Great post, Tradingformyfuture. Thank you. Very encouraging.
To clarify on this post, I think the reference to remittances was actually in regards to Mexican workers in the US sending money back home to Mexico.. not any sort of governmental funding.
AMLO this morning:
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador affirmed that his visit to the United States will be a State visit and has the purpose of starting a new commercial phase with that country and Canada, since the three countries will help entry into force of the T-MEC; at the time of pointing out that there will be a record figure in the sending of remittances to Mexico.
He assured that the country helps him a lot, since he is in a difficult situation economically, so an economic revival plan has been launched and together with the T-MEC the economy will be improved since there will be more investment and Job creation.
In addition, he commented that he trusts that the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, will also be present, but that if he does not do so, he will go to Washington anyway.
The president informs that he will travel to the United States by commercial plane, his delegation will be formed by the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard; of Economics, Graciela Márquez and Alfonso Romo.

The Matador of Mexico.. Michael Ward
Interesting choice.. Ward‘s ring has this very emblem.
Haha right on! Ibow, you’d be okay with it coming from Trump instead of AMLO, right?
Jetfan, DC - great info, thanks. Excerpts from the article:
President López Obrador announced Wednesday that he will travel to Washington “very soon” to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump.
At his daily press briefing, López Obrador said the meeting would celebrate the July 1 entry into force of the new trade treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada.
“It will be soon, we are just waiting to define the character of the meeting. We want the prime minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, to participate as well,” López Obrador added.
The visit to Washington, D.C., will most likely take place shortly after July 1, when the Mexican president will hold a ceremony to commemorate the two-year anniversary of his victory in the 2018 presidential election.
López Obrador indicated that the exact date will be confirmed later this week.
Jackpot, as we have come to experience, “this week” can also “mean the beginning of next”. I was encouraged to hear that he is working on them this very day. It’s unusual for filings to be a priority for him, so it’s telling of what’s to come. July 1st is coming quickly.
Good evening, Jack F, we just entered a $4B partnership.
Michael Ward was strategic enough to keep us out of compliance so that our notes wouldn't hit and dilute the stock while developments were on the low.
Now that we are in partnership with Bluebell, it is very plausible our notes have been taken care of. Therefore, the 10q will be filed very soon.
Looking forward to hearing more about the developments that warranted a $4 Billion dollar partnership.
100% Speculation, but that's the way it appears.
Seems as though Ward knew exactly what he was getting into when he named his company "Mirage".
Jack Frost, welcome to the board. Please share your reasoning.
OC, that isn't AMLO.. That is, however, the second largest labor union in Mexico who will be working for Mirage. I'm not sure who that fellow is personally, but he looks important.
Just realized:
Our PR specifies Mirage AND Northern Hemisphere Logistics as securing the $4B partnership with Bluebell..
However:
The Isthmus project's cost is $6B
The storage facility is $1.2B
The 1000mi San Fernando line Rehab: $B?
The Izucar Pipeline: $300M
= There is AT LEAST $3.5B yet to be announced
$$MORE FINANCING PR'S ARE COMING$$
Oak, I use Charles Schwab without issue. You'll need to wire the funds to avoid the 3 day cash hold required on non-marginable securities.
I really wish there was a faster way as I have several friends in the same boat.
Do take heart though, at least you get to invest with the confidence that financing is locked in. It is still extremely early!!
Tweet & picture from Pedro Matar (Chief Coordinator over the General Council of International Relations) from 6/17:
We met with the municipal president, city council and Matías Romero agencies, the Director of Railways of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and representatives of @Pemex to follow up on the actions that will favor the execution of the #CorredorInteroceánico@alejandromurat
Great seeing PEMEX involved! Our long awaited announcement is coming so soon!!!

Same, Macod. Haven't sold a single share. Even bought a few extra as high as 35 cents
Haha jackpot, you certainly have your fair share of friends and foes don’t ya?
Definitely an end of day run though?
I second that jackpot
Need4speed, I agree. Although I would prefer it to be accompanied by more news!
Intake to the storage facility*
Macod, how positive are you?
Based on the 1/2 bcf d to Puebla with the capacity to do 3.5-4 bcf d thru the San Fernando; that alone is $1.5B- $2B in revenue.
