fan, well said. BTW, the pps seems to be holding up pretty well today, all things considered. Have the shorts finally stopped pressing?
To answer 12/31 inventory question, idk as I am on the road, and cannot access readily. I wouldn't necessarily assume that a full inventory of product exists due to CV hysteria. Dr. Chan did mention ramping up production, but again no numbers. If you want to assume that then I would have also assumed that he would have taken advantage of the CV spotlight to create awareness of Cytosorb/Cytosorbents, but that hasn't happened thus far.
fan, I understand all of the POTENTIAL demand, but we have no real numbers to back that up (relating to CV use). For example, how many filters did the Chinese order (10, 100, 1000???). Remember, they are probably using the Chinese Jafron HA330, too. Who knows? I believe the address is 7 Deer Park Drive Monmouth Junction, New Jersey 08852. A full 2nd and 3rd shift at plant would suggest significant manufacturing output
Just an idea. It is always difficult finding out what is really going on, but if they are busy manufacturing then there is, obviously, demand.
dounome, When you say that Cyosorbents HQ is, "here in West central New Jersey," do you happen to live near Cytosorbents H.Q.? If so, perhaps you wouldn't mind swinging by the manufacturing plant during 2nd & 3rd shifts to see if the parking lot is full (extrapolate manufacturing rate based on that condition). I think that we would all appreciate that action if you are in proximity. Thank you!

This "discovery" further emphasizes that "WE" need to "get the lead out," and get aggressive about marketing and promoting the life-saving potential of this technology, and get the word out. A little public pressure on the FDA wouldn't hurt, either. That was a nice interview on Fox Biz. last week, how about pushing for national exposure at least once EVERY week. C'mon Dr. Chan, we have to strike while the iron's hot!!!!!
EXACTLY!!! Particularly if he is working with the Chinese. Jeeeezzzzz!!!
It clearly says underneath the picture in the article,
"Nephrology team launched hemofiltration adsorption and CYTOSORB adsorption treatment earlier"

tech, Have you shared this with Dr. Chan?
Very good thought, particularly with FLA having such a high percentage of an aged population, and this virus (as most) is hardest on that demographic.
Excellent strategy. Yeah, as a politician, he might salivate at the prospect of claiming that he is responsible, indirectly, for saving lives if he can influence the "powers that be" to approve. Great idea!
I hear you, and I get it. If it was a significant number, I would have jumped all over it. It may have been part of a pre-scheduled, ongoing regular disbursement plan, which lots of officers have in place. Most of us have large paper losses here, and I don't enjoy it, either. Without getting back on my soapbox, Dr. Chan hasn't helped prevent those losses through his actions (inactions), but I digress.
He still has 417,649 shares remaining. Not a big deal. Maybe he had some taxes to pay?
You know, I honestly am not sure. He is such a poker player I don't know if he would emit excitement over a big order or not. He just lacks charisma and "punch." All I know is that he better step up to the plate soon, or we will be at a 52 week low, when the fundamentals for the company's prospects have arguably never been stronger!!!

I believe Dr. Chan to be a hard worker, knowledgeable doc, scientist, and stand up guy, and is doing what he thinks is best, but he is NOT a businessman or a CEO that knows how to "push the right buttons." He is too mechanical, and inexperienced in running a business. Particularly a publicly-traded company.

Honestly, I was afraid of this. I didn't want to comment earlier as I would have been said to be negative. I did not feel that p.r. was that impactful. I liked hearing China re-order (we have no idea what that means in terms of numbers), Iran re-order, not hitting ATM, he swept over Germany, who I was hoping was our biggest C.V. customer (3 deaths out of 2078 cases), but no mention of Cytosorb credit for improving Germans. Ongoing discussions with FDA? The rest was all filler. I believe that technology works, but traders also know, based on history, that Dr. Chan will not put out another p.r. for a bit, so easy to short. I am just calling it as I see it. I DO believe that we will have our day in the sun, I just hope that I am young enough to enjoy it.
yeah, they think that there may be a series of them...
BIG FED MOVE.......
initially... for them to try them
"As a final disclaimer, we currently have a strong cash balance, and have no need to raise capital at this time."
NEWS: "Over the past two weeks, multiple patients with at least respiratory failure, shock, or kidney failure, in multiple hospitals in Wuhan, China have been treated with CytoSorb. Based on preliminary positive feedback on patient outcomes, we have responded to a request for additional devices and have now delivered a second shipment of CytoSorb devices to our partner in China, intended for new critically-ill COVID-19 patients."
I agree, and as I have stated before, with substantially impactful news (desirable), the company could potentially trickle out some shares (not to overwhelm, and stymie upward movement) to raise money in the face of frenzied upward trading.
DUMB!!!!! Read successes of many of the same issues from other ailments that are killing those with Covid 19. Cytosorb is NOT A CURE for Covid 19, but potentially a remedy for many that suffer from sepsis, organ failure, etc. a frequent result of this virus. These often, previously fatal, issues are NOT INHERENT or specific to ONLY sufferers of Coronavirus, but are the result of several other ailments. That is what, it appears, that many here fail to understand about Cytosorb. Educate yourself.

I have been adding here...
My emails to Dr. Chan that have had a negative tone have been limited, and respectful. Don't get me wrong, at the end of the day, I would rather have a conservative, just put your head down and trudge ahead guy like Chan over INO's Dr. Kim, who is all flimm, flamm (but promotes the hell out of his company and gets huge upward share action, unfortunately, it's all b.s.). A little charisma, and increased exposure wouldn't hurt the pps at all (allowing the company to dump less shares while raising the same amount of money when hitting the "ATM"). That said, I stand by my assertion that at this stage of the game he should remain as CMO, but the board should bring in a seasoned pro as CEO to get us to the "promised land" more efficiently. If there is something (or a few) huge catalysts in the works, that we are just not privy to, and Dr. Chan is wildly successful getting us there, I will be the 1st to email him with my apologies for ever doubting his business abilities.
That is obviously important, but the catalyst to get this stock moving will be the recognition/publication in print of successful treatments saving lives, specific to Covid 19. If/when that occurs, everything else will fall into place. GLTA
Germany: Currently 1622 cases, and ONLY 3 deaths. I find it VERY difficult to believe that Germany being Cytosorbent's biggest customer (65% of sales), and having the most knowledge and experience using Cytosorb, to be a coincidence.
My point was, whether the product is "efficacious" or not has nothing to do with whether it is reimbursable. Efficacious is addressing whether the product is effective or produces the intended result, which Cytosorb DOES as evidenced by the sources that I referenced. What kills people from this ailment is no different than what kills people from many other ailments or medical issues, Coronavirus just happens to be the "flavor of the month," and for shareholders, is THE opportunity to finally put Cytosorbents on the map, and for victims is a potential life saver.
If you did your DD then you would already know the answer to that question.

...of course this is NOT a CV stock. That's just the most recent application.

I don't think there is "insider" selling, just ATM cash raise for operations. There is a big difference. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the dilution, and it's effect on the share price, but I don't believe that insider selling is going on.
Consider, for example, how significant the news was 2 Fridays ago about filters hitting China, and that they are now ready "for use." HUGE news in this environment. The virus spread like wildfire throughout the following weekend, only adding to the The next day, Monday, the day of the biggest Dow point gain in history, the pps got killed. Coincidence? I don't think so!
No, we are certainly not that. We have several "bullets in the gun," unfortunately, no one is aware of that fact. That's my point.
