anyone know what happened to deal with T Mobile?
Is it possible that CLYW thought they had a deal when they didn't?
Otherwise I am puzzled why they linked "news" from their webpage to the article that said that T mobile had signed a deal for "seamless roaming" between cellular and other formats...
Is it possible that this is one of the deals under "non disclosure agreement" that has been referenced by the
CLYW PR dept?
did anyone notice this?
and what do you make of it?
"Agreements that are not under non disclosure have been announced"
could this be a sleeper waiting to awake?
also PR's relating to various stages of discussions with
prospective customers now would have to number easily between
15-30 seperate companies....
NOT ONE HAS SIGNED?
except the 3-4 trials....NONE of which (including China) was mentioned in the filing...
June 1, 2003
"phones expected to go into mass production later this year and ship to customers.......
and start filling the initial China Orders......."
"start filling orders"
isn't this misleading?
If China is a "trial"
so basically we are about 1 year behind schedule?

1.does anyone know if this is an actual phone?
or is this just a painted picture representing a phone?
http://www.newswireless.net/articles/031129-enitel.html
If this is a phone at least they have made some...why could they not have made 20-30 of them?
2. Has anyone seen the facility in Ohio?
or does anyone live nearby there that could drive by?
thanks.
sounds in encouraging
"At one time my account was worth 450K, but I was so smart I would not sell.
Now that account is fewer than 10K and you know what?"
You ought to go into something else...to even post here with that record is unbelieveable...and almost plain reckless...kind of fitting in with the maturity of your posts...no one here knows what this copany will do or where the stock will go...
but, Seriously, take up another hobby.
Wow.
a comment here:
If this is true that a prototype is not going to be ready until November this is inexcusable.
To have "tested" this product and PR'ed it to death for months and months and touted thed China Deal....
and then "and oh, by the way, we don't have a working model of the product, and all future deals require testing...." etc. this is just inexcusable....
The T-Mobile test should have been done with working prototypes....word is (rumor) that it wasn't even done on phones, but computers.(posted on one of these boards)
If true , this is completely inexcusable.
Sure , if you need to to go into production, that is totally ubderstandable, but to not even have working models of your phone which is holding up any potential deals...for months and months....
This is a joke.
Get it together.
Get 20-30 working models. Build them in your garage if you have to. Sign deals. Hand out the model phones.
Enough already.
I think it hinges on the prototypes and how fast the trials get up and running...
and whether they have deals "in the can" that we don't know about.
Too soon to tell.
just go back and re read the dozens of past posts you made on Raging Bull....
There are probably 15-25 people on that board that could site them chapter and verse....
Unless you are going to say you aren't the same poster with the same name from the other board....
I had you on ignore over there...
after about your 7th gaff and the wall paper posting you were doing.
refresh your memory?
what an idiot.
Calypso............Is ASNAP the future?
let us know when you find out...
correct me if I am wrong...weren't you the one crying that the sky was falling through several positive moves in the stock...each move preceded by a prediction from you about
a techical direction that the stock never took?
If I remember correctly the count was up to about 6-7 incorrect predictions you made about the stock....
most (or at least me) have made serious money on this stock...
One deal and we fly....
same as it ever was.
later.
hopefully Calypso is doing alot behind the scenes and will soon let us know where things stand...
still like the company...
a little tech fear aint gonna do it for me...
They are way out in front on the technology...let's just hope thye have good news on the way.
didn't you read his reply?
in part he explained how it depends on the end unit...in the case of calypso they are making their own end unit...obviously tailored to high bandwidth streams like voice and video...current phones etc don't obviously since this is fairly new tech...
Think about it...if the end unit (a CLYW phone) has the ability to pass x number of data through it and another end unit , say the one in the article which is used to being used for current applications can pass x minus 1000 data....
will they both operate similrly?
obviously not.
your boy in london obviously went to the wrong place.
look up the term QOS...
at least as far as the MSO's is concerned that will be part of their "package" to a subscriber....
people using crude voip over the internet from computers and such obviously have none of this....
