Baderbob....are you still out there...? Have you heard any market buzz on your side about ONCO press release? Way back when we saw the May 4th release, your information seemed to have good foundation. Anything new in process...?
Great objective intelligent and informative posts by Grant and Lazyeye.....gives the investor the ability to see all sides of a company and our situation at hand. I personally want to say thank you to both of you for contributing to our board. We all need to take objective views such as these on ONCO.
After being involved with ONCO for the past several years, and speaking "live" with Dr. Walker....and listening to his plans, and reading some very excellent objective views here on our chat board....I am not as hopeful about ONCO potential for the future as I used to be 2 years ago. I think one of the posts showed the number of press releases that used to flow about the company, compare to desert gulch today. If Dr. Walker truly cared about the investors and progression of share price, we would see more information flow. So, my enthusisam of the past has fallen off a bit....but my investment is pennies compared to the value of selling this stock off for free. So, I along with others wait for the train.
To All Investors:
I communicated with Dr. Walker today about overall investor opinions and observations. He told me that his specific path and philosophy is to 1st build a strong company that is real and not a paper company. Then begin the public relations side. And he advised that since he is the primary stockholder, his methodology for growing the company will be based on his philosophy. He admitted to being a bit old school, but feels that his approach will show the most yield in the long run.
I have to tell you all that I do still believe in Dr. Walker and ONCO potential one day. It's just been a very long wait at the train station for all of us longs....but I am certain we will all see some investor payback when the train arrives one day....just a matter of how long investors want to wait.
Lazyeye....all the points which you have observed I have made direct suggetions to Dr. Walker. Needs to go National, not local. Needs a good PR firm to get the word out. As for authenticity, yes, the post from Doc Bill is legit. I advised him that he should read the commentary on IHUB...and he sent me an email telling me that he will post to IHUB within one day, and he did. If you ever speak to him on the phone, you will see his personality reflected in his post, same person. I have also suggested that he bring in some serious Investment Bank to get the company expansion moving at a national if not global rate, but as you observe, with someone that age running the company, all of these suggestions are perhaps too aggressive for him. So, we wait. I am interested to hear Baderbob's feedback as he is much closer to the healthcare market than myself. Thx for your very informative post.
sure lazyeye....the healthcare marketplace that uses ONCO. They may only be speculating for all I know. That's the best I can tell you.
Baderbob.....I am hearing in the marketplace that another press release is coming soon.....Have you heard any industry buzz from any of the folks you deal with who know ONCO..?
Dr. Walker's last post to IHUB...Note that he said he will not be participating in this Chat Room. But asks that any investor send their ideas, comments to the email address below...I personally do not agree with Walker's approach here. Investors get excited based on speculation and work in process. Small press releases or updates can go a long way. So maybe Doc is working this business in the slow lane, and maybe it will show serious promise...but lack of flow in communications is a losing proposition if he wants to maintain interest in the company. Just my opinion.
Dr. Walker's Post to IHUB
I'm alive and well. As we all know, for obvious reasons, I can only discuss that which is publicly available and am obliged to avoid “selective” and/or “forward looking” disclosures, etc. Within those securities law (and practical) confines, it is my intention going forward to keep our shareholders (including those who participate in this chat room) posted on any news releases or other financial announcements as they occur. As our securities counsel has advised me: know the difference between present tense, past tense and future tense, avoiding the latter, concentrating on current activities and events and address past tense to a significant degree only by comparison to the present situation. In that context and for example, as reflected in our May 4, 2010 release, we are still working on implementation and startup operations for the UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) facilities. In the future we would post on this chat room essentially concurrently. Do understand, to avoid hype and “puff,” we are diligently pursuing as many opportunities as possible but, in this business, it can take a long time to bring a new business opportunity on line even if you feel you have it sewed up—and so the reports will be limited to, essentially, “done deals,” going from possible to having an enforceable agreement in place. Make sense? For a number of practical and securities reasons, I will not be participating in this chat room. However, as events occur and consistent with a more disclosive approach, to supplement the news releases, OTC Markets (formerly Pink Sheets) disclosures and the like, I welcome your comments and suggestions and will take them into consideration to the degree deemed feasible and in the interests of our shareholders. Please send any such ideas or recommendations to discussions@oncologymed.com. Hoping this hits a responsive chord, thanks for your interest in our company.