Still have to take into account I take I tot eh storage facility and the entire Isthmus project... plus whatever else we don’t know about yet
Saluki, in my opinion, the only reason it’s not at $1 already is because the news is still hot off the press. Remember the underwhelming reaction yesterday? 8 cents up to 13... and today up to 30. Is it reasonable to at least expect the pattern to continue? Even now at 28 cents, I know several people scrambling to rack up what they can. Can you imagine with further news accompanying this $4B partnership!? Wow!
Penny,
Well stated.. this will help the newcomers understand the culture here.
Also, thanks for your transparency.
I’ve dealt with that question every single day.
The first time I heard about Mirage was summer 2019 when I overheard my dad speaking about it with a friend. When I asked him about it, he replied to me with these words that sank into my ears:
“It’s some broke pipeline company that supposedly will build a pipeline to transport natural gas to Mexico. I wouldn’t waste your time or money.”
October 9th the Whistler interconnect agreement was signed. I knew then it was real. I’ve been all in and long ever since.
Cheers!
Between $1.50- $2.10 for the first half of 2017 when CEO Michael Ward was releasing PR’s every month on the development of the $1.2 billion dollar Brasil Natural Gas Storage Facility.
Ward went quiet, underground.. for reasons we don’t know. Though we can make some obvious assumptions: 1) to prevent larger companies from stealing his deals thru the back door. 2) The sensitivity of the project. Likely dealing with government officials in both the US and Mexico in developing the centerpiece infrastructure for the N. American O & G industry.
The deals have grown significantly since 2017!!! We were dealing with a $1.2b project then.. now what, $7b?
So, where will it go? According to Pennystocktrader2’s chart. This is a $3 stock worst case scenario. Some say $20-$25. And there is a lot of info we just don’t know at this point. Our hope is that it will be unfolded in the coming weeks!
100% agree, Macod.
Is this THAT big? Trump?!
I believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To clarify why I think July 1st is the earliest and most likely Announcement Day:
This is when USMCA/ T-Mex agreement Commences
AMLO has said on numerous occasions that the agreement will "bring the arrival of foreign investment".
HOWEVER, things NEVER happen when they are supposed to in Mexico, so luckily the US is involved. I'd put my "at the latest" date as Monday, July 20th. I say this because it is on Mondays during the morning conference that AMLO likes to present progress on major infrastructure projects. The 20th will be the third Monday after the USMCA/T-MEX becomes law and a well overdue time to present his plan to rescue the Mexican economy. And sadly more importantly, to rescue the CFE. All of which, Mirage plays a key role in.
End of August, zZacattack!? You sound like you've had your nuts handed to you too many times with regards to timing on this stock.
I'm with you Ibow, dollar land will happen once AMLO announces the projects. July 1st at the earliest (and the most likely day) in my opinion.
Between that and the actual breaking ground on construction, those events are what further solidify in my mind that this is real. And if it solidifies it for me, then I know it does for the market.
Like Penny says, "my pea size brain can't wrap my head around this."
If we who are in deep and long, and also have the facts printed on our minds, struggle with the reality of a Billion dollar penny stock, how much more those who are new and know nothing as we do? They hear of this $4 Billion dollar partnership with ears full of unbelief!
DC, my take is that we don't see revenue projections until MX declares the projects/hands over the leases for all three projects. Hopefully that day is July 1st because all eyes will be watching.
Numero 3!
I agree, Macod!
July 1st would be an excellent day for such an announcement!!!!
They have singled out the other private companies working on the various aspects of the Istmo de Tehuantepec
Worst case scenario is only Northern Hem is singled out initially..imo
I've been carrying 20 pesos in my wallet over the last several months as a token. With the cleared air today, this has never been a more attractive investment.
Go $MRGE$
Double digit $$ PPS
Feels good to be back at 8 cents!
Dc, perhaps $3 or $4.. but food for thought,:
From a CEO who expects $15-$20 a share, $10 per share would be him settling for almost half of what he feels it’s worth. I’m thinking $3-$4 is the worst case scenario, only accepted by a worn out and beaten down man.
Haha I can’t even believe it... it’s real!!!!
Huge. Great find!
