OK, lets say prices soften to 100 on a delivered basis.
take away 20+ for shipping ( it will never be 10 for shipping as some on this board claims ), 30 for production, 10-15 for trucking, 5-7 or so for loading. 5 dollars for royalties. 44% for Mexican taxes. Cotton skims off some for himself. Where is the 50 or 60% margin? Never has and never will.
This was your math?
You hit the nail on the head my man! But its all good..Ive learned to be the teacher and not the student in my years! Lol.
At Oregon State University as a matter of fact while i serve in the navy? Your question is?
Environmental Economics Yes!
I thought u were looking to do research as a possible investor? Everyone understands the zero fins issue here. Most of the posters have been here for over 12 months and more. We do not need the same recurring points issued over and over. Most here have also had contact w Bob including myself. It is an issue of trust and only invest if you are willing to ride it out which could be another 12 months or more. This company is for a subpenny is a diamond in the ruff if/when FINS are released. Just trying to help you understand what everyone here all ready does. Hope you do invest..as I believe it will make us all very happy in time.
Ahhh...You must be referring to my brotherin the Good Dolphin and The Dolphin! No we are all independent from each other if thats what you were asking. Just coincedence!
I know a few geologist that I used to climb with while stationed in VA and are now up in Bakersfield working with the oil industry. I will contact them and ask them to review some of the info available and try to disect what they can. I myself am actually taking a Geology course at the moment and majoring in Envorinmental Economics. I am very intriuged by Earth Science's. I can try my best to explain any questions but I, by no means have the experience of someone who works in a lab or has years of field experience. I'll contact them this week and maybe they can ask around with some other Geo's up there and we can get one on board!
Boom...Hahaha Kub! Awesome~
Wow...another sweet looking vein! Awesome Pics Rocket~ You Da' Man!
And you have the proof that it is not?
Would love to see a good ol' POWER HOUR!
Etrade..No Probs here! $9.99 per trade
And thats just the Coloso Vien!
Bao is big in the biz..if they even have the slightest interest in Baha 14 and Cotton, then there must be real value/potential of some sort. With their experience and their knowledge and their people reviewing our company and our iron I would think this deal will commence. Pics with Bao as recent as 3/29 on Baha 14 and they have been around now for almost 8 months. Huge interest from Bao. I would also like to think if they are investing in a new plant on site that we will see lots of new equipment being added to meet export goals!
Yes..glad to have broke the dry spell. Hopefully we get a second PR eom giving us some financials! Would love to get this CE lifted! But as I have stated before I am LONG on CWRN. At least 3 years before I start to look for real value and operations at optimum output.
Shorty - Friday the 13th!
Shorty new song "Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills" bahahaha!
BOOOOOOM CONCENTRATION PLANT AND BAO STEEL! CONFIRMED~
I will be looking to add more soon...hard to pass up the 3's~
Stop by Malibu and pick me up on the way!
Very typical in mining! An NDA could take several months to be lifted to allow time for stipulations, benifits, options, fees, legal issues, rewriting of terms, plus I'm sure Bob would like to make sure that he is getting the best deal possible, so he will want to prove as much as possible in regards to the amount of ore in the concessions and the quality of ore. Not just across 300 meters but across as much as baha 14 as possible. Terms of contracts will rely highly on what is known and not what is speculated. Ive seen non disclosures go for over 2 years so we could be in for a wait. Me and my group have set a 3 year waiting period and will be adding more as time goes by.
Still looks undervalued! I dont know what u think nor do I care...haha!
Market Cap 16.3 million...way undervalued! I don't care if you cry poor ore quality ((even thou it is not)) or whatever you want to cry...this market cap is way LOW! CWRN should be posting at least $100 million market cap with or without financials!! Even if they were in debt $20 million ((which again they are not)) this is still an undervalued stock~ AT LEAST 100 Million PPS should easily reflect .025 or higher.
The only thing anyone buying/selling CWRN needs to know when looking at where the stock base should be trading!
Don't get caught short....when this runs you will be done.
CWRN LONG AND STRONG!
Unless Bao is buying us in which case that would mean everything is NDA.
I've got years and years to wait...no hurry hear! I'm sure I will see more then a few updates in regards to all between now and whenever! Hence the term LONG and STRONG! My group has actually agreed to a 3 year period of when we believe the optimum value of CWRN will be in place. Turning myself back into hibernate mode. Argue that if you want but I won't bother replying.
CWRN LONG AND STRONG!!!
B-I-N-G-O
Both Pan American Mineral and Cotton Western are registered with the State of Nevada and both buisness license are valid and in good standing. Cotton Western expires in Dec 2012 and Pan American in May 2012. Why would Cotton Western register with the Secretary of Economy in Mexico as a forein investor if they were planning 15 months ago about incorperating into Pan American? I would have delayed too with all that has become over the course...whats your point? Both are registered in the US and Pan American operates Baha 14 under trust. Did you not read that whole PR from Jan 2011? Pick and choose....15 months of nothing but post bashing CWRN tells me you work for a special interest group. Not that I didnt know that 15 months ago. Good Luck...I bet even though you are bashing you're probably holding too! You know a good thing when you see it! Haha...Awaiting your next negative post on how we are so broke! Nite Nite~!
