"His Goals are saving lives and bringing continuous value to shareholders..."
Now is that the direct order of his priorities? I'm gonna need the shareholder value thingy to leapfrog that whole "saving lives" crap if I'm going to invest my money here! ;)
J/k of course. Thanks TERB.
Any idea on a ballpark timeline for getting their product to market? Or at least until the first contract might be signed? (I have a feeling it'll be a snowball effect here - i.e. if/when the first contract is signed, there will be dozens (hundreds?) signed in days following).
Thanks Manti. I appreciate the synopsis.
I hate to ever even bring up the word "dilution" but when I'm researching a stock (particularly something in the medical/pharma field), it's always one of the first questions I ask.
There are way too many stories out there of seemingly legit companies with "wow" videos, PR's, etc. that turn out to be nothing more than smoke - certainly not saying that's the case here (I don't believe it to be based on what I've learned so far), but if I'm considering an investment it is a MUST ask.
Thanks again. I'll continue to do some digging on this and other facets of the company and share anything new I may find with the board.
Can someone here (perhaps someone who's been around for a few months or more) give me a brief overview of the share structure, historical issuance of new shares/dilution. Or in lieu of that, maybe the philosophy/intentions of management regarding maintaining a reasonable share structure.
Hey guys (and gals - yeah, I'm looking at you E.)
Gave the ibox a quick once-over and this sure seems like it's got some enormous potential.
I've been burned on medical/pharmaceutical pinks in the past, but this one seems pretty legit. Time will tell I suppose, but the probability for success just "feels" a lot better with this one.
Thanks for the heads up TERB. Much appreciated. Going to do some more thorough research this afternoon and maybe try to take a position Monday - from the sounds of it I'll be needing to take a number!
well this is a statement from someone who hasn't followed SRSR for very long...
the whole "news is needed" thing is BS...this doesn't run on news, it runs on ANTICIPATION of news...
the price is gonna do what it's gonna do until the next big anticipatory run up - i.e. when folks "in the know" (for lack of a better term) decide that they want a piece of the pie
it's a LONG process...i'm in it as long as it takes for us to reach what i believe is fair value...and i just don't see that happening for a while which is fine with me...more time to buy
but in the interim, money CAN be made here shorter term for those who don't have the fortitude to stick it out for the BIG gains
JMO
take care all...
Hey guys...here are some new "target prices" by Scotia Capital (ScotiaBank from Canada). Lots of miners here to look at. Take them FWIW, but they have some REALLY good financial analysts and normally aren't regarded as being too conservative, or too exhuberant about their price predictions.
Just thought it might give you guys a few more companies that you could do some more DD into. (Obviously the target price INCREASES are the ones we're most interested in!)
Target price changes to highlight include:
* Breakwater Resources (BWR) increased from $0.40 to $0.50
* Cameco Corporation (CCO) decreased from $32.00 to $31.00
* Capstone Mining (CS) increased from $2.50 to $2.75
* Denison Mines (DML) decreased from $2.00 to $1.80
* FNX Mining (FNX) increased from $10.20 to $15.00
* First Quantum (FM) increased from $82.00 to $102.00
* First Uranium (FIU) lowered from $6.50 to $5.75
* General Moly (GMO) increased from $2.30 to $4.00
* HudBay Minerals (HBM) increased from $13.50 to $17.50
* Inment Mining Corporation (IMN) increased from $58.75 to $75.00
* InnVest REIT (INN.un) increased from $4.25 to $5.00
* International Royalty Corp (IRC) increased from $4.75 to $5.50
* Lundin Mining (LUN) increased from $4.15 to $5.35
* Pristine Power (PPX) increased from $2.25 to $2.75
* Quadra Mining (QUA) incrased from $13.25 to $16.00
* Sherritt International (S) increased from $8.00 to $10.00
* Southern Copper Corporation (PCU) increased from $30.25 to $39.00
* Teck Resources (TCK.b) incrased from $32.50 to $41.50
* Thompson Creek Metals (TC) lowered from $19.50 to $18.00
* Uranium One (UUU) lowered from $4.15 to $3.70
agreed...and taking it one step further, even an "email" that is "copy and pasted" onto the board doesn't mean it was actually written...super easy to forge one and attach merle's name to the end of it
again, like Red, not calling anyone a liar...
moral of the story is, take EVERYTHING you read on these boards with a grain of salt (a big one in some cases) and trust only those who's entire body of posts over a longer period of time PROVE to have some validity
just a word to the wise
Or you could do the Miami thing and just call this "The B" (board)
But that's just a wee bit arrogant, isn't it?
I like yours better...
you'd like that wouldn't you?
just save the board some time and let 'em know what price you're looking to re-enter at.
yep, love me a good ol' fashioned fire sale!
what a tremendous opportunity to add to your position...
in a year these prices will be laughable! (heck, they are now)
yep...loving this buy op...this is on paper only...you haven't loss a penny unless you sell
buy all you can!
