New here guys. My mom works in a drug and alcohol treatment center in fayette county PA. She was telling me about their drug that supposedly thwarts alcohol addiction - makes her clients not want to drink. I believe she said that their county drug rehab is the only one currently using the drug, that it is not fully FDA approved yet. Is this all true? If so, and the drug is approved and it works as good as she says it has been doing so far for her clients then it seems likely that every drug and rehab program in the nation will soon be adding this to their addiction-fighting repertoire.
Seems pretty pricey to me, even with today's big board bloodbathing, and I was wondering what y'alls expectations of ALKS and more importantly, projected revenues and consequently, PPS...
TIA, and best of luck in your investments,
malc stone.
Funny, me too! Time2LoadSmootheUP!

Thank you Ryan for putting that out there. I read these but didnt want to bash the poor dudes picks. Many times people, including myself, have tried to respond in a civil manner to his claims against our TDGI and EP. We have attempted to reply with DD that took some time, and in my case quite a bit of time deciphering that Hounddog v. EFGU BS lawsuit.
Hounddog is still trying to sue Empire and Eric by defacto when he was with them over the fact that they would not distribute a film that involved teenage incestual rape and such. The reason being because the theaters refused to play the film and avoid the boycotts and beaucoups of negative attention...
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,259624,00.html
That lawsuit, and the "facts" of the other posts, are similar in that they have no standing whatsover.
All of us realize that we lost another 12% or so today. So what?
I mean really? With that pilthy 528K volume it could have been me today getting out. But I guarantee that was not the case, and I even added yesterday. Powder dry today but we will see what happens tommorrow and I will likely load a little more if this craziness persists....
Cool heads prevail. Nothing too worry about when some small fry get jitters and some people with no shares and nothing else to do like to try and get some fun out of rattling peoples nerves. We all have known juvenile folks who get their kicks like that.
In case anyone ever forgot, an investment in TDGI is a vote of confidence in EP and crew, and I have seen nothing to make me change my opinion that he is going to try like hell to build, I said BUILD, this company into a 500M market cap venture.
malc.
We saw some silly and not very prudent selling today, as far as getting maximum value for your shares when you do sell, but honestly when you consider the volume it really was quite inconsequential. We here are a bunch of longs for the most part and a handful of the small fry such as myself equal all of todays action. I just cant see the desperate reason to hit the panic button, and consequently I myself grabbed some more cheepies IMO and averaged up a bit.
The first part of the news that hit last week was also the weakest link IMO. I have no idea what is coming out, but I am of total conviction that it will be beneficial to all shareholders, and my increasing position here since January proves it.
I've only been self investing for 2 years now but I have already found my side job and Hopefully a full time job in the future being as construction is catching up on me. I'm a hands on boss who wont ask anyone to do something if I'm not up there doing it with them. I have had to scale back but I have survived in this recession where alot, and I mean, alot, of my friends, competitors, and general contractors have not. I merely mention this to say that patience and perservernce wins the day, and an investment here is like many other things in reality - there will be good and bad days, you will make and lose money, and the real key to success IMO is having a strong game plan, sticking to it no matter what, and having the stones to realize that many small steps make a long journey.
Cheesy and simplistic? Perhaps. But is it the simple truth? Just ask yourself what has been your path to success if you have ever been a successful exec, a successful mate, a loving parent, a business owner or any of the other myriad ventures out there to experience.
Holding long and strong here without any of the personal turmoils some here seem to experience daily, relax a little! Make a decision and stick to it or else move on and forget about it! It hurts me a bit to see intelligent people infecting others with their own inner fears when really that is just mental masturbation, and of little value to anyone, including the source.
malc stone.
I hear ya Etrnaly! I think if someone is going to take the time to post a bunch of gibberish and bash someone's character he should be able to back up his claims with something concrete - apparently that is not this case with that certain so and so, hell, i even forgot his alias, not that it really matters anyway!
malc.
