GZFX: When Not-So-Bad News Turns Ugly
Jan 05 2006 10:58:50 pm
Market Analysis by Lonny Rosenfeld
11 AM, up 15%, 12PM, down 30%!? Talk about a change in the tide. So what happened on Thursday? In my article on Tuesday, I will admit, things were looking very bright. It appeared that the rally was in motion and shares of Gameznflix Inc (GZFX: OTC BB) were ready to once again test the all important $.02 resistance. This thought, however, can crashing down midday Thursday as shares turned sharply lower.
Shares Thursday morning opened higher as many expected and were further pushed by news that there was a 110% increase in paid members for the fourth quarter of 2005. While the exact number of members is not known at this point, this is still a pretty impressive achievement and would make one think that the promotion of Gameznflix in Circuit City stores (NYSE:CC) is going well.
Then things turn very ugly. More news comes out: "On December 28, 2005, the parties entered into an amendment to the Services Agreement (see Exhibit 10.2). Under this amendment, the parties agreed to extend the pilot program until March 15, 2006. Thereafter, if the parties mutually agree that a national rollout of this program is mutually
beneficial, they will enter into a definitive agreement for such national rollout." News spreads especially fast on OTC stocks and this news caused widespread panic.
The panic was so great that shares turned significant early gains into very steep loses. Hundreds of millions of shares were dumped as many investors bailed out. Since the selling was so great and the amount of buying at this time was low, sellers had a very hard time getting out. Because of this investors kept lowering and lowering their sell prices. This hard sell off took shares down to just above the $.01 level, a very important psychological level for many.
While the sell off was widespread, was it really justified? This company just reported a net increase in paying users of 110% and while the news with Circuit City was not what most had hoped for, this does not mean it is bad news. It is bad news for the investor who was in hoping to make a quick buck, but for the long term investor who believes in this company, much has not changed. Investors will have to wait a bit longer to find out what will happen with Circuit City, but the mere fact that Circuit City has not backed out of this limited partnership is a very positive sign. Gameznflix is a small company and Circuit City had the option to pull out of this agreement at any time. The fact that Circuit City has chose to extend this agreement shows that Circuit City believes in the potential of a future partnership.
I know that many investors are likely very frustrated with Thursday’s action and have had their hopes crushed, but keep in mind, this is a OTC stock and everything is riding on Circuit City's response. Thursday's response by shareholders was a reaction to disappointment, not a reaction to bad news.
Prepare yourselves for a roller coaster ride; this one may not be for the weak at heart.
For what it's worth!!!
We're up in Belin this morning!

Excellent stuff Dart!
This is why I love this board!
As if we didn't know!

Exactly! Now is when the Golden Cross will be represented.
Yes! I think we're going through the .02s!
Techguy. I don't know but it sure isn't hurting the stock price! I wouldn't spend those advertising dollars anymore if I planned on having the company represented in their stores. Who knows? GZFX might need to catch their collective breath after a hot December rush on their product.
LOL!
NO! It means be a friend!
That's Good! Thank you Xan!
This is by & large the very best board I've ever had the privilige to read! One of the things I enjoy most is the charts posted by people who obviously know what they're talking about.
Please Xan! Encourage them! Don't let this board end up like RB & others!
Jrod!
I put you on my favorites because of your charts!
Please keep posting them.
Yep! That will happen more often. Wait till the roll out is in full stride. We will be mentioned with Netflix on a regular basis.
I believe that article helped fuel mild move to the UP-side! Above average volume with a respectable 13% gain.
The only thing that wasn't mild was the fact that we went through resistance at .015 & closed at the high of the day!
Of Interest!
I don't know if this has been posted here but it serves as a degree of validation for GZFX business model. This article taken from The Motley Fool!
What Netflix Needs in 2006
By Rick Aristotle Munarriz (TMFBreakerRick)
January 3, 2006
2005 was a breakthrough year for Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX). The company managed to rocket its way back to profitability despite a fierce price war with Blockbuster (NYSE: BBI). It was able to keep Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) out of the stateside DVD rental business, too. The company's turnaround rewarded investors with 121% gains in 2005. But 2006 brings a whole new slate of challenges -- and at least one big question to be answered.
With 4 million early adopters on board, will Netflix's growth be scarcer in 2006? Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) bowed out of the business, sending its online clients to Netflix, but is the coast really clear as long as Amazon is waiting in the wings? We are now one year closer to the feasibility of a more widespread video-on-demand platform; will Netflix have its response ready? And perhaps the most pressing question of all: When will Netflix start renting video games?
Over the weekend I caught a Gamefly.com ad on Cartoon Network. Yes, a slick televised ad. I've been seeing a whole lot of Gamefly lately. Every week, Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) has been pitching the service in its sales circulars. I bought my Xbox 360 from Toys "R" Us in a bundle that included two free months of Gamefly.com service. Much further behind, but still in the game, is GameZnFlix (OTCBB: GZFX.OB). In November, it began offering its service on a trial basis at some Circuit City (NYSE: CC) stores.
Netflix can't afford to let Gamefly get much bigger. More importantly, it can't leave the video-game rental market open for Blockbuster to start mattering online, or for Amazon.com to enter the online rental market with a vengeance.
Video-game rentals have plenty of shortcomings. They cost more than discs. They tend to have a shorter shelf life. However, renters are more likely to hold on to a game longer than a two-hour flick. That would be significant for a company like Netflix, which subsidizes shipping costs both ways.
Netflix, a market-thumping Motley Fool Stock Advisor recommendation, owns online rentals. For now. It has four times as many subscribers as Blockbuster, its only real notable competitor in the DVD market -- and Netflix needs to keep it that way. Should the company offer games as part of its existing service, or roll out an entirely new game-rental service via its current network of distribution centers? That's for Netflix to decide. Both would work, but it'll need to choose soon.
With the successful launch of the Xbox 360 and this year's expected debuts of the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Revolution, gamers will be lured to rentals now more than ever. Most of the new systems' games are priced $10 higher than current titles, making gamers all the more eager to try a game before shelling out $60 for it. Launching a game rental service might not be Netflix's biggest question for 2006, but it may hold the greatest ramifications in the long run.

