the .50 of this morning represents just 1000 shares traded - there is still no real support for .50 prices.
You can buy .50 right now, but you can't sell it!!! 1000 bid in for .48, my guess it fills today

my wife likes zero losses, I keep telling her by the end of this month we are up again. It is cool I made some actual returns on OGI's last bump up so I am up overall, but I will be looking way better when TWD trades above $2 again. I truly believe that it is going to jump - the only thing they told us was grams sold, they didn't mention inventories or revenues - its the inventories I am most interested in - like I said - first full quarter of domestic production, processing, open client registration and distribution in the entire industry - TWD's next financial report will be the first full set of numbers that all future reports will be judged against, and oomparing their revenues and expenses with OGI's and others will be a little hobby of mine for the rest of the year - my goal is to compare each player in the industry in order to find returns out of mismatched prices - right now Mettrum has got to be peaking some peoples interest just on price alone
so like I said, hopefully next week the whole game changes
missed my wifes first delivery of Organigram buds, sitting at the post office, will get it out of there and into a pipe first thing Monday morning - will let you guys know how it compares to what I buy from Tweed.
As for TWD under 1.90, I would like to see that when I have more cash to invest, that or OGI under .45 again
I have to admit it I would buy at these prices too if my other pick wasn't so low as well - I just keep posting crap because I am really hoping it will be around at the prices when TWD recovers a bit and I have more money to invest - I buy about once every couple of weeks, yesterday it was $600 on TWD @ 1.91 CAD, and I couldn't look anywhere else for a deal when that price is around and I have some money to invest!
as long as this stock is floating under .50 CAD i will be interested for sure, but I need to see higher TWD prices before i can get involved
it is true, they are just making revenue
I am just trying to make the point that it is a new industry - but with at least 13 competitors that started at about the same time as OGI, they have new ones nipping at their tails - they haven't made a profit and they have shareholders equity of 12 mil, so a mrk val of 28 mil is high in my opinion.
You all hope OGI sells a bunch of buds and has great sustained profit margins on their sales - but this is capitalism, great sustained industry wide profit margins is no guarantee, profits bring competition, competition lowers margins, they have a lot of work to do to justify their market valuation - and they better do it quick
what the federal administration 'says' doesn't mean much - laws do. The laws state cannabis is illegal - banks won't touch it means securities exchanges won't touch it - your best bet is to find a running concern that needs a partner, if you want to take risks get in with a private company
lol, the litigation is not the reason why this companies share price is low, the reason this companies share price is low is because there is only $12 million CAD in shareholders equity and this company is still burning cash.
And the stock price is actually high, it just feels low to you because you bought it way too early when it was really over valued - you bought this company when it was priced as a profitable growing business - you won't make a return until Organigram actually is a profitable growing business
that is cool, but I think they will kick this one to the next administration to deal with - obviously every serious presidential candidate will NEED a clear and public cannabis policy to get through the election
don't you worry about that lawyer - John Conroy is just another guy making money from gangs in BC, what is going on there cannot and will not effect the long term business prospects of Organigram
the Supreme Court of Canada will not give all Canadians the right to grow cannabis is their back yards, just like a person doesn't have a right to grow a pig farm or a leather tannery in their back yard - these pot heads are dreaming bigger than Chris Perry was 6 months ago
it is the way that Supreme Courts are set up - they are elected by government to justify the government - any rational group of humans with years to contemplate justice would conclude that all laws are immoral, especially prohibition of a plant - but that won't happen :) - its the government buddy - very rarely do they let us do anything
go back to prohibition times, right as it is ending, would you put your money on Anheiser Busch or some gang in Chicago?
i think when it becomes legal in USA corporations will be ready to buy up private companies that are doing good work. The venture capital firm that owns Tilray is a good example, those guys I am sure have a game plan for when cannabis becomes legal in the USA. BUT, if Cannabis becomes legal in the USA Canada will want to ship immediately, I am sure all the publicly traded Health Canada inspected licensed producers have plans in place to purchase or quickly form US subsidiaries to import Canadian LP buds.
The production capacities these companies are talking about building can only mean one thing - cannabis is going to become legal and Canada will benefit due to our history with the plant. USA's political environment is simply making it hard for any real business development to happen down there - no one with real money is going to risk their funds or their jobs betting on the US government NOT destroying their plans
oh, I agree with her then, maybe there is money to be made investing in MMJ companies without the approval of HC, but I will never know
anybody wants to make money with grass in USA, remain illegal and keep as much cash as possible away from government, stupid idea investing in a corporation that is attempting anything other than laying ground work for the eventual legalization - either way investing in US MMJ is a risky proposition, when you finally get your heads out your asses down south we will be years ahead of you in commercial production capacity - and the exports WILL flow!
