Question to many investors...
Please explain your aversion to venture stage companies using the capital markets as they were created to do?
Honestly, if this is an issue for you, maybe you should stick with S&P 500 and listed stocks instead of venture capital companies.
It TRTC continues to execute, the company SHOULD expand their capital structure for future growth.
Many people here are only looking backwards, with a misplaced disdain for how venture capital works.
It was determined back in Feb of 2014 based upon the price at the time.
Read it, you'll find it...
Well Doc K you best re-read the S-1's
I thought you knew this company inside and out...
Thanks
Why is using the capital markets to raise capital such a problem if the company is legit? You should assume full 350 million shares as your worst case calculations for venture capital. Unless there are known plans to increase the authorized share count.
Right?
Thanks for the definition of a death spiral DOC K, but doesn't TRTC have a conversion price floor thus not as toxic as some companies?
Thanks
Very good point Big Chief, are you trading this on technicals, the hype, or both? I did like your comment to buy on strength, too many people think they will "pick" the bottom, but all they get is stinky fingers.
People used to think I was crazy to use buy stops to catch an uptrend...but it works.

Good post, the field has narrowed since Jan 2014, Besides the "big pharma" plays only TRTC is really last man left standing. People here also should be using FULLY diluted share counts. The bond market requires brokers to present the worst case i.e. yield to call...it should be assumed all shares authorized will be required to execute on the licenses.
You read my statement slowly, this is a fully diluted figure. Stop distorting the facts. I cut and pasted directly from the 10-Q.
Let me guess, you probably think an accumulated deficit on a venture stage company is abnormal....
The current FULLY DILLUTED share count IF all shares were converted to common is:
As of October 28, 2014, there were 284,470,662 shares of common stock issued and outstanding, consisting of: (i) 189,648,936 shares of common stock; (ii) 100 shares of common stock issuable upon the conversion of all our currently outstanding shares of Series A Preferred Stock; (iii) 79,418,799 shares of common stock issuable upon the conversion of all of our currently outstanding shares of Series B Preferred Stock; and (iv) 15,402,827 shares of common stock issuable upon the exercise of all of our outstanding warrants.
"Short and distort" did you make that up? I like it.
Today was one of the lowest % of trades marked "short" in a long time.

Thanks Dicky, haven't had time to keep up, but read a few, fight the good fight my friend!
Be well!
Sorry only have public posting...
So true, people have forgot what investing is supposed to be, great volume here today.
I haven't been keeping up here, has today been called an unmitigated disaster yet? Great indicator....
Sleek, being on REGSHO is neutral, but don't spin it as positive.
Being on REGSHO means a lot of stock was sold but not delivered in time for settlement.
I disagree with that comment.
Today we are hero's or fools...
JoeRoganFan, exactly, if you're still long, be prepared to be a hero or a fool!
What a long strange trip it's been! Who will be heroes and who fools?
Little lesson for ya, stocks undergoing dilutive financing do not have short squeeze's.... as there are always new shares to cover. So drop that drivel.
Yes, TRTC is putting together pieces of their puzzle, I'm hopeful financing will not be of much issue if they get the STATE licenses.
The potential is there, but can they execute the plan.
Cautiously optimistic...
Agree, it resolved to upside, but looks ripe for a bum rush on the bid.
Locked mkt at .35....hmmmmm
To shamelessly paraphrase a reliable source, think of today as the pre-match weigh-in.
Today we get to see more stats and hopefully approval to go to the prize fight! So to some a little deal, to others a big deal...
A positive step in the right direction nonetheless.
From the NB website: This year we have introduced a new line of herbs and vegetables under the new brand called EDIBLE GARDEN.
So another sales channel.
I believe Naturally Beautiful (NB) is the private company owned by the VandeVrede family, I think Ken VandeVrede's dad. Ken is TRTC's COO.
There have been rumors of TRTC buying this company.
NB is profitable and would be an accretive acquisition for TRTC.
Edit: Saw this on the NB page; "This year we have introduced a new line of herbs and vegetables under the new brand called EDIBLE GARDEN."
Thanks TM, 20 years in the biz and never had to call a transfer agent... Wow, Marilyn is very nice and helpful, but really can only give out approximate shares outstanding (O/S).
And, to get shareholders of record and/or Authorized Shares Outstanding (A/S) you need to contact the company.
She mentioned that they need to run a report for holders of record, so not a readily available number btw.
Hi TM, does the transfer agent have updated # of shareholders of record?
Thanks
I'm not a penny stock expert by any means, so this is a bit new to me.
