Why would you put yourself on the line like that? This is just a stock play. Desperation should be left out of this, sell while you're ahead. If you have that level of desperation about a stock investment, seeing that you have a short position at this point in time (buying in at .02), you should consider long-term investments. This one will play out extermely well over time, and I'm not talking about days/hours, which you seem so fixated on. "Let it ride" would be a good motto for you to adopt! GLTY
abbam~
All due respect but, you said
But I honestly don't think it's possible to have it for another few weeks.
Why? What do you know about this particular audit that others do not?
Good report, thanks Stock H.O.G.!
Don't believe any buyout rumor, it's not what's going on. Buyout rumor with NDOL spawned a huge run-up and then subsequent run-down. No buyout happened. IF YOU DON'T HEAR IT IN A PR VIA MARKETWIRE FROM PV, DO NOT BELIEVE IT. It is likely coming from those who want to spur a quick run up in the stock. IGNORE THE NOTION UNLESS THE COMPANY ANNOUNCES IT. Am I on track here? Or do people actually think a rumored buyout is a possibility? You kiddin' me?
For all of you guys out there, telling stories about telling/not telling your wives about the stock....try this>
When you get home from work or see your wife for the first time each day, ask her about her day. Then listen. Then tell her about your day and offer her a glass of wine. Then tell her SLJB friggin exploded into the oblivion and you sold all of the shares you owned at a 250% gain and she'll go crazy and you'll have the most passionate night of your marriage.
Then the next day you can take the cyanide, as you will realize that you sold waaaaayyy tooooo sooooooonnnnnnn.
HOLD LIKE A MAN!!!
Gotta top off my position tomorrow. Guess the opening bid/ask anyone?
You have to blow out all of your candles first!
Last night was "The Bashers Last Dance", if you will. They thought that the CEO statement would leave some shareholders doubting. So as bashers do, they tried to pour it on, so to speak, and get weak hands to sell today by dissecting all parts of the statement to instill the greatest amount of uncertainty that they could. Well, as you see tonight they are gone, mission failed. Smart money continues to buy and follow here and normal dips in the share price are expected. It did not and will not tank. The Bashers Last Dance was a belly flop on the gymnasium floor.
Go SLJB, GLTA
skinluvr~
Keep it coming, thanks for the update!!
Another Scorcese! Will we see you on the Red Carpet in March? LOL It was a beaut.
DO NOT FART on this board!
Shoot, I have more confidence than ever after the events of the last 4 hours.
We have a CEO that:
a. Has the integrity to apologize to the shareholders for having an unforeseeable happening cause a delay in a promised statement (it could have been something personal)
b. Delivers the statement!
c. As soon as he knows that he will be leaving in six months, informs the shareholders at that moment.
d. Will perform as CEO for six more months (no doubt to me that he has no issues with the credibility of Sulja, otherwise, he'd be gone RIGHT NOW)
And most of all ~ bashers have shown up all at once in record numbers!!!
Nope, you didn't, but it is known and has been PR'd before by the company. He also said "shareholders" but didn't mention my name in particular.....so......what?
Whoa, the shorters saw the CEO statement and said... "We got away with one today - it's really coming now. Audited financials this week, by KPMG and PWC no less, we've got to do something to shake out some shares. Call in all the bashers, HELL, call Janice, we've got to pull out all the stops. Our time is running out, let's get all we can while there is still a crack in the door. Hurry, call, call, call all bashers to SLJB boards everywhere, we've got to shake shares loose in the next two days or we're going down. This is our last chance, Janice will you help?"
ogclip, yess, green is fine today, we know more green is coming in the days ahead.
Statement will be read at halftime of Monday Night Football. WTG Petar!
Watch volume jump now!
He did however say Monday morning....

Sulja Bros. Building Supplies Ltd. CEO Petar Vucicevich Updates Shareholders
WINDSOR, ON -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 13, 2006 -- Sulja Bros. Building Supplies Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: SLJB) CEO Petar Vucicevich is proud to announce a shareholder update.
CEO Petar Vucicevich stated: "As the new CEO, Sulja Bros. will continue on the same path that Steve Sulja created. We will not reverse spilt our shares or change the share structure. The company will continue the Middle East growth with the same philosophy of 'Excellence.' Our customers and shareholders are the primary concern. We will strive to close amicable contracts that will increase the size and price per share of the company. I will approach this task with the same conviction as my predecessor.
"The company financial audit is nearing completion. We anticipate having the audit stamped this week. Early next week the completed audit will be available for shareholders to view at www.suljabros.com. I will also issue a new statement made available at the same website on Monday morning."

Pssst, Petar...........now.

Great advice.
lionsfan55, I think it's off because some days a certain number of posts are deleted. Greenspirit would know if that is the case. Just guessing here.
jd~that's funny as h@ll, take an I-hub break. LOL
Bee-be-bee-beep .... bee-be-bee-beep
This just in, SLJB meteorite heading for WALL STREET screaming "can you hear me now?"
Bee-be-bee-beep .... bee-be-bee-beep
teste~
that's what I expect as well.
Outstanding skin! Thanks for making it a point to share with us.
After all the company has said and fulfilled, we had a survey of shareholders today on this board wondering whether or not it's appropriate to call to verify a press release??? All press releases thus far have held thruths and come to fruition.
AMAZING.
"Keep it in your pants" is a phrase that comes to mind.
If the company were to PR that their phone number was changing, I think they would probably get 500 calls to verify....
Slow down and breathe everyone, it will happen. As soon as they don't own up to a PR, then there is reason for question, until then, let them do the work!!
Steve Sulja said "very soon" we will see why it was not necessary to reverse split the shares to "easily beat the Nasdaq minimum requirement" for a listing there. VERY SOON and EASILY BEAT tells me he is thinking far north of $4.00 per share. To close each and every day above $4.00 for 90 consecutive days, "easily" probably means $8 - $12 per share considering retracements and daily fluctuations in share price. IMO we will be seeing big dollar share prices before we know it. (3 to 6 months even). Did I say that out loud?

If this has a 50 to 100% gain tomorrow on anticipation, can you imagine how long the weekend will be?
Missed it by that much.
