"Our ability to use our net operating loss carryforwards (“NOLs”) may become subject to limitation, or may be reduced or eliminated, in connection with the implementation of a plan of reorganization. We have adopted a stockholders’ rights agreement and the Bankruptcy Court has entered an order that are each designed to protect our NOLs until a plan of reorganization is consummated."
The 10Q. Do you gave any experience on this. Looks like a very complex process. I cant wrap my head around it yet
I saw this as well. Looks very complex. Anyone ever experienced this before?
Looks good to me!!!!

Great news!!!! Glad I'm holding!!!
Same here. Just waiting on real news. I know full well this is a gamble but I believe they will do right by shareholders.
Ok thanks. Must be my service right now then.
Am I having internet problems or are the dockets gone from Prime Clerk?
Right and they purposely misled investors. The attorney himself said he had been working on it a year. They paid bonuses to their execs which you cant do in bankruptcy just days before they filed. They even made that large payment before they filed making everything seem like everything was ok. I remember arguing with people over that then boom they file for BK? Completely ridiculous
Surely you know a meteorite is the sole property of the owner of the property it lands at right?
If that were to happen and it was of more value than the destruction cost... then yes... that would be as well.
Good info! JCP definitely misled investors on this whole process.
Long time ago they said they had a plan to turn this around.... so I started buying just about every Friday. Turns out that's a good time to get cheapies from day traders exiting, but it's also my pay day. I admit I argued that they were not going to file for bankruptcy. Then boom. It was filed. Idk. I feel like they have one last chance to make it right with longs. If they dont I sure wont invest or buy anything from whatever this becomes lol. Not that one person matters, but I really think they will want to keep their loyal shareholders. Guess we'll see. Note I do not promote averaging down. I understand the consequences of what could happen here. At this point it's all or nothing.
Lol I've been buying to leverage down. I'm upside down on this but I still have faith they will do right by shareholders. Fingers crossed. If not... well I'll lose a lot lol
Well actually years ago I posted on here too back when it was like $15 lol. But yes it was one of my more recent posts
No, we were discussing stores in our area at that time
JCPNQ toast and you bringing in the Jelly. Feed me more!
I made $$ off Sears. Upside down on this one. I think this one has much more potential and will work out in the benefit of shareholders though
Yeah, I hope this stays low so I can get some cheapies tomorrow!! I for one am pretty excited about everything happening right now
Luckily we have covered all the reasons on this board. We know what we own here
Tomorrow, I buy more! Go JCP!
Hurry Friday! I want to buy more!!
To me nothings changed. It's the same info we already knew. Only new thing is they are letting go of 1000 employees. Most from what I understand are from Plano headquarters which already downsized which tells me a buyout must be coming IMO. If this deal they are working on goes through, I bet commons will be fine. If it doesn't and turns into a liquidation then no dice. I bet it all works out though! Everything they have done looks like good to me
I agree its buyout or possibly nothing. However, I'm betting a buyout comes
It basically says what we already know. The best outcome will be if this deal they are working on goes through. If the company is forced to liquidate then theres no plan for shareholders to be saved. So best thing for everyone is for them to accept the plan they are working on right now. Which we already were told in court.
Not sure if true but one article said most were being let go at their Plano location which is where their headquarters is. If that's true I could only imagine one outcome which would be a buyout of the company.
Anyone else wondering why PR today after they already got the extension?
Not actually in Phlugerville though
2 actually near there
