very bullish trading going on today and very healthy trading
thats right while we hold for much higher gains along with the institutions who have done tremendous amounts of DD on this before investing. I think when the next wave comes through, we will start to see a few coming in here saying how they sold out trying to flip this and now they are going to be paying more.
that is great to hear w3 thanks for the information, nice to see that people enjoy coming to Spicy Pickle over and over, they really have some great reviews.
accumulation zone here, looks like this is the point where we start seeing the institutions loading up some more shares, 11,500 at the ask is certainly bullish and great accumulation.
i dont think that gap will be filled this is a breakaway gap, and came from the significant news out after the close yesterday. i cannot tell you how to invest since each investor has their own style, but i feel the best style on a low float long term play, is get a starter position and accumulate the dips. again please refer to this thread for a review of the gap discussion:

jonesieatl, it is working for me, anyone else having this problem?

pushing higher here 1.33 uting
its great to look at camera 2 and see all the different products being worked on, lloks like we have gotten together all the parts to start that LARS, great to see.
printing 1.32 now
Great to see the spike in the CMF, money is coming in here and people are starting to take notice

seems like great food
thank you w3, that would be great
sounds great, hope you can get back to us with that piece of information, thanks again w3
I like the fact that we are going to start testing a breakfast menu, that is excellent business and will make Spicy Pickle the place to go, whether you want some breakfest and coffee or a nice healthy lunch.
239,172 already traded, that is great, and we still have 5 hours of trading left.
great accumulation going on here, people are wasting no time and are hitting the ask, the realization that a couple of pennies difference and that could mean being in it or not is starting to set in, and these are people holding long term, locking up shares here.
great information w3, thank you for sharing with the board, how would you say was your overall experience at Spicy Pickle? I have talked to a few who have gone their and they say the food is great and it was packed.
i definitely think that this is not for the flippers, this is for the long term and you will steadily see a much higher return by holding this, rather then flipping, it already has left many behind, and tends to move rather quickly, since the float is so low.
Shares Outstanding: 45.35M
Float: 14.63M
badmutha, you still havent hopped on board, come on we are waiting for you at this range, so is NITE. lol i'm just kidding, to each their own, the truth is this could get interesting very quickly.
great base forming in this area. watching the trading action today shows how strong hands are gathering as much shares as they can and are going to be holing for much higher gains, they buy at the ask and keep buying, that shows how much they see the gains will be and that is the only way to gurantee they pick up shares
i think that is the smart way to invest in this doubledownga, buy an initial position, and accumulate the dips
the accumulation here is evident seems that a larger buyer wants to accumulate at these levels. Check out the Acc/ Dis line indicator on the chart. its very telling.
not necessarily, if you look at my post on gaps it states that "a good uptrend can have runaway gaps caused by significant news events that cause new interest in the stock"
that is taken straight from the Stock School on Stockcharts.
Since we received news at 4:10 pm yesterday, this is significant news. For many it is the realization that these franchises are going to keep opening up and we have 50 possible new ones in the pipe for 2008, while we should have 40 opened up and operating by end of year 2007. We currently stand at 28 with the latest addition of these two.