Nebula! Thanks!
I didn't even have the name right.
What is this noise about TAYLOR & BAKER?
Relentless!
I still hold a core that I bought in Feb of 04 at .0004! I took real nice profits at .01 plus & held a core because I thought Frank would do this right. I was wrong. Also I'm probably wrong to believe there's an outside chance that he pulls off a really sweet stunt that benefits longs. I do not post on any of their forums much anymore because I refuse to bash. However I'm pretty disgusted with his putting out PRs stating he was doing buy-backs of 1 billion plus shares while at the same time selling 40 plus billion shares & taking the AS to 100 billion!
The only good to come of this recently was that I put together a warchest to invest in Q after it bottomed & the audit was released. I used all that money to get back into this stock under .009 after staying off of it for a year!
I owned SIRI at .60 & didn't hold a core after taking windfall profits! I had NEOM at .039, took profits below the high at .31 & let my core go after it settled in the .11 range & didn't buy back in at .07 when I knew it had a future & a low float. It ran to .75 on delayed intel news! Also made sweet money on BCON in 2003 & didn't hold a core!
Shame on me! I will not make that mistake here!
I do not see much of a future for investors in Q with their share structure even though I know the company will do well. I'll hold for the hell of it.
This one, GZFX! I will hold a fat core for 3 years! Minimum!
Best of luck to you!
Thanks Agent! I'm having enough trouble with English! LOL
Relentless!
And I buy into those parralels.
Xanadu!
Thanks for that update!
I was unaware we had anyone in Europe checking up on this. Good news to say the least!
ChicagoStock!
Yep! This is a Christmas present at .013!!!!
And it just gets better!

Question:
You need to get our stock removed from the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange ASAP. This exchange is known for naked short-selling which destroys share prices.
Solution:
Thanks for you information. We have passed it along to management, however, the German stock exchange is a very good place for GNF and we have many long investors in Europe. We have reviewed such statements and management has even met with management in Germany regarding such issues. It is just not true.

Brief oppinion!
By looking at it's recent behavior my guess is if it drops Monday it will not go any lower than .0127 or .0128 then move up & end the day with a modest gain. Every day the lows have been a little higher! Less people are willing to trade it & more people have reached their hold point in anticipation that we will get a PR of significant material events.
Happy New Year!
Relentless Despot! You're right!
Focus on the big picture & for longs that's bright!
Yep! This did just what was expected.
Green! e
2:21pm back up to .0128 on very low volume!
This was a manufactured drop if I ever saw one. Yep. People that got in today at .0124 did real good!
Logandav!
120 days! I have ti renew it every two months. I'm just joking about the $1.15 but I did have a small block GTC at .28 & pulled it. If we ever see .28 it's because we're headed to higher ground & I would hate to miss that.
Erock!
I'm long period & not even trading this thing but .0124 was giving it away! Those that got it should feel pretty good.
BOUNCE! e
Just my humble oppinion,,,,,
Those that picked up shares today at .0124 & .0125 got a bargain.
My GTC sell order is in for $1.15
MedVed quote tracker works great for me.
mines up now & running smooth!
I agree! No volume to speak of.
People are holding this thing & downticks are manufactured.
Yep!
Very low volume. Consolidation.
I hear you! All I'm saying is 9 million shares is not what I call pressure.
Answer; Thet don't!
Look at the volume. I don't see alot of selling.