My reply to the Basher.
Last week a certain poster started throwing things out there and questioning the character of our CEO. Ok, thats fair game IMO and what forums for discussion are supposed to be primarily. Today I get home from a very hot day of work and see he has brought these same issues, if one can call that kinda ranting bringing issues, up again. Enough said on that one.
Last weekend I did some DD into these issues, the ones that were researchable, and came up with these conclusions.
The lawsuit that is referred to is Hounddog Productions v. Empire Film Group LLC when Eric was still involved over there, so he is part of this rather trival suit which the producers of the film have no standing in suing about in the first place. Please view this old news if interested:
www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,425483,00.html
I could have, and debated about, purchasing said legal docs pertaining to the case but decided to read EGFU Q report Mar 2010 instead first, and I found no reference to pending legal actions whatsover. Its easily available on pinksheets.com and free. From my experience reading Q's if there was anything of seriousness pending against Empire they would have revealed it in their filing. To my small surprise, they actually clarified alot of the current business status between Empire and HH with the postscripted pasted paragraphs from the March 2010 Q I found interesting.
malc.
SELF-DISTRIBUTION CAPABILITY
Empire recognized that all successful entertainment companies must be in control of their own
product distribution. Accordingly, in November, 2009 terminated its “parent-subsidiary” relationship
with Hannover House, which had been our distribution arm. Hannover House was returned to its
original owners and ceased being a wholly-owned subsidiary as of November, 2009.
As part of the termination of our relationship with Hannover House we formed Producer’s
Releasing Organization, LLC as a wholly-owned Nevada limited liability company in November, 2009.
It is our intent to conduct our distribution activities through this new LLC. At around that same time
our new LLC entered into an agreement with Hannover House for Hannover House to render certain
assistance to us for distribution.
On the extra note, Empire claims to own pretty much a big chunk of HH proprietary property. I encourage everyone to read the latest Q from Empire yourselves and lets get to the bottom of this situation.
ECNG is gaining some nice ground back in anticipation of after bell earnings Aug. 10. The addition of another board member was not recieved with any fanfare, but I think it signals that they are serious about increasing customer base and consequently, revenues.
Think for a minute about the other players in the smart grid business who have no positive EPS whatsover, just alot of smoke and mirrors. Some of these emerging "green" businesses are just a joke IMO who play on the "green" wishfulness of progressive investors. Some are reluctant to report in a timely fashion knowing that what is buried in their Q is really not that appealing from a basic business sense mindset. ECNG, on the other hand, seems excited to let this Q out, and wanting to get as many eyes on it as possible.
My previous thoughts on 2010 EPS of .08 might be quite low - After next Tuesdays Q is released we will have a much clearer picture... Still, if they only earn .02 for the quarter we are on pace to post that .08, and once the market will once again allow a US based BB stock earning money to have a very very low end fair 5x valuation, we should be looking at a 40 cent stock by the end of 2010.
I have an odd feeling that Tuesdays Q might be pleasantly surprising. I would be quite happy with another positive .02 but the subtle indicators are leaning towards better than that. Or that they are gearing up to catapult ECNG to the forefront of the midwest smart grid pack. They are the small dog perhaps, but they are the dog making money, not promises. I have read many many articles about the promise of smart grid and ECNG rarely, if ever, gets a mention. I think this is about to change as the market will not be able to ignore them much longer.
malc.
I have alot of patience as well Dean, and my holdings prove it. I have been adding quietly here for several months now.
I honestly believe the company is on the long march towards consistently better earnings and increased visibility. However, this question is pretty much emminent right now - How are they planning to uplist this stock to any major exchange with 55.5M O/S trading around 10 cents?
Do a 10-1 R/S to meet the minimum NASDAQ requirement? Is the talk of uplisting at the current moment really feasible?
malc.