Hey Dusty.....any luck with Dr. Walker...?
Sure would like to see us return to .01....stock actually jumped to .02 at one point....but today, someone caved in again and dumped 100,000 shares for .0046 or a fat $460. As long as we have the soft touch penny pushers out there, we lose.
Sure Dusty, you can try all 3 below + his phone number direct to his desk.

hogan....looks like we are seeing some lift in the stock....I have watched it rise to .0040 in the recent past based on speculation, so you never know...add some good news and we could see more. Good luck. Good buy right now.
Good luck Dusty...hope you are successful where I have not been.....good luck. Pinks apparently give a CEO authorization to act irresponsibly and do nothing in terms of accountability to shareholders....sure applies perfectly in our case.
Way to go Lindo....now let's find Bilsbro and some of the old cronies and hope we get a caucus going here. Let's begin to celebrate a WFYW revival effort....!! Go Lindo...back to normal and HOPE is alive again.
Soon as I hear more good news, I will shout it out. Someone told me to hang on to the lampost....so I continue to hang on, I am hoping for a major quake to bring us out of the tunnel and into the light....!!
Hey GoFY....we have got to get Lindo to post here, as well as Lucknut and the old gang...
We are all equally frustrated with Dr. Walker's lack of regular information flow. The May 4th Press Release is shown on Yahoo Finance after entering onco.pk as stock symbol lookup. The last Qtrly Financial link is available on Post #5470 here on IHUB.
Hey Blue....May 4, 2010 was their last press release and financials have been coming out Qtrly. My complaint is relative to Dr.Walker's statement to me that after the May press release, we would see Monthly releases. That is where he fell short, but your statement about over one year is incorrect.
Thx Bader for your input. My problem with Dr. Walker relates to him telling me that we would be seeing monthly press releases starting in May 2010 and forward. Well, we saw ONE only. And that was the end of the communications flow. So he lost some credibility with me....although I still believe he has a solid plan for growth, and this will take time...and as I stated in my earlier post, he needs ONCO success to drive his retirement....so we are all in this together, investors and principals.
Hey Bader....what is your latest "take" on ONCO..? I have sent many emails to Dr. Walker advising him that "no news flow" is not good news. The investors need to hear about events, whatever they may be. He must be a bright guy, he must know about the significance of information flow and the impact to PPS...if he is building a business, as he has been, and he is depending on this business for his retirement one day...it sure seems to be a long ride. Do you have any insight here or have you heard any market street buzz..?
Glad to see a few are sticking to their guns on .008 Ask Price instead of caving in to the .0045 insane offers and sells.
It's been one heck of a long wait at the Train Station. I can wait until it arrives. Have accumulated enough to sink a battleship....have a good one GoFy...
Gofy.....you have the most current info. It's a waiting game...but I was told it would be foolish to sell my stock....so, once again, I hold. Good time to add, stock is free.
Cleanheart....I don't understand your message...??
Yes Grant...a merger might be preferable to a buyout. I don't see Walker selling anything until the PPS is higher valued due to company financial performance. While it is a long wait time between Qtrly Reports, I still feel we are on the right road with ONCO...just to see them consistently in the black is a great sign....the new contractual relationship should kick-in revenue increases by the next Qtr....has to considering the time that will have passed. But ONCO needs a flow of information to the marketplace, just to provide potential investors with some insight on the company. I think that alone would grow PPS.
Well Grant and everyone, as I mentioned many times, ONCO has very little visibility in the marketplace....and today's volume proves it. Yes, still in the black, excellent, but a bit of a disappointment in Revenue. Dr. Walker appears to be well-thought out.....this business will obviously take a long time to build, but when it does, we will all benefit. Right now the stock is essentially selling for free. Dr. Walker's acknowledgment that PPS is very important, and states that we will see more Press. Bader, if you are out there, what do you think...? I am sure if you are like me....the revenue was a bit disappointing. But we remain in the black.....ONCO will hit much bigger one day, I just feel that they need a serious financial investor to grow the business in the U.S. nationally, and overseas globally. That is the only way we will see substantial profit in a shorter term....it would be nice if a larger company bought them out or made them a subsidiary.
