There are 200 members, maybe a few attended the meetings. We are not a family, most of us dont know each other
What do u mean? I havent met him.
How many months have u said we are close? Why is this time different?
Why do u think the wait will be over soon?
We are not a team and most of us dont know each other, some are in some are out. Everyone is pissed.
What do u mean? Im a shareholder
What do u know about the ”jordan-team guys”? I am one if them
Well it hasnt been a very succesfull strategy so far. He must be down 50-70% since his last purchase.
If he believes in the company then why wont he give them the loan to rid the collateral shares? Its a win for everyone.
Good one
Eh the share price?!?
Jyyoo u must have asked garret why he hasnt arranged a new loan, right?
Why doesnt he arrange a loan from his bank to siaf so that the collateral nightmare can end? That is the big question.
I guess Garret is a loser just like the rest of us. Wish nothing but the worst for solomon and dan
That just proves he wont be able to repay the loan. If he had the cash the loan would be repayed already
Knowing solomon he wont have the cash to repay the loan, otherwise he would already have done so. Right?
So when is it time for a lawsuit? I would feel better with solomon and dan behind bars. I am down so much it doesnt matter anymore.
Well you called him on a friday night, and maybe you werent the only caller today.
Try again next week during business hours or call solomon or call dan.
So where is the loan? You said a week ago you thought it was a done deal
Why are you and handlamera feeding the trolls? Just ignore them, you are making them flood the board.
The loan has been close for about 4 months now
Why do you think everything has been worked out regarding the loan?
What indications do you have?
Mejla mig på martin333x@hotmail.com det är inte om siaf utan HDW
Tack
So you think solomon will convert his 100 supershares to 100 regular shares????
It doesnt matter if he holds 80% voting power, a general meeting is probably required anyway
Sounds like wishfull thinking, cancelling the a-shares must be a material event and pr:ed?!
They may even need to hold a general meeting to decide the conversion rate. Management just cant decide this on its own.
Solomon and Dan have expected a lot of things during the years, i guess only a fraction has really happened.
We couldnt have had a worse management. I think a chimp would have done a better job, making the right decision at least 50% of the time
Then they should have defaulted on the loan before they started issuing new collateral shares. Doing it now is not an option. Also who else would dare to lend money to siaf after a defaulted loan?
Lets agree to disagree.
They dont have to worry about the SEC, they are allowed to buy shares. Just look at the swedish stockmarket, you have insiders buying everyday. No problem.
If i remember correctly you were going on and on about the BOD not buying shares in the past. Now all of a sudden they are not allowed to. Doesnt make sense.
I dont agree with you about stock incentive programs. They are given to motivate and to tighten the relationship between the compay and important employees. Its a very cheap action for a company, and the employee gets the stockoption basically for free. The stock option usually also have a strike price 50-100% over the the share price at the time of issuance.
Not as a compensation because they cant buy shares on the market.
And if solomon or dan would have bought shares in the last couple of months they would have been buying collateral shares not other poor shareholders shares. And just maybe that would have supported the share price so that new collateral shares wouldnt have been needed to issue and if so a lot of poor shareholders would be much better off.
Im not buying it RD, with your reasoning board members are never allowed to buy or sell because there is always deals that are being negotiated, operational plans etc etc.
Still we see a insider buying all the time in other companies.
That is really weak reasoning and im not buying it. They have had all the time in world to buy.
If i remember correctly, Dutch was going on and on about Yap not buying any shares. But i guess he was never allowed to then???
The only thing we know at his point is that Garret is as poor as an investor as the rest of us, with one exception. He is filthy rich and losing the money wouldnt affect his life.
If he knows more than the rest of us, then acting on that information would be insider trading, which is illegal. Right Dutch? And why would he risk doing that?
That is simply NOT TRUE because all the things you mention is public information. How on earth would you know it all otherwise?
The have publicly stated that they are in the process of getting the loan and the size of the loan, what they will use the loan for etc, they have pr:ed the AGM agenda.
Management is always in possesion of good and bad information about operations, finances etc etc still they can buy shares as long as they dont trade after a material event has occured but before the information is made public. But in siafs case the information was made public before the material event
How many shares has management bought from the market except for Dan?
We are trading at an all time low, solomon and dan are very well off, how many shares have they bought? Without Garret it would be game over
Haha they have had several years to buy. Come back to reality.
Why would the lenders agree to no more top up shares? Sounds like a fantasy.
Or break the loan agreement by not issuing top up shares? What good wiuld that do now? Maybe 5 million shares ago, but now?!?
Its absurd that we the shareholders have to convince solomon of the damages of the collateral shares. Any person with half a brain would easily figure this out on his own.
But Siaf is a one man show, and i only hold siaf shares.
Solomon has been saying he is close to getting conventional financing for many months now. But so far he had gotten 0. Im having a real hard believing anything he says at this point.
Yes we have been hearing that for a couple of years noe snow. All that really matters is the share price.
I wonder what FD is thinking, the chances of him getting his money back is extremely low at the moment