I have to admit I would have been buying OGI last few days if there wasn't an opportunity to average down with TWD - there was a 75k share trade today, thinking Denis and Roger may still be buying - good luck to you as well
makes for good buying prices though, not too worried even though i am down on my twd investment a bit, bought more today at the closing price, so hopefully it is all up from here
not buying anything this week, general sell off been going on in the MMPR
might put more in Tweed because I know fins are coming out real soon
getting close to buying time, but i am not there yet
dropped to .46 cents, big batches (14k) of stock available at Friday's closing price (.475) , but the stock is still dropping
24k volume so far
Book value comparisons against the rest of the industry really starting to show now, I will get back into this stock, but not before the numbers make sense, right now a few other companies look really attractive - still waiting - should make my next move by the end of the month
good luck man, it is sure to go up again, just maybe not forever...I would if I could, no cash atm
I don't like the management
I don't like the insider buying, they ought to be ashamed of themselves for how they treat the investors that invested in them. The investor has no information, how many patients or how many grams, but they can buy up stock on the open market? If this company is such a great investment at .53 why not tell the investment community about it, why not tell all the owners of this company that bought shares in the .80s that this stock is a really good deal at .53?
I think someone's cousin got a shit ton of shares at a fraction of a penny and get rid of them slowly around the .60's - this is a pump and dump stock, a scam of the highest order, and now I am taking a personal interest.
Roger Rogers already took a couple publicly traded companies on a ride up and then relentlessly down to bankruptcy, but somehow he has plenty of money left over
I am just jealous, I want to start a publicly traded company, convince people to invest into me. Buy my shares at .85, then a few months later I will buy them back at .53 and you will all love me for it
well I don't own any shares of OGI at the moment, like I said before - I got out of OGI about a couple weeks ago when it was at .54 CAD, don't know what that is in USA, but now it is trading at .475, so they lost about 13% of their value recently - anyways my mention of TWD was just for comparison purposes and to discuss the market - seems to be rising demand for at least some players in the MMJ market, but I guess that is not showing on OGI's market valueation - I have public stated nearly every move I have made just to try to help you all out
I am trying to stay in the Canadian LP market space without losing capital, and so far I am doing a good job at it, I made money trading OGI and want to get back in soon - at the right price of course, will let you know when I do - I just keep an eye on the news and the numbers - do direct comparisons when I can to see how everything matches up - this is basic horse trading
I think when Organigram can rightly state they sell more than 2 kg's a day than they will have a much better valuation than they do now
Has OGI come out publicly and stated how many grams they have sold during any period? They keep talking about demand and patient registrations but no numbers, just some production figures and sales numbers.
Tweed in the 2015 1st quarter sold 165,000 grams - they are setting up to be the dominate players - think my investment strategy of going all in on TWD may look start showing some returns today!
Tweed continues to grow. Selling 1,530 grams per day Jan 1 - Feb 18. Increased to 2,195 per day 2/19 - 3/31
I just don't understand why the stock prices keep going down, I get it with Organigram but not so much for TWD, BED
There is a curious situation going on where the stock is trading lower than the price at which a director of the company purchased 100,000 shares with his own personal money on the open market
how low will she go?
curious why you think 60 days, is there a general slump in the markets around tax time or something, i noticed a general selling more than buying thing going on
for sure, at Tweed or Organigram's best prices my wife's prescription would still cost way more than our mortgage and electric bill, but when you drive your wife to the hospital because her eyes are 'foggy' then all bets are off, my wife will get the best damn medicine available and we will still pay our bills, so I just do what I got to do to make that happen - PERIOD
i grow, and supplement with LP supply - call it R&D, my wife got ill at a time when Tweed or Organigram wasn't registering new clients, got into the scene at a weird timing, takes a while from the time you know you need to try cannabis for medical reasons and the time you are actually legally allowed to do it - within that timeframe I grew some and started investing, I put myself through a little cannabis college using nothing but my laptop and internet connection, I made hash and edibles and I plan on doing it again - but have nothing growing atm
Crohn's is a serious disease, it became apparent my wife had a serious issue when she started losing her eyesight due to inflammation and an auto immune reaction or whatever, doctors can't explain it but cannabis helps, it relieves stress, and I can tell when she doesn't smoke as much she heads to the toilet more - with that in mind I should pack her another vape session
price is getting closer for me to jump back into OGI, the ride down is taking a while, been a bad time recently for all the Canadian LP tickers - right now I am slightly down on my Tweed investment and my wife is like - 'oh no, that sucks' but I laugh and tell her the price only matters the days you buy and sell, and anyways I made more from my organigram trades to cover those little loses - wish I could buy more Tweed, but I need to wait another week, if it remains below $2 I don't need to think about anything else, just buy.