Agreed. And as far as I'm aware the first NI report is an "open" report that can be built upon with new findings...
Now perhaps someone knows here: Will there be individual NI reports for each "zone" (i.e. Hawke has a separate report from SE, etc.) or is it one giant open report for the entire Nem. property?
I'm thinking that has been answered before, but I'm having a brain fart (and I'm undercaffeinated today).
Enormous (final) numbers wouldn't surprise me in the least...
Sure seems like every PR has one of the following words:
"Expanded"
"Deeper"
"Wider"
"Build/Improve Upon"
"Increased"
"Exceeds"
Never a bad thing when dealing with drill results and prospects IMO!
Is that all? ;)
yep...ours is much more attractive for numerous reasons.
Interesting to compare this claim to Nemegosenda...
TNR Gold Corp. Acquires Large Rare-Earth Elements Target in Ontario
Market Wire
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/14/09 -- TNR Gold Corp. ("TNR" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: TNR) is pleased to announce the acquisition by staking of the Big Beaverhouse carbonatite complex located 450 kilometres north of Thunder Bay in northwestern Ontario.
Key point summary:
- The Big Beaverhouse is one of the largest carbonatites complexes in the province of Ontario measuring 6 kilometres in diameter and a surface area of approximately 16 square kilometres.
- It was explored from 1960-1977 for niobium (pyrochlore) and residual apatite (industrial fertilizer application).
- A 98 metre thick magnetite-apatite-rich unit intersected by a historical drill hole near the centre of the complex was sampled and analyzed in 1980 by the Ontario Geological Survey, confirming the presence of Rare-Earth Elements mineralization.
- Rock types encountered are similar to Rare-Earth Elements projects at the Mountain Pass Deposit of Molycorp in California and the Bear Lodge carbonate of Rare-Element Resources in Wyoming.
- Other historical data reveals high grade niobium up to 5.5 wt. % over 1.7 metres.
Gary Schellenberg, President and CEO of TNR comments "We are pleased to have diversified our exploration portfolio to include Rare-Earth Elements targets. Rare-Earth Elements along with Lithium and Rare Metals are in high demand as a result of the rapid advancement in technology, including green power generation, nanotechnologies, hybrid and electric cars. TNR is thriving to move into this new market of high value strategic commodities to help meet the needs of consumers resulting from unprecedented growth in high-tech industries."
ABOUT BIG BEAVERHOUSE RARE-EARTH ELEMENTS PROPERTY
The Big Beaverhouse property consists of 12 claims (180 units-460.8 hectares) located 450 kilometres north of Thunder Bay in northwestern Ontario. The property can be accessed by floatplane or boat in the summer and a winter road in the winter. An all weather road and infrastructure is located 40 kilometres southwest at Goldcorp Inc.'s producing Musselwhite gold mine.
Partial Rare-Earth Elements analyses conducted by the Ontario Geological Survey on historical drill holes on the property in the 1980's has reported up to 3,200 ppm La+Ce+Nd (Sage 1982). Of significance is the documentation of loparite ((Ce, Na, Ca)TiO3) in the complex (Platt 1994). Loparite may contain up to 34 wt.% total Rare-Earth Elements oxides (TREO) and is an important ore mineral for the Rare-Earth Elements in Russia. Other historical data reveals up to 5.5 wt.% Nb2O5 over 1.7 m and up to 18.9 wt.% P2O5. Drilling in the 1960's, carried out for niobium, intersected a 98 m thick magnetite-apatite-rich unit near the centre of the complex. Such units could contain elevated Rare-Earth Elements, which will be investigated. Apatite contains up to 3.3 wt.% total Rare-Earth Elements in carbonatite-alkalic complexes elsewhere.
Ike Osmani, P.Geo, is the company's qualified person on the project as required under NI 43-101 and has reviewed the technical information contained in this press release.

Then why are you here? Put your money somewhere that you believe will make you some money in the next several months (conservatively, as you put it).
No sense belly-aching and hand-wringing if you're not patient enough to wait this out. It isn't, and never was, a short-term play. Pity that many thought it was...
Nature of the pinks I suppose.
nice! many thanks.
Not "all" of us.
Trust me.
the absolutely baffling thing about it is that despite his contention that we are still year(s) away from valuation, he feels it necessary to post this EVERY day...and that there will be no catalyst to get us going, and insufficient volume for quite some time...
if you believe this so strongly, why not just sit back, relax and concentrate on other more pressing/urgent stocks?
i'm just sayin' - something doesn't add up.
yeah, it's a good thing there aren't any broken records around here hammering away on the same point over and over and over and over (ad nauseum)...gosh, that sure would get annoying...
anyone have a picture of someone beating a dead horse? might be fitting here.
Well, it can't hurt to give it a try. Just know going in that trying to get any information from Merle beyond what has been released in a PR in the past is akin to pulling teeth.
Try not to get too frustrated if your efforts don't bear any fruit. Merle plays it close to the vest - as he well should.
