I too am averaged in at 0.096... and going down. I hope I'm not the only one taking advantage of the poor fool dumping at 0.066.
Finally... some progress!!!
That's because he can't talk about the technology... yet.
While the federal government has known about Pristine technology for many years,
it has never been officially recognized because inspectors never visited the test plant in Oklahoma.
Once the new plant in Wyoming is complete, dry test runs will begin and it'll be open for the "DOE and NETL Approval Review," expected Q1 2020.
President Trump will then finally be able to publically acknowledge our tech. Don't be surprised if you hear "beautiful dust-free clean coal" at rallies in coal states this summer! And let's not forget what a few presidential tweets would be worth to us... CCTC, the next Bitcoin?? $$$
Don't be too sure of that... it might be closer to 0.001%.
Once the new plant is up and running, and initial testing is completed, I suspect samples of PRB Pristine-M will be exported to several potential overseas customers. I'm not just talking potential licensees, but potential buyers of exported PRB coal. If reasonably priced, dust-free, low-sulfur, high-energy thermal coal is of interest to them, expect coal producers in Wyoming to take swift action to meet the demand.
Yes, and much of that exported coal will come from Wyoming.
WY Gov. Mark Gordon follows 198 on Twitter, but very few coal-related companies.
In fact, excluding press and NPOs, Gov. Gordon is following exactly ONE company period... I'll give you three guesses.
https://twitter.com/GovernorGordon/following
Agree 100%. CCTC's technology reduces pollution from coal dust and toxins such as mercury and sulfur dioxide.
Pristine-M will also reduce CO2 emissions since less coal will have to be burned.
Even so, CO2 is far from the boogeyman it's been made out to be.
The Earth "has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide."
A greener earth supports a thriving ecosystem... which means more beef to feed the hungry.
Unfortunately, that also means increased methane emissions.
As a greenhouse gas, methane is several orders of magnitude worse than carbon dioxide, thus AOC's plan to commit bovine genocide.
But does man-caused global warming even exist? One study found that solar cycles may account for as much as half of surface warming since 1860. The rest has been blamed on fossil fuels and farting cows . However, the data used to determine the 1°C global temperature increase over the past century is simply inaccurate. Many weather monitoring stations that were located in an open field 50 years ago are now in a concrete metropolis.
Nice! Based on historical trends, I'm predicting 0.094-0.097 for Monday.
Interesting that a photo of Black Thunder Coal Mine was used in the article about CCTI and the UWyo.
"Black Thunder is the second most productive mine in the United States, providing the U.S. with 8% of its coal supply." (Wikipedia)
What does Black Thunder have to do with CCTI? AFIAK, nothing directly. However, Black Thunder is in close proximity to the abandoned Two Elk Energy Park. That property was being considered by Wyoming New Power for its 2-MTPA Pristine-M facility that would purportedly process nearly worthless mine tailings into nuggets of dust-free gold. It's not hard to guess where those mine tailings would come from.
So true, especially when we set a new 52wk low today.
I'll make this prediction... Activity at ground zero will push us back over a dime by end of January!! Not sure of the year, though.
WC, I agree 110%!!! Happy New Year!
2020 should prove to be a very profitable year for CCTC investors.
True, they might have/had plans to present somewhere.
WC, you make a good point, the original Pristine and future Pristine-SA will likely be the focus of Dr. Horner's research since they'll squeeze the coal dry of all impurities resulting in maximum byproducts to monetize. Pristine-M adds some of those removed volatiles back, coating the coal to lock out moisture and prevent dust, and also to ensure proper combustion. AFAIK, this tech is good to go if the tumbler works as advertised; that is, no need to wait for research at ACPIC to begin signing clients... At least, we all hope that's the case.
They did not pump the grant... in fact, right the opposite.
I believe that was just conjecture in the forums. Any grants, applied for or not, were probably handled through the university.
Yeah, it could be a while, but CCTI doesn't need ACPIC to move forward with testing coal and signing clients. AFAIK, Dr. Horner's research at ACPIC will focus on coal byproducts using the "waste" from the test plant next-door. He'll try to monetize products from that waste, and hopefully with the help from federal funding, extract valuable rare-earths from our sludge.
The real question that needs to be answered...
Is Pristine-M financial viable without monetizing its byproducts?
I say YES, at least in the countries that need it the most.
If not, research at ACPIC may be vital to the ultimate success of CCTI and we'll need to be patient and watch a new slab cure.
Nice find WhiteCoal... Looks like ACPIC is moving forward quickly with proposals for "Preliminary Design, Final
Design, Bidding, and Construction" due Jan 8th with contract approval by Feb 25th.
I remember management saying something in a webcast about the possibility of partnering with a mine, or even purchasing one, and processing the coal themselves. I know, it sounds crazy right now... but just wait!
I believe he was referring to the latest Investor Presentation from September 2019.

Notice the DoE and NETL Approval Review is expected in Q1 2020.
That could be BIG if it leads to official DOE recognition of this technology... not just for grants, but for possible federal subsidies that would encourage the use of pre-combustion clean coal domestically.
I especially liked this line,
"A 10mta facility will provide $10m up-front followed by $30m per year over a 25 year agreement."
Have there been discussions with potential clients for a 10-MTPA facility?? I also liked the emphasis on 25-year agreement because it could affect our valuation once revenue starts flowing... that is, it hardly makes sense to use a P/E of 10 if the gravy train lasts for up to 25 years.
Smart move! There's a lot of penny stock scams... some would argue most of them... but not this!
CCTC is still a gamble, but only because financial viability has yet to be proven. I'm betting it is, at least in the countries that need it the most which have labor rates less than one-tenth the United States. Even in the U.S., clean coal subsidies could tip the scales in our favor. Remember that solar and wind was not financially viable at all until all of those government subsidies. In the past decade, increased use of green energy has led to improved technology and lower prices, which has made it somewhat competitive with fossil fuels. The same WILL happen with clean coal technology.
Yeah, that's about right... on the lower end with Jindal because it is expected, but we could break a dollar within days of an announcement of a large shipment from Coal India for testing.
I don't really expect any coal to be shipped until after the plant is assembled and tested with local coal; maybe 4-6 months.
Obviously, that was a typo in the SEC filing (0.09, not 0.90) and that triggered the October 2018 rally.
Hard to believe it was never corrected.

