S&P futures are not giving much of a direction so far, mostly flat.
What is the go/no go decision rule?
All three must agree, or two of three, etc?
Thanks.
If you could only watch one of the triad which would it be?
What does "RFC" stand for?
TREND1, In your survey of chart time frames and indicators have you found anything that stands out as common across time frames in showing the start of a turn Up or Down?
. . .or at least a "best" indicator?
My move to Flat at 1434 (NYT) on 23 June was not the best move available. It "would have" been better to have covered/bought about 1130 on the 24th.
My model has been tweeked to correct for that. . .hopefully.
Meat computers make those kinds of mistakes because emotions disrupt the decision process.

In early after hours, although FAS is still Up, it is close to the edge where it could go either way Monday AM. It will depend on what happens over the weekend in the news and the Futures action Sunday PM and early AM.
Traders were buying little intraday dips for most of the day.
I missed a couple of fairly good entry points for good intraday trades because I was distracted by other things, so I focused on doing smaller scalps when I could.
FAS continues Up.
So it goes.
Too early.
AAPL stated yesterday that all cell phones have antenna and signal strength problems to some degree.
Hence, what is needed is an unbiased third party to test this notion with various generations of iPhones, Android phones, Blackberries, etc.
Let's see how they all compare in several different venues.
Playing with iOS4 I missed an entry here, didn't have alerts set, etc.
May pick it up later if opportunity occurs.
GS is positive but not helping the sector much.
FAS: Flat now.
FAS: Now Up.
ESU0 (S&P 500 Emini Futures) trending higher based on my intraday model.
Up, presently. . .but much can happen between now and the NYSE opening at 0930.
22.25 level no longer applies.
FAS continues Down.
Correction: Should be 21.95.
I agree.
My FAS trading suspending until the AM.
FAS trend is Down.
Do you suppose the guy who posted the video is short AAPL?
Wouldn't that be a story!
Like I said, there are more tests in the hours and days ahead.
It's an empirical question; the best kind.
That's a simple and powerful demonstration. Anyone with a new iPhone can attempt to replicate it.
We should know soon enough if it's consistent and robust.
If so, the consequences for AAPL are not good.
And indeed this may explain SJ's issue with his iPhone during the initial presentation.
FAS will be Up again if it rises above 22.25.
I'll be away for about 30 min.
Here, yes. I'm always looking for something new.
;)
Ah, I missed the Up arrow when I scanned it.
FAS: Will exit to Flat if FAS reaches 21.85.
Out as stated.
Uh Oh, Is Apple's iPhone 4 A Lemon?

What would that do to the stock price, if confirmed, and a large recall is needed?
TREND1, How are BGU/BGZ doing in your view? Are you trading one or the other?
FAS: A cautious Up. High whip potential.
My Apple Store App stopped working when I installed iOS4, but now is working again following a reinstall under iOS, however it doesn't show when my device is connected to iTunes.
Yes. That's the scary part. Calmly stated prophesies are easiest when there's no money on the line.
There was a re-short opportunity for FAS yesterday about 1530 (NYT).
Retrospection.
FAS continues Down. I'm flat, too risky to short here without a rebound, failing rally.

Hefty and pricey.
iPhone 4 review:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/22/iphone-4-review/?ncid=webmail
"We're not going to beat around the bush -- in our approximation, the iPhone 4 is the best smartphone on the market right now. The combination of gorgeous new hardware, that amazing display, upgraded cameras, and major improvements to the operating system make this an extremely formidable package. Yes, there are still pain points that we want to see Apple fix, and yes, there are some amazing alternatives to the iPhone 4 out there. But when it comes to the total package -- fit and finish in both software and hardware, performance, app selection, and all of the little details that make a device like this what it is -- we think it's the cream of the current crop. We won't argue that a lot of this is a matter of taste -- some people will just prefer the way Android or Symbian works to the iPhone, and others will be on the lookout for a hardware keyboard or a particular asset that the iPhone 4 lacks -- but in terms of the total picture, it's tough to deny that Apple has moved one step past the competition with this phone. Of course, in the hyper-accelerated smartphone market where the Next Big Thing seems to always be just around the corner, it's anyone's guess how long they keep that edge."
Short covering? Not Much.
Signal continues Down, but I'm Flat until the AM.
