OK, since every stock can be shorted naked/traditional it's a moot point... I'd want to believe the PPS was moving higher because supply/demand... Many factors make up supply/demand which Leo uses to raise capital... So in essence the shorts play a role in funding.

Comparisons are meaningless until results are known. A 1.25 PPS puts the market cap at its all time high. Back then CTIX had a brighter future with some structure in place and 3 active trials. Currently they have no active trials and corporate structure. Also, the climb to 4.95 had a much higher base to rally from unlike 6 pennies now.