BWOWW. Granted, the May 2012 expiration of the warrants with a strike price of $12 look a little out of range at this moment, but I think that Wowjoint is being unfairly treated at the moment by the market in general. China fundamental did not dump their whole shell into this along with their fundage to play with peoples minds. They did not jump straight to the NASDAQ with all the extra bells and whistles and costs because they wanted to pump themselves. Actually, the converse seems to be the case to me, and I will be adding BWOW tommorrow - Im already flush with the 2012 warrants should they come into play.
malc.
BWOW. I suppose some people thought that the PR announcing 2.2M in leasing with an option to buy of their heavy equipment was pilthy or perhaps the only good thing they had to say. As in, the only revenues they had to announce going forward.
I hardly think that is the case here. I rather regarded it as a small window to look through to see the direction the company is moving towards. We all know here that the Western mind and the Eastern mind see things quite differently, I personally dont see what the issue is with the selloff in Wowjoint except that the China US market is still very volitile with the opportunities for investing for those with the stones increasing daily. Looks like fall 08 all over to me in many aspects.
malc.
Newbie, it used to look good on paper, sort of. If you read the last Q it looked more like a horror movie of dilution and disrespect for all shareholders. The only reason we havent seen a PR pumping one of SIVC's holdings lately is that they cost money to publish. This is probably the most foolish investment I have ever made in my life, and that is saying something.
When is that 2nd Q report supposed to be out anyway? Well, since they are a pink and a crappy one at that, I guess it will be out whenever they damn well please. What happens if they dont report, a delisting? lol to my own stoopid self....
malc.
Arena, not that interesting at the moment to me, but we are in agreement here on the buy and wait sentiment.
I still have faith here. Most of the US China listed stocks are in the crapper, and for no good reason IMO, and eventually will bounce...
Who knows when that will be but most china investors I know think this is the place to accumulate, much like in the fall of 08.
malc.
Nice 10% gain on very solid volume for this thinly traded stock.
Im holding all shares until we get at least a fair forward 5x valuation or better!
Q1 was positive .02 Q2 to be released Aug. 10! Perhaps sideliners are beginning to load some in anticipation of seeing another .02, or better, quarter. With the potential to land more and more customers as their energy saving technologies become better known, ECNG could have a very "bright" future indeed.
It is currently very undervalued still trading only 2x earnings and also I believe 8 cents for the year may be a tad low.
malc.
I'm out of Verutek for now. Not enough transparency going on with the company for my tastes, although I still believe in the products and sector for sure. I havent checked pinksheets lately, but it would sure be helpful to have some EPS numbers to go along with EPA approved, and hopefully purchased, products..
Like I said I've been out a little bit now for some nice gains and have not done any recent DD.
malc.
Regarding the practice of frag shocking the ground to extract the gas trapped in the shale formations. If you have not seen Gasland yet then it is of upmost importance.
In SW PA my sister and brother in law have a well on their land currently... they live pretty much amish style, bro in law is a federale but a good and pragmatic, i.e. necessary, one and im sure they have no idea of the magnitude of these practices.
they raise their own chickens, beef, goats whatever... we will be helping them out a bit and visiting July 2nd and staying a couple of weeks. Its going to be painful to break this to them, and i will for sure be doing some on site inspecting. If anyone on any of my crews used even 1 out of the 156 chemicals they are pumping into the ground unchecked, i would be fined out the ass by OSHA if they were doing that without protection. not to mention disposal and just basic sense responsibility, i thought. of those 150 something chemicals i recognized 5 that we come in contact with or have to use periodically. Srry for rambling but im still in a state of shock about the importance of this practice... 5 kids, homeskooled w the land and the animals... this is even worse than the gusher IMO. I know this is not a gloom and doom board but i havent ever seen a more important issue ever..
Oh yeah, BTW, they are all up in my homestate of arkansas.
malc.
Totally agree on all points Dean. I've been in here over a year now, and began adding when it turned the corner to becoming a positive earnings company. We could now see at least .08 or better for 2010, and 2011 is already shaping up nicely.
