Don't stop now!
He kept it? Liens on it?
"Note how Hairy just forgot to question Firmbach why he listed his address as Tom Huzella's home."
Don't tell me ... not the purple one!?
"I believe that Stevenson was right in his research and testing that OUR CDEX TECHNOLOGY works."
Hmmm.
I wonder if the University stands behind Stevenson's reports.
Hi, cado queen ... long time no talk!
Any basher barbecues recently? Did ~kidd crash again? Not crash as in burn, as in w/o invitation?
email me your number (again) and I'll call ya ... who knows where I've put all that. crow has my addy.
(I think 4/four/for/fore/quatre diddy's just jealous of your ease in finding stuph.)
What's this "thinkpink" stuph??
Can't be pink sheet ... that's too obvious!
Where IS Rotten????????? Does he still post?
(edit ... and I returned it)
No, he knew I wasn't in NS ... remember, we'd originally met in Yanni's in Albuquerque a couple of years before when I was there for a shoot. On the other hand, (I can't really remember) he might have thought I'd flown in from NS. Can't remember! And akshally mox nick. Ha ha, a bilingual pun.
The electric yellow shirt and winter salon tan image will always be the way I remember him.
Don't forget clozer already made his money on the $6 spike during Croatia, before Baker et al sold, enough to put his kids through school (that by hisveryownwords) and then he was ALWAYS going to get a forensic __________ (fill in the blank) to keep the powers that were honest and make sh'holders as "rich" as he was ... but did he ever?
It makes no difference to him whether or not loch#2 fails.
btw ... what happened to elrheo? Did he evaporate? Did someone reveal or threaten to reveal somthing he didn't want revealed?
r----
I imagine he's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past the sensationalism of that drama.
(Have you heard from broadsword? How is he?)
maybe so ... but I'm taking a different tack ... "composing" as we speak!
Confession is good for the soul (the ubiquitous 'they' say).
