Thanks for the education, 240. This cod scraper appreciates it. Not many business courses offered in NS. Mostly just sailing and fishing programs.
(Don't you feel sorta silly?)
Did you read my emails to/from Texas Children's, 240?
But to your point ... if "it works" why isn't it selling? Why does malcbaby have other things in development, or whatever he said -- why not stay with the winner? Why isn't there more interest in what's already been "developed"?
Pity poor drumbah who only wants to make some money back on his investment -- give him some answers!
That's a cop-out, paige ...
there isn't anything you won't respond to, whether or not you have any idea what you're talking about. Unless, of course, responding doesn't suit your purposes. You're kinda like capnwow that way.
Isn't it just sound research to know everything you can discover about your competition? I always thought so.
But oh well.
How well does it work, 240? And just which (mindbending, breakthrough, make-all-your-dreams-come-true) technology are you referring to?
In any event, no point in carrying this on.
Paige !!!!!
Speak to us about Raman. Surely you've done some research on it?
How can I be "unbiased" when the history of loch/cdex and its players is filled with lies? Not just false starts or unforeseen obstacles ... lies from the gitgo.
You ask too much.
But then you have stock in this company and I don't. I submit that makes you a tad more willing to wear blinders than I am.
Somehow doubt that "this" one is hype, 240z. One of many, perhaps, some that will make it and some that won't, but seems as if this one has some serious credentials enthusiastic about it and behind it. Can you say as much for cdex?
Anyways (tm nasfanium) I posted it in hope that capndagoodwow and/or paige would find it worthy enough to comment on and maybe even supplement with additional research, which they're so very good at.
Apparently not of interest to them. Quelle surprise.
paige ... I know you do your best thinking at night, so what do you have to contribute to the discussion begun about Raman?
Well, what does mikel or paige have to add? Nada? A little slow on the uptake, they are.
(This settles it once and for all ... I'm giving up cod scraping and going into another line of work.)
mikel ... or master researcher paige ...
have you come across this in your dd?
http://tinyurl.com/2b8r8q
Any comments?
better: give her some links so she can do her own (in depth) research.
She likes doing research. Almost as much as capndagood.
xeno ... you'd better 'splain for paige what Reg D qualified means. I don't think she knows. Also 'splain what unrestricted means.
I think I'd make a very good shill.
Probably much more lucrative than scraping cod. Thank God tomorrow's Sunday and I can take a break from such backbreaking and mindnumbing work.
drumbah ... you very funny man! Here are capnmike and xenophon discussing weighty matters and you just cut to the chase!
Why does this feel like a set up? Can't wait to read the engagement (assuming capndagood doesn't withdraw).
Why would that "trouble" dacapn? Doesn't he want to make his losses back up?
Why troubling?
Unless standaman is who you think "gave the call." They being neighbors, so to speak. Maybe she even "styles" his hair.
But even if so, why troubling?
btw Mr. Xenolawyerman ...
What does "functionality" (or "greater functionality") mean in malcspeak?
"... and if you can squeeze out one more, get them up to 71, I'll be your friend for life!"
When did malcbaby start posting and then come on as ceo, diddy ... do you remember? I really don't!
Remember this, preen?
From Jan. 20, 2001 PR:
"Loch Harris, Inc. (OTC:LOCH) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a plan to move forward with efforts to spin-off a substantial portion of the chemical detection technologies developed by Chemical Detection Technologies, Inc. (ChemTech), including the ELF (Eliminate Landmines Forever) and VAMMP (Vacuum Multi-Constituent Monitor of Plasma) systems which are currently undergoing further testing and continued development. The proposed spin off-plan would involve issuing shares of common stock in the new Delaware Corporation to the existing shareholders of the common stock of Loch Harris, Inc. as of a record date to be determined in the near future. The company will announce further details of this plan as developments warrant."
Similar writing style and use of language ...
A plan to move forward with efforts was approved by none other than the BOD. Weighty stuph, that. Plus, systems are being tested more and development continues.
And where are the li'l ol' elf and its kissin' cuzzin vammp now?
I think they died dead.
I don't think cdex (or maclbaby) is gonna clear that up, diddy ...
"What IS malcbaby now?"
I'll split the point witcha, xeno ...
we each get 1/2 a point.
Now I guess you'd better go address paige's latest ...
I dunno, xeno ...