It's the number one add IMO at these levels for anyone searching for a long term investment. All my shares are in my SEP IRA. None in the short term trading account. Might take awhile for people to catch on or the company to become properly valued. China in general is in the shitter at the moment and values abound everywhere there.. its fall 2008 all over again. People with the stones to jump in here will be rewarded in the end i honestly believe.
malc
You wont catch me complaining until I have something substantial to complain about. Current PPS is disappointing, some are obviously getting out before the show even starts. Uncertainty has loomed large in much of the market in general lately, China looks like fall 2008 all over again in many aspects.
So what people? If you crave certainty sell out of what you should have never been in in the first place. Buy something that pays a pilthy dividend if you dont have the stones to take some risks.
My only complaint is that I could only scrounge a minimal amount of powder to avg. down my daughters account.
Have a great weekend people!
malc
We are currently making homemade ice cream for my sons fourth birthday party. thank you CK also for all your hard work as well. everything is fine down here in the south except we need a little precipitation, i wont say the other unspeakable word.
malc.
Life goes on, with on without us....
Great post joenatural. I see this has stirred up a bit of malcontent.
malc stone will be adding to his daughters account tmmrw morning. thank you to all the sellers.
Anyone who is buying TDGI is buying a piece of the vision of EP. its as simple as that. Im an arkansan and i know i little more than i let on to. IMO EP got out of Empire Film Group because mgmt was messing up really good opportunities and going about things all wrong. Take a quick look at that and perhaps this is the basis of where you are coming from joe, but look a little deeper and realize this is why EP and crew bought their own shell to try and do things very very differently from the start and now we are at this current junction.
Companies, trust, market caps, and success, like cities, are not built overnite, and sometimes there are delays and other things happening behind the scenes that people do not understand. I dont claim to understand anything of what is happening behind the scenes but i do understand what is happening with the current frustration and i think this is a natural part of the whole process of a new venture trying to take their vision into fruition. I am an investor, and not a trader, i work hard everyday on a jobsite instead of blurring my eyes on a computer, and i personally am adding at this level instead of pulling out my hair.
malc stone
Sloth, sir. I also feel the pain although I just got in about 4 months ago when I thought things were finally headed in the right direction, and also following some other very astute investors I respect. Havent heard their voices around here lately and rightly so. That last Q blew everyones expections into a giant cloud of toxic smoke.
The only glimmer of light was to be found in the last Q where they said, basically, that the amount of shares issued were to be pegged a PPS to be determined at a later date. HI YA! Karate chop to the current holders status... I've moved on past it and this is just a novelty holding to me at this point, and I think I have already duly noted my evil suspicions concerning why JB and crew would let this happen to their own damn companies PPS in earlier posts.
Nothing has changed my opinion since, please refer to my posts from a couple of months ago regarding that last Q report following the "best Q I've seen in awhile where no further dilusion will be necessary" that got me into this POS in the first place. Sorry, but really there is no other way to view this at this point in time.
Holding my remaining shares anyway, just following the devil for the moment until he lets me have a shot at the door to get out...
If he is loading the boat for himself and crew at our expense then thats fine, just let me get half my money back and I'll see you on the other side one day.
malc
In all due respect, I think this stock deserves an end 2010 PPS of .40 or better. Without hashing over my earlier posts, GHII is on track to finally post a year end earnings of .08 or better, and if you grace it with a modest 5x earnings this is where I'm coming from.
Of course the current China market is in turmoil and many many other companies will not get even a minimal fair valuation of 5x earnings. IMO much of the investing world has been unsure about china bubble factors and the status of the RNB. The unpegging of the currency to the US dollar is a good move IMO even if only for the reason that it has been long overdue. Im hoping and somewhat confident that by the end of the year that chinese stocks that perform well, even the lowly BB listed ones, will be able to achieve a minimum 5x P/E.
