This is hilarious. The MMs are working very hard to pressure some selling. Notice yesterday the price held very firm in the 2.50-2.60 range with tons of volume. They have to wait until there is no retail in pre-market to press the price down and fill their short gaps. Pretty crazy what the SEC allows to occur.
That is the thing... This ticker has held this .14-.18 range for months now with a couple of journeys into .20+ along the way. People know what the deal is here and the share structure is very attractive as the float gets locked up fairly quickly. Once the name change occurs we break a quarter and then incoming news from there will create bigger catalysts. This company has come a very long way in only a year.
What the poster on SA is not taking into account is the fair value of competitors in this sector in reference to how undervalued NLST was to begin with.
There will be pull backs along the way, but this will continue trending up.
Out already? Yikes will be a tough lesson to learn. Goodluck
But you literally offered none of the insight found in this article posted on SA... LOL!
Anyone who is doubting NLST right now doesn't know a prime opportunity when they see one. They just had a huge player in the industry legitimize their patent tech and pay up for the right to use it after they were ready to fight in the PTAB process. This is a very early "settlement" on SK Hynix side. They saw the writing on the wall and wanted to avoid any injunction possibilities along with getting the best deal possible by being the first to settle.
NLST just broadened their market about 4-5 times over and also raked in $40 million in cash to settle out any debts on the books. NLST is likely to turn profitable in the next year with tons of gained revenue. Not to mention as we have all addressed, Google and friends are still on the hook for a lot larger amount then SK was. Those settlements could occur at any time considering the legitimacy this move brought to their tech.
PCT piece of **** we should start calling this one lol
I think I found the one to take over as my baby in the portfolio... I was stuck on the other one so long and still think there is potential but this thing has exceeded all expectations in a short amount of time (in comparison).

Just in case you wanted some pointers on who knows what their talking about.
Pretty sad there are people that have that amount of time to waste.
Why did you put quotation marks around wrong? You were indeed wrong. That's the problem there is zero humility. Learn to admit to yourself when your wrong about things and in over your head.
And now your an English teacher. We all know they are making boat loads of money with a high level of success. Your comical lol. Must be embarrassing to have to continue showing face here after the terrible predictions.
Clearly your making a lot more money than me posting 8 hours a day 5 days a week on a stock you have zero interest in... ouch!!!!
I tried, multiple times over to be nice and explain my position. You snapped back as if you knew it all and I was an idiot. Nothing else to be said there.
In the end win or lose, I will always give credit to those who called a certain circumstance happening. But again it seems this is really trending in the direction exactly how I have been pushing due to my little experience in these cases. The war is not over but this is a huge battle NLST has won.
Figures, can never admit to the grossly incorrect assumptions here. No trace of character.
What happened to SK getting "another look" at the patent tech through the USPTO? And now they have settled and decided to pay for licensing on the tech. Yikes tough to come back after that one.
It will always be some concerns expressed no matter what happens.
This was a strategic move by NLST to bring legitimacy to their tech. The first domino to fall always gets the best deal. Good luck to Google and friends now that an infringer has all but admitted their infringement of the tech and will now be paying for it going forward.
Where are ya bud?
This news should create an uptrend going forward. $3 not out of realm of possibilities tomorrow considering the legitimacy that SK just gave Netlist and their patents. Basically realized there was no other way out so why not be the first domino to fall and get the best deal in the process. They pay the licensing and avoid court.
Shareholders who held here should be very excited with this news.
Lol your really trying to warn everyone that NLST is speculative in nature... This is ihub... discussing penny stocks. I think you need to get a new job.
Can you provide an example of a penny stock that would be considered anything besides speculative?
I'm beginning to wonder what your even trying to get to at this point lol... It's become comical for the rest of the board.
What about being roughly +300% in the past 3 months? See that? Anyone can pick a piece of the pie and sell it to the crowd.
I'm beginning to question your comprehension... When did I ever state or hint that NLST is not a speculative stock?... Yeesh this is getting quite weird.
Not at all do I find it condescending, I'm just telling it like it is. Anyone investing in a penny stock should be very understanding of the risk... Even big caps now-a-days are high risk with the volatility. There are companies with zero sales to date and what amounts to basically an idea that are valued at billions of dollars by the market.
I think everyone here is aware of the downside in the litigation not coming to fruition in the way most are hoping, however things trade on potential which is what speculation virtually means in this case. WMT has little potential to scale itself at this time unless they find another sector to break into, therefore it is not considered speculative because you know what to expect from them YOY.
I don't know if it is by design or what, but I sometimes feel like your trying to waste our time on these conversations as you talk in circles very often.
We're back to square one. Why do people buy a share of any company on the market? Because they see potential in that company and it's future - unless of course they are day trading a chart. Potential IS speculation. If your not interested in the future here why both continuing on and on with negativity? We have heard your opinion many times over now. Let's discuss fundamentals of the company instead for once?
I respectfully disagree that it is a ridiculous statement to say $1 billion in settlements/awards would bring this to $25+. The settlement/award of $1 billion would make large time media and make it clear to the market that NLST's tech is substantial and important.
