looks like the traders are going to beat us back down again. Very frustrating to say the least.
I noticed and thought the same thing. Almost like trying to read a book in a smoke filled room with your eyes watering! LOL
makes you wonder what happened to the two MOU's we had going. Would be nice if they told us they decided to pass on the two deals.
You may be right. In the report they stated they have $19 million in the bank and this year they expect to shell out $4 million for operating expenses! This management team is a joke. What could they possibly be doing to shell out that much cash with only three full time employees? What are they doing in that 5800 square foot office (especially since they are never there apparently)? I am not trying to influence people but I do have questions that remain unanswered.
This is what I was talking about:
The second is on the Company’s corporate history, structure, governance and personnel. Don't appreciate the attack either!
The second part is what will kill the deal! LOL
The operators have been granted an extension until mid-September 2010 to indicate their plans for Exploration Phase II, contingent upon approval by the Joint Ministerial Council of the JDA. Analyses of the data may continue for some time.
Ot but worth the read:
GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY, GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL
The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to find a
wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.
She said, "Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?"
I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course you may!" and she gave me a giant squeeze. "Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked.
She jokingly replied, "I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, have a couple of children, and then retire and travel."
"No seriously," I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.
"I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one!" she told me.
After class we walked to the student union building and shared chocolate milkshake. We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this "time machine" as she shared her wisdom and experience with me.
Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it
up.
At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped
her three by five cards on the floor. Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said, "I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know."
As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, "We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing. There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy and achieving success. You
have to laugh and find humor every day. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die.
We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it! There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up. If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight. Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding the opportunity in change.
Have no regrets. The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets." She concluded her speech by courageously singing "The
Rose." She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives.
At the years end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago. One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep.
Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be all you can possibly be.
I like your numbers and they can't get here quick enough! LOL
great post. We all get contentious at times (myself included) because this stock has worn us down thru the years. Looks like things may start looking up for us. The rise in sp will go a long ways to making us feel better. I just hope the traders don't start knocking it back down. It is a shame we have to fine toothe the internet to find something pertaining to this stock just to give us hope. Hope is our light at the end of the tunnel. The brighter it shines the more we can't wait to get to the end. My hope and prayers is that everyone on this board will finally realize their dreams at whatever sell point they have targeted. I believe that those that say they will sell at .75 etc will not sell all their shares and bail out as by then we should have some news that will make this stock go much higher. I have waited too long and endured way to much pain on this stock to bail now. I look forward to the $2 a share and up. Maybe then this board will become civil and the bickering will be a thing of the past. Sunshine to all today and each day forward!
here is the reply I got from PGS on the JDZ map:
Yes they are the correct colours, oil=green, red =gas orange=cond
Regards Keith
remember that there is a red spot showing on block 3 so that is confirmation of the other stuff found last night by NH. Also shows oil in OBO.

what word do you see in column AG? Don't copy the article but paraphrase it so we can get the gist of the article.
I hear he gets it from Nick. No, wait, that is Thermonuclear Gas that Nick has! LOL
If is is available to anyone willing to pay the subcription price then it is fair game. Post away and asap! LOL
on this map you can more clearly see the red spot on block 3.

I have emailed pgs to see if they can tell me what the different colors mean.
ROFLMAO!
Thank you to the Michelangelo that has done all the painting this week!
no trades yet?
jeez, you sure know how to give a guy a headache first thing in the morning! LOL
Well I am hoping for something to be announced on 8/8 since 8 is the Chinese lucky number.
I believe they were suppose to announce Phase II in March but got an extension for 6 months so they could finish analyzing the drilling results to see if they want to proceed to Phase II.
No wonder it has taken them a year to calculate! LOL That thing is mind boggling(:>)
Probably the same seconds as Obama gave away in dollars last year to the banks to no avail?
Because the Keeney Obfuscation has a cooler sound to it than the Sinopec Obfuscation!