In regards to the latest PR which no one seemed to dissect, including myself (yet) it seems that the 2011 revenues might be off to a proper start. I expect mgmt to keep taking care of reducing debt throughout 2010, and still post a nice .08 profit. I really need to get into the grit of the latest PR concerning the next projects undertaken and if any of you have already done so, please post your thoughts as I will soon when I have a minute to dig into it.
malc
Small article on the wall of the port o pot i was taking a dump in today saying that some companies are spending massive amounts of shares doing cash buybacks to have their toenails done while smoking out in the Shanghai opium dens.
Seriously, what is the point of all these PR's about everything BUT the core SIVC business, and more importantly, what does this signal about what is really happening here in pinkyland???
I've already sold 2/3rds of a modest position to begin with at a pretty fair loss at .0005 I still hold 550K in my SEP IRA just for shyts n giggles because as we already discussed in great detail, perhaps JB will turn the ship around after he has driven down the PPS to accumulate enough shares for the whole gang. And likely there is another mouth to feed that will be revealed in the next 10Q, but i'm going to keep the rest of my shares no matter what at this point, why sell when so far underwater anyway? Plus, I really want to see how this saga unwinds, and either way I'm going to learn something poignant in the world of investing from this whole ordeal.
Honestly I'm not bashing just trying to add a little comic relief. You other guys are really really good at it and it laugh with ya. I didnt lose enough to cry like some of y'all and i honestly sympathize with you. And on the positive side there is just so much kookiness going on with this stock that it seems totally plausible that someday Prince Charming really comes riding up to rescue her out of nowhere...
malc
Holter - My sincere apologies for the confusion. I used the wrong term in my last post, googly is incorrect and should have been stated as a googol, or 1 followed by 100 zeros. A googly is a cricket term for a pitch that breaks the wrong way and into the batter, hence the nickname "wrong'un".
My corrected post - The PR stated that new and existing mgmt will recieve a googol of shares for bonuses and services rendered. The statement is encripted in the PR and was revealed by my backward masking scanner.
A googly is what happens when you read a PR from JB that states that no more dilusion will be necessary to pay the light bill and internet porn service and shareholders consequently believe it.
malc
I think the PR said a googly when I ran it thru my backward masking decoder...
Our current BV is .057 after factoring in the shares Eric and Fred recieved. I dont see how one can value the new assets yet being as we havent had a single Q report to indicate how they will perform. I assume it is fair to count the purchase price of our acquistions as an asset, but little beyond that.
Patience to all you young grasshoppers! Lets keep it real here! My wife and I were all stoked to go to the LR film festival to see RD and HTYMP and perhaps meet and chat with some of Mgmt as well, but alas the kids came down with the stomach flu friday nite and threw up and such all damn day yesterday. Cant farm them out to any sitters in that condition! It was a big dissapointment, but such is life. Relax everyone, our day is coming soon and no matter what the details work out to be, it will be beneficial to us holders of common stock. Unless Eric is unscrupulous to the max, which most of us here including myself believe the exact opposite is true, the value of our positions here can only increase with time. Eric and company have the same class of shares as the rest of us and they want to grow the market cap value of the company same as the rest of us.
Lets stick to what we have been doing, talking about and believing in the believable.
malc
AERS. I'm liking what i see. No income really yet but just getting moving forward. Debt seems reasonable considering the technology. Most impressive though is doing a little DD on the Mgmt. Proven track records in this arena seem like a must-have prerequisite considering the difficulty of a start up entering an ass-loaded playing arena.
Of course this is an emerging green tech and highly speculative IMO and should be considered as such. But the risk/reward scenario seems very high for those of us who play these kinda stocks.
While battery life increase is great, it seems to me that the most compelling part of AERS that could drive the whole industry into using their components, is the loss of headset power into the users head. Remember the days of the old Motorola that felt like it was literally microwaving your brain? I always suspected that this was a major cellphone risk and now scientists today admit those old phones were nuking your brain, and have been linked to brain cancers. Well, things have certainly improved since then, but if true the AERS technology almost eliminates the "microwaving your brain" aspect of cell and smartphone use.
