making, I think you hit the nail on the head. Take your 5% theory and apply it to flipping this stock. Many here have down played the ability to flip XKEM and do it in a profitable manner. If you have $50K to play with, this stock is a flippers dream. There have been countless times where 5% has been available for flipping, I would think that it presents itself at least once a week.I realize that short term gains are a bite in the ass, but take a couple of minutes and run the numbers on flipping this at even 3% a shot, I think you would be surprised at what you could make in a years time.Especially for the person who has nothing to do except watch and post on this thread all day everyday.I know that alot of the 'big shooters" here look down their nose at walking away with $1K (net) per play, but for some I would have to believe it is a pretty good source of supplemental income considering that same money would make you about $2500.00(gross) sitting a CD for a year. JMO.
One can see why the companies advancements can be measured on a yearly scale as opposed to lets say a monthly one. JMO.
It's almost unbelievable that Burg would not know if the loan was or was not completed! This is a major event for the Co. that has been in the process for what seems an eternity. Why would Ex-Im Bank post such info on their site if it were in fact false.Burg is by far one of the least informed IR persons that I have ever seen involved with a publicly trade company.Apparently the man does not care about how foolish he makes himself look by being so ill informed about the companies advancements. JMO.
In adhering to SEC guidlines, is the 8k supposed to be out today? Thanks.
light, volume is definatetly the key. I really don't think we are going to see any substantial volume(30M 40M, etc.)until this picks up momo from some outside sources. We need to get back to being mentioned in traders newsletters and being profiled on sites. I know that in doing so we will not garner any long term appreciation but at this point with the Co.giving us nothing for fuel that's really all we have going for us. I'm sure Margie will be filing to dump another 25M shortly, and with the low volume days we have been having there will be nothing to offset that to any extent. JMO.
Who is it from the board that is going to be meeting with Dr. Pandey on the 26th? Thanks.
Volume is dismal but I'll take a green day anyway I can get it.(well almost anyway).
making, could you posibly get some funds and avg. down your current position? If you truely believe in the Co. and product and have already invested a sizeable amount at higher levels these levels could really help you out if your timeframe here is another 9-12 months.I understand your frustration, I'm red to the tune of about $25K as we speak.Such is the world of penny stocks, they can make you a fortune very quickly but by the same token they can break you just as fast.Patience is really the only ally one has at this point, once you lose that you start making poor choices at least I've found that to be the case for myself. JMO.
bigdaddy, are you going to get a chance to visit Dr. Pandey in Toronto today? That's your neck of the woods isn't it?
zen, I should have been more specific.Let's say we get something like double the anticipated revenue numbers, production levels that have exceeded expectations, etc. I realize these things are for the most part not very probable but could be possible.JMO
Should get the loan news by the 8th, might get a small pop but I think for the most part it's already factored into the pps.Positive, unexpected news is where we will get some movement up, the items we seem to have been talking about for the last few months just seem to cause a flash in the pan. JMO.
In browsing thru some of the do's and dont's of the SEC Quiet Period rules and regulations I saw virtually nothing that should be keeping the Co.from giving the public info on events that have taken place up to now.Much of the QP deals with IPO's and some has to do with the value of a company dollarwise.I don't claim to be an expert in any way on this subject, but find it to be a lame excuse at best for why we are not getting pertinent info in a timely manner. JMO.
It's a shame that transam73's sample press release will most likely fall on deaf ears(eyes).Talk about a truthful, meaningful, and accurate piece of work, I couldn't imagine any professional firm coming up with anything better than that.Very well done.
This is great, but in the article Prof. Akinyanju makes it sound like there is very little currently available for treatment of this disease.A state of the art facility(especially for that area of the world) is currently being constructed that will meet the needs of the people in question and he seems oblivious to it all.How can someone in such a position not know about the advancements being made in the very disease that he deals with daily??? Again it's almost like the only people who know about XeChem are Ihub board members. Can this truely still be such a secret to the rest of the professionals who deal wit SCA on a daily basis. JMO.
I feel that with our current IR we are simply dealing with old school outdated philosophy and ignorance(meant in the way it is defined by Websters)and giving him the benefit of the doubt, overworked.Years ago I worked for a medium sized manufacturig Co.(approx 60 employees)I was the shop superintendent and we had an individual who was the plant manager, about 65 years old at the time. He was a super guy, but when it came to making decisions as far as advancing the Co. and moving things forward he failed miserably. One day the owner decided it was time to make a change, the man was relieved of his duties and I was the unfortunate one to take his place. I will admit I knew very little about the "business" end of running the Co. but what I did know was how to pick up the phone and contact outside people who could handle the shortcomings he had left. The Co. prospered quite well and moved forward.I know this sounds like a simplistic analogy but for me I see this ever so clearly with what we have before us now. JMO.
