Authored in a "journal" by the esteemed AirBNB host / air force alum / alleged Dean Witter alum and fake "scientist" operating out of Spokane Washington.
Why has this company refused to release the full HIV data set for peer review? No unbiased outside eyes have seen the data. Wouldn't such ground breaking work be published in a journal by now? All you have is the word of Nader Pourhassan saying the trial was a success. By the way, do you think Amarex collected the HIV data properly? Or were they incompetent here like they allegedly were in other trials?
Of course its not just about NP. His chief enabler SK is still there. Wasn't he day trading stocks and one day hit up NP in an email praising him, and NP being the narcissist he is ate up the praise and offered the CMO job to him? SK is an MD unqualified to oversee clinical trials in HIV and Cancer, actually anything really for he never had experience in designing and running clinical trials, right?
Perhaps Mahboob Rahman can explain what happened during his time at Cytodyn? I'm sure he could shed light on the exact situation of the HIV BLA (once his NDA expires, assuming he signed one).
Many things don't harm, but the standard of FDA approval is proven statistical efficacy. The drug is 24 years old and has no FDA approvals.
CYDY achieved the rare distinction of a "triple crown" in OTC biotech, it managed to get the scrutiny of the FDA, SEC, and DOJ. The DOJ is the rare gem though. I can't even recall another biotech that got a DOJ investigation. Can anyone name one?
If "big pharma" thought CYDY pro140 could do anything, someone would buyout the entire company for less than $350M (current mc). The drug is 24 years old with zero FDA approvals. Paid pumpers pushing fairy tales of GSK buying it out for $20B. Fake soldiers and doctors abound on the forums.
Pro-140 aka leronlimab was invented by Progenics in 1998, 24 years ago. Still zero FDA approvals.
More realistic "shoulds"
Should make Scott Kelly wealthy at shareholders' expense (using shares for comp)
Should make Nithya Ray wealthy at shareholders' expense (using shares for comp)
A LOT more profitable for Kelly and both Reckners to be on the CYDY payroll than to practice medicine!
Reckner got a nice discount on his purchase. The stock was trading at $2.55 on November 20, 2020. Who wouldn't buy a hot stock (at the time) at a 70% discount?
Did the new President make a large open market buy to show his confidence in the company?
Because he is an MD trained in family medicine and the only prior research he did was in bone density studies, yet he is in charge of HIV, NASH, mTNBC? How does that make sense? Why not hire a HIV expert to run HIV trials? Reckner was only hired by Nader Pourhassan because Reckner contacted him and praised leronlimab.
I agree with everything you said, but he won't do any of it because he is beholden to the people that hired him. Kelly and Reckner both should be fired as they are unqualified for their positions, yet here they are.
That would be a zero. I believe no OTC biotech has ever been bought out or partnered with "big pharma". To hope that this one would, after receiving 2 FDA rebukes and currently under SEC and DOJ investigations, would be hoping for a miracle.
Anyone want to guess how much of the leronlimab inventory (still unpaid for) they will write off this time on the 10K? That inventory is rapidly expiring as I recall Nader saying the Samsung CEO called to congratulate him back in 2020 when he placed the order. Wonder if the Samsung CEO is in much of a congratulatory mood these days when he thinks about the $35M Cytodyn owes him?
Is it illegal to say that any proxy votes not submitted will be counted as being voting FOR management's proposasl? How does that make sense? Why not say any votes not submitted will be counted as AGAINST management's proposals?
The "up to" $5M language is key. For, if Sacha's preliminary studies show futility, he won't get any more money beyond the roughly $935K he's received so far for this grant.
Cytodyn trying to PR pump Sacha's NIH grant at OHSU, which is UPTO $5M. They did not give him a lump payment of $5M. Besides, he has been given a grant to do PRECLINICAL research on monkeys! Also, none of the money goes into CYDY coffers and can not be used to fund any CYDY CLINICAL trials.
His and the gym owners sole purpose was to allow the twice convicted felon to control the board of directors since it would always be 3 yes votes to whatever the felon wanted. Now that the felon and gym owner are no longer there, Kelly serves no purpose.
35% dilution on the table while currently running no clinical trials. Management refuses to take paycuts in salaries and insists on making up the shortfall in cash by being paid in shares. They blew through the last 200M shares while achieving nothing other than paying legal fees to fend off the 13D and keep Nader in power and to pay themselves.