very healthy trading here so far
hello king, welcome back
certainly is, going to be an interesting week
hahahaha you have been speaking of this dip for quite awhile, seems like your going to pay a premium for your shares at a higher pps, but hey if it does dip i will be buying more, i see higher highs and higher lows forming.
Pre market buys going in at 1.24
your welcome
great news indeed, deepsea this is directly from the last 10-QSB:
During the period ended June 30, 2006, the Company operated two business segments. The Company Restaurant Operations segment was comprised of the operating activities of one restaurant owned by the Company. The Company-owned restaurant conducted business under the Spicy Pickle name. This restaurant specialized in fast casual food featuring fresh, made-to-order, premium submarine, deli and panini sandwiches, salads, soups and soft drinks. The lease for the restaurant location expired in November 2006. The restaurant was closed; however, the Company has a replacement restaurant under construction and plans on opening it during the second half of 2007.
The Franchise Operations segment is comprised of the operating activities of the franchise business unit, which licenses qualified operators to conduct business under the Spicy Pickle name. These activities include, among other things, real estate site selections for new restaurants, construction management, training of new franchisees, and the monitoring of ongoing operations of these restaurants. Under the terms of the franchise agreements, the licensed operators pay royalties and fees to the Company in return for the use of the Spicy Pickle name.
Great news today after the close at 4:10 pm, I updated the Current & Projected Franchises chart in the IBox, we now stand at 28 operating restaurants and many more to come. I believe if you take a look at Colorado, that is the potential that Spicy Pickle really has in each state, just to begin with. With 15 restaurants operating in Colorado already 15 restaurants times 50 states = 750 restaurants. Not a bad start.
looking deeper into the PR, we see more important information like:
- Spicy Pickle® currently has a breakfast menu in test, potentially opening a new daypart for the chain.
- in the process of building a major commissary in Denver to cost-effectively supply its local restaurants with panini, sandwich breads and sweet treats, baked daily according to Spicy Pickle's high standards.(opening scheduled for end of 2007)
here is a copy and link to the Press Release:
Spicy Pickle Announces Two New Store Openings
Tuesday October 9, 4:10 pm ET
New Openings in Past Week Mark 27th and 28th Units
DENVER, CO--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 9, 2007 -- Spicy Pickle® fast casual restaurants (OTC BB:SPKL.OB - News) today announced two new stores have opened in the past week, bringing the current total to 28 stores open.
Both new sites are in Colorado, and represent the continued penetration of the Denver Rocky Mountain Front Region where Spicy Pickle® is a branded and well-recognized name.
The first store opened in the North Boulder area. It is located at 2520 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80304. This is the second store for the Boulder-based franchisee, the first being one of the highest revenue stores in the entire chain.
The second store is in Johnstown, CO. Johnstown is located on the highly populated I-25 corridor north of Denver, on route to Fort Collins. The store is located at 4791 Thompson Parkway, Johnstown, CO 80534.
Marc Geman, CEO of Spicy Pickle® Franchising, Inc., commented: "As our brand expands in the Colorado region, more consumers will recognize our name. This should fuel increasing same store sales. We plan to follow this model in other major metropolitan areas around the country where we currently have a foothold."
By the end of 2007, Spicy Pickle® anticipates opening approximately 12 more units, bringing its network to 40 restaurants in 13 states. Nearly 50 additional franchise development agreements have also been signed.
In addition to its franchise activity, Spicy Pickle® currently has a breakfast menu in test, potentially opening a new daypart for the chain. The company is also in the process of building a major commissary in Denver to cost-effectively supply its local restaurants with panini, sandwich breads and sweet treats, baked daily according to Spicy Pickle's high standards. All other units nationwide will continue to bake their panini and sandwich breads in-house. The Denver commissary is expected to open by the end of the year.

i think your right, a quick look at the synergies that have yet to come together here (synergies we know of , of course, since management has a reputation to underpromise and overdeliver)
-Mako Technologies deal
- more Proteus (TM) orders and contracts
-Dahlman Rose and Co. upgrading their target
-possible initiation of coverage from another (other) analysts
-Potential working to uplist, possibly to the AMEX
-Q3 results which should be great, check out the cameras and you'll see why
-other possible announcements of further acquisitions
-growing industry sector, moving into deeper and deeper water
-affliations to companies such as Matrix, which will not only bring brand recognition to Matrix products here in the States, but also bring brand recognition to Deep Down Inc. products, i mean we are the ones they must go through for the product.
these are just some of the forces still waiting to push this price per share higher, by building shareholder value. Management has shown their efforts to create shareholder value, and it is evident in the PR's being released
thanks spook, i have done the research on the Proteus, just wondered what it looked like, thanks again
great post Tradeswapper, and certainly agree that someone vesting this amount of money has done their DD and is certainly supporting the stock, while potentially buy more on a day to day basis.
and wasnt the recently completed LARS the Proteus unit for SLB?
certainly is and check out the CMF and the Acc/ Dis , looking great
sulphur, that is another LARS they are putting together right?
