Problem with your argument is this is not an fda approved drug. Nobody but you are implying this. Its a supplement plain and simple. As somebody who owns a nutrition company I know supplements work.
You obviously do not understand how mmj works.
Yet, some of us gave you experienced perspective and you dismissed that as well. Seriously...I get you are unhappy with the stock declining, but I always tell people that if you invest in a penny stock don't be upset if it doesn't turn into the next google. For me many of these are investments that I will never marry long term.
Difference between then and now: The company seems to be implementing a plan now.
Seems to me that everything a few of us tried telling you a few days ago have come true. I am not guaranteeing anything but the chart and volume is pointing in that direction.
You seem to be confusing a comment in a message to shareholders vs. making a definitive statement. If they said "We have updated the CUSIP with SEC" or some such thing, then you'd have a point. You are making it sound as if the last PR made those claims and it did not.
"For the near term, the Company's milestones include increasing revenues, steadily collecting receivables, expanding product offerings, enhancing the team and its capabilities, and cleaning up various corporate issues such as the CUSIP, dividend, name change, audits, and other operational issues."
cleaning up various corporate issues is not a definitive statement. It is an update to shareholders and I assume when it's finished, we will all hear about it in a new PR. Until then, you are grasping.
FEES. They've made no secret that is how they make money.
It's such a competitive world where stores don't want to be publicized for a number of reasons. We also know some outsiders have interfered with SKTO's business.
Really? Seems they issue real products too.
No, it's not. Keep in mind it's been documented that people have tried interfering with their business so they are under no obligation to post who they represent.
Montel Williams claims that MMJ is keeping his MS at bay. Dr Oz is open to legalization. Dr Gupta changed his mind on the subject.
Those old farts in congress need to be pushed aside so the Rand Pauls and others who have said it's time to legalize can do it.
Yes, true but you do NOT need FDA approval to sell a natural supplement. Word of mouth is why some people take a specific herb or supplement to fix their ailments.
We can win in the natural supplement area. Go to Whole Foods or Sprouts or a local health food store and tell me people aren't buying these things.
We have a good looking product that can succeed in this space once the gov't gets over their issues (read: old guys who still believe reefer is madness!).
I go to Expo West yearly. It is packed with vendors and products and is full of retailers and sellers from around the country. It's considered one of the biggest product expos in the country. Natural supplement is as good to me as an FDA drug approval. Sure, the FDA approval is icing on the cake but do not forget that supplements are a strong business to be in.
Research and testimony seem to back the idea MMJ is a healer. That is a fact the naysayers can't dispute so they try to obfuscate with FDA. Nobody at SKTO is saying this is a drug that will heal cancer. Studies show this but studies show many natural supplements heal or improve without SAYING it. That is the law.
We have a great supplement that can easily be a mass market product once MJ is legalized (that day is coming).
In the end, how many supplement products have solid reputations for making lives better? No problem with me if this is not an FDA drug vs. a supplement. It's natural, MMJ has healing properties and this product helps for those who don't want the buzz or high from MJ. If the gov't gets it's act together and legalizes MJ, we will be positioned for a solid product that can be sold in stores like Whole Foods or Sprouts.
FACT: Supplements help people and some products have solid reputations when helping people with ailments. For example, studies have shown a tree sap called Dragons Blood helps with ulcers and acid reflux. Dr Oz backs this up on his show. The issue is the companies that sell Dragons Blood products can only say what the product MAY do, they can't make claims. MMJ is a tricky thing because some states allow it, others don't. This new SKTO product can HELP people. Helping is good. Helping is something that spreads via word of mouth. Those using the FDA argument are looking to create more and more doubt. Don't believe the doubt, believe the product. A successful product that helps and heals does not need FDA approval to be successful and work.
There are tons of homeopathic and natural herbal supplements that have been shown to work well against a variety of ailments. MMJ has shown this too. Once studies are proven, the FDA and government will open their minds to this. Until then, what is the problem if it's a supplement that helps people? Seriously????
The government is wrong on this. Public opinion backs me up. You are wrong to call the Doctor an idiot. Really? Low blow for what?
You know what? These guys don't get it. Cancer patients I'VE KNOWN go through frickin' CHEMO which makes them so weak and frail. If a 48 pills is the alternative, I can name a ton of people who would choose that.
Sometimes I wonder why people say such silly things. 48 pills vs. harmful chemo. Hmmmm......
Spin it all you like but two days of double digit gains is nothing to sneeze at regardless of the stock.