Not to mention the market is a frenzy of illogical beings with money to blow. There are too many instances in the market where not-so-bright investors have been a driving force behind the ridiculous rise in PPS of junk companies - especially lately.
I personally believe that $1 billion is pretty conservative in reference to the tech is on the table here. Obviously there are still hurdles that NLST has to make in the case in order to get recognition for their patent - but so far it looks pretty damn good.
As I've been saying there is clearly very little understanding of anything here.
This stock currently trades at a $350-400 million MC. If they suddenly brought in a cash trove of $1 billion from settlements/awards - the fair value of that cash alone would drive the PPS to $6+. This does not take into account any licensing/future payments to be had from the large infringers. The accounts that Google and friends would have with NLST would be drastically higher than those NLST currently has with other customers.
Not to mention a very healthy cash position is always beneficial to the PPS (meaning $1 billion dollars in new cash does not just raise the PPS by $1 billion as the company would be expected to expand/pay down any debt with it's new cash).
And I love the little comment at the end "It would just be a penny stock company that doesn't make money strapped hella with cash"... How many tech stocks can you find on the market right now that operate at a loss burning cash daily but yet their revenue is expanding rapidly along with their market cap? I can start a list if you'd like? How long did it take for Amazon to actually turn a profit - yet their market cap had already supplanted the $1 trillion mark.
I wouldn't disagree either if I were you. Cash comes in - price per share goes up until market decides the market cap has corrected substantially enough to account for the new cash in the coffers.
It's pretty sad this even needs to be explained.
NLST market cap hovers around $370 million - what would you presume will happen when/if a cash award/settlement of $1 billion+ is determined? Somehow in this alternate world of yours the shareholders here will not gain in this circumstance? Yikes tough gig trying to explain these types of things to an informed crowd.
What does this even mean? Accounting 101 - if a company's assets rise, then the owner's equity rises along with it. If NLST receives monetary gains in the form of settlement/damage awards through litigation then that new influx of cash will raise the price per share on the market, in most cases many times higher than the fair value of cash being added to the market cap for obvious reasons.
Same old thing...
Hired a bunch of accounting staff and made promises to shore this up due to the new hires, yet here we are again. Can't make this stuff up lol. Unreal
So their submission of everything required to get the N & S change and FINRA failing to get it done in time is their fault? Maybe they are due some fault for making a prediction on something being done that was outside of their hands, however they were likely giving that timeline based on historical data that is out there for everyone to see on timelines of N & S changes being complete by FINRA.
I could care less to continue with a novice. Good luck on this one.
Stop being so emotional. At this point it's pointless to carry on about things. But we all know, we are on the verge of a total collapse here we should be very scared... thank you for making sure to warn us.
Lol
What does learning a lot from reading forum boards got to do with anything? The discussion here leads one to read into things more in depth. It seems you think that humiliates me in some way that I'm here using this forum board to gather more information to determine what decisions I will make in the investing world. I've done very well on the penny market over the last 5 years so I could care less what one thinks on here. Especially when they are sitting on the sidelines chirping on and on about how terrible a stock is with no skin in the game - essentially wasting very precious time and effort. Speaks a lot to the earning ability of one when they harp on and on about something that does not effect their bank account one bit.
I appreciate the gesture, however, it seems to me every time you press an issue and it receives a analytical response, you then move along to the next thing. Instead why not try to support your position as you continue to argue against mine (among others) position.
Good luck in your endeavor.
People stopped reading when they saw “$800 million market cap” LMAO. The market cap is currently $350 million. This is the most basic level of understanding investing.
2 & 3 - so the case I have referenced that is very similar to this, why has the defendant (Comcast) made no such move in good faith? That case is much further along and there is recorded phone calls which deem Comcast guilty of willful infringement. Again zero experience here.
4 - Again, the PTAB, which is under the USPTO, Again no experience. And again refer to prior posts.
5 - Right they will go down LOL. Everyone will suddenly say we no longer need your services in memory as we are going to find an alternative to store our data/speeds. Again speculative with no real basis as to why this would be the case.
This gets comical.
Based on things I read on forum boards? Lol I have factual data taken from real life circumstances and happenings. You on the other hand deflect constantly to other topics. I gave you a VERY similar case in regards to this one in that multiple companies got a “relook” in the PTAB, even those the PTAB decided on the patents a couple times over. In one instance a company got a “relook” when they had zero interest in the patent litigation besides being hired by a defendant.
Only one that seems to post opinionated posts here constantly is yours truly. No facts, no reference to any cases, just speculation with no experience.
This is SK Hynix first shot in the PTAB process. Though I’ve explained this 3 times over here already and it still seems to be a topic. When there is a naked defendant they will get their due in the PTAB process no matter what.
The writing is on the wall, the PTAB decided in NLST favor and higher courts use that precedent and do only deviate at a 20%ish clip.
Yikes... it’s clear when people start posting and show little to no experience in these circumstances. These patent litigations always get driven out years due to big tech wanting to drag the expense out as far as possible as they already have teams of attorneys working internally mine as well put them to use.
Nothing in this post makes any sense whatsoever in reference to this ticker. Yikes!