As discussed already SB! Bob said $250K for operations per month, figure $200K for trucking and we ship $5-8 million of ore a month. Take away the 450k as mentioned above and I still see 4.5-7.5 million in revenue, now taxes get added in and we still have 3 to 5.5 million~ Did I miss something? Maybe shipping...if we pay full cost another 800k-1mm more at the low shipping rates that exsist today~ But I presume after the first year we are now negotiating better shipping rates, maybe even ZERO if we are selling at the dock.
Now are you trying to tell me that we might be lucky to be left with nothing? I'm sorry SB~
Not what I'm seeing here...read the foot notes at the bottom as well! Looks like Mexico is decresing the tax year on year and also allows for equipment deductions of 87% and incentives to diesel purchased and used on end equipment. Much more going on then a flat tax, what planet did you draw your assumption from we are paying over 40% taxes? Maybe you should do some corparate tax classes. Plenty of other things going here..not to mention look at all the other countries tax margins? Were you expecting to tell me something to deter me from CWRN?
http://www.pwc.com/en_GX/gx/mining/pdf/global-mining-tax-comparison-Dec2010.pdf
Good Luck!
To be honest I believe he is making plenty of money even after taxes! This is why I have been quiet the last 2 months...I really don't care what anyone has to say bashing the company because in reality they are mining (((moving dirt))) which ever you prefer to call it...piles upon piles of ore, trucking, wheeling and dealing! Estimated 100 million tonnes of iron at $150 per ton is $15 Billion Dollars...I'm sure that as an investor in a start up; that has that kind of operation going on, in its infancy getting in like this at these prices, I and they will do just fine, as well as Bob, Sharon and the rest of the gang!
Can't see another sub penny with potential like CWRN. You find me another investment that you think is as good or better and I will pull all of my shares out and invest in it...feel free to take me up on this anytime~.
GO CWRN...LONG AND STRONG!!!
GO FLYERS~STANLEY CUP BOUND!
The 30% tax on iron ore and coal producers passed this week by the Australian government may raise the prices of those commodities but will also shrink margins of steelmakers, analysts say.
[tag]www.mining.com/2012/03/21/aussie-tax-may-have-silver-lining-in-higher-coal-iron-ore-prices/[/tag]
“As far as tax on iron ore is concerned, there may be some kind of price rise globally, as miners will pass on the cost to importers. However, rise in coal price may have negative impact on margins of the steel manufacturer in the country, who mostly rely on coal (coking coal) import from Australia,” Indian media outlet Zeebiz.com quotes Basant Poddar, Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (Fimi) Southern Chapter Chairman, saying Wednesday.
The Australian Senate earlier this week approved mining legislation that imposes a 30% tax on coal and iron ore miners, allowing the government to take a larger part of profits from a mining boom pushed by Chinese and Indian demand for raw materials.
The new tax, which will become law on July 1, is expected to harvest about US$12 billion in taxes within three years from mining giants such as BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Xstrata.
Indian power companies are currently grappling with an increase in the price of thermal coal from Indonesia due to that country’s recent decision to benchmark to international prices, and now steel companies are also bracing for a hit, notes Daily News & Analysis (DNA). It quotes another analyst forecasting a rise in the coking coal price:
“We expect the coking coal prices to be impacted by around 2-3% once the tax is brought into effect which could translate into over 1% impact on steel companies’ realisations,” said Bikash Bhalotia, senior analyst with brokerage Pinc Research.
Gujarat NRE Coke and Bhushan Steel, which own coking coal mines in Australia, are likely to be most impacted, states DNA.
YES THE ELUSIVE MEGA MAGMA... YES! Haha~
Wouldn't it be something if all 4 veins were connected under the overburden and were just the tips up a MEGA UPLIFT! Say we strike IRON 10-20 meters down on the new drill holes and this continues all the way over to the next named vein and it goes in all directions to the other exposed veins! WOW Something tells me BAHA 14 is BIGGER then most have taken the time to consider! Is it possible?
I'll just leave him be to do his job. I dont want to clog up his email account and have him miss valuable messages from clients, buyers, shippers, Bao...etc..He's doing just fine!
Put in a bid for another 243k at .0041, looks like I got a partial fill. NEWS SOON!
Im in no hurry..ACCUMULATE!
LEVEL 2 ANYONE?
Watch out for eod buying run from whoever bought that 12 million share block. 20 grand can make this pop quick...if buys are in at the ask. He may be setting himself up with a nice investment now to turn later. Maybe sooner than later? Maybe more chips in his pockets!
