Oh yeah! She goes all over the pool with her mask and snorkel and her 'floaties' as she calls them. She jumps off the diving board (with me right there in the deep end with her) and swims from the deep end all the way to the steps at the shallow end. She's like a little fish.
Thanks G! She a mess that's for sure LOL
I sure do LOL!
I watered once today and will take a look later to see if anybody needs more.
It's just stupid hot outside. I'm not even going to the pool till later if we go at all. I did a couple of errands this morning and I'm pooped.
I came home expecting to have to water the garden....but only the spearmint was drooping...everything else looked fine. I gave the tomatoes a drink anyway.
And now I'm off to bed. (Ok I'm off to facebook to harvest my stuff in Castleville LOL)
Have a nice rest of the evening everyone!
LOL
That's precious!
VERY good info Gman....thank you
That's how our bedroom is. It's always 10-15 degrees hotter upstairs than down...but it's not TOO bad in the mornings. Around about 2 or 2:30 the bedroom gets full on afternoon sun right up until 7 or 8 o'clock at night. I couldn't imagine having to run hair dryers too. WOW.
I saw a bunny or two in my next door neighbors yard but that was it. Usually there's squirrels running all over too.
Here too. I think Kam and I are going back to the pool.
"And I toss wood-chips right in the grill-corners"
I thought you weren't supposed to do that?? So where do you put the wood chips (you get them in the grill dept. at home depot or something?) under the gas burners or?? I'm confused. (which these days is my usual state LOL)
Ok...just thought I'd ask.
LOL I haven't been in a week or two. I need my HD fix hehehehe
Kam and I are getting ready to go get her a swimming suit and then go to the pool. Then I have to take my cousin Bev and her dog Penny to the vet this evening. She doesn't have any A/C in her car and with Penny being hurt (she jumped off the bed and hurt her leg yesterday) and it being 3 million degrees outside I made the offer.
Terri's A/C doesn't work either and I've been offering to let her take my truck to work (2 hours R/T)but she won't. She says hers uses less gas. I have a Chevy Trailblazer and she has a Hyundai Santa Fe...they're basically the same vehicle but she doesn't believe me. Whatever. Sweat then.
I'm with YOU on that! We have a little family of suicidal squirrels in the tree outback.
He's adorable Andy. I wonder if he would really run away if you took that chain off?
It was probably just some trash picker taking home his new toy LOL Anything we put out that looks like it could be fixed up and used is gone within hours.
One time we out an old dresser out for trash pick up and later that night these college girls knocked on the door and asked if they could have it. It was all scratched up and one of the drawers was busted but they took it anyway. When you have nothing anything works!
One mans trash...
Please! Petco had a story on facebook the other day where a family had turned their 16 yr old pitbull mix into the shelter because they didn't want her anymore. SIXTEEN YEARS they have a dog and then toss her away.
Luckily someone got her out of the shelter and is fostering her until they can find a good home. How confused and lost that poor dog must feel.
People make me sick.
We started to get it last night...it wasn't too hot yesterday but the humidity was bad. Then all of a sudden in the evening it got hot QUICK.
I haven't been out yet today so I'm not sure what it's like...but I'm sure it's bad. They've issued heat warnings for the next 2 days here.
Kam and I are supposed to go to my cousins to go swimming...but of course Nikki forgot Kam's bathing suit so I'll have to go buy her one before we go. Always something.
These went in the first week or so in April.
He's adorable!! I bet when his ear infection clears up he'll walk right again. Is that lady keeping him or just fostering?
We have a local one here in Bowie that is sometimes more expensive than the Giant or Safeway...and the produce isn't THAT good to be paying that much.
That's true the AMish market had some nice looking cukes. Expensive though. In fact all their stuff was pretty expensive...the cantaloupes that were 2 bucks a piece last year were $4.50 the other day. Crazy! It's GOOD but come on!
I think they've bumped their heads on their little buggies a few too many times.
You know it's weird...I never really cared for cucmbers until I grew them myself. The store bought ones just aren't very good.
With those spindly little things I have growing this year I don't know LOL
Oh. I'll have to check back later then.
True. Except for our upstairs. I can stand to be up there until around 2 o'clock and then I have to come downstairs. Cape Cods don't have ANY air flow unless you have an attic fan or something.
That was my thing at dinner every night. I would get whatever the soup was for a starter...the strawberry was delicious too. There wasn't one thing I didn't like about the food on that cruise.
Stay safe Andy!
I have a whole bunch of them going so hopefully I'll get one good crop of peas.
It's too tall LOL I'll just move the buckets if I need to. Have a great night bud
It does.
Where did the nest go? I hear them but I don't see them??
I know...I'm NOT looking forward to it. With the heat index...it's supposed to feel like 105° on Thursday. Two days or not...they're going to feel like very long days!
Oh no...I noticed some whitish/yellowish leaves down at the bottom of the peas yesterday and thought I was giving them TOO MUCH water?? So they're about to go bye byes?
When we were on our cruise in September I had cold cucumber soup one night at dinner...it was fantastic!
Mine aren't getting as much sun as they were last year...mistly because the Oak tree is bigger and giving more shade...and the tree on the other side of the yard is taller and blocks the sun a little sooner than it did. But they get full sun from about 10 or 10:30 until around 4 or 5.
hmmm