Could be a gameover gamebreaking aspect if the industry begins to incorporate it more and more likely due to consumer demand once it is more widely known that alternatives are now available.
malc
I'll be joining you longs with next available pocket chips...
Great find speckulater! I missed that one but I will be there! Also just emailed the author of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette article in yesterdays paper, I will make sure he knows he can now directly access some folks from HH at the festival.
I smell a major local news piece coming up about HH in our only statewide paper very soon!
malc
Here's an article in yesterdays newspaper regarding the Little Rock film festival and our films. There was a picture of the Racing Dreams promo poster besides the text, but I dont think that copied over. I will be in touch with the author hopefully later today to fill him in on details regarding the distributor of our films - I dont think he knows that it is an Arkansas based company or else he would have included that in this article. We of course are proud of our local businesses and I'm sure he would have highlighted this aspect had he known. He will soon, and soon we should see a feature on HH, likely after details of getting off the pinks is revealed to us and we all know the clear direction forward.

LITTLE ROCK — Does it come as a surprise to learn that I know only a few people who venture into the multiplexes more than a few times a year? Think of yourself, and your friends: Who goes to the movies, and why do they go?
Movies have become expensive, and are getting more so, thanks in part to the current 3-D vogue. And if you’re over 40 or so - or you happen to have been bitten by a sort of cinemania that leads you to investigate films made before you were born - you might have noticed they don’t make a lot of movies for you anymore.
Most movies are made to excite a different demographic, one that was raised on video games and conditioned to expect their entertainments to be loud, vulgar and divorced from anything like everyday existence: “escapist” movies like Sex and the City 2 and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
This is by and large what we expect the movies to be these days, and even if you’ve developed a taste for that sort of experience, you might occasionally feel exhausted by the ever-escalating spectacle of the Hollywood product. Cotton candy and roller coasters are fine once in a while, but a steady diet of carnival fare will make you sick.
But there’s nothing like a film festival for renewing your faith in the medium, in the possibilities of movies to surprise, delight and edify us. Festivals give us a chance to experience movies that aren’t the product of demographic research and focus groups, but the realized visions of individuals meaning to tell us stories about how we are, were or may come to be. Festivals give us a chance to see human-scale movies, offbeat and even failed movies that aren’t calibrated to Hollywood’s idea of the marketplace.
While I haven’t seen everything that’s showing at the fourth Little Rock Film Festival, I’ve seen Debra Granik’s noirish Ozarks-set Winter’s Bone, which won Best Narrative Feature and the Waldo Salt screenwriting award at Sundance. Winter’s Bone kicks off the festival Wednesday night. It’s an excellent, tough film that showcases some terrific performances and some stunning visuals. (Disclosure: I’ll be doing a Q & A with Granik, Fayetteville-based actor Lauren Sweetser, who appears in the movie, and other cast members after the screening. I’ll be doing other things there, too.)
I’ve also seen Marshall Curry’s excellent documentary Racing Dreams, about middle school kids chasing the national go-kart racing championship (think Spellbound on wheels), and The Last Survivor, a remarkable nonfiction movie about genocide by two filmmakers in their early 20s, Michael Pertnoy and Michael Kleiman. (Check the Little Rock Film Festival’s online schedule at littlerock.bside.com/2010/ schedule/week for dates and times for all films.)
I’ve seen Jeff Mizushima’s quirky, life-affirming and family-friendly hamster saga Etienne! (executive produced by locals Tim Jackson and Josh Miller of Category One Entertainment) and most of the Jackson-directed documentary Looking for Lurch, about the late Watusi steer (and Guinness World Record holder) who brought international attention to Janice Wolf ’s Arkansas sanctuary for abused and abandoned animals, Rocky Ridge Refuge. (More disclosure: I like the Category One folks a lot. I have other friends with movies in this festival.)