right now you can buy a lot of OGI for .50 CAD, but no one is buying...
no sopport at .50, sorry guys but their last numbers didn't look too good - there are only about 26000 shares worth or buy orders that separate .50 with .45, that is where my order is at, .45 - so would some of you please sell your shares right now at market price, I would appreciate that, thanks
like I said, do it for yourself if you want to do it by yourself, at least that's the rule I live by with my little endevours, good luck - seems everyday there is a new idea out there
as for OGI, there was a lot of support today for OGI's current valuation - over 300,000 shares changed hands in Canada today, not even 1 pm yet. The volume wieghted average price was a tad under .50, so far my prediction yesterday holds true, not much volume in the .50's this month - we will see...
Meanwhile TWD shares are slipping so I bought more of that today, all in on that (again), won't be able to buy in again for almost 2 weeks (gap in income resulting from Jamaican trip), I'll have to wait and see. By the end of this month TWD releases 1st quarter fins - I'm betting it is going to be BIG, they got full production, distribution, and open client registration throughout that whole period - first LP in Canada that can say that - been watching their menu, high priced strains have disappeared, so did almost their entire first batch of Copper Pot Blends - so they are certainly moving their inventory and growing more than any other company out there. They will have good revenues and a big increase in inventory FOR SURE
Three weeks and we all see I am right - peace
yeah, for me I don't know about flipping stocks or anything like that.
Getting into the cannabis biz in CA - go for it, I would start with simple production - I like gardening and growing my own, I am into carpentry and do it yourself projects - consider that you can grow a reliable medication for a variety of ailments in your basement or backyard, it doesn't need to be for a whole lot of money, think what you can save.
I am an entrepreneur and I would recommend to anyone to start out whatever you are thinking of doing as a hobby if at all possible, you really need to be passionate about it if you are going to start something on your own. I wouldn't worry about governments and regulation, permits and licenses or whatever is going on there, just try whatever it is you want to turn into a bizness on your own first, be your own first customer. It is really hard to make anything work and it takes years to make anything of any lasting value - and a lot of people have a head start on this thing, so do a lot of research - a lot of times you can kill your own bad ideas by doing some business planning and market research, I have dont this quite often - don't expect to make any money at the beginning but instead imagine you won't make anything and your costs are underestimated, it may lead you to bankruptcy - if you still want to do it then you are an entrepreneur.
from now I shall be refered to as Stinger
Stinger says OGI will be available for purchase in the 40's this Month, won't be too much more volume in the 50's IMO
Anyways now I changed my profile so people know what I look like in real life, is it me or do we kinda look alike?
I don't know about Vape pens, seems to small to get the job done properly but I never tried one. We have two Arizer products - Made in Canada, go Canada!!! The Arizer Solo portable unit is awesome, my wife uses it almost exclusely, we also have the standard table top unit, forget the name - it also does the job really well.
I make my own hash, and use kief from my grinder - I like smoking - I am stupid with my lungs, joints and cigs, but I always loved smoking and I like the way it feels. I really need to just stop it and start vaping exclusively as well, now that I think about it I am going to just stop buying papers and cleaning my nasty pipe.
As for extracts, made some hash myself - what is the point really, with vaping you extract the necessary med from the plant material and it gets you high right. Tried some oil, it is just like hash, kief is almost the same thing. With the Tweed weed they cure it perfectly so my grinder has a screen that seperates the crystals "Tricomes" - it is an extract in its own right.
HC I am sure will regulate the use and dosage standards with extracts eventually. Can't have kids at school with vape pens right, they can decarboxilate cannabis and put it in capsules or elixers that you can drink - which will be great for all those suffering from neurological/muscular diseases that somehow benefit from CBD - don't think my wife is in that category and i use it to get high so I don't care for me personally - my wife likes eating edibles but I grow my own for that because this shit gets expensive, but that is why it is a good investment, right?