I wonder what their reaction will be when they find out there is just Biogenic Gas there! LOL They better cancel that deep water port. No need for it if there is no oil. Someone forgot to tell them the transparancy window is smeared with some unknown substance that takes a year to analyse using the best Chinese methods available. It can only be found in a small section of the Gulf Of Guinea in a place called the JDZ. It cannot be explained because they do not discuss things that are not found but is obviously not transparent either. It will take years for development (if it is found) after it is analysed. This new natural unfound element will be called the Keeney Obfuscation. The Guinesis Book of World records is already scrambling to figure out how to classify the unfound element. Maybe they should send some of it over to Cern to let it run around the big circle for awhile to see if it is a Quark. I wonder how much Quarks are going for these days?
And YES Straus, this is intended as humor only!
They had that chance when they were going to do a conference call at the stockholders meeting and then abruptly cancelled it.
That is right. They only mentioned Biogenic Methane Gas once. The rest of the finds were either Natural Gas or Gas. Now DK is trying to skew it to all Biogenic Gas in all blocks. Why did they not say that originally? Also out of 13 prospective sands they only found gas in 2 zones. What was in the other zones? If there was nothing there than how did they identify the zones?
You may be right on that. Also if I remember right they found Biogenic Gas in 2 of the 13 zones not 6 zones. Would have to go back a ways to find it and do not have the time. Bottom line is they are hiding something and we know that they know that we know it. Thus the ongoing battle with Keeney etc.
That is correct except in one statement they said they found hydrocarbons in expected quantities. I bet they were not talking about Biogenic gas. But what do I know.
They must be trying to use the Superconductor at Cern to determine the composition of the gas. I heard there is a waiting list and they have been trying for a year to get on it. They are hoping they get in by Sept 15th. I would love to hear the story they are giving to the JDA. It must be a real doozy in order to get them to wait until Sept for their analysis. I say we need to find out who the manager is in charge of the JDZ project and subject them to Chinese torture until they talk! LOL. I guess that would not work though as it entails withholding information for fortmonths in order to drive their patient nuts! Welcome to the 21st century torture tactics.
"Biogenic gas, also known as biogenic methane, is formed at shallow depths and low temperatures" and it goes on to say it can only be found at 4,000 to 6,000 feet. Biogenic gas cannot accumulate at greater depths than that. But, we proved them wrong! We found it at 12,000 to 15,000 feet! Damn, now they have to go rewrite all the books on biogenic gas! And to top it all off we found only Biogenic gas in a section of the ocean that is surrounded by Oil and Thermogenic Gas in huge quantities! Me thinks there is a herd of chinese rats in this ship and they are trying to run us out of the boat!
I don't think the bidders of the EEZ are that stupid. I am sure they have the seismics etc that they need to make their bid decision.
Isn't it amazing when we get a little run up and all of a sudden the cockroaches come pouring out to try to push it back down again for a rinse and repeat?
Voila! That is the first post of yours that I totally agree on! LOL
That is right. If one of their plays extends into one of our blocks we get a percentage of that play as well. The ride is finally getting started.
How did we open?
I thought you had sold! Welcome back. Hope your timing is perfect.
If that was the way it worked you would not have any PSC's signed by multinational companies that trade on US exchanges! You are smarter than that. The contract is probably written under international rule of law and therefore excludes the mandate by the SEC. Why would anyone negotiate a PSC if they know they could not rely on its confidentiality?
But they are legally bound by contract to not say anything until it is released by the operator. You just can't get past that. We all hate it as well but our management has made it well known they will not break that contract stipulation. So we wait. We could be sitting on 49 billion barrels (per Krom etc) but can't shout it to the roof tops yet. Hopefully we will soon though!
They haven't given us the total results and they admit that! They have only told us partial truth which isn't criminal. They have five years to disclose the full truth but hopefully that will not occur. Sinopec is the only one that can give out the real data but they are holding off as long as possible. Hopefully the JDA will put a lot of pressure on them to release the results soon (tomorrow would be nice). If there is not much there they would have no reason to black hole the info. Just put out a pr stating they tried but nothing there and get on with life. But they have stonewalled for a year now on drill results which tells me they have a monster on their hands and they are trying to figure out how to corral it! They need time to woo partners (Total?) to help them put a program together. Think deepwater Gahwar and you will know what it would be like to take on all these blocks. Those three blocks are potentially at least 10 times bigger than Akpo and look how long it took to develop that field. The Chinese just need to look at one block at a time to start developing and bring in the other blocks as the infrastructure is built up.