I normally only trade stocks on the big exchanges with lots of volume, so I find it difficult to get in and out with the position sizes I'm used too trading. A bit frustrating to not get fills on such low dollar volume trades.
STEV looked interesting and was operationally profitable, and not on everyone's radar yet.
Even better, this IHUB page isn't filled with "shill" post ALL day.
Not sure I understand your question?
Do, you mean make a sticky at the top of the thread? An Admin can do that.
I'm not a big IHUB user, just use it as an entertaining soap opera, but have sifted through for some good ideas.
Thx Tex,
I'm an ex-active trader manager, I used to help our margins dept, blow out people with maintenance calls with eq. below 25%. I've crushed many thin market tickers in my day; leaving accts to liq to deficit.
The "firm" wanted us to use MKT orders... I felt so bad I couldn't work them out of the margin calls better, but that was too discretionary for their comfort.
Oh that makes for a fun phone call, yea sir I sold every thing in your acct. and you still owe us money...
I only use margin to satisfy option requirements these days.
Cracks me up when I see a chat board move a market on a bum rush like this AM.
Curious do the MM's blow off your orders if you use AON or order qualifiers? Do you like to "show your hand"?
I had issues getting a fill on a 30K order that never displayed, but had no qualifiers, so "my hand" was never displayed...odd... So much has changed since I "retired". I miss the days of chopping 1/4's all day, and this decimalization and micro-spreads drive me nuts. Sorry, off topic vent.
Thus any tips on how you like to ship orders are interesting to me.
I've been using FIDO and Schwab with mixed results.
Thanks
Can I play too? Been lurking and accumulating. Thanks for putting my eyeballs on this ticker weeks ago "Knife".
As an ex-financial compliance guy, I got a kick out of the disclosure language. Of course it's federally illegal!
But, I find it interesting what the lawyers make them add with each filing.
Isn't TRTC taped out of shares to issue after today's S-1?
It's a disclosure... it does not say they will not be "touching the plant" , but it does say it will take another year to build out the grow. Now that is a bit concerning given their cash burn rate and financing terms.
Infoseeker11 quote: It's a matter of Ethics and Shareholder liability . How many respectable Public Companies can you speak of that would Knowingly put their Shareholders at financial risk by breaking Federal Laws?
But, I'm still long TRTC with my risk capital, as you just never know... plus, smart traders harvest tax losses.
Risk/reward they just might pull it off...
But no Infoseeker11, I'm sure someone here told us that there's no dilution until NEXT year from those convertible notes. Could someone here have lied or misspoke... ;)
Betcha this get deleted...
That is very nice of you! Agree on the audio only. Thanks for asking good questions, especially mine ;)
How many new shareholder's did DP say we had now? 25K?
Thank you!
There's my Big D Gap up call!
A pure technical alert has me back in with you all...Oh well, I wanted to whine and complain a bit more on the Q2...ha!
Actually vice versa: "Beginning to look to me like Derek and Amy are VV puppets"
Regardless both groups are becoming very wealthy off of TRTC shareholders dime. DP taught the VV's how to do that....
Magnum7419, I do hold 3000 shares as my Lotto ticket too, just don't hold the 100,000s of shares as I once did. I manage a lot of others peoples money and they get quite pissed when my out of the norm plays don't pan out.... but go ahead go all in zero risk here...not.
Big D, I hope so, sidelining for now with a small position for sentimental sake.
I always need a little skin in the game. Now, If it makes a real technical move, you can bet I'm on board for the ride. Just cautious to hold a big long position anymore. The floor may be in, but catch ya on a trend change.
Not trying to offend, but do some of you understand what a GROSS margin is? Read it.... Losing money on the basic operations, within your area of expertise, is just sad no matter how it's defended.... Also, Do you understand being cash flow positive (Not expected at this stage BTW)? TRTC is living off of it's shareholders and NOT in a responsible way. There has been no volume as NO smart money wants TRTC in the state it's in now. This ship needs some major, major, "off the hook" forward looking statements, or this stock could be stuck around .30, this is where the last major batch of equity financing was done, the warrant exposure has strikes down to .16 The risk reward scenario has CHANGED and nobody here will admit it. TRTC spent a lot of money wanted $50 mill, yet couldn't hold a decent price per share, so we settled for only $6 mill and gave away the company. The VV's and DP have already made at least a million each on your dime... enjoy. See ya later until DP can better outline next steps...he cannot further dilute at these LOW prices. IF TRTC could have held .5 for the financing and NOT handed our fat unrestricted share bonuses, I would not have been so harsh on them. I know the infrastructure..... A freshly capitalized company will be coming along to crush this micro sector. Re: DP, just a slick stock seller, and you all need him on his "A" game all next week.