Tweed already has their own HC inspected and regulated lab, they already have applications in for the study of extracts, they got some equipment to isolate terpenes and using it to classify strains - some real science starting to take off in the extracts department un in Smith Falls, in the end it is about tricome extraction, don't want to lose the terps though - and don't take nothing I write personnally, I am usually just high and laughing to myself - when I was writing that crap about organics I was just laughing thinking about how you would react when reading it, it is your face man - you look really, really serious in your photo - you remind me of that guy who was in Top Gun and gave Goose and Maveric and ass-chewing, he also played the principal in Back to the Future - that is you with your serious face and bald head - peace, ok now I just changed my profile for you bro - i am high and laughing to myself - I need to do something else with my time, bye
i thought you would see the humor in that ridiculousness, i was just playin
anyways you were right the first time, Organics is trending - you need to stick to your guns there buddy
I am waiting, I do want to buy some OGI, but I got to see a reasonable price to dip in. This is a bet, I am thinking this month TWD does way better than OGI, just because of the mismatch in Price/Book ratio and the supperior position that TWD is in marketwise. They are essentially years ahead of OGI in business developement, and just now I check their menu and they ran out of their only available $12/gram strain. Apparently they are having a hard time keeping such a large selection of cannabis available to anyone who wants to register, a problem I am sure that will be solved with this years greenhouse growing season.
Organigram as a business will develope I am sure, and with the valuation where it is now you are bound to eventually recoup at least some of your losses - good luck, but I would switch it all to TWD for now. I wish Organigram as a business was growing faster, first time I ever made money trading was with OGI so I want to get back in at a reasonable price, but TWD is just way to damn attractive right now for me to even consider it
organics is easy as it is reproducable - organic farming is arguably the first industry that human beings began, so it has been around a long, long time. If you look at the history of humanity it would seem that organic farming isn't trending - factory farming with pesticides and chemical fertilizers is trending in this day and age, organics seems like a niche method of farming at the most, it used to be the only farming that humanity was capable of - so you are just totally wrong as always, organis isn't trending, sorry - I bet that guy who is 71 can tell you when he was a kid organic farming was way more prevelant than today, ever hear of 'Victory Gardens', I can promise you he has!
that does sound good, I rake leaves for a living but at least I own my own means of production, - a campground and a decent rake. I couldn't in good concious invest in the likes of McDonald's.
If I am a day trader for getting more stock as it becomes cheaper and then selling it all as it becomes much more expensive - well then i can't deny doing that, but I will be damned if I sit around and watch the ticker all day, I just put in buy and sell orders, most of them never happen anyways.
Before I went to Jamaica I put an order to get rid of my remaining shares at .59, when i came back it hadn't filled, so I got rid of my position at .54 because I LOVE TWD below $2.
Anyways, my bet is a TWD share under $2 will beat a OGI share at .50 in the long run - just math, would you rather own 3 organigrams or one Tweed - when you compare the two side by side the answer is obvious, OGI is a loser
3 ogi's would cost about 100 million market
so would twd, with three ogi's you get about 1800 kgs a year to sell, with TWD you have 3500, with OGI you have a mortgage and long term debt, with TWD you have cash (they have more cash than OGI has book value, every way I make a side by side comparison of the two it makes it graringly obvious that OGI is overvalued
i am not a day trader. I am 35, just started investing, but I learn fast. Our shares of Organigram, if Organigram were to go out of business and sell all of their assets, distributed all the remaining value of this company to its shareholders - you would recieve less than 12 cents - it is called book value.
The book value of OGI is very low, every month they don't make earnings it goes down, when they take out a loan it doesn't help, HC approvals don't help, only earnings can help - in order to JUSTIFY it's current market value it would need to EARN money, but it doesn't do that now.
OGI is currently over valued, PERIOD.
I didn't think that all out when I first bought, my only reason for buying at the time was some bullshit I read from Chris Perry, luckily when I read it the news was old and most investors were already decently burned, I got in right where it is now,, .53 CAD I seen it go down some, I have seen it go up some, and I bought and sold accordingly, I made money, now I am out -
I put my money in a much more advantageous position not that I have actually done some DD and thought about the numbers
OGI is a bad bet in this market - if they do good others will do even better, but good luck to all, especially the elderly - But I will gladly buy some more if it drops to about .46 CAD, not much, but some
if i were you i would sell out and let your wife manage it - you worked all your life and you trusting your efforts with the likes of Denis Arsenault? You must have been convinced this was a decent investment because of Chris Perry, which only further reinforces the thought in my head that stock promotors ought to be beaten by thug cops in the back of paddy wagons!
This whole issue is confused by the fact that you can almost always make money selling cannabis, BUT - if you start a $30 million dollar company with less than $10 million - you need to sell a SHIT TON of cannabis before it makes sense to your investors - so in the end you may be okay, but half of Canada needs to get high off of OGI's buds before you do my friend
The truth is I have already made a decent 19% return on my investment with OGI, and it has nothing to do with what OGI as a company doesw, I wasn't investing in OGI, I was speculating on penny stock investor enthusiasm, if you can't understand the difference than stop playing this game with me, you will lose!
when you write stuff like that you almost make me feel bad for making good trades, I know for every winner there must be a loser, and the loser is usually old and thinks he knows better, its a damn shame!