Cytodyn has proven to be an effective vehicle for the self-enrichment of management and its insiders. It has achieved nothing in its entire history. Sometimes, the self-enrichment gets so egregious a shareholder will sue it like what happened in 2019 where a judge called the compensation scheme "unmitigated greed'. This ask for 350M shares (after blowing through the last batch of 200M shares) to continue to pay management salaries looks like that level of greed.
Did Kelly catch some Wimbledon matches while in London? Probably will use these new shares to continue to pay themselves as they refuse to take paycuts. They will have to do private placements though as the SEC won't make an S-3 effective with ongoing investigations it has with the DOJ.
"BP and others and trying their hardest to keep Leronlimab at bay"
GOT PROOF?
They ever explain why Nader Pourhassan was not fired for cause? God knows there is a mile long list. No one seems to be asking that question, and also why they are paying him his buyout. Could it be a case of "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine"? E.G., Nader knows "where all the bodies are buried" so to speak?
Have they ever released the full data set from their HIV trials? Are we just taking Nader Pourhassan's word that the HIV data was good and Amarex was "fantastic" in its handling of the data?
2 of the biggest clowns, Kelly and Ray, are still there. Ray said he'd quit if Nader ever left, yet he's still there. Can't those losers earn an honest living somewhere else. Why can't Kelly go back to practicing medicine? Oh, that's right. Practicing medicine for $300K a year is hard, while blowing hot air accomplishing nothing while being paid $3M is easy street.
Bottom line: Execs are refusing to take salary cuts and instead want MORE of your shares to sell to pay themselves.
Nope. Cytodyn had to settle with the last shareholder lawsuit group for around $5M. Plus burning through cash to Sidley Austin to rep them.
Remember when Mike Mullholland said NASDAQ uplisting was just a few weeks away and then nothing happened but he proceeded to sell his own shares and make a fortune? I do, and I bet so do the SEC and DOJ.
No wonder Scott Kelly remains at CYDY. So easy to wind up bagholders with fever dreams of partnerships with GSK etc. Keep the carrot dangling and keep getting paid $3M+ a year in comp for achieving nothing but burning shareholder equity.
Are you laughing at the share price sinking into the 0.30's and the paltry $2M in cash in the treasury and them begging for more shares to pay themselves?
What proof you have they "worked long hours"? How do you know Kelly doesn't just show up to his office and surf the net all day? Seems like they are all addicted to the compensation and won't even entertain a pay cut. Why can't Scott Kelly earn $300K a year in total comp instead of $3M until he achieves something, anything?
They have the nerve to ask shareholders for more shares to pay themselves, not to run clinical trials or get the HIV BLA fixed, which by the way they have now moved the deadline to September. Kelly gave a laughable excuse of the data from Amarex being in the wrong format, but the longs will believe him and play along.
So these clowns in $CYDY management have not taken any pay cuts in their comp packages, only a reduction in cash which is being made up by being paid in shares. That means Scott Kelly is still earning $3M+ a year and this new President close to $500K when they have ZERO revenue coming in and owe Samsung close to $35M and Fife around $55M. Why should they care though? It's shareholder's equity that is being burned and they have the nerve to ask shareholders for more authorized shares to pay themselves!
Only $2M in $CYDY treasury explains desperation for more authorized shares, but Paulson will have to find a new batch of suckers to sell them to which will probably be difficult.
By rulings I mean the results of the SEC and DOJ investigations that Cytodyn refers to in its SEC documents.
Just a reminder that Nader Pourhassan, a twice convicted felon with no prior experience in biotech or working at a reputable company for that matter, was the CEO for nearly a decade and amassed a fortune equalling nearly $20M. When numerous people here questioned his running of the company and his self-enrichment they were labelled "bashers". It took the threat of the FDA for his crony BOD to finally remove him this past year. Now the same longs that cheered him on cheer when the share price gains a nickel in a day. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Nader is touring all the Caribbean beaches as he enjoys his fortune.....before the DOJ and SEC rulings.
Why is former wine and CBD guy the interim leader of a biotech?
Exactly. How would this person know this non-public material information unless she were an insider, and be foolish enough to release it on public message board, OR the more likely scenario, she is a fraud and neither a doctor nor an insider.
That person is either Deborah the wife of an exec or Spokane Mike. The difference now is the company is broke and has nothing left to pump or dangle for the future. No trials are being run so no new future results to dangle. Bankruptcy is the next step or DOJ arrests hopefully.
