I have Etrade, and mine got converted the day after the reverse merger. However, last night it disappeared again, and now shows as a number. Go figure.
IN which case you stand to lose more, if you're wrong. Which, as I observed, often triggers more "averaging down". WHile if you see the stock going down, you can exit it and buy in lower, thus either eventually making more money on it, or losing less, should it go down on you below your risk tolerance.
The common argument for averaging down that I observed on these boards is "what if it skyrockets when I'm not in it". Well, that's what you got the core position for.
Of course, this is my opinion, and if your trading style works for you, the you're right to do what you do. I just don't like the risks of averaging down.
Well, in my book, it's a really bad idea.
It's called capital preservation. Quite a smart thing to do, too, when you know why you're doing it :)
Hmm, got another stop loss which can take us to $8? :)
Frankly, these days the only difference I see is the exchange they trade on and the share price. Everything else seems the same, it's just the size of the manipulators that's larger :)
It's actually quite common with government contracts.
Yup, squeezing of the longs (and, incidentally, of some traders, too) :)
As for the short squeeze, well, that depends mostly on the company, and in big part on DoD.
This is from 2007, right?
No, but there's no love there now ;)
Heh, how does that work? :)
Hmm, isn't Cramer one of the people who do that? :)
Indeed on both counts :)
I knew it! I knew it!
Any number of reasons. Your email provider might've changed their spam rules, you might've downloaded an update to your client spam rules, etc.
Do check the spam filtering settings. For example, I use a paid Yahoo address for these, and I disabled spam filtering on Yahoo end, I only use the one that comes with OUtlook. I added Chartinator's address to Safe Senders in Outlook, and haven't had a problem with it.
Hmm, I guess, it's different over there. Here the warm, sunny weather and no rain or snow (well, we did have a snowfall back in 1856, I believe) sure does scare them away from their rounds.
You shouldn't buy it in hundreds of thousands of shares. It's not a big company...
Unless, of course, this whole board is an elaborate ploy by Chartinator to entice us into adding him to Safe Senders, and then send us spam and exploits. But it's not such a ploy, is it, Chartinator? Is it? Is it???
Adding Chartinator's email address to Safe Senders would work, too.
Yeah, that 100% drop didn't look good last night :)
I got one. Check your spam settings.
Same here, but then, I have Etrade as well, they're usually fast with that.
Yeah, I'm waiting on more people to have their shares converted. Mine already are.
Heh, it gets better. The ask was at .0042, I submitted an order at that price, got filled at .004 (the bid). Not that I mind, but it's interesting nevertheless.
On the "institutional investors" to either cover, or load up, or both :)
We're watching the grass grow :)
Yeah, the daily shorting has started right on time :)
Etrade.
Sure does look scary right now - the POTP shares are gone from the account. It should update soon, of course, but it's still unpleasant to look at :)
That's because losses is what people complain about, while gains are taken for granted :)
Depending on the TA and on your broker, it'll take from one to 5 business days to reflect that and make the shares tradeable again. Etrade takes about a day. Also, with Etrade, your buying information may get lost. you'll have to call them to restore that.
I'm still in with my core position.
So buy something like gold to fend off inflation, or just put it on a savings account or in a mutual fund.
Then I wouldn't fail :)
That'd explain the volume ;)
This is the interesting one :)

true or not, it shows just how ridiculous markets are in general, given how much emotions drive them.
Out of SNUS and SGCP. SGCP sure took a while to sell, until this latest spike in volume.
Yeah, if only you knew that you'd become a trader... :)
Well, you took Statistics there, didn't you? That's a step up from what they cover in kindergarten ;)