But please give it a shot. Let us know if you have any luck. Thanks brother.
Merle doesn't do "estimates" or "timelines"...From my many dealings with him, he much prefers to stick to definitive statements only. And those must be public knowledge already. If you are looking for an explanation of PRs or clarification on something that has already been put out in an NR, then you'll likely get a good answer. If you're looking for speculation, opinion or anything forward-looking, consider your chances slim to none!
Just a word to the wise...
This company is top-notch (despite the exchange they're listed on) and they will not let ANYONE compromise their integrity or their ability to uplist and attract larger institutional investors in the future by "spilling the beans" in the wrong forum. Trust me on that.
Lack of patience...that's why people prefer the sponges and hot-stock-du-jour...
We'll have our time and it will be bigger than all those others combined IMO! No exaggeration.
I would think that audited financials would go a long way in quelling the fears of prospective institutional investors...
Certainly an uplisting would do wonders here, but in the absence of that, the AF's could help...and they will - all in due time.
The concentration now (and has been since SK came on board) is to prove up and identify as much resources as possible. That is our meal ticket - the stuff in the ground. The rest will come.
Lots of patience required here...those who have it will have perma-smiles in a couple years. I've never been more confident about anything in the investment world FWIW.
You know - that PR may just be my favorite one to date...
There are so many juicy little "read between the lines and let your imagination run wild" nuggets in there.
Scott & co have a unique way of insinuating certain things (kind of a point us in the right direction approach) in their PRs without actually coming out and saying definitively what their plans are for the future.
Their forward-looking statements are slightly more hidden than others', but trust me - they're in there!
Lots to get excited about, both on the surface and slightly beneath it, from this last release.
Exciting times ahead. (Suddenly feeling that much more confident about not selling any in the high teens/20's!)
No exact time table, but feel safe that you can measure it in months, rather than weeks...
Simply basing that off how long the first one took, although the gold property could (will?) likely be a smaller scale, but not necessarily any less detailed since we'll be trying to entice potential JV partners...
Would love to see a big PM push here with some increased volume...I'm surprised that we're up a full penny on <2mil volume...
Kinda impressive actually...
Coronado giving a bunch back this AM...
Thoughts on the slide?
She certainly looks promising intermediate- to long-term still.
Not necessarily a good thing, as history has shown...
It's good to have exposure, but swingtraders, flippers, and the like also come with the territory...
Just a head's up.
yep, definitely no oversights on that PR...went over it with a fine-toothed comb
looks like the market is responding favorably (right now at least) to our surprise two-front PR...just imagine if we had a double-digit million volume day!
And does the official countdown to the JV announcement (for Shining Tree) begin with this release?
That is one of the most important "nuggets" to take from the PR, IMO.
Reaction to the gold results? Comparatively speaking, how is this deposit shaping up?
So let me see if I understand you correctly...
You have a case where a historical occurrence has taken place multiple times in the past with cases PROVING that it could either do "A" or "B" - which contradict one another...
Yet, you still choose to use the word "signal" as if closing below a certain line on a chart has any sort of merit or validity...
I'm sorry, but in a nutshell this is the overwhelming problem with TA...At darn near EVERY turn there have been chartists predicting that a close here, a close there, a cross of this line, a support/resistance, etc., etc. (ad nauseum) will mean that the price will do "this" in the near future...Well at darn near EVERY turn the chartists have been wrong as often (or more) than they have been right...
I've heard the whole "it's an inexact science" line one too many times. Perhaps it's time to acknowledge that TA is relatively useless when it comes to trading SRSR.
The fundamental story is what is the driving force here. Always has been.
History has shown that we rise in ANTICIPATION of the news. History has also shown that we keep making higher "bases" of trading as the fundamental story slowly matures. Such is the life of a junior miner/exploration company. That's it. That's all.
...IMO anyways.
Thanks Threw...I might just do that (give Mr. D' a call!)
Sure looks like a promising opportunity. Should have paid closer attention a couple weeks ago!
Ah well, with little resistance to darn near a dollar, there's still plenty of room for her to stretch her legs, huh?
Thanks again!
I'm wondering if I'm a little late to the party on Coronado (CRD.V)?
Seems like it's got some excellent potential for a nice run, especially on the increased volume of late...
Short- to intermediate-term price targets anyone?
TIA
Not just hinted - confirmed.
To multiple posters I believe, FWIW.
Thanks for the PM Threw-er.
I immediately did what you recommended after seeing my post had been deleted.
I am embarrassed to have ever been affiliated with the board in question. What an absolute joke it has become.
I posted re/ my congratulations for someone taking profits when they could and said that I believed we'd all have the opportunity to do so (and then some) down the road - certainly a positive remark - and it gets deleted? I'm at a loss. I've officially given up short-term hope for that board. Very sad...
Your board here, however, is great and provides a wealth of knowledge and opinion on prospective buys in a very hot sector. Thanks for that, brother.
Could someone please explain to me why my post was deleted? TIA.
