I've been to the site. I'm very familiar with the area. Go ahead and get pictures so I can verify if you're just another pumper of this company.
This is a desperate attempt to pump up the stock price IMO. Even their filing says they would be starting a "pad ready site" and road improvements. Big deal. They flatten out the mounds of dirt on site and maybe pour a concrete slab. Did anyone read the Herald News article? "An official ground breaking" at a later date. That later date could be a year away or more. Anyone who's followed this company for a while knows we've been hearing "ground breaking" reports since last year at this time. Did anyone see the video online? There were a couple trucks driving around and about 3 cars in the lot. Not a whole lot of work happening. Just some PR to pump the volume of trading up. They have to keep the lights on in the new dispensary and need money badly
The CEO and his cronies are taking salaries even though there's no income.
There's a little warehouse grow facility/medical dispensary in Fairhaven that the CEO is on the board of. It just opened last week. I'm sure some ACAN investor money went to that project. Previous 10Q states that this dispensary will not be required to pay back ACAN for six months after they generate revenue. (Small beans). These guys have made claims of starting this mega greenhouse project since last winter yet there's still nothing going on and there is only one tenant willing to lease. The only tenant is the CEO's grow/dispensary, Bask Inc. There seems to be a shell game going on with the money and a lot of borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. There are a couple of pumpers of this company but the lack of trading volume says nobody is buying into the B.S. the pumpers are slinging.
Looks like they keep milking mother goose for $800K loans that they intend to pay back with $1.50 shares. I’d laugh my ass off if this thing goes sub $1. Even if they build it, nobody’s coming.
Why pay $3/share when the company is giving away shares for $1.50. That's a pretty big premium to pay for a company that has no way to generate revenue besides dilution. Nobody is buying into the leasing concept except for a buddy of the CEO.... The lone "Preferred Partner".
Wow, just look at the excitement over this article. A whole 26K shares traded today...
He was too busy with the opening of his own dispensary to be concerned with filing a 10Q. Should be pretty easy when you make $0 in revenue
It sure is a better deal than actually buying shares in the greenhouse of dreams
I'm just waiting to get some of those $1.50 shares like those wicked smaht accredited investors.... I certainly wouldn't pay these prices for a company that's been over promising and under delivering for a long time now.
Does this somehow get them a greenhouse built in the near future? That's what I thought. Who cares who is tracking this POS stock, it doesn't get ACAN a leasable building or the revenue that comes with it. Another yawn...
It looks like site and road improvement work has begun at least. I was just in the neighborhood today. They’re still so far away from building anything
No medical growers aren't waiting for the greenhouse of dreams to be built. There are cultivation facilities going up all over the state. There's plenty of cannabis to be had, in all forms, with or without a medical card. Ever seen Massroots or Twitter? They are practically giving weed away on those sites. There won't be any shortage that will create a need for 1 million SF of greenhouse. So many growers out there and their product is already in circulation.
Maybe this goes back down to “accredited investor” territory again. That’s about all these shares are worth.
Cannabis prices are getting really cheap. $1,600/lb. That price is not nearly enough to justify leasing from ACAN. The only people who will pay high prices from a dispensary are newbies. I think many more will home grow or buy underground. Medical cards will be irrelevant in Mass soon. Cannabis and cannabis products are already flooding Massachusetts and the first recreational shop hasn’t even opened yet. I think ACAN needs to move on to a new batch of suckers in another state. They missed the boat here in Mass.
Back to the pit of misery for DSGT
Yawn.... We'll see if ACAN actually gets paid. In the meantime, there's still only one preferred partner for MMCC, who happens to also be the ACAN CEO, and still no building to be leased in Freetown or anywhere else. A $74 million valuation is just ridiculous. I wouldn't touch these shares up here in the nose bleed area.
I would be worried about being labeled a “bulk cultivator” and facing federal charges if I were thinking of signing a long term lease in the greenhouse of dreams. I don’t see how this is anything but a negative news for ACAN. This US attorney didn’t say he would not prosecute like others have said. Trump and his crew can’t be trusted.
Did anyone see this Boston Globe today?
US attorney throws future of legal pot in Mass. into doubt
The top federal prosecutor in Massachusetts on Monday refused to rule out a crackdown on regulated marijuana companies, setting the state up as a front line in the war between President Trump’s administration and the dozens of states where cannabis is legal for recreational or medical use.
Andrew Lelling, the new US attorney for Massachusetts, said in a statement that he “cannot . . . provide assurances that certain categories of participants in the state-level marijuana trade will be immune” from prosecution under federal law, which categorizes cannabis as strictly illegal.
What should we make of this???
Will ACAN still draw down on that $10 million investment to build something with Sessions breathing down the industries neck? Inquiring minds want to know. What’s the plan now ACAN?
There are better plays on companies that are actually executing a business plan. This one is in the nose bleed seats at this point and looks way overbought.
I just can't see this company valued at $100 million.... There's nothing but a business plan
$$SLTK$$ Way to go Solis-Tek!
The problem with ACAN is that there’s been so much hype and promises that have yet to be delivered on. Remember when ground breaking was supposed to be last spring? They were putting out press releases that were ultimately nothing but false information. Their website makes claims that simply aren’t true such as “developing and owning” facilities. After the last couple weeks, I’m glad I haven’t sold off all my shares yet but I remain skeptical that ACAN will ever have a state of the art production and processing greenhouse. There are other companies trading for less that are actually creating revenue. If they haven’t broken ground by the next 10q report, there’s no reason for this company to stay afloat.
So after flipping through to read about Tim Keogh I stumbled across Medicine Man Technologies. Similar business model with actual projects being built. California is a large market. If I wanted to invest 25k+ into this type of industry, why choose ACAN over MDCL?
This stock has been pumped and dumped over and over again. This company is garbage. Everyone can keep getting great deals on this POS all the way to zero. Good luck bag holders
That’s better than .20 cents/share....
This company can't even get their quarterly reports out on time and correctly. Why would anyone believe this CEO is anything but an idiot. Keep on pumping but there are no more takers on this POS
Why would anyone dump more money into this POS? That 10Q just confirmed this company is garbage. The only thing lifting this is another pump and dump scheme.... Even that needs to be paid for with capital this company doesn't have. Time to rip the band aid off and take my loss...
And there's the registration...
Was glad to see this companies light fixtures being represented at the Harvest Cup in Massachusetts this weekend. It's a huge market to try to penetrate. Lots of commercial growers getting going in Mass.
Wow, a whole 8 trades on this one today. Where's all that optimism over the now super late 10Q filing? Oh well, I guess nobody is left for the pumpers to offload their shares on. This one is going to zero
It seems likely they must have hit another road block that only the insiders know about. Obviously panic selling going on today. I wonder when the bad news will break
They can't seem to dump this stock fast enough today.
Purely manipulation to draw in more suckers.
A $580 investment isn't anything to get excited about...
Lets just say it's quite a lot higher than where the stock is trading today. I'd be happy to get at least half of my money back
What is all this speculation about? That 10K couldn't have people this excited.
Unfortunately I do have shares. All in the red.... I thought this company had promise but it is seeming more and more likely they are just another fraud company trading on the OTCBB.
Why can't this company get their act together? Monthly cease trade orders because they can't get reports out on time. Doesn't sound very promising. If there was good news to report, it would be reported.
Please tell everyone exactly how much of the "giant greenhouse production center" is actually shovel ready. 30K SF maybe? One million SF is years away from "shovel ready". 30K SF is a piss hole in the snow.
