Fung_derf: It should not be shocking of a lack of institutional ownership of CYDY....it trades on the OTC...rarely do institutionals deal with OTC stocks. If and when we move off the OTC, that should change drastically.
Excellent summary of TNBC clambottler. Makes perfect sense to me. Why not try SOMETHING deemed to be safe when NOTHING ELSE is available. Why not?
Great job scooter but 2 corrections.
The share price jumped to 3.84 not 3.86 and not because of HIV.
It was due to the runup of Covid-19 patients showing vast improvements with Leronlimab AND the BLA getting filed at the end of April.
Your timeline shows a bit later that Covid-19 hit.....just minor updates to an excellent timeline!
Saltz,
Did you have physical certificates? And did you send those to ComputerShare? I have physical CYDY certs of restricted stock from Paulson and those CYDY shares in my RBC IRA are also restricted. What a pain in the butt to say the least. I'm glad I'm in no rush to sell.
I am a GILD shareholder but not surprised on the bad news today on Remdesivir....
The REAL Covid solution will be known in the next 4-6 weeks...
Powerwalker: Where did you come up with this....about Nader getting a phone call on Friday morning from DC? Seems out of left field to me...please back up your statement with some facts. Thanks!
Tomand1: I don't think this was a huge sale after the bell. Sometimes these sales aren't reported until after the market closes and I believe they are combined sales. I've seen this before with CYDY...but it technically doesnt affect the real closing price which was $3.17
Fung: Why do you suppose GILD keeps dropping? I'm a shareholder for a while.
Creationtruth: I can't wait for the TRUTH about Remdesivir vs. Leronlimab. It's Goliath vs Davey. And the truth will FINALLY come out on which one REALLY REALLY works! Hint: look at GILD's stock price the past few weeks...and even today
Agribusiness: Explain why SRNE is up over 25% on HUGE volume this morning???
Hey iluvcrap: it was 500 million SHARES traded...not 500 million TRADES. Unreal volume. Never saw anything close to that.
BlackOps: I didn't follow your statement at the end of your post -- why was Eastwood let go? Please explain your thoughts.
Win the war? Sounds great. Watch this video. For patients NOT on their deathbed. We have a 100% success rate for living. This is the REAL solution !
Stock not shooting up because Remdesivir is OVERRATED.....scientists already questioning the results....
Many of us here been through a lot over the years. Kudos to those of us who ignored others who told us to sell, who said CYDY can't get anything right (partially true), and for sticking with CYDY as the share price went lower and lower to sub .30.
I feel like a genius today...especially to all those I annoyed over the years with my incessant talk about how great the science is. Now the secret of CYDY and Leronlimab is not a secret anymore !
Congrats to us longs...and even the newcomers too
Saltz....it might be time to start thinking about Vegas again....maybe in late Q3 or early Q4 after BLA approval!
I now FINALLY feel relieved a bit about this investment for the first time since 2015! I have a bit more shares than you
Saltz- I don't recall ever seeing such a positive set of comments on iHub. We've been through a lot over the years but it's good to know that someone that has been critical of Nader and CYDY management is very positive at this point. My friends and family are getting tired of me bragging about CYDY, the BLA, BTD, etc, saying we are getting close. Well, I believe things will be a lot different a month from now -- BLA filed, BTD -- finally???
Saltz: Did Nader ever 'admit' exactly WHEN the FDA told him they wanted safety data for ALL 500+ patients?
On Jan 26 didnt he STILL expect to file the BLA by Jan 31?
A17: Correction on your 2nd calculation: SP $3 = 1.95 billion. Perhaps you meant SP $2 = 1.3 billion?
Does anyone know how to interpret the S3 that was just emailed around 4:30?
It mentions "16,033,500 shares to be registered at the proposed maximum offering price of $1.12 in accordance with rule 457c and is based on the average high ($1.15) and low ($1.09) on January 27, 2020 - which is 5 business days prior to the initial filing of this registration statement."
I just re-watched the interview with Nader and Charlie Sheen on Dr Oz.....February 2016. Can't believe almost 4 years ! This was when Charlie was being 'considered'as a candidate for a trial using Pro 140. One article said that PRO 140 could be on the market 'as soon as 2017'....hahaha
Wow....almost 4 years already since we shot up past $1.50? I believe we closed below $1.50 ever since. That may have been abit after the time that Charlie Sheen was on Dr. Oz with Nader!
Ahhhh... that's the same Maura Fleming that was granted 200,000 options of CYDY at 98 cents each with a 10 yr expiration date. I got a bunch of CYDY SEC filing alert emails the other day. The Form 4 calls it 'options' but are those really warrants ??