The sellers are your garden variety nickel-dime day traders who are tasked to make positive gain trades of $200 a day, thereabouts. So, if they can pick up $50 on ONCO, and another $50 on 3 other trades, they made their goal. Because no one with any real insight on ONCO are effecting these "sells"....if Dr. Walker was selling, we would see Millions transacting.
Bader....have to tell you, after all these years and all the recent months, sure hope the Doc has a bigger plan that he is unable to reveal to us...as he explained in his post. This stock just does not get enough Press...so it is invisible to many investors. He could use a serious silent partner to really give his company a shot in the arm and get the ball rolling.
Our PPS is becoming a joke, $100 transactions at .004....Sellers caving in all over. We need some new Qtrly financials posted to bring this back to life. Suggest everyone send Doc Walker a note asking for Financials....I have already done so. sales@oncologymed.com or see his suggested forum on his post.
GoFY.....just spoke to someone in the industry who is closer to the Execs who were running the show. Good news, Wherify is still not dead, they continue to seek Venture Capital to bring this baby back to life. So don't sell your shares too cheap or not at all, we will see another day. Still looking for Capital or Merger, just insanely tough to find in this down market. We have light...!!
Sandcrab....it is Dr. Walker. I know this because I sent him an email advising him that investors are losing confidence due to lack of communication and PPS was falling lower and lower. He sent me a reply telling me to look for an entry on IHUB under Doctor Bill. So it is indeed from Dr.Walker.
Does everyone realize that Post #5456 is from Dr. Walker who is the President and CEO of ONCO....? I am addressing my note to those who may have not recognized who Doctor Bill is....
I am waiting with my ear to the industry wall to see if they are getting closer to a Venture firm. Will let you know if I hear more. I think we are still not dead.
Thank you Dr. Walker for the clarification and update. Many of ONCO's investors are "true believers"....the level of excitement begins to taper off when months go by without any information or updates of any fashion. As I recognize this may come with expense, I have always believed that a good P.R. firm would do ONCO a bit of good, to create the level of investment interest that ONCO deserves. How many Penny Stocks can say they are in the black financially, and, adding contracts..?...Not many, yet, those penny stocks trade high on Press Release flow and investor opinion of company potential. I will always believe ONCO could use this arm of communication to the investment community. Thx for your post.
Everyone: Take a look at Yahoo Finance page today for ONCO. Strange that a new message update was posted, but it was a duplicate of May 4th press release. I wonder if someone was trying to get a new press release out and made the mistake of reissuing the old one. Check it out, two duplicates. I checked for other stocks, in case it was across the board problem at Yahoo, but only ONCO.
Just curious, has anyone received any replies to any emails that you may have sent to Dr. Walker...? The general company mailbox, sales@oncologymed.com, provides an automated acknowledgement reply. Has anyone received a personal reply from anyone at ONCO...?
Observation: ONCO's last Qtrly report covered activity thru Jan.31, 2010. At the time, Dr. Walker told me he was hoping to get the financials issued by May 22nd. He actually beat his own projection with an update on April 19th. We are currently at July 29th, and no financials. If he was to issue numbers by his original timelines, we would not see 2nd Qtr financials until August 19th or 20th. Everyone reading this note should send him email encouraging more NEWS more often....I tried to do this alone, but need your support as well. Sales@oncologymed.com
gofyw....been right here along with all the rest of the longs waiting for the Wherify Train to resurface. Listening to the industry buzz.....the stock is not yet dead, venture capital still being sought and/or merger partner. I maintain as I always have....if this was a rumor, why didn't the debt holders call in their chips and force Chapter 11. Anyway, we lost the whole crew of the Yahoo guys....wish they would all come back. Lonely over there...!! Take care and great to hear from you GoFY...!!
Great post Scriz....most of us longs feel the same sentiment about ONCO. It's easy to get shaky when you see insane trades at .0055. Only choice, stay on track and don't cave in....thx for the post.
Could see a sweep of luck hit this baby pretty soon. Heard some positive buzz about Venture Cap freeing up. Could be the beginning of a new train ride on Wherify.....fingers crossed.
