I never said we're doing business with Apple. The idea that TCPS could sue Apple is pure speculation, but far from unreasonable.
Of course. But it really wouldn't make any sense for them to have gone to all this effort to revive the company, make filings etc. if they weren't getting back to work, would it?
That's just it: the company hasn't done any official communicating at all. That's why the stock is such a tremendous value now. Our tiny little group of shareholders is playing detective to see what they have in store, but when they lay it all out publicly......KA-POW
I know TCPS has done a bunch of filings on Fridays, but P.R. is different. Many P.R. pros would say Fridays are not the best day for a release. So I'm looking for P.R. next week. But I have no worries whatsoever, even if it takes another week or 2 or whatever. Don't think it will be that long though.
Well said, DJ. The patents are extremely pertinent in the present situation of ballooning need for wireless bandwidth. TCPS has the technology to make 5G a reality. As longer-term followers of this ticker know, TCPS's Lyon chip, which allows easy switching between frequencies, was stymied in the 2000's by the FCC's decision to keep 90% of existing bandwidth off-limits. They reversed themselves in Dec 2012, and the White House issued a policy paper in support of research and development of new tech to address the problem. Efforts to revive TCPS began after the FCC and WH weighed in. We know that TCPS's legal aide recently traveled to Washington D.C., between the reinstatement of the company and the recent flood of OTC filings.
Connect the dots and win a prize!
that's right
That's pretty crazy - I was watching when you posted that. Mega-manipulation is the only explanation - a very good sign indeed.
Nice close - lots of strong traders here, too smart to get shook out. Haven't even heard from the bid-sitter rage guy!!
$TCPS long and strong - don't let them steal your shares down here!
The P.R. will come when it comes. Everything that has been foretold has come to pass. The P.R. will too. No anxiety about the outcome here whatsoever.
We're here for Lycon. If Asante and the Chinese company amount to anything, it's just gravy on the big, juicy prime rib Lycon steak. Nobody is here for Asante, whatever it might be.
You've got me thinking. 1st p.r. headline could very well be "TCPS suing Apple for $5B for patent infringement."
The sources you referenced with copy & paste in msg 17677
As you and everyone reading this knows, FCC rulings at the time made the advancement of Lycon possible. FCC policy reversal in Dec 2012 has made the development of Lycon possible now. Hence, the good ship $TCPS sails again.
Good night & good luck to all.
We're here for Lycon.
If there's anything to those other companies, fine. But nobody much cares. And as has been stated before, our sources have proven correct in every particular. They are certainly more trustworthy than...well...you can fill in the blank yourself.
And if you think patent infringement suits on solid patents isn't a viable business plan, look at Immersion Corp. IMMR
That would not suck.
There has also been informed speculation that there may be a merger of some kind in the works with the private company, Softwave.
The P.R. should cover the following points:
A. We're back in business.
B. These are our assets
C. This is how we plan to monetize those assets. 1,2,3 etc.
Presumably the highlight here is how they will exploit the Lycon chip, which was ahead of its time when they developed it 7 years ago or so. FCC rulings at the time made it impossible to bring the tech to market; increasingly crowded bandwidth and the need for expanded bandwidth access caused the FCC to reverse itself at the end of last year, which many investors on this board believe caused the TCPS players to revive the company. There are manifold and really unlimited ways the technology could be applied. Cell phones, wireless devices....what I would really like to see is a mention of military applications. What would be ideal of course is if they have any deals in place or in the works that they can talk about. We know from earlier filings that they will likely be bringing patent infringement suits against parties they believe have violated their patent, and we may hear about that in p.r.
The simple fact they are poking their heads up and saying, "hey we're here, here's what we've got" will bring in a whole different group of investors. I have a friend who works at an investment firm and I explained the situation with this ticker to her maybe 2-3 weeks ago when we were trading in the low 1's. She said she'd run it by one of their "analysts," which I knew would be futile. All he could see was a dead company and my friend was sort of ridiculed for bringing him "an obvious pump and dump." Most people, even most investors and financial managers, etc. cannot or will not see the value in a play like this - but then they don't know what we know. Once a P.R. is out, the fact of a functioning company can no longer be denied. Different kinds of investors will hear about TCPS for the first time. People who've wanted to believe our story but gave in to fear and stayed out will chase.
Final thought: if there is anything halfway solid about military applications in the p.r., fuggedaboutit ...we'll all be millionaires.