And while, as of this writing, I haven’t seen Matt Harlock and Paul Thomas’ documentary American: The Bill Hicks Story, the trailer looks amazing. If you’re not familiar with Hicks, a ferocious comedian who died (in Little Rock) of pancreatic cancer at the tragically young age of 32, or his frankly beautiful last days, you should be.
Dianne Bell’s antique feeling Obselidia - a gentle romantic comedy about a librarian obsessed with obsolete objects and concepts (such as love) and the movie projectionist who challenges his assumptions - is remarkably erudite and consistently charming; it also won the Alfred P. Sloan Award for the best feature with a scientific or technological theme at this year’s Sundance festival.
I’m also looking forward to Martha Stephens’ narrative feature Passenger Pigeons, Lena Dunham’s semi-autobiographic Tiny Furniture, and Alamar, a Mexican hybrid that uses real people and situations in service of a fictional plot that won the top prize at the Miami Film Festival (and has already been picked up for distribution by Film Movement, which specializes in simultaneous - day-and-date - releases of films to DVD and in theaters).
And I’ve heard a lot of good things about ArcadiaLost, with Nick Nolte as an expatriate American bumming around Greece, and Josh Radnor’s much-buzzed-about indie ensemble Happythankyoumoreplease.
There are a couple of higher profile features, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spinoff Get Him to the Greek and the Michael Caine revenge fantasy Harry Brown, that are intriguing mainly because of their lead actors (Russell Brand’s Aldous Snow was by far the best thing about FSM and Caine is always watchable). I’m also curious abouta couple of locally produced features - Joe Dull’s Table at Luigi’s and T. Hudson Dunlap’s Lost Dogs.
As a big fan of the band, I got a kick out of Barr Weissman’s affectionate (and affecting) The Secret to a Happy Ending, a profile of the Drive-By Truckers by an unabashed fan who just happened to catch his darlings in the midst of a career crisis.
Other documentaries I’ve got circled include Jordan Brady’s I Am Comic; the Billy Bob Thornton-narrated My Run; Davis Guggenheim’s exploration of the American education system, Waiting for Superman; and Doh Hahn’s Waking Sleeping Beauty, about the revitalization of the Walt Disney animation studios beginning in the late 1980s.
This is a strong lineup - maybe stronger than the menu at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. (Though, to be fair, I only saw about a dozen films at this year’s TFF.)
And while I stand behind the suggestions, it may be that the best way to experience any film festival is to simply follow your nose - to seek out the least crowded theaters. That approach is often rewarding. Some of my best festival experiences have revolved around eccentric movies that never had a real shot at gaining U.S. distribution (there was a Jamaican reggae movie at Toronto one year that helpfully subtitled the rasta patois of its actors). Some of the best movies at festivals are always the shorts - and I can vouch for the Arkansas music videos in this year’s festival; they’re exceptional.
The best festivals are not so much about the finished films as the energy produced by the nexus of unfinished artists, hustlers and interested camp followers that film festivals attract. A film festival provides a place where talent can collide with talent;where aspiring filmmakers might catch a glimpse of the real thing. And realize they’re not so different from themselves.

Nice interview Gary, poignant questions and to the point. I've been holding here myself since the shift in business focus, I like the long term direction as the company has been getting distance from the cheap solar panel production and diversifying into better prospects IMO. Been adding at these levels also - I'm not a trader but a LT investor. Many of the chinese stocks are hurting for no real reason at the moment, we all know this, and i'm of the opinion that this is just another one here that is suffering unjustly.
malc
P.S. whats not to like about trading for BV with solid holdings if not a bit less?
Thank you nano. that is what i thought you meant by your post and precisely what i am concerned about with Axiom. i am not of a scientific or technical mindset, but even i can figure out that aspect of this emerging technology.