Clients are paying customers in most businesses -- ask pookie! Interchangeable terms, usually. At least til malcbaby chose to interject "select" into it. Then it all got a little murky.
Cautious CEOs (is he the CEO? I know he let that reference slide by without correcting it but still I don't know what he is or isn't) would use either word more precisely.
Frinstance, if they weren't paying customers/clients, what could malcbaby more accurately say? That interest has been expressed by whatevers? Yes, that would be okay. But not nearly as forceful as calling those whatevers clients/customers.
And you're right ... malc will go forth and multiply the suckers.
Gotta cut daBeez some slack on this one, give them a few points for not having called the Norwegians' invitation to present some serious facts about elf (and join them in their landmine detection/clearance efforts) a client waiting for the next generation of that remarkable technology.
"Today, we have a backlog of clients that are awaiting installation of expanded ValiMed™ units..."
Sure makes it sound as if they're lined up waiting for the delivery trucks to arrive, that the "backlog of clients" have maybe already even paid some upfront sort of retainer to make sure they get one of the first "expanded" (read: new and improved) units actually installed before the supply, which probaly won't be able to keep up (initially) with the intense demand, runs out.
Must be a wonderful position to be in, having a "backlog of clients" waiting. Note nothing is said about these being potential customers -- they're a backlog of (by implication and inference) existing clients who already are on board.
Texas Children's? Maybe I should reread the letter from Karen Gurwitch again. Especially this part:
"Between that time and recently, we performed various tests with the product and determined that it would not meet our desired needs at this time. The company had some ownership and management changes, and wasn't ready to provide us the product we had understood they would be providing. We are currently working with Valimed to identify how the product could be improved to help us enhance our current safety measures."
This company clearly has something very special in its Valimed! It even has Texas Children's helping them identify possible improvements!
Oh wait ... the very next sentence sort of takes the wind out of those sails:
"In addition, I have been reviewing other technology improvements that could add value to the systems currently in place."
Gosh, I'm not really sure what this all means. Can someone here please clarify ('cause I don't imagine cdex or its "founding father" will)?
Isn't he too old to be a crown prince? Or are they ageless?
Better than the Court Jestor, anyways (tm nasfanium)
inet has become a joke even to his fellow troobloo-ers.
Fair point, diddy. Continue!
crow ... but he's made a few peeps choke on their egos! And no I don't think he's a Scot ... probably originally from NS like all brainiacs! (Warm breezes and no seas at all today.)
diddy ... get it RIGHT ferpitysake ... hey Mr. Tallyman, tally me bananas ... daylight come and I wanna go home ...
Harry Belafonte, wasn't it? Luv de caleepso, I does.
He's very good at research ... and pretty good at parody, too.
What do you suppose his IQ is? Around 200?
Someone please tell me what's going on?
What's da buzz, tell me what's happenin ...
So nice to hear from you, you sweet li'l ol' blue-haired thang, you.
Did you ever sell your wunnerful house?
Are you and your hubby very very happy with your profits from your "investment" in this here li'l ol' company (by whatever name it goes)?
Have a good day, if you can.
or belgique.
Real is as real does.
Even with women. A grey or white streak (if natural) is nice in hair that is (also NATURALLY) a variety of colors. I know whereof I speak! And a full head of healthy white hair (not sassyfrasse blue, a look favored by certain little rotund women) is startling and usually stunning.
Thus spake someone named Zibathirsty or something.
LOL !!!
Raider has also been feeling really good about the health of Generalissimo Francisco Franco and JFK these days.
Well, maybe xeno with his incredible seek & find abilities can discover the names and direct e-mail addresses of the Directors of Pharm's at the other hospitals crow(e) linked and we can ask them where things stand with the units they bought (or were given or lent or whatever).
Here's your first Dir Pharm name, xeno ...
John Tourville, Director of Pharmacy Services for Children's Medical Center Dallas (Jan 14 2005 PR)
Tourville quoted in PR: "Looking forward, we expect ValiMed to be expanded to validate IV medications before they are administered to the patient. Placing medication validation on the front end of the medication use process will help us achieve our goal of eliminating medication error."
Maybe you can call UC Davis Hopsital/Sacramento and ask who the Director of Pharmacy is and go from there?
What are the names of the other 22? Maybe I can write each of them an e-m, too.
Her reply was gracious, wasn't it? And candid!
