Actually, it was to watch YOU do the karaoke! I still have that Little Willy song in my head!!!
Twice...that's great! He is going to start seeing flashes when they aren't there!
It is true. I was just giving a suggestion that I and other people have done. If you are in the south, then Atlanta would be an option. Also, there are cheaper ways to travel...you can carpool or take the bus. I took the bus to Pitt, then shared a room so the expenses were fairly low. I know it is not easy, but few things worthwhile usually are.
yep! That's why I went to Pitt even though I didn't go to the class. Great times!
Hey Mel...how's robot??
It is a difficult process and you may have to walk away for a little while. What some people do that can't make the actual class is to come to one or more dinners during a Monkinar. That way you can at least get to know the people you are chatting with...that is as much a part of the Monkinar as the actual class is, imo.
butterfly just posted some great information. I understand that not everyone can get to a Monkinar because of finances, but a Monkinar focuses on daytrading and you have to have at least 25K in order to daytrade (not Monk's rule). So, even if you get to a Monkinar, you won't be able to use the daytrade information right away. You will have to swing trade in order to get up to the 25K minimum. Yes, swing trading is covered in the Monkinars...just not the focus.
Wow...that is a creepy comparison! Very funny! I think Golem is a bit cuter than James though! LOL!!!
Welcome to the crew!!!
What's Starbucks? Great post, Jason! I think it is great that you posted this for the veterans and especially some of the newbies. We have a great team here and this is a very important time for our plays. Holding long and strong!!!
Well, at least you had fun!
Welcome grooverider! Sorry to hear about your father...it is very tough to lose a parent. You have a found a great place here...the people are great, which you will find out when you get to a Monkinar. In the meantime, let us know if you have any questions and enjoy!!!
Yummy...did you have a crab feast?
Connie is awesome and she is a great person for you to have met with! Personally, I don't post on the CDIV board much just because of all of the bashers. I do post when I add to my position. I understand your point though. Happy to have you on the team...see you around!!!