Stopped home for lunch, read this post and couldn't agree with it more.75% of the puzzle pieces have been put in place, let's not let the remaining 25% be the stumbling block. Most of the leg work has been accomplished over the last couple of years, why not focus on the easier aspects(i.e promoting the Co. and product to potential investors)and add some value to this.I realize they probably have their hands somewhat full with current doings, but I would have to think that for a couple hundred grand at the most they could retain a very reputable PR Co. that would do wonders.I know it's easy to be an armchair QB, but these things seem to be elementary in comparison to the accomplishments they've made up to now. JMO.
drifter, looks like you will get your shares this A.M.,then it can go straight to a nickel. BTW, I'll make a phone call and make sure that goes as planned. lol.
light, in your opinion do you see the share price doing much before we get 2nd qtr figures? There is going to have become a time when buying intertest takes off with this Co.Off to the real world of meager wages and continual frustration, i.e simply going to work. Will check back at 4 and see how the day unfolded.
Looks like the enthusiasm surrounding the loan news is only being exhibited by members of Ihub. Then again, why should this be different than any other day in XKEM land.JMO
Hey, where I'm at amateur hour starts at 10P.M. and drinks are half priced!
Is that E.F Hutton I hear talking?lol
Spending a little time in Sin City is he?
We missed the best part of his observation though... the end of the day run. With any luck we will get that this A.M.
Agreed, just that I miss his upbeat gung ho type posting when we get something like this come down the pike.
Surely would have thought BigD would have chimed in by now.BigD, are you out there lurking?
What we need along with the loan news is some guidance as to where the 3rd Qtr may be.I,m sure the good doctor has run the numbers time and time again and has a pretty good feel for what will be taking place by the end of September. JMO.
I don't see how anyone could even come up with an accurate number when your dealing with a security such as this. With so many people in and out i could see that # being skewed considerably. JMO.
Is there any advantage to the Co. in keeping the share price depressed? I'm sure that Burg and Pandey both know that positive, truthful, and accurate news would boost the share price somewhat.JMO.
rattling, with as many people involved in the loan process that has been taking place for months I'm sure there are many many more holders of XKEM than we think.Even though it is on the OTC exchange you've still got alot of people who would be willing to throw $5K, 10K, etc. into a Co.such as this. It's not every day that financial institutions are willing to lend $9M to a speculative venture, led alone one that will operate in Nigeria. JMO.
We have got to get a break fairly soon, we've endured this pitiful pps far too long.If this Co. was undertaking this endeavor in the U.S the share price would probably be 5 times what it currently is. Face it,very few investors /traders look with favor on anything related to Nigeria. Along with the poor distribution of pertinent info from the Co., it is what it is.Hopefully the next 2 days will set the stage for what the next few months may offer. JMO.
Agreed, just think how many individuals (families, friends, neighbors, etc. etc)that dealt with this issue at the banks were able to load up on this at current levels. It makes you wonder how many other than this relatively small group of Ihub members know the value of this Co. Once this news is made public,it will be very disheartning if we continue to languish at these ridiculous levels.I realize most here agree that the real money won't be made until the factory is up and producing but let's hope we can at least enjoy .03-.04 thruought the dog days of summer. JMO.
Lochute, is this news relatively new?
I wouldn't have figured you for a day over 25!
I could easily see where a few of these would fit into the program.Wonder if they have PO's for any products yet.
Has anyone here taken the time to contact American Plastic Technologies Inc.(Shiller Park IL.) and inquire as to what type of products they are supplying to XeChem Intl.I'm sure one of you board sleuths has dug into this already. Wondered if they may give us insight as to when or where they will be sending goods.
What would ones guess be on a possible pr that may be the reason for this unusual mm activity?
Does anyone here feel that the MM's monitor these threads and play with the posters?
light, do you feel the mm's are loaded with shares and ready to sell once news hits? We need interest to be generated in XKEM, without volume we stay in the .02's for a long time. What type of volume do you believe it will take to get this moving? Thanks.
We that have been here long enough, know enough to keep a "tube of lube" close at hand just in case a dry moment arises. lol.
Thanks, your opinion is most appreciated.