Especially if these guys build on it with good follow up PRs.
We shall see. Based on volume, I doubt you will be correct.
Exactly. These things run on good news. If the company can build on this with news of growth or increased sales, we go even higher. It's the nature of the beast.
Share volume says you are incorrect. If the market did not accept or agree we'd be stagnant or down today. Regardless, we are up from yesterday.
BTW - stocks like this move to higher levels over weeks. Anybody who thinks a stock with this many shares outstanding is going to be over a penny this quickly doesn't truly understand how these things move.
I am sorry you are down, as am I and many others here. Keep in mind, do some DD on stocks that jump and you will see that when they are solid they move up over a period of time. I've only seen a few move thousands of percent in a day and I was lucky to be in two of them.
Time will tell, you are in this like many of us are. Let's just see where this takes us.
BINGO!
For the record, I bought in at .04. So if anybody should be mad it should be me. So before you try calling me out again, understand I am a veteran of these kinds of stocks and gains like this are not as common as you might think. Now am I saying it will last? Not too sure myself but the trends look promising and the product looks solid based on the news. I do feel bad you are down that far...just saying and being honest.
I find it telling he can't see momentum on a stock that was stagnate and trending downward. This kind of jump isn't an everyday occurance for many penny plays. Problem is he is too busy trying to discredit others.
I know the market, invested in a few of them. Nice try.
Telling to what? I didn't say where this was going. I said it was trending nicely. I am also posting cautious optimism.
My post about cars and trips tells you what about me? If I was lucky enough to walk away with a profit on this stock I'd most likely reinvest or look for other business opportunities. What does this make me exactly?
Ok, so? I own stock in this as I assume you do to so why get down on this product. All medical MJ products DO different things. Potency can vary and sometimes a customer will take one pill over the other because they believe it works better on them.
There are how many brands of toothpaste? Aspirin? You doth protesteth too much.
As are you. Let's see where this goes. Seriously, show me the news on these other products?
It's so funny that this company finally does release a SOLID PR for a great product and people come along to slag it. Argh.
Exactly! I'd like to add that how many times has this stock shot up this quickly since the declines? It is encouraging.
Fine, but it is a gain we have NOT seen in some time. As a long time penny investor who has been with a stock that was up then way down, this is welcome as it will lead to momo tomorrow. A real product always helps.
Nobody is planning to buy fancy cars or go to an island vacation with this gain BUT it is a nice fat gain after months of stagnation and decline in the PPS.
I am not cheerleading, just stating a factual observation. When a stock jumps like this on news, I've seen good things more than bad. It will be up to management to build on this news though.
Keep in mind that different products offer different results in potency and how they work. This is a welcome product regardless. Since there are so many players in OTC MMJ stocks, this one does put us out there more as a player.
Usually news will do that.
Yes, but isn't Berkeley Bio a subsidiary? They can license any product the develop to anybody. It is not unheard of that one subsidiary licenses to another.
We don't know the terms of their deal with Apel but who cares? This product sounds as if it may be a game changer.
Not true. if you are a manufacturer/producer, being on Amazon via their fulfillment program creates awareness with millions of potential customers. While it's true anybody can set up a new product on amazon, to be successful means you'd have to be the producer because Amazon takes a chunk of margin.
I own a company that reps products on Amazon. Food and drink products that ship direct from their warehouses can do exceptionally well. Just ask the guy who came up with Bacon Hot Sauce (10s of thousands of units sold on that site alone!).
Not only that but when you are first to the market with a unique product, you get that consideration from the TM office. I know this because I have filed for TMs and been approved. Anybody here using a lack of TM as a reason to fear investing in EDXC is reaching IMHO. EDXC
This is not meant as a bash but my company sells products to Amazon and the rankings of each product are not screaming selling out. When you have a ranking in the hundreds of thousands it means maybe you've sold a few units. I have products that say more on the way - it is not a guarantee that they reordered. One of the CENERGY products seems to be moving but the overall ranking is still too high to be selling dramatically.
My money is on the marijuana business.
This isn't a scam. Amazon doesn't buy scam products, I agree but please do not say products are moving quick when even the rankings do not back that up. Some of us are long time holders who bought at a much higher price than the stock is trading now and tire of people saying stuff that isn't true on both sides of the coin (haters and optimistic pumpers).
bodybuilding websites are key to us seeing growth. Amazon is just a credibility builder regardless of sales. The vending machines are very intriguing.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Reading those letters shows that the person in question had an agenda. Agendas should be outed.