Yep, we could definitely see lower before visible progress on the test plant. I assume management is in a holding pattern until first quarter when the next installment of the university grant is due. Even with the cash in hand, heavy snow or sub-zero temps are a good excuse for more delays. If so, we will hit new lows. No need to worry though... The future is looking very bright for CCTC, once Eves stumbles across the light switch.
I expect the test plant will be operational before April, but my guess is that alone only takes us to 0.10-0.12 or so. If initial tests on local coal are successful, add another nickel. So, no... I don't see us passing 0.18 before April unless we are testing coal from likely licensees. Nevertheless, anyone who buys in at current prices should be very happy by April.
While there would be nothing wrong with him "peeling off a few for spending money," the fact is it's been more than 4 years since Eves disposed of any shares (August 2015). Notice at the bottom under Remarks he wrote, "Sales to partially off-set IRS Demand Lien."
https://ir.cleancoaltechnologiesinc.com/section-16-filings/content/0001185185-15-002631/form4.html?TB_iframe=true&height=auto&width=auto&preload=false
Eves and Neary appear very confident in the future of CCTI and are hording a mountain of paper. As long as management continues to add shares, so will I.
No, they cannot sell their shares without us knowing and tanking the stock. If they started dumping, I doubt their 37M+ shares would be worth a penny apiece. AFAIK, the only time Eves sold shares was to pay an IRS tax lien, and he gifted a few shares a couple of times; that's it, and that was years ago.
Remember, that salary is being paid in shares they can't sell and IOUs they can't cash. If CCTC doesn't succeed, management is royally screwed. Why pay themselves in worthless paper year after year unless they can see the pot of gold at the end of this seemingly endless rainbow?
As to your point about taking their time... If I were a cynic, I'd believe management was keeping shareholders largely in the dark to keep CCTC undervalued to maximize shares in lieu of salary while slow-walking the commercial rollout so they can continue to stuff their mattresses. I don't believe that's the case, but you can't deny that these delays are only going to make them richer if Pristine-M succeeds.
Assuming test plant 2.0 construction and testing goes well, I'm guessing we're first on their list for commercialization funding.
Gov. Mark Gordon wrote in the intro to his proposed Wyoming State Budget dated 11/18/19...
I always have that "load up on more shares feeling."
Each month I throw all of my disposable cash into CCTC, and have for years now. Goodbye new pc... goodbye new car... goodbye haircut... goodbye McDonalds... hello ramen noodles with ketchup. Yuck!
This could be a game changer! …

Eves might want to avoid any Christmas parties...
or else he might be singing tenor as his chestnuts are roasting on an open fire. LOL!
It's possible, even likely, the "entity" that controls WNP also controls CCTI. We know that "strategic investor" acquired all convertible notes in 2017 and has been financing CCTI through commercialization. That means Wyoming New Power *will* have their 2-MTPA plant if Pristine-M 2.0 testing goes well.
The prototype is 1/15 scale (vs commercial module) and it should be a simple matter to scale it up. Assuming WNP purchases the land they were considering, which was already zoned and permitted for a coal power plant, it is certainly possible construction on the first Pristine-M commercial module could begin in 2020. $$$
We probably won't hear more news until January. I suspect they spent their $1M match for that $500k grant and are in a holding pattern until next quarter, when they can expect another matching grant towards construction.
In the meantime, this is a great time to buy.
Obviously, Coal India would upgrade their low quality coal in India... However, they cannot meet India's growing demand for thermal coal, so they plan on importing 185M tons in 2019, 60% of it low quality coal from Indonesia which averages just 7,500 Btu/lb (4,200kcal/kg) and up to 50% moisture!
Pristine-M plants built in Indonesia would reduce that to ~10%. This is where Pristine-M will be most profitable, as importing soggy coal, half of which is water, from a country 3000 miles away by ship or 4000+ miles by rail can be expensive. Questions over financial viability are thrown out the window here... this is one case where IT WILL BE PROFITABLE, that is, if the tech works as advertised... which will be demonstrated soon enough.
That is why the Indonesian patent announced two weeks ago is so important!
It seems no one noticed that tweet... you know, the one that could make us all rich! $$$
That sounds reasonable... and if one of those coal shipments pending testing is from Coal India, we could easily break a buck or two based on speculation alone. Even a small deal with them would be HUGE. Based on standard royalties, we would ADD $1 or more to our PPS for every 1% of Coal India's annual production upgraded to Pristine-M! $$$
((1% of 600M tons/yr) * $3/ton) * 10 P/E / 180M OS = $1
Yeah, it's just a pipe dream... or is it?

Assembly "to be completed no later than Q1-2020."
So, it could be earlier?
Also of note, we never saw an SEC filing or PR confirming receipt of that half-million-dollar grant because they never received it. The University of Wyoming is paying the EPC contractor directly for the rotary kiln construction.
Since the UW and ECED recently received two grants for ACPIC construction, paying the EPC contractor directly for a kiln that is necessary to extract byproducts needed for ACPIC research is probably a good idea... plus it might avoid double taxation if those grants are taxable.
Overall, 10Q is about what I expected. CCTC will continue treading water until we see visible progress on the test plant.
Dilution is simply delayed.