Nader said we have enough $$ until February and we'll just possibly do little raises afterwards. Assuming BLA filing in January as NO WAY in December (no way), is Nader saying that the new deal will pay for that BLA filing? Or is he assuming CYDY will pay for that and operations over the next 2 months before needing more $$?
So what $$$ do we get from this deal just signed today? Only $4 million? The 87.5 is SALES-BASED. Given our sales are ZERO, doesnt this mean we will get NOTHING today. And when we need $ in February....hmmm...let's see what happens.
Is the PR available yet?
Saltz.....what do you think??
No wonder he is YELLING with excitement!!
Hey BL, you said 'I have all the tax losses I can use for 2019'. Yes the tax loss per year is only $3000 but you can certainly carry losses forward forever. I had a bad year a few years ago and carried losses forward for a few years. Just sayin'
Unfortunately I believe Grip has it spot on. While it seems unfair with all these delays, money talks. And BIG pharma has lots of $$$. It sucks because people are suffering while we wait for approval.
Look at commercials for every drug -- the 2nd half is discussing all the terrible side effects!
I've always felt that BP does NOT really want to cure cancer as it will be very bad for business. Drugs (except Leronlimab) = side effects which means more drug$ to treat those side effects and so on....
I worry about when anyone says they'll get something done by end of the year. A lot does NOT happen due to the holidays.
Are we really suppose to believe Nader will finally come through by 12/31?
Mcguru - Thailand it is!! Good points about being a beautiful country with nice people. We will all be feeling great about our patience and wherewithal to stick behind CYDY all these years. This a a dream that I see becoming a reality soon. I'll also go to Vegas as well and central Florida to meet Alijca (Misiu). I also plan to retire early and go to my first winter Olypmics in Beijing, China in February 2022....assuming CYDY is SIGNIFICANTLY more than 33 cents!!!
I have almost as many shares as Saltz....through 4 different private placements with Paulson as well as open market purchases. Speaking for myself, there is no way I would suddenly sell 500k shares of CYDY. Perhaps as the price goes very high I might sell a small portion. But I'm in this for the long haul. My average is about .55 or so. If CYDY does what many of us think it will, I will retire early from the b.s. Corporate world and do some volunteer work. But -- this would happen after the CYDY shareholder message board meetup in Vegas!
Hey Blue Baron -- any idea when that interview with Charlie Sheen is from? The one on YouTube that you just posted.
I recall when Charlie was on the Dr. Oz show and CYDY was well over $1.....even broke $1.30 briefly.
Emergcy- you bring up some very valid points. I've always been a bit skeptical when hearing about how close we are to finding cures for some deadly diseases. Skeptical because it could be 'bad for business' from a Big Pharma standpoint.
And maybe BP is trying to somehow get in the way of CYDY because they know at some point soon they will be screwed in revenue.
It just seems like this whole process has been unnecessarily delayed when patients can really benefit from Leronlimab. Yes I understand we need an FDA organization to ensure drugs are safe but shouldn't we be further along by now ??
BP relies on selling lots of drugs which usually have side effects and thus they can sell even more drugs....while Leronlimab has no reported SAEs....makes me wonder....
I agree with BobbyInvest....regarding $3 million at most. I think a lot of us, including me, were overly optimistic for the last TO.
My original guess was $3 million -- let's hope we underestimate for once though I doubt it.
Saltz -- your posts are always well received. You don't post that often, but when you do those in the know enjoy them because you put everything in perspective.
It reminds me of the old commercials for E.F.Hutton -- 'When E.F.Hutton speaks, everyone listens".
Keep up the great work....see you in Vegas in 2020 or 2021!
TNBC injection :
'Any day now' -- Nader quote from February 2019
'Hopefully by end of June' - Nader quote from around June 20
'By end of the first half of July' - Nader quote from a few weeks ago
'Hopefully this month or next month' - Nader quote from yesterday.
I give up on predicting WHEN the first TNBC injection happens....
I just don't know why / how Nader can be so far off....
Zeuss you are correct. My Paulson guy mentioned that he knew of at least 1 investor that was convinced to accept the TO and that the last TO came and went before he could convert.
Perhaps we should start the guessing game in what we think this TO would bring in? I'd be very surprised if it exceeded the last one unless a good PR is released soon.
Does it really cost CYDY anything to re-open the TO for another 20 business days (that's the rule...regardless of the daily fluctuations of the stock price)?
I'm hoping more news comes out to convince those warrant holders that are on the fence. If this latest TO bombs, then what is our next financing option? Nader talks as if there is no more reason to go back to the old dilutive raises with warrants.