I pretty much deducted that Mike, but thnx anyway. Like I said earlier, I am waiting to see more things develop before getting back in. I'm liking the military contracts for now, but its just a trial run IMO. The full potential of the technology, be it positive or maybe something better is out there, remains to be seen...
malc
Nano, can you expound a bit on how this affects AXION or their technology? I'm confused by this post...

I did the same Mike, sold mine out for a nice double when it appeared that things were heading south. Im watching patiently from the sidelines. It also does not seem certain yet that their new technology will be able to be put into production for positive margins, and its also a bit unclear if the marketplace will embrace and purchase their products. I'm content to keep watching at this point in time.

Worse yet is the fact that the dilution is due to a personal payday for himself and crooked crew, IMO. And they haven't even done jack to improve shareholders position before said "bonuses" and "consulting" expense doubling. Even if lots of our investments here do oneday miraculously turn green, JB will still have gotten there by unscrupulous methods to me. Bad Karma too.
I honestly only invest in companies I can sleep with at nite ethically myself. I know that is quite cheesy and often I miss opportunities because I dont like the industry, so what? Plenty of fish in the sea.
I think pretty much everyone here thought that dilution was over too, JB himself insinuated by saying the company could and would now sell some assets to cover expenses forward in the previous Q.
Sneaky and premeditated behavior IMO to do the opposite and pay himself on our tab.
Good luck to us all, I'm dumping half, holding rest.. I have a sneaky feeling though that his nasty manuevers to get more shares before an R/S might actually work though... look who makes alot of money around you and then look at how they make it.... too often by breaking it off in people... I'll hold the rest just to get my money back and get out. This type of CEO behavior is unethical if not illegal.

Looking forward to the next Q report as well. May not do a thing for the PPS though in this China bloodbath. Report is due out today, correct?

Karin, the market selloff is because many people tend to go into panic mode when they sense something foul brewing. Here, we dont have to sense it, we can fully embrace it with all 6 senses...
Sorry, but JB is a crook. Plain and simple. This is his plan to drive the PPS into the dirt so that he can accumulate as many shares as possible before another R/S later. We will be underwater for some time now, myself included, I attempted to sell most of my shares at .00005 for the last three days but none filled. I guess as Ronnie James Dio would say, I was the Last in Line... lol... SIVC is the reason that most sane people dont touch a pink stock with penny one.. And Ronnie James and SIVC in the same boat now, dead.

smacked ask here... good day to sell off remaining anything thats up big still and load even more for the run coming pronto..
My wife and I will be in attendance at the LR film festival june 2-6. Are there any other shareholders out there who will be in attendance? I will be the guy with the big HH tattooed on my forehead...

Yeah yeah, but I was hoping to find one in English since they trade on a US listed exchange... Perhaps in the future, doesnt affect my take on the potential here, just needs more eyes and exposure and volume... Rather new still, and rather lucrative IMO. Trading at 2x earnings, and not shabby earnings either. Hope to get in before next Q which may put up some even better numbers, it appears that like the stock itself, the company is just beginning to get real exposure and market share.

Well, I've read the report twice now and can't find anything nice to say. All of you who think something extremely fishy and malicious is going on add another to the roster. I'm not going to dogpile anymore, already posted how i feel as a shareholder, and although I am vexed over whether to dump it come tommorrow morning, I cannot see how any of the many suspicious things going on can be of any value to shareholders.
I and others I'm sure are waiting to hear from you Karin. Gary and Glen, your opinion on this Q report would be very welcome also. One of you who has private access to Mr. James Bickel really outta get on the horn with him and find out just what the hell is going on. I'm sure many of you are more seriously invested here than I and must be wondering WTF and what, if any, positive outlook we have as shareholders moving forward at this point. Or do we all just dump our shares underwater and give JB what he seems to want, a steadily declining shareprice so he can get even more shares... They certainly deserve all those bonuses, especially JB, he only makes like 92K a year or so... lol...