When Calypso is dealing with HUGE companies I would imagine that even before they get into VOIP....They will have extensive QOS packages available....
Multibillion dollar companies don't roll a service without thoroughly testing it out.
Obviously.
"Did you even read the article? I am talking about VOIP not data"
obviuosly you don't even know that all the Major MSO's in the U.S. will be offering VOIP starting later this year....VOICE...as their phone service....some think it so reliable that they have publicly touted video phones which have been demoed at 30 frames per second and flawless....
their offering VOIP that's conservatively a service that will be in front of 60 million customers.....
do yourself a favor and take a course.
HUH?
get a grip...
all the cable MSO's will be deep into voip within the next 12 -18 months...
cellular is already established and wi-fi is taking off....
what kind of drugs are you smoking?
prescription for Calypso....
1.announce prototypes being currently built
2.build enough prototypes to fill all current trials.
3.announce the terms of the trials (example:China deal is a 30 day trial)
4.At the end of the trials announce any decision that has been made.
5.GET GOING NOW
6.you have a patent worth literally 10's of millions if not more possibly way more....SIGN THE BIG DOGS UP.
2 posts today?
CLYW situation:
Investors believed that deals were imminent....
whether they are or not, things have changed....
it appears that
1.A deal is announced as a "Trial"
2.Each trial is delayed indefinately due to no prototypes built yet
3.Building where prototypes being built (in Ohio) may or may not be (built) or ready for production...
no trades today?
Calypso's cross to bear....
NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH....
some examples...
1.applied to Nasdaq BB
1a.no followup changed to AMEX application...
1b.nothing heard in 5 months....
2.deals and lofty PRs about discussions with everyone from the Pope to the CEO of Major MSO's and Equiptmnt Manufacturers...
2a.deals turn to only deals if trials first pan out...
2b.problem is prototypes are delayed at least 6 months
forcing any deal/trial back along with that and now no guarentee...
3.is the equiptment ready?
3a.instead of finished prototypes we get a PR about a building in Ohio that will build the equiptment...but I suppose the "building" isn't "built" yet...
4.a news blurb on CLYW's website about T-mobile going to a seamless solution to connect different wireless protocols...
4a.never hear another word about this still 4 months later...
link on website goes to a page which doesn't even exist anymore...
what do we have?
A PATENT.
anyone who thinks we have more is sorely mistaken....
I will add that I am simply shocked with the cutting edge tech and patent to back up their product that no major players have signed on at a time when this is almost revoloutionary....
Maybe we need domino theory....
Sign the biggest player and make everyone else scramble for a solution....
Still somewhat SHOCKED we have not heard more of substance from this company.
Ragingbull down?
any comments on todays stock action...
Hope a deal is near.
the standard is 11 mbps...most mso's cap their download ...so a cable subscriber on wi-fi would get the capped max...1.5 - 3 mbps...but it's nice to know that the capacity is there if multiple users attempt access etc....
I assume that the throughput on CLYW phones is at least enough to allow video conferencing which they continually tout...maybe .5 - 1.0 mbps.....
again no one has asked and no one has explained it....
I also assume graphic rich internet access would be possible...
yeah...
accountants or auditors usually go over these kind of filings...
attorneys usually are necessary in reference to announced deals etc...
possibly their are references to that in these filings...
just an opinion.
from press release titled "white Paper"
"Earlier this month Calypso Wireless announced it had successfully completed a live demonstration of its proprietary ASNAP(tm) technology to C.G.E Distributors Corp. The demonstration was performed on T-Mobile's GSM/GPRS network in Miami. T-Mobile International is the mobile communications subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom (NYSE:DT - News), and one of the fastest growing nationwide wireless service providers in the United States."
T Mobile has publicly tested CLYW....
and approved it...see press release.