Others have highlighted the important info in today's filings. The stuff that reads like Greek, such as the after-hours one, are basically the legal person affirming that what they've filed is accurate, that she has legal standing to make that affirmation in the various jurisdictions involved, etc. Excited for the p.r.
$TCPS chart insanely primed....to da moon, Alice
Upwards and onwards...congrats to all longs. See you at new highs next week.
The filings are so they can get back to business, not to manipulate their tier status. This is a company with real assets, which they intend to begin monetizing.
Low volume but we'll take it.... nice to see no selling pressure whatsoever
Nice to see our girl drifting upwards w/o an obvious catalyst...very good sign. Lime green suits her.
Don't sweat it, bro. You'll be in the black shortly. Everything we've been told has come to pass so far, just hang on for PR and news.
anybody piling in short now must looking purely at the chart and not material events. let them cover on the way up when LOI and PR hit, be that tomorrow, next week, whenever.
Classic shake-out, nothing to see here. Hold your shares.
I'm not going to link to it & not worried - but worth pointing out that our friend put out a hit piece this morning.
Good lookin' out, buddy.
Great news to see the tier change is official! Upwards and onwards.
As long as you buy before they put out a p.r. saying what the hell they've done all this for, you cannot lose. That's when the real run starts. Most of us here are convinced that their announcement will have something to do with the FCC opening the door to their proprietary technology to relieve bandwidth congestion, an issue important enough that the White House recently issued a paper on the subject and has pledged millions in research money. Don't discount the possibility that they re already working on building a partnership with the FCC, or with the military. TCPS's Lycon chip has obvious and important military applications. And we know that Pignatello traveled to Washington DC in recent weeks. Put it together.
Are you familiar with the DD on this stock? Do you understand why they are reviving the company? Good night & glta
Market Maker Surveillance Report. TCPS
http://www.barchart.com/headlines/story/10909575/market-maker-surveillance-report-tcps-mo-pbi-snv-t-lqmt-highest-net-buy-volume-with-lowest-price-friction-for-friday-july-19th-2013
TCPS 0.0450 +0.0151 +50.50%
BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3836 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2434 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2633 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. TechnoConcepts Inc (OTC:TCPS), Altria Group Inc (NYSE:MO), Pitney Bowes Inc (NYSE:PBI), Synovus Financial Corp (NYSE:SNV), AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), Liquidmetal Technologies Inc (OTC:LQMT). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net
Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
TCPS $0.022 293.42% 10,091,216 62.36% 6,089,931 37.64% 4,001,285 1,794,298
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.
For example, the chart above shows TCPS with a Net Buy Volume of 4,001,285 shares and a Friction Factor of 1,794,298 shares. That means that it takes 1,794,298 more shares of buying than selling to move TCPS higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
cheers buddy
It very well may be. If it takes 9 months, so what. Just the fact that the people at the wheel are thinking that way is certainly encouraging though. It's all very speculative still in that we have yet to hear from the company what their plans are exactly. But a good p.r. is going to be like matches to gasoline here. No one can doubt that it's far off now.
Can't respond to private messages...am being asked for a year-end price target. Their stated goal is to get listed on AMEX, so unless they are bought out first, $3 is minimum pps. Everything that has been foretold has come to pass so far, so I'm not doubting this scenario either.
If their first p.r. mentions the 5G spectrum-sharing patents in connection with the recent White House white paper and federal funding, $1 by the end of the week.
"5G" dynamic spectrum sharing patents..."the technology that the White House issued a white paper on and is making significant research funds available for"
This could make for an extremely explosive first p.r release. For all we know, TCPS may be already be in the pipeline for that federal $$$$
Nobody cares.
Nobody is here for Asante anyway. We'd never heard of it before today. If there is anything good there, gravy. We're here for the Lycon chip and TCPS's other valuable patents.
By the way, if you doubt a company can become viable through litigating over patent infringement, look at IMMR. Immersion. They created haptics for mobile devices. Several phone makers imitated their tech w/o paying them. Guess what? IMMR sued and won, and now Samsung and others are paying IMMR the big bucks. IMMR is 99% profit with little overhead; they own the intellectual property, so they cash the checks. Look at their market cap and what their stock did over the last year.
Have a great night everybody, and congrats on owning this stock.
It is really strange to watch. Presumably MM's want to accumulate more cheap before PR so they are holding it down? Maybe someone can explain how they could pull that off?
it's a nickel bag of funk!
Awesome day....thanks and congrats to all TEAM $TCPS!
